Fordele: Nice pool area, excellent location and views. Nice clean hotel with parking. Huge breakfast spread. Overall nice room with terrace.

Ulemper: The shower is a bit slippery and I prefer it when there are 2 pillows per person with varying firmness. But generally those are minor complaints in an otherwise excellent stay.

Fordele: Great views from breakfast area and pool, spacious parking lot (both outside as in the basement). Clean rooms and very friendly cleaning staff.

Ulemper: Breakfast area felt like a refectory, especially at the busiest moments it could become very crowded, and at those times the staff could not follow up on cleaning the tables on time. Access to the wellness is also quite expensive: 18 euros for 1 hour.

Fordele: The hotel was good and clean but there is no beach and there is a bad smell from the algae from the sea. Great photos, good breakfast, nice pool and clean rooms. The sea view from my room was great!

Ulemper: Bad smell from the algae from the sea. Took some time for check in. The check in staff were not too courteous.

Fordele: Good food , very relaxing , extremely clean and tidy

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordele: The decor, really lovely the pool and sun Loungers The rooms with the ocean facing view and the Balcony was the perfect room.

Ulemper: They won’t serve you food at the pool - I didn’t understand stand this at all And the concierge did not know which restaurants were open and which were closed One restaurant recommendation was horrific and the second was closed, we gave up after that.

Fordele: Very modern hotel and very good breakfast that was included. The rooms were nice and kept nicely

Ulemper: No iron in the room. The beachfront was closed and the beach was ugly that was probably why it was closed. The pool area was kind of small.

Fordele: Wonderful sea view. Warm welcome from staff. Excellent getaway.

Fordele: I loved everything about the room design fridge cooker very well thought out.plus so many freebies from soaps to combs ect, and the well equip gym the roof terrace and jacozzi with hammocks

Ulemper: I would have like a free bottle water and a few tea bags

Fordele: Probably the best view over Playa d'en Bossa bay from any hotel, beautiful sunsets. But also a few minutes stroll from the heart of Ibiza Town.

Fordele: The facilities were great. The spa area for out of season was fantastic. The outside pool was also great albeit cold as we were end of October stay and outside temperature had dropped. But couldn't complain as pool open all year round. Could have done with cleaning more though.

Ulemper: The food in the bar area restaurant was poor and the chocie wasnt good either. We ate at the local Italian opposite which was really nice. Even the staff of the hotel was using the local place, shows how bad the hotel food must be.

Fordele: Kettle in room and room service (I arrived late in the evening)

Ulemper: Everything fine - there was a bit of a drain smell, but not the fault of the hotel.

Fordele: The breakfast was good. The view from the balcony was beautiful.

Ulemper: The shower wasn't very comfortable.

Fordele: Position was ok since the center was just at max 10 mins by car.

Ulemper: The room we got was not the room we were expecting (I paid for "see view", and it was not). At early morning was very noisy.

Fordele: The breakfast is so good and the room is very clean. The most important thing ist the view from the room is amazing. I want to choose it again when I come to Ibiza next time !

Ulemper: Some guests smoked on their balcony and that smells not good

Fordele: Great hotel, in a great location, with great service - hard to fault anything. I stayed on the 5th floor for 7 nights, on the street side of the hotel. The room itself was comfortable - spacious bathroom, safe, TV, kettle and tea/coffee, fridge and a comfortable bed, pillows etc. The room was cleaned daily and was always spotless after the clean. The cleaning staff were friendly and smiley and happy - which is always pleasing. Antonia, my room service manager was very very nice and always smiling and friendly. She was great. My room was on the street side - which meant the garbage collection truck could be heard each night at about midnight when collecting the garbage. This was only for 2-4 mins you could hear this. The window could be opened - which was good as I prefer the window open. My room did not have a balcony. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly and smiley too. I had 3 little hiccups during my stay which the reception staff actioned immediately (the toilet kept running, so they arranged the handyman immediately, the TV listing showed EURONews in English but actually there is no an English news channel but rather it is EURONews French - the reception staff arranged the handyman who contacted the company who provides the TV service who confirmed there had been a change and lastly, the aircon leaked water through the ceiling on my last night, so reception arranged for some towels and the handyman to have it looked it) - they were just so so helpful even with these little problems. The breakfast was plentiful and staff were again very friendly and helpful. The food options for breakfast were nice with both hot or cold. Fresh orange juice made each morning was the best. The pool and the property itself are right on the waters edge. The pool is a nice pool - not small, not big. The sun beds are comfy and there were plenty of towels. There is a heated indoor pool (small), spa and a suana - which I used when it was a bit cold outside. The lawn and the garden was refreshing too. The location of the hotel is right on the waters edge which means a 12-16 min walk to the restaurant area (you can walk up the stairs or you can walk around the hill - depending how you feel). Walking around the hill adds extra 5 minutes to the walk but means no stairs. There is a laundromat 7 mins from the hotel and there is a convenience shop opposite and there are 3-4 small restaurants right next to the hotel if you prefer not to walk. All in all - I thoroughly enjoyed staying at THB Los Molinos - it was a great base for my stay in Ibiza for the week. The staff (cleaning, reception, handyman and hospitality) were brilliant and always so helpful and smiley which is what I enjoyed the most.

Ulemper: It would be best to have an English news channel ie CNN or BBC or EUROnews English or Aljazeera English to choose from but this is only a minor issue - after all, I was on holidays so watching the news is not everthing :-)

Fordele: The hotel was in a very good location and It was easy to get around.

Ulemper: Staff was not friendly at all, Free parking is not an option at all as the current capacity is up to 8 cars, Breakfast is average The hotel needs renovation and it is definitely not a 4th star hotel.

Fordele: Hotel was excellent, lovely bedroom, very clean, plug sockets and mirrors all in the right places, bathroom excellent with superb shower. The staff could not have been better, they were lovely, very felpful and friendly. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Ulemper: Breakfast items ran short a few times and were not replenished.

Fordele: Husband, son and I were in Ibiza for a couple of days celebrating husband’s birthday. Chose the Royal Plaza for its location and facilities. It is in a quiet street, a short stroll from the old part of town and Dalt Vila. The family room was a good size and, although the decor is a little dated, everywhere is very clean and well maintained. The roof top terrace with bar and pool was very welcome after a few hours of exploring in the heat! We only had one breakfast in the hotel, which was good if a little overpriced. If you’ve not bought breakfast as part of your booking, then head to Nude cafe which is a short walk away for a delicious and healthy range of options at very reasonable prices and possibly the best coffee in town!

Ulemper: Service at the hotel was terrible especially at the front desk. I made my reservation through AMOMA.com and it was not clear on how the booking was going to be managed, the number of people and beds were not clear in the reservation. The older man that was at the front desk when we checked in was rude and did not help or offer any options to accommodate the 4 of us into one room. I understood the room only had 3 beds which wasn't a problem for us as we were only going to be in the room for a few hours before taking off to our next destination, therefore sleeping/using the beds was not an issue for us. He could've suggested that we pay for the extra person in the room despite having one bed short (we didn't care) but instead he was adamant that only 3 of us were allowed to go up to the room. We ended up having to pay for the 4th person when I checked out which we had no problem with but the old guy gave us a hard time and didn't offer us that option. The room was not what I had expected, maybe this is the standard for Europe but definitely not in the US. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Ulemper: nothing

Fordele: It was very warm in the room, the airco had been turned off for winter, nothing could be done about this. Not comfortable. You could not sleep with the window open because of the mosquitos

Fordele: Lovely hotel, only a 10 minute walk from the main shopping area, bars and the port. Lots of nice freebies in the room, like toiletries and slippers. Comfy bed and nice terrace!

Ulemper: The shower sprayed all over the bathroom floor as the protective glass wasn’t big enough or wide enough. This made the floor very wet, dangerous and slippery.

Ulemper: Could not get either bedside reading lights to turn off...so not very restful sleep
