Location is good and overall clean but small rooms. They put us in the wrong room when we checked in so we had to go back to front desk. It was about 9:30 pm. Put all 4 of us in room with one bed instead of two queen beds.
It had a fairly nice bathroom, nice shower. Bed/mattress pretty firm which I like. Decent sized flat screen TV. Pool a little too small and not deep enough. Hot tub ok, but couldn't get the jets to come on. Wife had some back/hip pain after sleeping on mattress.
The staff was incredibly helpful and worked hard to make the stay pleasurable and satisfying. Shuttle driver John was very helpful and appeared to genuinely care about the transportation to and from locations and the safety of guests. The breakfast buffet was very good each day - more variety might have been nice in the long-run but overall it was filling. There are books in the room that discuss all of the local/nearby attractions that are near the hotel as well as a display of brochures for attractions on the first floor. Wifi connectivity was very spotty - did not work well in my room or throughout the hotel it seemed. The shower heads did not create an effective stream of water - pressure was good, just not directed in a useful manner.
The location was good. The rooms was dirty the blankets had yellow spots and had a smell to them. The tub over flood with water because it won't drain. One bed one had sheets no blanket or comforter. The bathroom only had one towel. The cable wasn't working in the room. Breakfast staff standing around only one person cleaning tables.
Michael from the staff was incredibly accommodating. For the price it was a great stopping point. Has laundry and everything. It's not the ace hotel or four seasons... Not a resort as it claims... But it's GREAT for the price. It's cheesy. (Indoor coy pond fountain before getting rid of the motel 6 vibe!?) It needs to be finished with renovations.
Beds were very uncomfortable
Very easy access on and off I 40 The sprinkler system comes on too early at night. It blocks access to one of the side entrances of the hotel. The timer needs to be changed to early morning hours when guest traffic is minimal.
I always pick 3.5 star hotels, this was nowhere close to a 3.5 star hotel. It was an older property that had been slightly remodeled.
Great TV! Sitting area was comfortable, beds were good
We didn't get to stay there because the roads were closed due to a blizzard, and we didn't get a refund or account credit. Not booking through Kayak or at Hyatt Place again.
Very clean. Lots of good choices for breakfast that fit teenagers liking. Quiet. Very friendly staff. Close to a variety of eating establishments and easy access to freeway.
Easy check in Did not find it clean, next door TV could be heard from our room
Very child friendly
Location was right across the street from the Uptown shopping areas. I was initially put in a room that was not very clean and the heat did not work. After two visits from the maintenance man and the temperature in the room going down to 59 degrees, I was moved to a nicer, cleaner, warmer room.
Location is good. Facilities are worn and shabby. They are in need of upkeep and maintenance. Overheard a staff member telling another guest last major upkeep was 2011. It shows.
Price Because we didn't arrive until 3:00 am Albuquerque time, I think we shold have received a discount for that day.
The check in and check out process was fast, staff was friendly, the rooms were ok. No pool, walls and carpet in the hallways were dirty, no extra pillows or blankets.
This facility has a acceptable breakfast. The room we stayed in (144) was altogether good. You get your money's worth. I didn't like checking in. We waited 45 mins before they could check us in. But it was the 4th of July weekend. That could have been the reason. The last thing I didn't like was it was very warm when we were checking in and sitting down for breakfast the next morning. But again, our stay was altogether alright
Nice room, clean Personnel were lazy, incompetent, and truly didn't give a damn.
Breakfast, pool, room was large and comfortable Our tiller kept leaking when u would use it!
The hotel double billed 2 different cards. No one of authority was there to help me solve the error. I spent a considerable amount of long distance roaming dollars together with a huge amount of stress to no avail. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again!!!!!!! Tony Needemyer
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Give them a smile and they'd hand you the moon.
The A/C worked. Everything. The room itself wasn't as advertised. The outlets and smoke detector were ripped out of the walls. The furniture was broken, missing or nastily stained. The "queen" bed was a double bed. The carpet was stained with who knows what. Crack heads knocked on our door several times throughout our stay. The "free breakfast" is a joke. Take your money elsewhere!
Beds, Breakfast & Courtyard Too many children running around >o<
Leaving Worn out and banged up elevators and furniture. Breakfast with empty items or cold. Desk staff with lukewarm personality. A huge expansive hotel that was very worn. Not the level of expectation from a Fairfiled and certainly not from a Marriott...this appears to have been another hotel building converted over at some time....Not a style of Fairfield.
Quiet, comfortable, near restaurants. Wish they had morning coffee but I was just an overnight guest - for an extended stay would be fine here - it had equated kitchen
cheap, coffeemake, but no coffee packets/cream/sugar in the rooms (have to ask for them at front desk), shady characters hanging outside the hotel rooms when I was there (they were staying at the hotel, just very shady).
Although it was on the cheaper side, this hotel was surprisingly clean and stay-able. The hotel was in a sketchy area, but conveniently located next to the highway.
It was average. To be expected Carpets do need a shampooing, no closet space rooms were kind of small. Getting in and out I parking was a hassle. Because of the way the road is. Have to make a big u turn if coming from the North.
Clean and recently painted but very dated. Tube television, flat pillows, small rooms and smelled odd. Wouldn't stay again as there are too many modern hotels at the same price.
