You will need a car to get to the res. It is not a difficult drive but the hotel is located almost to the end of the road with a fabulous sea view.
The beach is nice, sandy and spacious. 1-No air Conditionning in the hotel, only ventilation, we sweat all night, u can't open windowns because of mosquitos. 2- Food of poor quality, not fresh, some cups have marks on them. 3- Staff not helpful. 4- you need to pay for the safebox in the room.
The AC is central system. They stop air conditioning system from time to time, and rooms get very hot.
We visited the hotel slightly off season, so the value for money was outstanding. Great location and variety of facilities. Unfortunately, we did not have time to make use of them. Good starting point for one-day trips to nearby sights if you are not in to relaxation on the beach. Food quality and variety is just sufficient, it's never a 5-star experience.
Simple rooms and bathrooms, v clean. Nice rooftop terrace and good breakfast. Exceptional hospitality. Lack of bedside reading light.
Staff and everyone in town are extremely helpful. They don't seem in it "for the money" though they have to make a living. Great! breakfast!
Everything! Guys were so helpful and friendly.
Managers and staff were immensely courteous and helpful. All of them made us feel at home.
The staff was very nice and helpful The room where I stayed was absolutely nothing special, there were other rooms that I saw while were being cleened and in pictures that were so much better, so when booking you should ask for one of the rooms that you see in the pictures here in the site
Good location and te staff
A quiet and interesting location overlooking the Roman aqueduct. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A buffet breakfast that was better than many more expensive hotels
the location is excellent, close to the train station, people are kind and well decorated room.
Ideal Location, Friendly and Helpful Staff and Decent Breakfast Nothing
Cheap, clean and friendly ! What else ? Oh yeah, the terrace on the roof for the breakfast and the evening drink !
great hostel kind of feel but still good hotel. cool view out the room to the castle and aquaducts. the BBQ dinner night up on the roof was one of the best meals i had in turkey. good to let us pay by credit card! plus, a tip; go to the hamam down the street - really friendly (to a first time tourist) and good price. bad shower
Great view. We loved the staff! Good breakfasts, too! It was nice to stay more in a neighborhood as we liked walking downhill to the center of the village ,
The staff was wonderful and very accommodating! It was a little hard to find.
Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations. Even closer to the little downtown area with lots of little shops and restaurants. The staff were super nice and helpful, with good tips on getting around. The rooms were modest but very decent and the roof top restaurant has an excellent view of the castle. The small pool and cold beer were the perfect way to relax after walking through Ephesus.
The colour of the ocean, the "resort" atmosphere and the remote location. Must not close the gate; it makes the gusts feel locked in.
The setting is heavenly, the staff delightful.
Charming location, excellent food. Stunning gardens and pool. Unique!
A special experience to stay in a old village house. The house was well maintained. The hotel services in the afternoon an excellent filled basket for breakfast the following day. The access road to the hotel is very bad. The hotel is not suitable for disabled and families with very young children, because it is build on a very steep hill.
This hotel is enormously charming, on a mountain top overlooking Turkish valleys near a beautiful village. The marble pool on the grounds is divine. The restaurant had fantastic food and service. Extremely charming environment with many small details to the rooms to give comfort and a sense of informal tasteful luxury. Very artful. Due to communication problems and also the hotel website being down the week we booked the reservations, our first reservation was misplaced. We were stuck in the countryside driving through Turkey without a guaranteed room until 9 p.m., causing much stress. Upon arrival, we were put in a second hotel 1 kilometer away, far from the facilities of the hotel, and of much lower comfort standard, causing more frustration and confusion. The hotel is also very hard to find -- one must not look for it at night. But the true charm of the main hotel plus the willingness of the staff to make up for human errors make me highly recommend this very unique hotel to others.
The Nisanyan Hotel is a unique place--tucked away on a winding mountain road, it's an Inn plus some lovely cottages. The grounds are beautiful- with lovely views of the little town below, fruit trees ripe for the picking (it was August), flowers growing alongside every path, a marble swimming pool, and the sense that you are at kind of a luxury farm. The sound of the donkey's braying, the goats, the horses, and the opera always playing softly in the dining area are some of my fondest memories. It's a very special place, and the staff are wonderful. Travelers who have trouble walking or climbing will not be happy with the steep paths.
An adventure to get to as it is high in the mountains outside of Selchuk and difficult to find. Winding, gravel, narrow road never to be navigated at night. The restaurant is quite beautifully rustic and very small as only a very limited number of guests are possible to accommodate in the few restored cottages available. The food was excellent and must be ordered earlier in the day. It is imperative for older or physically challenged individuals to know that it is extremely difficult to negotiate the cobblestones and unlighted gravel pathways especially in the evening and it must be done with flashlights. The cottages are very basic, but the setting is lovely if you can get to it!
Great Location, picturesque views, excellent food
Beautiful location; easy walk to village; stunning design touches, making the hotel look genuinely old with Turkish artifacts on display; attention to detail eg ability to use kitchen, free use of umbrellas, torches, candles in bedroom and bathroom; relaxed atmosphere
The cottages are fantastic- beautifully decorated with lots of old world charm. The restaurant is also lovely and the food quite good- we loved the breakfast baskets with natural honey and fresh bread which were delivered daily. Unfortunately so did the scores of local cats and dogs which invaded our patio to dine and dash- watch your food, folks!! It was great to unwind in the pool after a hot day in the Turkish sun. The owner of this hotel was obviously absent- while the staff was pleasant, there was no personal attention or warmth. If you're a light sleeper, the local village dogs bark all night long- don't forget your nyquil!
Overall this is a perfect choice for someone looking for a simple hotel in which to spend the night. There's nothing luxurious about it. Breakfast is small and simple which is expected with the price that you pay. The room is simple, clean bed, basic bathroom. TV doesn't work but who watches tv on vacation anyway? There's so much to do in this lovely town. Just walk outside and within 2 mins or less you're in the city center surrounded by shops and so much delicious food. Location is great! Great place to just sleep the night. Shower took around 8-10 minutes to heat up but after that is was perfect. Room decoration is not very nice. We stayed in two different rooms two different nights. In one room the air conditioning didn't work but wasn't too hot so it didn't matter.
