Room size and location The room was a bit dated and the hallways, as well as the room had an unpleasant odor.
Each staff member was professional and very accommodating!
The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very clean. The hotel was also located in a very safe and secure area of Copa which is Leme but only 5 minutes walk to good locations in Copa. Also, the pool on the rooftop offered a spectacualr view of Copa. My room was to be an ocean view room but I only had a 18"X18" window that was not the best view in the world.
Very close to the beach, nice view at the top.
quite area and one block from beach
Unfortunately I lost my iphone on 14th November at the Golden Tulip Hotel. Please contact me if this has been found on firstname.lastname@example.org.
location noise, enormous, little acoustic insulation between rooms and to the outside street.
Perfectly located in a safe area one street back from Copacabana beach, but literally 1 minute walk to the sand. Staff very helpful, fluent english and really wanted us to enjoy Carnaval in Rio.
Great location Horrible service Dirty rooms Bugs Unstable Internet
nothing i stayed at room 1136 which is exactly beside elevator! It's very small. Bathroom very small and dirty, just try to look at the ceiling. I don't know about other rooms, but i wouldn't stay again at a standard double room (which i booked through this site)
Central location with public transport nearby. Street noise.
Location and breakfast You can see the time
Clean, great staff, great breakfasts, walk-in showers, air conditioning
This hotel is conveniently located, not far from Copacabana Beach and the price is proportional to the services offered. Cannot really complain in the end. The hotel is very noisy and the walls very thin...
The staff was helpful for arranging transport and giving information about the city. I had a late flight so asked for a late check-out and they did their best to help. The location, though close to the beach, can be intimidating for some. It is almost in the middle of a "red light" district. There were also homeless people sleeping next to the main entrance. The facilities are old and run down. All hotels in Rio are overrated and expensive but I must say this hotel can only be rated as a bed and breakfast for backpackers (though the price category is way above).
Very nice clear hotel, 3 minuts from beach, good breakfeast litte bit noisy, because location is close the to street
The location was ideal. Also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enormous quad room! Had to ask several times for our room to be cleaned and was a delay in housekeeping services.
I arrived too early (7:30 a.m.) and the room was not prepared. They gave me a suite in the 11th floor in order to not wait until the room is preapared. we stayed the 5 nights in this suite without extra charge! Everything was positive!
