Fordele: Really nice apartment, especially bathroom.

Ulemper: Big kitchen but no plates at all!!! And it wasn’t a mistake. Do not dine there, the most expensive food of all the island. However breakfast ok.

Fordele: Værelset var særdeles dejligt, med skønt badeværelse og kæmpebalkon med aftensol. Meget venligt personale.

Ulemper: Havde bestilt halvpension, da stedet ligger langt ude på landet. Har normalt gode erfaringer med den lokale mad på sådanne steder. Men her blev vi skuffede. Følte der var tale om ren affodring. Skulle stille på et bestemt tidspunkt, og retterne blev herefter serveret i en fart af en tysk kvinde. Mindre end en time efter var det hele overstået. Maden var bestemt ikke noget særligt og ikke spansk. Alle andre gæster var tyskere, så måske var maden tilpasset dem? Ikke mulighed for at spise ude om aftenen her i april.

Fordele: Excellent accommodation in the country. Large comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. Made breakfast early to catch early morning flight.

Ulemper: The host was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. but during our stay we would have liked more access to staff rather than having to go in search of them. The hotel is casual in its presentation of itself. A huge drawback was the fact of no tea making facilities in the room. We could have asked for tea but the dining room was always closed until lunch or dinner.Being so isolated we were dependent on the hotel for everything. My bedroom/ bathroom was in need of update.However I'm sure other bedrooms would be fine. I would hav expected tables to be set for breakfast rather than the guests expected to do it. I would class Puig de ros de alt as a B/B rather than a Hotel. l

Fordele: Det er svært at fine Puig de Ros d'Alt men når man når frem er stedet utrolig smukt og fredfuldt. Dejlig bygninger og værelse med alt hvad man har brug for. Man kunne bestille "svigermorens" mad om aften som var super fint og med de gode lokale vin. Dejlig siddeområde og swimmingpool. Super dejlig sted hvis man vil væk fra "almindelig" hoteller og finde noget helt andet.

Ulemper: Vi synes om det hele... så der var ikke noget vi "ikke synes om".

Fordele: Location is peaceful and calm. The old style villa is absolutely charming with so many beautiful details. Swimming pool and area around it is gorgeous and there are usually very few people using the pool at the same time. Breakfast has lot of variety. Evening dinner that is optional may seem a bit expensive but it is definitely worth having at least once during your stay. Both food and atmosphere are really nice. Both owners of the property and entire staff are very warm and caring. Beaches close to the property (10-15 min ride) Cala Blava and Cala Pi are nice. We recommend restaurant Bella Italia in Llucmajor and Es Rebost and carrer de Rambla en Palma. Great food and decent prices. For people with kids we recommend Marinen Land and Katmandu Park that are 30-40 minutes ride from the property. All together we enjoyed very much and looking forward to come again in future.

Fordele: The room was nice and beds very comfortable. We had a lounge with kitchenette and fridge which made our week long stay more enjoyable. My partner found the cooked breakfast selection to be excellent. There were also cold meats and cheese, muesli, fresh yogurts, fruit, cakes and good selection of breads available. The TV channels available were good we made use of BB1 & BBC2 plus the german Eurosport which meant we were able to watch US Tennis open late in the evenings. The outdoor pool & the Spa facilities were very good. We were able to play tennis and mini golf free of charge equipment provided by the hotel. Short walk to seafront, and stops for express bus 25 into Palma ( 1Euro 50 cents) and express bus 21 bus to airport (5 Euros)

Ulemper: No poached eggs available and no cereal flakes - So for me breakfast was not so good. The pool was only open 10 am till 6pm - If you were out sightseeing there was no opportunity to use the beautiful pool. We did have a problem with the air conditioning not working correctly in our room, fortunately they were able to provide us with another room of the same standard on the second day of our stay. Breakfast can be eaten outdoors but can be spoilt by people smoking on the table next to you - it may be that a designated area for smokers is required. For some reason the other UK channel available on the TV was Radio 2 red button with no sound a total waste of channel option - Hotel needs to supply a different genuine UK TV channel.

Fordele: The hotel and facilities are great. Breakfast up on the roof, swimming pools, spa, clean, chilled, great location not far from the beach, very nice and helpful reception staff. Highly recommended.

Fordele: The hotel and our room was very clean and had a nice fragnance. Great value for money! The food was great and the skybar as well -amazing view! I would definetly choose this place to stay, close to party streets, close to the beach but still quiet area. We were very satisfied and we highly recommend this hotel! :)

Ulemper: Unfortunately the waiting time for the check-in was a bit too long, they tried to make it better with serving some lemonade for the waiting guests and with an ultra friendly and kind attitude of the receptionist, but it was still way too long. It can of course happen, that we just came in a wrong time, but also when we were checking out, we had the same impression :/

Fordele: We were on half board, had late arrival and they left the restaurant open with a plate with a selection from the buffet that you could warm up after, that was a great thing! both breakfast and dinner are of an amazing selection. Staff is a 10 so nice, and smiling all the time , few minutes walk to the sea front and nothing to complain about, I would definetly repeat

Ulemper: If I have to say something, pillows, but it is very personal so maybe someone else loves them!

Fordele: The staff were polite, friendly and helpful where possible. There was a wide range of food options for both breakfast and dinner. What's more, every meal had a selection of food that was made to order, right in front of you. Meals were tasty - self serve buffet style. Good value for money. The beds were very comfortable. The room was a decent size. The foyer was well designed.

Ulemper: The bedsheet had a stain. The plates, cups and cutlery for breakfast and dinner were often dirty. Note dinner drinks are NOT included in half board... and they are pricey. 50 minutes away from palma. Bathroom very intimate - clear frosted faux walls so you can see and hear almost everything your travelling buddy is doing. Not a great view - either people sunbathing or a wall..

Fordele: Faktisk hotelværelse til pengene, virkelig venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Buffeten var lækker, men ikke ekstraordinær. Generelt virkelig rent og pænt, og poolområdet er også lækkert de de få timer der er sol

Ulemper: Havudsigten er lidt fesen, da man kan se få meter hav gennem andre bygninger. Poolen er lidt lille

Ulemper: Breakfast was not very good. Bacon like rubber, cooked within an inch of its life. Eggs were mostly cook but some were not completely cooked. Pool was closed in, claustrophobic.

Fordele: The hotel location is perfect next to the beach ,our room view was amazing. Everything was super clean the staff was super friendly and helpful !!! The food /quality/was perfect,fresh with lots of choices ! We only can just recommend for everybody!

Ulemper: Vi havde værelse med havudsigt - men havet var så langt væk, at man skulle kigge over gamle hustage, baggårde og ikke mindst hotellets nedlagte pool og pool-område, hvor det flød med affald...

Ulemper: pool uden vand, men fyldt med affald luftmadras bolde gammelt tøj og 10 cm ildelugtende gult vand, ikke nogen rar udsigt.

Fordele: Rent hotel og fin og særdeles billig mad

Ulemper: Vi synes, det var rigtig ærgerligt, at poolen, selvom vi godt vidste, den ikke var brugbar, lignede en losseplads

Fordele: Bedroom was really spacious and furnished in minimalistic style. Breathtaking Port and sea view from our balcony. Bed was really comfortable and a real big double bed (not two twins bed together).

Ulemper: Low quality breakfast. Really slow elevator. Room was nice but bathroom was not really comfortable, shower curtain was missing and every time we took a shower, water was all over the pavement. Sink was clogged up. The cleaning lady opened owr room in order to clean it while we were still sleeping.

Fordele: Very, clean and nice room. Polite and helpful personnel:)

Ulemper: It was a little bit too loud.

Fordele: Location was great! The receptionist obliged to our request to book a cab. Interior of the hotel was nice. Extra towel for the beach, extra sun screen lotion show their care for the visitor in general.

Ulemper: It's nothing negative about the hotel but sometimes other tourists can become really noisy. They also leave the common toilet a mess.

Fordele: As it was October the hostel was quite quiet so we could get a good sleep

Ulemper: The area is not the best one and they should improve on the cleaning

Fordele: Very clean reception, dining rooms and pool area. And very very friendly staff there. I really liked their pool, access to sea and also, their breakfast and the bar.

Ulemper: The room given to me was very close to a busy road and soundproofing was not sufficient. Then early in morning there were lots of movement of garbage and delivery trucks. However the bed and room otherwise was comfortable. I would request hotel to book me a quieter room next time.

Fordele: Friendly reception staff. Food really nice (could have been hotter)

Ulemper: But when we got there, although we had put in a request for high floor and room with a bath 2 months prior at time of booking, this request was not met. My husband doesn’t like to complain so we just took the room on offer. This was middle of a corridor on 2nd floor so lots of noisy people going back & forth until after midnight! Bed sheets were not changed for all 5 nights we were there. Toilet dirty on arrival. Although sealed as clean. Hotel Bar very expensive.

Fordele: Excellent hotel!! great location in Can Pastilla. The beds are very comfortable, everything is new, rooms are not huge but the size is ok. We had already breakfast included and at reception they offer us to add dinner, great idea!! It was winter and there were no many options around. Both, breakfast and dinner were delicious!! a lot of variety and every day they were different options of food, very good service and tasted great! The people at reception are very friendly!

Ulemper: A small thing to improve, in my personal opinion the pillows are not the best ones. It happened twice to us, that the shower was extremely hot the water and we couldn't get cold water. We told the reception guy about it and they were going to fix it. Apart from that we had a great stay and we will come back!

Fordele: Maden var rigtig god - meget forskelligt og lækkert.

Ulemper: Only one member of staff working past 5pm for the whole hotel and our bathroom flooded and nobody sorted it out

Ulemper: Our view was of slym flats accross the road. Promised a room with a view from their messaging. On booking in the receptionist said xome back in the morning and you can change your room. That receptionist was lovely and helpful, Receptionist the next morning was the total opposite. Cut off mid sentance I was told " you can't change your room, all rooms havethe same view".....

Fordele: Breakfast super !!! but no parking for rented car :( Anyway it was nice holidays :)

Fordele: Breakfast was super. Only criticism was the quality of the coffee. Broad range of food. Hot was hot, and selection was good. Also the dining room and terrace were very comfortable. Good time range also, 8 to 11.

Ulemper: Lifts were very slow. Brochure in the room said rooftop pool opened at 10 am in one language and 11 in another. On the day we chose to use it, it did not open until 11.16 am. Queuing on the stairs. On checkout day keys stopped working at 11am locking us out of our room. If we had not discovered this early it could have delayed our departure planned for 11.50.

Loved all Family friendly We checked out at 11 and they are happy to keep your bags whilst you go to the beach or go on the 10th floor the top roof pool and bar..

Fordele: We have all inclusive catering which was very good. The beach and bus stations was very close and everything went well. This was our second time here.

Fordele: All inclusive was good. Plenty of choice even for me being vegan. Good value for money. Staff at the bar was great.

Ulemper: The pool area is in the shade most of time because of the building position, we only stayed 5 days and the beach is only down the road.

Fordele: We have all inclusive catering which was very good. The beach and bus stations was very close and everything went well. This was our second time here.

Fordele: The location is great. Overall friendly staff. The food, varied and excellent tasting. We could store our luggage and still take a shower if needed, have lunch and use bar facilities during afternoon, after we had checked out (our flight was only at night)

Ulemper: The elevators take a long time

Fordele: Everything was nice. The staff was very friendly every time, they asked all of our questions. The all-inclusive accommodation was excellent, the foods were varied and delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect to us, the beach is around 5 minutes walking, restaurants are around 4-5 minutes walking, local shop is around 3 minutes walking, renting office on the opposite side of the road on the front of the hotel.

Ulemper: There was not fridge in the room, but You can rent them from the reception for fee.

Fordele: Mad var i orden, men at spise samme mad i en uge kan man blive trætte af.

Ulemper: 3 lille elevator til 900 gæster, og lille bassin

Fordele: I loved everything about it

Ulemper: There was no cocktails on the menu

Fordele: Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og venlige. Der var stort udvalg i buffeten og maden var udemærket. Man kunne altid finde noget man kunne lide. Værelserne var enkle og rene. Stranden ligger meget tæt på og er rigtig lækker.

Ulemper: Poolen var nærmest ubrugelig, da den var overskyet det meste af dagen og få liggestole. Derudover blev der ofte spillet meget høj musik i poolen, som ofte var noget teknolignede støj. Heldigt at stranden ligger der, for ellers havde det været en kedelig uge. Der var meget lydt på værelserne, så man kunne høre sine naboer tydeligt, samt dem der gik ude på gangen. Vi havde larmende naboer som ofte generede os sent om aften.

Ulemper: Der er meget larm omkring hotellet men det må man forvente. Til gengæld er internettet total old Scholl! Der burde dælme ikke være nødvendigt at forsøge.at narre gæsterne over på betalingsnet hvergang man skal logge sig på hotellets net. Det bør kunne gøres meget bedre end det. Det er ihvertfald mange år siden at vi har oplevet tilsvarende..

Fordele: Very clean hotel, helpful staff (they helped make the stay more comfortable for my other half who was injured), great location (restaurants, bars and two beaches within walking distance), and generally a lovely atmosphere. Overall a great stay - thank you!

Fordele: A great receptionist who was very helpful, polite and friendly. We were going to the east side for a tennis tournament so it was close to the airport for our late arrival and quick to go east. Great location to get to a local tennis court and the water.

Fordele: Prior booking I read reviews of many hostel in El Arenal. Some were beyond absurd other were ok, but this hostel as you may see from overall glance has more good reviews than bad. The staff is very friendly and there for you in case of help or a question. The rooms are clean, we got room with view on the beach so was good plus. As far as I understood the rooms are cleaned daily during morning hours. We had two heavy bags to bring to our room on 4th floor. Didnt complain because it is not in our nature to but one of the staff member was very considered and offered us lower floor. The hostel offers free breakfast every morning that can help you to be full for at least 5 hours. Nights are quite even though the hostel located in somewhat busy district (the German district). Definitely would recommend travellers traveling on budget!

Fordele: Morgenmaden var ok. Aftensmaden var ringe. Der er meget lydt på værelset, så man kan høre alt hvad der foregår i de tilstødende værelser. Hotellet overfor er meget larmende.

Ulemper: Aftensmaden var ikke god. Lydnivauet var højt. Parkeringsmuligheder var næsten umuligt. Der mangler en mulighed for at købe lidt frokost i baren.

Fordele: Great value for money, room for 3pax with ok'ish breakfast and good dinner included fot just about 60 eur per day. Good supermarkets nearby: Mercadona, Eroski. Private pool with deep water. Bus connection to everywhere. Not far from the airport.

Ulemper: Facilities are a bit exhausted, especially lift. Pillows and mattresses in the rooms could be more comfortable. No fridge in the room.

Fordele: Vi fik et dejligt værelse med skøn udsigt over byen. Meget venligt personale. Maden var helt ok. Vi ville så gerne have boet der i hele vores ferie

Ulemper: Da vi ankom fik vi at vide at vi skulle flyttes på et andet hotel om 2 døgn, da der skulle lukkes ned for sæsonen. Det ville vi gerne haft besked om inden ankomst så vi kunne finde et andet hotel.det lagde en stor dæmper på ferieglæden

Fordele: Dejlig morgenmad. Sengen var fin

Fordele: Poolen og priserne i baren er okay. Vi fik halvpension, maden var kedelig og smagsløs men i forhold til prisen var det nok hvad vi kunne forvente. Det er et okay sted til en familie med halvstore børn.

Fordele: morgenmaden er helt ok der er hvad der skal være. beliggenheden af hotellet synes jeg var rigtig god.desværre var det ikke muligt at morgenbade inden morgenmaden pga. rengøring af poolen.

Ulemper: aftensmaden får en de store karakterer.maden mangede smag od var ikke særlig delikat.deserterne var meget ringe og uden smag. en mærkeligt rodet sammenblanding af buddinger der hurtigt så ulækkert ud

Fordele: Staff were friendly helpful.

Ulemper: The hotel was 90% occupied by groups of young people, mainly German and Dutch, who were drinking all day. We changed room after the first night having been woken at 3am with people returning from night cubs and continuing to party all night. The change in room resulted in only a small improvement as these groups were everywhere throughout the hotel.

Fordele: Breakfast was varied and very tasty. Everything was fresh. The dinner buffet was also varied and tasty. The staff at the reception were always very friendly, efficient and helpful, namely Eddie and Patrícia who spoke good English! The room was big as well as the bathroom. On our late arrival we had a meal awiting us in the restaurant, though it was 11 pm! We stayed on the 5th floor which had a lovely terrace with chairs and we could enjoy the sea view. Very close to the beach and a good supermarket.

Ulemper: I was very surprised to find out that the staff in the dinning room did not check who had half board so anyone could use the buffet without being asked about their room number...I questioned the reception and they said the dinning room staff had a list but they simply did not check it...The guests were terribly noisy at night but I can understand it was almost impossible to control them as there was only one security guard and the noisy guests shouting at inappropriate hours were hard to control, as well as their loud music. Back to the guests...there was a sign in the swimming pool area forbidding ball games but some guests simply ignored it and the staff would turn a blind eye on them! On the beach it was very bad as there was always very loud music brought by some beach goers and lots of empty cans and bottles, even if the beach was cleaned every day! Plus the problem with adults playing ball games and hitting you with the ball while you were relaxing in the sun! It was difficult to get out of the shower as there was little room between it and the bathroom door!

Fordele: The only thing we liked was the shower room which was clean, modern and the shower was vvery good.

Ulemper: Extremely expensive for the standard of the room, which was extremely basic, not even a decent amount of shower gel or shampoo No kettle , beds were small, hard, furniture very basic, we could not leave the window opened because the balcony was accessible from other rooms. The area is horrible, full of louts shouting at night, drinking and vomiting on the pavement.

Ulemper: Cleaning should be done better and the staff should be more attentive at the guests requests. We asked to fix the TV that doesn't work and they didn't do it.
