Friendly staff, clean, easily able to find my way around.rented a cabana at the adult pool and had a fantastic server!!she was right on top of things.although I think the bartender overcharged us on our bill!!! But, overall, we all had a wonderful time.
Found old food in my room from previous guest. Employee who brought up my food stormed into my room and put my receipt in my chests to sign and snatched it from me after I was done.
The room was very clean and the staff attentive. It was nice to see that no smoking really meant no smoking. The tower in which we stayed appeared to be all non-smoking. Things about the pool: 1) it closes at 7:00 which seems to be too early-given it was above 100 degrees at that time during our 3day stay; 2 the music in the pool area was deafening loud.
Nice view from the 24th floor. "included breakfast" was only for 2 people event though we reserved a room for 3... and really basic breakfast in a 5 x 5 meters room separate from the main restaurant. Bad water pressure in shower, poorly designed bathrooms. The complementary parking is across the street. Its a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the room.
Staff was courteous and room was well kept. Towards the end of the stay some factors such as AC unit going out and tv remote not working properly reduced the overall comfort of staying at the hotel.
It was great that there was so much within walking distance and the outlets are less than 10 mins away if driving. The Fremont Experience is right outside. There were several things that weren't horrible, but more annoying. I reserved multiple rooms and the front desk person wasn't that helpful with trying to offer a solution to get them close in proximity. None of us could ever get the temp comfortable in our rooms, it's hot out there. The music from Fremont Street is loud when trying to sleep. No more DND signs for housekeeping. Okay? Food options weren't good....D Grill, iceberg lettuce isn't mixed greens. Overall the rooms need a decent upgrade, clock radios from the 80s, outdated furniture.
Close to highway 15, easy and available parking at any time come and go. It takes a very long time to validate parking everytime we return... Constant waiting in lines and waiting on staff to overlook the ticket... Took much longer then it should have twice a day.
Nice valet Bad beds smokey smell everywhere rooms were smelly air conditioning did not work
I liked the how friendly the staff were. The valet worked out awesome for me as I flew there to pick up my new 'stang. Every time we called the front desk everyone was incredibly friendly and nice. I wish there was a mini fridge in the room. I figured that was standard nowadays but apparently not. I would definitely stay there again. First time staying in that section of Vegas. I loved how tall the bathroom counters were. For me it was the perfect height. No fridge in room was our major downside. One outlet by window did not work and there was limited bathroom counter space.
Nothing Room, food
Room was next to strip way to noisy
I liked that it was right on the fremont experience, also. The prices of all the gaming was great! The staff I did talk to were great. No resort fees!! The reason I picked this hotel. Well, first of all once I walked in my room I smelled old lingering cigarette smoke! I was on the no smoking floor. The bed the pillows and even the A/C was spuing that awful smell. I found a old pair of underwear behind a chair. The ice machine on my floor was broken so I had to go up stairs to get ice. The noise of Fremont didnt bother me, but may for others.
Decor is extremely cute and modern along with the full adult playgroup with giant beer pong connect 4 and other games. Whole staff was very nice and helpful and the 24/7 restaurant next to the bar was really good
The pool was refreshing. The room was clean and hip and the shower was great. The bed was fine - not too hard. Great location if you're staying in downtown vegas and or wanna get into the Gold Strike without waiting in line. Our air conditioner broke in the middle of the night. It was 120 degrees outside! They were swift about fixing it, but then it kept going on and off every 15 min the rest of the night and my husband and I could not sleep. The air conditioner drowned out the noise of the party at Gold Strike (blaring music til 4am) but without the air conditioner you could hear music and noise, and we weren't even that close to the bar! The pool could use more lounge chairs - I only counted 4. This was the cheapest place I could find on a Saturday night without being a total dive, so you get what you pay for I suppose.
Quite, clean, and comfortable. The A/C kept the room cold enough that it even kept our sodas cold. No refrigerators and microwave in our room and people hogging up the ice in the ice machine by the main building. There should be ice machines in each building.
I tried to find outlets next to the bed to plug in my phone. Couldn't find any. There where two lamps next to the bed. I wondered what they were plugged into. Turned out nothing. The lamps where just there for decoration! Turned out you didn't need the lamps. There was a lamppost directly outside the window that lit up the room. It felt light late evening with all the light a out. I didn't realize this until it was late. I just went sleep. They need to provide curtains in that room.
