no ventilation in the bathroom
Check in was a little off, receptionist was not really happy.
Great restaurant. Wonderful place if you like chocolate. The hot chocolate in the lobby bar is a must. The free chocolate bar you get when checking in tastes great! Not witin walkin distance of the historic city center.
nothing was too much trouble for anybody, the receptionist even ran up 3 flights of stairs as we'd left our key at reception!
it was fun hotel with a twist to it everything had a chocolate theme nothing
The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and clean. Although the room was on the main road, you could hardly hear the noise of the traffic. There was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet (compared to the average Italian breakfast). The roof-terrace with swimming pool was very nice and very quiet. Plenty of parking space. A delicious smell of chocolate when you walk into the hall!
Swimming pool Very artistic decoration on chocolate sweet course
The chocolate theme - well done throughout The breakfast did not have anything hot to eat.
The room was confortable, clean, well located, with all services. very good choice and good relation value/ price Bianca a the reception was not welcome without being rude, but She does not give us a welcoming feeling. But the rest of the staff were nice.
The chocolate design of the hotel that you can find in your room, in the lounge, in the breakfast room, so everywhere. You can even have chocolate fondue for breakfast, mmm, yummy! :-) The bed was huge and super-comfortable!
1st night put us in a room next to elevator, very noisey. Made them move us next 5 nights to better room
The central location in town Too many kids in the spa jumping around in the pool. Very little space to relas after sauna.
Probably the nicest hotel in the centre and ideally located for a stay in Perugia itself The pool and sports facilities were closed for restoration.
staff very helpful, excellent location within centro storico. rooms are very large and all facilities in the hotel beautifully maintained.
location no breakfast included for such a high price
Location, building, decoration The rate for the internet connection was outrageously expensive. Should be a service at this level of hotels, or have a reasonable rate
View from the superior rooms was worth it and the rooms were very comfortable as well, interconnecting with each other. Breakfasts were great and the pool fun (though a little small for real swimming). Staff multilingual and very friendly.
Very helpful staff. Good location. Very nice room with lovely outlook Breakfast very expensive
The friendly and helpful staff. We did not meet anyone who wasn't helpful. This created a most welcoming atmosphere The restaurant was a bit too expensive - it would have been nice to have had a room providing simpler meals, especially for lunch.
god, stor seng: rummeligt værelse; pænt badeværelse; fri internetadgang; god restaurant; gåafstand tll byens seværdigheder lidt for megen trafikstøj om morgenen
Hotellets placering 50 meter fra rulletrapperne der fører lige op til byens centrum, parkering på hotellet, virker perfekt Morgenmaden var langt fra europæisk standard, der var tørt brød og en masse søde kager, ikke ælige det vi normalt spiser
this was the best quality Holiday Inn we stayed at in Italy. The bathroom was wonderful and modern. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Best breakfast as well. There was plenty of fresh food and it was really clean.I wish all holiday inns were like this!
Hotel was very clean and modern. Bathrooms were lovely! Gorgeous pool! Ideal location if you have own transport and happy driving to other towns as very close to motorway linking Perugia through to Tuscany. Would not advise people to stay here without own transport as very little public transport direct to hotel and taxi's very expensive to neighbouring towns.
Overall it was very pleasant and the rate was great (3 adults plus dog) There was only decaf coffee in the room They had no fruit tea at breakfast
The staff was very friencly and room was very nice with ample space. The restaurant was good. Hotel location was good for visiting nearby towns as well as Perugia. Hotel had ample parking. The breakfast was not good. The shower temperature was not consistant - ran very hot to very cold. Noise from other bathrooms was very loud. Room safe did not work properly.
Swimming Pool No parasols at the pool - necessary in such a climate
An unsurprisingly hotel, nothing excellent, nothing nasty. A good choice if you want to stay in the fringe of Perugia.
Very nice Hotel, Swimming pool very quiet and clean which is perfect for quiet holiday. Staff always willing to help and meet your request very fast. I work for Booking.com as a customer care and would recommend this hotel 100%. Look forward to my next visit at your hotel Not a bad word to say
Value for money and position of the hotel !
clean, modern rooms access from Autostrada was a little difficult
Modern good rooms, spacy bathroom, good breakfast, very modern hotel with fair prices
Very pleasant and comfortable. Excellent sound proofing in spite of the vicinity of the autostrada Better TV screens and international program selection
Nice pool, convinient location No WI Fi in the room which is ridiculous for business hotel
Good position for managers. Large and confortable rooms. A little far form the city centre.
Very good position. Comfortable especially for business men
It was very far from anything and the restaurant staff was rude.
free wifi , the comfort of the room,
The best hotel staff I have come across
Breakfast, simming pool, silence in the room Far from historical center of Perugia, absence of safety box in the room
The room was quite spacious and modern, gave a good feeling. The pool was great, however very crowded. Steamroom and Sauna were also great to have, but with very little capacity (max 3-4 persons).
The restaurant is very good and the rooms spotless, very comfortable and quiet. As I was travelling without a car, I would have liked the reception to be able to easily provide bus and train schedules to go in and out of Perugia. For a four-star hotel, a wireless internet access should be made available as this is now becoming the comon practice in hotel of this category all around the world.
The room was nice, and the bathroom was very nice compared to many European bathrooms. Hotel catered to groups. We were disappointed in the dining facilities--seemed like big, cafeteria rooms. We were expecting a more refined atmosphere for a 4-star hotel.
The breakfast had a poor selection. The gym was in no condition. The room was cold, while the heating did not work. And the the bathroom was dirty, old, and small.
Very pleasant staff and excellent value hotel. Complementary taxi to Airport was welcome!
The staff was excellent. We arrived 21:50 & the dining room was closing at 22:00 but the staff waited for us to eat. Also when I asked them to participate in a birthday suprise for my niece they were very helpful!! The bathroom, very old & poor facilities. Needs renovation
The hotel is quiet, although it's situated in a commercial area. Parking and garage available without extra charge. Both room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Some SAT programs were free. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but could be better. We appreciated the fact that the soap was in the dispenser, but there was no shampoo. Being a 4 star hotel, it looks old-fashion, specially from the outside. Bad internal insonorisation, consumed carpet, old hair dryer barely functioning.
Easy to find Not much else to do in the area on a Sunday evening
In general I was satisfied about the service. The classification of a four star hotel and the amount of service did not entirely fit together. I expected more of the breakfast, and the wireless was only available in the lobby and some rooms on the first floor. I would expect wireless to be available in all rooms in a four star hotel and conference center. I would classify this as a good tree star hotel and a medium four star.
restaurant is closed on Sunday
excellent dinner, cold beer, good bed, TV, nice receptionist no
Excellent room and restaurant. Very helpful staff, understanding that I do not speak Italian. Good free wireless network access. NA
Stort lidt anonymt hotel udenfor bymidten.
Nice room, good facilities The location is not ideal - its not easily walkable to the city centre.
The staff was very nice and helpfull and it came in handy that the swimming pool was open all day long
The food at the restaurant was very good. The rooms were clean and tidy. The location was a long way from the old town of Perugia and there was no shuttle service in and out of town. A shuttle service is required for those travellers that are in Perugia to site see.
excellent pool area. very difficult to find hotels in perugia that are 4 star with outdoor swimming pools!
Very calm atmosphere. Just 5 min by taxi from the Railway station, near the old city center (but you have to get taxi to get there), nice breakfast, comfortable rooms.
No Eggs available for breakfast. No poolside bar or food service. Expensive.
We booked Non-smoking room, but the hotel gave us only Smoking room. Could not sleep because of the noise from the road trafic. No shower cartain. The reception man was not kind, freindly at all. The facility is old.
Staff performance Poorly designed bathrooms
Very pleasant 2 day stay, staff most friendly and helpful, good base for trips to Perugia and countryside. Swimming pool. Hotel located outside city centre but easily connected by parksite/escalators.
Nice room and bathroom. The service was very good. The Breakfast could be better. The Hotel is too far away from the city centre. Decor should be improved.
We enjoyed very much our stay in the san clemente, very friendly staff, ideal location to relax, not for from perugia
excellent grounds for relaxation ref breakfast the additional charge for eggs disappointing as was the poor quality of bread (always hard and dry) - provision of a toaster would be easy solution
We stay here every year, the lawns and grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained. A very relaxing resort property. Management of the Hotel, staff standards of work and their Knowledge need improving
The place was absolutely wonderful. Great breakfast. wish we could have stayed longer.
beautiful grounds, friendly helpful staff, fabulous breakfast, connecting train to Perugia
Beautiful buildings and grounds, lovely setting, conveniently near Perugia, and excellent base for exploring southern Umrbia Could not get the internet to work properly
central location good breakfast large airy bedroom helpfull reception convenient for local transport
It was comfortable and extremely handy for Corso Vanucci Dull place. No atmosphere. Staff not very friendly. The buffet breakfast was cancelled on the first morinng so we had to have room service ineptly served with cold coffee, they forgot to bring sugar and knives
The location of the hotel right in the centre of Perugia was excellent for our city trip and access to local shops, bars and restaurants There was no bar or snacks facility in the public rooms of the hotel, or at least none were advertised.
The hotel is very well situated, right in the art of historic Perugia.
Convenient position in the centre of town Lovely breakfast room and breakfast Initially we were put in the wrong room. The staff did not know about the sites and opening times of places in Perugia!
The hotel was in a very central location in old town and access various sights was good. Access to dining was very good also and the restaurants in the area served wonderful meals The hotel is somewhat far from the train station and requires one to take a taxi.
Excellent location right on the main street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free internet in room. Nothing to complain about.
Great location for exploring Perugia. Staff was hit or miss. Some were curt, others friendly and helpful.
great position, clean, quiet. I also liked the 18th century flavour. 1 or 2 staff at reception who were smoking behind the desk!
Nice, pleasant, modern and yet a historical place Small hotel lift and some problems with parking but the latter is a problem of the city anywhere in the centre
Clean and nice hotel with a pool. Good breakfast. The location of the hotel was not very good, it took 40 minutes by bus to downtown Perugia.
This is a very well maintained hotel with good facilities, comfortable rooms and excellent food at the nearby restaurant. The actual location was not as good as described on the website.
Nice staff, room clean and comfortable, free internet connection, parking, great restaurant just next door... Change the shower curtain, its impossible to have a shower without transform the bathroom into a pool. (Note: Far from city centre if you want to visit the city and you don't have a car)
Most staff were helpful. The room was quite. Continental breakfast is as good as in most hotels. It is very inconvenient to travel to Perugia without a car. There is a bus from the hotel to downtown ( 1.5 Euro one way) but it runs only six times a day and the last one back to hotel is 20:20. Taking taxi after that means sometimes you have to wait for 1 hour (that was during a week of the July Jazz Festival and a big international conference). Dinner food at the hotel restaurant is of no comparison to those in Perugia at the similar price level. Wireless is available only in the lobby. Ethernet connection is available in rooms but guests need to have their own cables.
Beautiful views, large room, excellent bathroom, good air conditioning Some people may not like where the location is, as it was quite high up in the mountains and not central Perugia, though this didn't bother us.
The location is very good if you are not in hurry, even if it's not very easy to find it. A beautiful view, a very comfortable room, nothing to complain about. The restaurant was quite expensive and we didn't have a big choice, as we arrived at 21 o'clock.
Closeness to sights of Asissi and Perugia. Views from Hotel. Quietness and location Restaurant overpriced and indifferently staffed on first night, though vast improvement in quality and friendliness the last night!!
The view of Perugia from the hotel was superb. The setting at the top of the Colle was peaceful and beautiful. Because of its isolation, the hotel has only one adjacent restaurant which is quite expensive.
A very pretty rural style small hotel finished to a very high standard laid out in landscaped grounds Our double room was a bit small there was only one seat so one had to sit on the bed to watch TV. Being a small hotel it was understaffed, in the restaurant we waited 1 hour to be served and the food was nothing special, also unable to provide vegeterian meals. Unfortunately at the time of our stay it rained non stop and the hotel basic facilities became very apparent. Staff knowledge of English was poor.
It had a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We were the only non italians there during our stay which was nice! Most staff spoke some English. It's a super location in Umbria with views across to Assisi. The facilities are excellent and the restaurant very good. The room had some beatiful furniture and a very quiet air con! The pool is not for exclusive use by hotel guests. The facilities at the pool were super but the radio played loudly from 10-7 which is when the pool is open. It's not a pool for quiet relaxation.
Not too far from the airport. The hotel is essentially a B&B that wants to market itself as a luxury resort. The rooms were tiny relative to the actual site of the premise. The bathroom was dated and towels had black marks on them. The shower cubicle would not fit any size bigger than a size 6. Television looked like it is from the 80's and was slightly bigger than a shoe box. Sound insulation was next to none and the hotel restaurant hosted a dinner party which lasted into 1am in the morning with loud music. We therefore could not sleep that night. Had we known, we wouldn't have stayed at the hotel. In the morning, the breakfast was basic - good enough for a B&B but not a 4 star resort
The setting of the hotel Breakfast was very poor, just pastries, yogurt, water and fruit juice came out eventually, no meats or eggs
Restaurant on site with excellent menu. Beautiful setting.
Great staff, very helpful.Short walk to Lucca.
we loved everything there, atmosphere, staff, food, wind and of course Papa. He was just great
Beautiful grounds, loved the rustic fitout of the rooms. Quiet location is great for relaxing particularly with a pool on site. Staff could benefit from not dressing so casual
Nice quite place in the Italian countryside, warm atmosphere in an old Italian style, very clean rooms, staff available when needed, nice swimming pool. Hotel 30 minutes away from Perugia city.
very nice grounds, well-kept, quiet, having a restaurant on the grounds, since location is isolated driving instructions not clear (difficult to find)
Swimming pool, nice staff, good location to start daytrips
A great base for exploring the Umbria region of Italy, the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, the breakfast's were very good. The hotel is rural but near all the road networks, just off the Ponte Veloceppi exit of the E45 with easy access to Perugia. We were in Perugia for the jazz festival and would certainly stay at the Hotel Vega again. We did'nt like the pool rules but we think maybe the rules were made by the Umbrian authoroties rather than the hotel.
The very friendly staff, the quiet garden, the good food and the location near to a motorway exit. I would suggest that the Vega build a nice shady terrace at the back of the hotel between the bar and the garden/pool area.
The garden and pool were lovely and we had them to ourselves, though we were not that keen on having to wear swimming caps! Staff were friendly and helpful. Room accommodation was fine but basic, and the restaurant was better than expected, with an interesting menu and good quality food. Unlike the hotel itself, the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night, so it obviously attracts local people. For us it was extremely handy for reaching Perugia airport the following morning for a Sunday flight home after staying a week elsewhere. Our room smelt a bit stale and the air conditioning did not work very efficiently to get the temperature down. It feels more like a motel than somewhere you'd want to spend a whole holiday - which is fine if that's what you need, as we did.
all (room, staff, restaurant) no
prima hotel the swimming pool was not filled at the agreed time on june 1st.They filled it as soon as possible - even on a sunday- but we missed it during 3 days with beautiful weather and could only use it the lastr day of our stay.
We used the hotel as a centre for exploring Umbria and it worked well. The staff were a delight and the evening meals were excellent value.
Our air conditioning did not work the first night and we were promptly moved to another room, a bit of an upgrade, too. The pillows were very hard.
