Hotel was very close to subway Shangwan, and about 10 min walk to Central. Great view of the harbor from higher floors. Nice lounge area to sit and offers coffee all day. Good internet access. Breakfast was very simple (but was as advertised).
Very clean and modern, very efficient operation. They give you everything that you need, but only what you REALLY need-- clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep and do a bit of work if needed. Even a very basic breakfast. Free, functioning internet (which the major hotels chains haven't yet been able to figure out for some reason). They do NOT provide some of the things that the traveler has become accustomed to receiving, so be forewarned that you will get shampoo but no conditioner. If you have non Hong Kong/UK electronics, better bring your adapter, because they don't supply them.
Everything was great. Located walking distance to Macau ferry and Western Market. Can walk a total of about 1.5 miles to major high end shopping, Apple Store, Kowloon ferry and Hop-on-Hop off bus. Lots of food near. Beds are a little hard but not as bad as mainland China. Rooms are very small but efficient. Beautiful outside patio for resting, relaxing and eating the continental breakfast that is provided every morning. Staff was fantastic. Hotel is small with only about 10 rooms per floor. The elevator (lift) is slow but not really a problem.
location to subway was within walking distance rooms too small. offfering for breakfast was literally just bread with coffee or tea. I accidentally left a pair of shoes in my room. Asked if they would ship to me at my expense to Shenzhen, they would NOT dot it. poor service
Room extremely small with just a small shower, no closest just couple of hanger on the wall, no table, no chair, no space for your suitcases, just enter and seat on the bed, you are like sleeping in the springs!
i dont like anything, this was very bad experience, i never imagine that can be a B western hotel in any part of the world without closet or place to put your clothes, i really very disapointment because i travel to several countries around the world and i never see even a one start hotel without closet.
Hotel is very close to the subway station. Rooftop pool is a great added benefit! Rooms were a little bit small, but that is to be expected of in Hong Kong. Rooms felt dusty
The location was excellent. We used the MTR a lot and being so close to the stop was great for us. It was also close to the harbor and Soho which made exploring very easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly small, but in HK that is normal I suppose. The rooftop pool was closed. One of the reasons we booked was to take a picture from the roof so we were pretty bummed about it.
Location, service, price, room Toothbrush and toothpaste were horrible.
More space in the reason space
Staff some great English and seemed to want to be helpful despite nothing to work with. I did international business travel staying at all levels of hotels for 30+ years. Unquestionably this is one of the worst hotel facilities I've ever endured. Despite having prepaid for three days, we left after one night. Here's a quick rundown of the deficiencies: few elevators for a lot of guests = long waits and full when they DO arrive. First room assigned on no smoking floor stunk badly of smoke. Bed was like an old ironing board with a thin pad. Room so small (and I'm used to small in London, NYC & Paris) you had to take turns moving about. Nearly half the room ammenities listed did not exist. Returning after dinner, the room drains had leaked a sewage smell into the room. Sink drained slowly. Shower small as a tight phone booth. I'm thin and while bending to wash my knees, I shut off the water valve, haha!
For one person the space was fine and the area around the hotel was pretty cool if you're into exploring on foot. Pretty neat design as well. The only issue was the bed was really hard.
The cleaning staff and maintenance was up to par and done their job well. I was impress by how the cleaning staff wanted to service the rooms and most of the employees helped with my concerns and questions. The description of either full or double bed room wasn't explained properly on the website and I expected a Harbor View but received a Mountain View because they did not give me a double room on the harbor side for the price that I paid and wanted me to pay more for the the double bed on Harbour View which was not described in the website so me and my guest had to take the two twin beds and put them together to have one full bed and the beds were uncomfortable and very hard not being easy to sleep on. The description on the website said full or twin beds with no description on either mountain or Harbor View.
Easy access, on the H1 bus line for the Airport Express, getting to/from the airport could hardly be easier. The tram is a 90 second walk down Eastern street. There's a McDonald's a block away and a 7-11 across the street. The bed was fairly comfy and made up every day. The room was TINY!!!! I would guess we had 2 feet on either side of the bed and maybe 2.5 feet at the foot. There is no closet or any other place to hang clothing. The tram and bus stops are near by, but the nearest MTR is a long long walk. The hotel does have a shuttle but due to road construction it dropped everyone at the Macau ferry terminal.
Spacious room with a nice view very conveniently located near MTR and ferries for a good price. Helpful staff. When I went to my room after checking in, staff was repairing my door which took about 10 more minutes after I got there - should have been done before allowing me up to the room. Also one of the window blinds was broken and had to be repaired.
My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The space was well used but didn't feel tight or small. Great use of space. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. I slept great. The only complaint I had is that there were three elevators to service 30 floors. Occasionally I had to wait a long time for an elevator, and being on the 20th floor, stairs weren't really an option. But that's such a minor thing.
The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Sheung Wan MTR station. The staff are friendly and the room is clean. The hotel also provide a free shuttle service to and from the Hong Kong Station where you can catch the train to the airport. The breakfast area is a bit small and guests often had to line up for a table. Breakfast selection is quite limited.
Very new, very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Sheung Wan (the area of HK where the hotel is located) is very crowded and dirty but close to Central and the hotel is a block away from the MTR station. I lived in HK for 20 years and like the location but it may turn off casual visitors.
Clean ,fair location and the staff are helpful and polite
View cleanliness staff Slow elevator
Proximity to all forms of transportation such as MTR, buses, trolley, and ferry terminal which makes it quite a convenient location. The local mobile phone that was provided is also a bonus as well as the view of the harbor. Staff are friendly, nice and helpful. While booking the description indicated that an in-room washer/dryer is included, but it was actually not. The entrance is small and easily missed. Room are on the smaller side, but serves the purpose.
