For the time and season near Disneyland even tho we weren't staying there for it, was a great place to stay. Rooms were good - AC Worked Well - Room had Micro and Fridge+ Staff was very helpful and nice. - They had security which made me feel safe. The pool was awesome. Its close to a lot of helpful areas. Security. Although made me feel safe it felt awkward. Backdoor entrance wasn't 100% unlocked when you used your card. you had to wiggle it. Not a Con But If you don't like a crazy morning breakfast, don't stay here. They do keep it clean however. KIDS
Staff was very friendly and willing to help me and my boyfriend right away. The room was very spacious and very comfortable and overall clean. The walls where kind of thin so we could hear what was going on on the room next to us, and the carpet looked a bit dirty.
After reading reviews for this hotel decided to give it a shot. It is a great room for what you get as far as value. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. All in all it exceeded our expectations. Also extremely close to Disneyland which is the purpose of why we chose this place. If we had to complain about one thing it was that some of the items were not fully fully clean ( I.e. the lounge chair had stains and the lampshade was stained as well). And that's me nitpicking but everything else was fantastic.
Free breakfast, clean rooms, attentive staff. No disneyland shuttle
Clean, free continental breakfast None really
Breakfast Easy online check in No direct shuttle
The sheets weren't changed on our beds we found hairs on the sheets when we took off the comforter
The bed was very comfortable and freshly made each day. The bathrooms were clean and had freshly washed towels every day.The friendly staff was responsive to all requests. Breakfast was great. Good coffee. Great location for us to visit our family in Anaheim each day. I felt safe and secure while we stayed at the Comfort Inn. I think that is time to start thinking about replacing carpets. The whole place would feel a bit fresher and more welcoming.
Too noisy as we could hear traffic on highway.
Good overall AC noisy, hum could keep light sleepers up
We really enjoyed the kitchen. With a family of 7 and vacationing for 7 days, it helped in our overall costs. It would be nice to have a DVD player hooked up to at least one of the tvs.
Walking distance to Disneyland unless you have small children. Hotel and breakfast were great. Upon check in, only one person at desk and not a big variety of TV stations available, Otherwise it was fine.
It is a very clean and friendly hotel. I would stay again I didn't like that I couldn't watch the angels game. They only have a few channels you can watch from. They need more options to choose from.
Our whole family agreed that the breakfast was the best we have had away from home .... I personally liked the little store in the hotel and the room set up Parking!!!!!!!! And the fact that we had to take two different elevators to get to different parts of the hotel
I liked that it was close enough to walk to the parks. The staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean The bed was hard very hard! Hard to sleep on . I could hear kids all night running above my room, very loud, the old time air conditioner on the floor was so loud when it came on It would wake us all up! Only one area to get ready in the morning which is in the bathroom , daunting with girls. When we first arrived there were picketers out front, and were there every morning. I asked hotel staff about it and they seemed ok with it. if these things were updated the hotel would be great!
Everything was perfect. I'm a person that has a complaint for everything They didn't have a shuttle to Disneyland
Bed didn't have a comforter, also it was very hard.
The location was perfect--around the corner from Disneyland. The room was upgraded to a suite, which gave our family of 4 (2 older adults, 1 young adult and 1 teenager) more room to move around in, during the very little time we spent in the room. Microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator were a plus. Accommodations were basic, breakfast was free but not tasty, and we didn't like the pitch for attending a time share talk.
I spended 5 days and I had a great time. Good breakfast, nice lobby, good size rooms, good for family of 6, two queens and a sofabed. I would come back. During my stay they were fixing some of the halls walls and it looked like a mess but I understand that when they finish It's going to be nice and clean.
Washing machines in 3rd and 4th floors Location is not to far to drive and not to close to walk to and from Disneyland ,shuttle is expensive 3$ per person per trip
Good price for location and proximity to park. Super hot in the hallways.... Room AC worked fine but the hallways need AC.
The location is great. Disneyland, several restaurants and a CVS are all within easy walking distance. The booking website listed "free continental breakfast" as an amenity. It is not free. The hotel charges for breakfast and daily parking. The "free" WiFi was terrible. The room also could have been cleaner; there was still a sock on the floor from a previous occupant.
Spacious and friendly
Location is awesome Moved to 3 rooms. All AC vents had mold
Location is excellent Wi if on worked for few hours out of my 3 day stay. It was reported on several occasions to no avail.
The hotel was very close to Disneyland Resort and I was able to walk right over to the park, so that was extremely convenient. The price was comparable with other hotels in the area. Staff was very friendly at check in. Parking was not included in the cost of the stay, which at a comparable hotel in the area, it is complimentary. They also charge for their shuttle to the park, where it is complimentary for some nearby hotels. Also, no included breakfast.
Nicely updated. Having a k-cup coffee maker was nice Front desk was friendly and quick Would have been better if the room had a mini fridge. Maids started vaccumming the hallways at 730-800 every morning not a nice way to wake up. No free breakfast.
I liked that it was clean and the room was pretty nice. It was everything I was hoping for. I had never heard of the this hotel before but it was within walking distance to the Anaheim Convention center and alot cheaper than the Hilton. I was worried as to how it would look, or if it would be clean enough, or worth the money I was paying. But all my fears were put to rest and I enjoyed my stay. I didn't like having to pay for parking at a Hotel I was already paying for but it was par for the course, with all hotels in the area charging similar fees. So no biggie I guess.
Disgusting dirty carpets, dirty sink, very uncomfortable bed, shower head not working. Very unfriendly staff. I travel for business every week sometimes to 2 different locations in one week. This by far was the dirtiest hotel with the most uncomfortable bed and the most disgusting bathroom and dirtiest carpet I have ever stayed in. Do not stay here Everything
very convenient location to convention center room décor is dated, pillows were lumpy/old, breakfast buffet was not good. price for value was high for expensive tradeshow hotel rate
Price Front desk interaction was very uncomfortable
Restaurant Quietness Proximity to the park No free breakfast 14 dollar per day parking charge
The hotel is super close to Disneyland without ridiculous prices. Also, it has the convenience of a motel but the luxury of a hotel and is really clean with a nice breakfast each morning. There is rarely parking available on busy days and therefore I was told by staff to park in handicaps, red fire zones, and other places where I didn't feel was safe to park my car
Not too far from the parks, shuttle service was available right outside the front desk, multiple pools and hot tubs, gym facility if needed, included breakfast. All major key points that make me want to stay here again. Just a few little things that I didn't like. None are deal breakers nor did they make me want to ever come back. First of all, I have a dairy allergy and a lot of the breakfast options had dairy in them. The eggs and potatoes both had cheese in them and you couldn't exactly take the cheese out. It's 2016, dairy allergies are very common so you'd think they'd be a little more considerate. Second, we were there for four days and they only cleaned our room once. Then when they actually cleaned our room, they made the beds but then left all the pillows in a pile on one of the chairs and left one of the throw blankets bundled up and tucked into the night stand. Not sure why that was a thing but it happened. Lastly, and this is mostly me being knit picky, there are only soda and ice machines on the first and third floors. We stayed on the second floor unfortunately and it was a minor inconvenience to to have to walk all the way to the middle of the second floor then go down the stairs and back again just for ice. Not the biggest deal I just don't understand why it was designed that way.
Crazy close to Disneyland, the staff was really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Had to pay 10$ a night for parking extra which was a surprise.
We arrived EARLY and they accommodated our early check in thanks to an empty room. The room itself was clean me organized. The sheets were fresh, the mattresses soft and supportive, but the bathroom was tiny and the rugs a little worn. We enjoyed the free breakfast, though the selection is rather limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, had answers for all my questions. Even the people staying alongside us were pleasant and non-disruptive. Having stayed in the other best western's around, this by far was the best experience. I honestly have no negative reviews.
Breakfast Price Location
We stayed at this hotel while in town for Disneyland's Half Marathon Weekend. Overall, great value for the money, clean, and proximity to Disney Parks was especially convenient. The A/C unit is a bit loud, which makes it hard to sleep or hear your tv.
The location was fantastic as it's across the street to Disneyland California Adventure. The rooms have been maintained well or have been remodeled recently and include a decent sized mini-fridge. Free continental breakfast was nice to have. Parking was easy. Hot tea b and pool were nice and had a great view of nightly Disney fireworks. Overall it was a good value. The beds were substandard. They were like sleeping on a trampoline. The pillows were so thick and dense they were uncomfortable. But the comforters were thin, not much thicker than sheets. The hotel was very busy, and so the breakfast was a disaster to access and they were out of half of the items early. The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my heavy bags to the third floor. You can hear people walk past your room or talking outside the room.
Room was clean Separate shower and sink area a plus Included breakfast was awesome.
I liked the continental breakfast. It had a wide variety but they were constantly running out of things so go before 8. The parking was a nightmare.we ended up parking at a nearby hotel one of the nights.
Bed was comfortable Had to pay $10 a day to park and they didn'thave enough parking spots. The ACTUAL didn't cool the room. The complimentary breakfast was crowded ,place was dirty and the food was awful. Asking help with direction was pitiful
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Stuff was super friendly. Love the free breakfast, it really helps you save money if you have a full breakfast you can last until a early dinner. Only a few min walk to park... Carpet was a little outdated.
Walking distance to enter the park via the Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney. Good, basic hotel room to stay in close to the parks. Checked in at 11pm, walked all the way to the room with a tired wife and tired 4 year old. Room key did not work. Walked all the way back and the staff did not apologize at all. Just made a new key and said "you should be good." Small but infuriating detail. Breakfast time is a zoo.
Very comfortable. Room was well equipped. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. Don't miss the free breakfast! Great place especially for last minute reservations. Only thing we didn't like was the construction area but when it's finished it will probably be a great addition to the hotel.
The workers were using power tools outside our room at 8 AM
Everything was good
10-15 min walk to disneyland Ridiculous parking rates, online room rates given by expedia not honored at hotel, incompetent staff, black hair all over bathroom, room smelled like cats, covered walkway balcony's to rooms shook like they were going to fall.
hot breakfast included cleanliness of pool had to pay more local taxes at check-in right next to freeway construction on building next door
There were homeless people eating breakfast in the breakfast room, made us a little uncomfortable
Good breakfast. Walking distance to Disneyland main gate. Price was fair considering I didn't have to pay to park at Disneyland and was able to save money at breakfast by not having to take the kids out to eat. Room was a little on the small side. Did NOT appreciate the hidden "resort fee" of ~$12 that the clerk could not explain to me what it was for!!
Very clean and closer to disneyland than we have been before Being on the upper floor
I've been here 3-5 years ago . They just recently remodeled and updated they're rooms and faculty. Courteous staff and friendly. If your with a family or looking for an inexpensive budget motel that's slightly better than motel 6 it's the best for your value and definitely close to Disneyland just 0.2 miles away it's 10mins walk. My only complaint is that the rooms are small and when I walked in my room it had a musky old smell. My guess is that it's the AC or the carpet has been previously wet and was not properly dried. Other than that for the location and price it's not that bad. Also it's $10 parking per car use to be free. +Bad musky moldy smell upon walking inside my room +old carpet +parking not free $10 which not too bad b c everyone charges 15-20$
Small pool, but very nice. Very clean facilities. 10 minute walk to Disney. Inefficiency of front desk. No shuttle transport to Disney. Thin pillows. Surrounding construction.
I liked the location of our room - away from the freeway and pool. It was nice and quiet. I also thought the room was nice and I loved that a microwave, fridge, and safe were included. The front desk staff were very friendly and kindly accommodated my request for a box and packing tape when my daughter and I ran out of luggage space. This is pretty minor, but it was challenging to get extra towels. I wrote a note one day, and left a tip and got two more towels, but the next day there were no extra towels. I requested a couple more at the front desk and they said they would let housekeeping know, but 45 minutes passed and my daughter and I were so tired we couldn't wait any longer so we went to bed. It wasn't the end of the world, but I wish the front desk had had some extra towels they could have given me (since I came in person) since the front desk staff were so helpful for other requests.
No elevators they put my one year daughter and I on The second floor and I had to use a stroller to walk back-and-forth to Disneyland. How was I supposed to get the stroller to the second floor? I asked them to put me on the first floorand the gentleman told me it was too late to get a room on the first floor
Great loacation and staff was outstanding Noise from fitness club could be heard every morning beginning at 5:00 AM. Restaurant prices were a bit high for goods received
The Hotel has a great location and the staff is great. But, it's getting old. The bathrooms are getting run down and broken. Shower heads and drains are broken. Rooms are showing signs of age. For the price, compared to Vegas, they really ought to be updated. The Hotel has been getting away with it because of the convention center and Disneyland being so close that it hasn't affected the capacity. Yet.
Nicely appointed room with modern furnishings and exceptionally comfortable beds; clean, well-ventilated, and overall just fabulous. Very nice hotel and excellent service. Nothing--everything was wonderful!
The housekeeping staff was very efficient and really tried to accommodated my needs. Having to pay for Wi-Fi (I think it was $12.95 for regular service and $14.95 for high speed). And for parking: $24.00 per nite. I'm guessing this might be the industry standard in this area, but what a shame
compared to other Marriotts, this one was just ok
Close to Disneyland and it's a nice area No body soap or toilet paper was in the room and had to pay to park and pay for internet
The hotel, staff, location, facilities and basically all needs were very well addressed and made the stay wonderful. I couldn't have found a better place to stay to make the trip to Disneyland a great experience I really have no complaints about any aspect of my stay at the hotel
Great staff! Very eager to help. Great location to Disneyland. Very expensive food. Not suited for families because of the high cost of food. Nice pool. Clean lobby, pool area and dinning areas. Cost $41 to park your car in self parking! This for 1 day & a half of parking! Absurd! $17 for a hamburger that wasn't all that great! All the food was way over priced. Got a New York steak that was soo charred on the outside and way over priced...$55 with NO side dishes, no salad. Rooms smelled terrible! We changed rooms 3 times. The 3 rd room was better, but not by much. Their $150 delux room is a very small box of a room. Very cramped! No bathroom fans either. So when you take a shower, the bathroom fills with moisture to the pint that it's dripping off the walls! And then the moisture fills the main room when you open the bathroom door. No wonder the rooms smell badly!
Wonderful staff, nice room, beautiful pool, and gorgeous lobby and grounds. Starbucks should be open later and the pool hours should be extended.
The balcony was a cool area. The heating/cooling unit was EXTREMELY loud! The room itself was okay, but to charge guests that are staying at the hotel $25 per night for parking is pretty ridiculous and excessive. Furthermore, this hotel still charges its guests for internet acess!!?? This is the first time I have been charged for WIFI in California is the past 5 years. Get with the times, Marriot. The hotel wasn't that great to begin with.
We were a couple wanting a king size bed, which we reserved and the hotel gave us a room eith two doubles and would not make any accomodations for the fact that they allegedly did not have any king beds. So we opted to go somewhere else.
Great staff nice rooms. The engineer who replaced the air conditioner was awesome did a great job to save us on a hot weekend. The air conditioner broke had to be replaced at 10 o'clock at night. Parking is expensive.
The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Disneyland. It's also very close many dining options. The area felt safe and I was not concerned about sketchy people while walking around. Our room was supposedly a non-smoking room. Not sure if they put the sticker on right before we arrived, but the room wreaked of cigarette smoke and the bedding had multiple cigarette burns. The room even came with an ashtray. Additionally, this was the first hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't have an iron.
Room was great, very modern, comfortable, and lots of value for the price. Beds clean and comfortable. Ample close, no-hassle parking, for free. Excellent, professional, super-friendly, helpful, accommodating staff at every interaction. The advertised room was ready upon arrival with no-wait, no-hassle check-in. Great location and price. Quiet hotel - no highway traffic noise or other loud guests. Surrounding neighborhood seemed safe, even late at night. Thoroughly satisfied, will be back if taking another trip to Anaheim! Pool/Jacuzzi closed at 10pm - I had wanted to go for a late night soak.
Price. Wireless was down in my area (paid for). Bugs in the room. Water was cloudy. No ironing board.
Distance from Disneyland; modern decor in rooms; free coffee
We stayed at another Motel 6 in Buena Park and it was dirty, were given bloody towels, and the beds had roaches in them. Thus one was clean. Close to the park and near by restaurants. Small bed, small room, and noisy guests.
The hotel smelled like urine. our bathroom sink was clogged and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. Our door keys quit working every night. The bed was unconfortable
I go to Disneyland 3 or 4 times a year from out of town and I stay at a different motel/hotel each time. This one wasnt bad. The room was clean but no soap at the sink. The beds slept comfortable enough. Staff was friendly. Just a little pricey. For the same price i could have been closer to the park and had a microwave and refrigerator.
Staff was great, location was super convenient!
The staff were very helpful, polite and efficient. They were willing to answer all my questions and eager to make sure we were comfortable. The gift shop was packed full of merchandise neatly organized and clean. The hotel was close, to shopping and restaurants and theme park parking lots. The beds didn't have box springs which made the mattress a little too firm for our tastes.
Friendly staff So limited facilities
There was a fridge in the room. There was free wifi access, and free sattelite TV. It was close to disneyland and the bus stop was literally right outside the front door to the lobby. The room was in disrepair. There was mold in the calk around the top of the shower. The shower pressure was very weak. The toilet was too short, it felt like I was sitting on the floor. There was not a microwave in the room, which made it really hard to use the fridge for anything other than cold drinks.
Walking distance to both Anaheim Convention Center and also Disney Land. Hotel is a stop on ART, so it is easy to travel to local attractions and shopping. There is also a pool and sauna. Good Value for a moderate price. The room did not offer a blow dryer or hair conditioner.
Rate was reasonable, terrific pool, bar and free computer facilities. Walking distance to disney land.
Loved: The pool/hot tub (open 24 hrs), the restaurant K'ya is delicious, the lobby is very nice, the hotel staff were pleasant, there are 2 shuttles that go to Disneyland, our beds were very comfy, overall I feel it was a good value. Hated: The size of the bathroom, they charge $10/day for parking, it's a little too far to walk to the Disneyland entrance, the room was not decorated and looked like it needed to be remodeled (in their defense I think they are in the middle of remodeling but hadn't gotten to the 5th floor yet).
The location was idea and the staff could not be more helpful. A great place to stay and I would highly recommend.
The restaurant was very good and very inexpensive. The bed was comfortable and the large, flat screen TV was quite nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I believe that my only complaint would be that the (complimentary!) wireless internet signal was a bit spotty. There were a number of times that I was either unable to get a signal or it was so slow that it was unusable.
A Very Pleasant Stay . A Good Restaurant . Very Pleasant and helpful Staff.
We celebrated our 40th wedding in July of 2005 with 38 of our family & friends from around the country--our annv date is 8/15/65 but because of conflicts we had it in July--this is our 45th and we celebrate in Oct because of a wedding in Laguana Beach where we stayed in a sister hotel. The traffic is noise is constant
Location is walking distance to Disneyland. Advertised 24 hour pool was closed without notice on website during our stay. Because this was the main reason I stayed here over other nearby places, I requested a voucher for breakfast, which I was given and appreciated. I was then scolded by staff for taking the wrong, hot breakfast and told that i was only entitled to bread and fruit.
I thought the lobby and the hotel restaurant were fabulous! The restaurant had a wide variety of food all $10 and under. The quality of the food was amazing, aned room service was very affordable. This along with the price of the room made the whole trip a treat! The pool looks very inviting though we didn't have time to enjoy. Our room's air conditioner was a little old and loud, but it did nto disturb us enough to complain.
The two room Suite was ample room for our family of 6. There were two queens in one room and a foldout sofa bed in the other room. The vanity was separate from te shower/toilet area so we were able to share without too much difficulty. The restaurant offers a hot buffet breakfast for 12. and 7. if you have continental. This was convenient before Disneyland. Shuttle available to the parks for $4.00 a day per person, $1. for kids under 10. Many restaurants within walking distance including Carls JR, Buca Di Beppo. The second floor pool and jacuzzi were also nice.
Great rooms Parking fee a little high. $15
I like the chocolate pie which given by the hotel，we have a long trip before check in，we are very hungry. Our family all like the room， so clean so nice
Parking is very convenient. Rooms are very spacious and clean Nothing so far!
Friendly staff Way too expensive!! Not quite! Small rooms!! Wifi was a joke!!
We were a large group and rented three rooms. The suites were perfect to socialize in after a long day at Disney. The shuttle was frustrating so we ended up walking to and from Disney.
Second year staying at doubletree. Cookies at check in, business center where you can securely print boarding passes and other documents like tickets to attractions for free, right across the street from Dennys and Carl's Jr's if you get hungry. Very comfy beds. Price is a little up there compared to other locations in the area but I rather the hotel environment over motel. Pre check in with the hhonors app was completely useless. They ended up putting my 2 rooms on the complete opposite sides of the hotel instead of next to each other like I asked for.
The employees are very interested in making your stay as pleasurable as possible. No Wi-Fi connection and even that was charged.
Staff was very nice. I misplaced my parking pass and they issued me another one without hesitations. Guests should not have to pay for parking, and at such a steep price too. It was the same as amusement park parking.
The staff was wonderful in getting my family"s rooms close together which was great. Restaurant was friendly and food was good but took a long time to get.
Close to Disney park
Nice hotel. Clean, spacious room Too expensive for what you get compared to hotels nearby that are actually closer.
Room was comfortable, shuttles every 30 minutes Hallway carpet was in terrible condition, very dirty
The carpet in the garden tower is filthy.
At no point during my reservation process was there any indication parking was an additional fee. I looked on the hotel's website, my confirmation, etc. and did not find anything indicating I would be charged a parking fee in addition to my room rate. Room was extremely outdated. Bathroom was the size of a small closet. Room felt muggy regardless of the temperature. Room refrigerator did not work well. During check-in, front desk staff was extremely kind and friendly. Can't say the same during check out. The man at the desk seemed inconvenienced he had to help us. Restraunt staff told us they could not accommodate the size of our large extended family as one group for dinner (there were about 10 of us) because they didn't have room in their EMPTY restaurant, but could accommodate by seating us at separate tables. Our initial waiter was rude and wouldn't wait for all of our group to be ready before he started taking orders, so half of our group got their food and was done eating before the other half got their food. Breakfast trips to the restaurant were fine as breakfast is offered buffet style. Overall, if I ended up at this hotel again, it wouldn't be the end of the world. However, I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to stay at this hotel again. I feel there are better values for less money in some of the surrounding area hotels.
Close to disneyland Room smells
They had excellent staff and building was very clean inside The price of the restaurant inside was too pricey for a family
Loved it! Very clean, staff friendly and close to Disneyland!!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The description and details about the facility were inaccurate. The room was run down and in need of renovation. I would never stay here again.
The hotel had Princess Corrine come in to tell stories and do face paint for kids. It was nice for our kids to interact with her after a long day at Disneyland. The free shuttle is nice and accommodating, but make sure you get in line 10 minutes before the shuttle arrives to guarantee a spot on the shuttle. The hotel is a bit worn down and outdated. The customer service is average at best. The staff does not go out of their way to make your stay any better, but if you need something, they will try to put on a smile and at least acknowledge your request. The rooms are a little on the small side and feel dingy. Our headboards were worn out and flaking, the ac only has one setting (on or off), and the bed springs squeak a lot from years of use. Parking is $14/night and the breakfast does not offer complimentary breakfast with your stay. Next time, we will pay a little more to stay at a different hotel closer to Disneyland.
I liked the free shuttle. That was great. Bathroom was small, cracked sink, it took forever to get hot water in shower. Called ahead for early check in. Rooms were not ready until after 5 which is well after suggested check in time. I'm still mad about that.
The shuttle to disneyland was convenient although I was disappointed to be charged extra for parking in the hotel lot. Toilet overflowed in the middle of the night on our first night there. Water was running out into the hall. The staff was helpful about getting us a new room, but they did not offer any additional compensation for the inconvenience.
I like the rooms they were spacious and nice. Though the furniture was a little run down beds were very comfortable. I had to pay for parking 14$ a day!
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It amazing to have a free shuttle to take you and pick you up from Disneyland and is only a couple minutes away! That breakfast was included in our stay and was kind of pricey for a family of 4.
Clean, reasonably priced, and a short 0.70 mile walk to Disneyland property and several restaurant options. Front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff are all very friendly. Free continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, but it is definitely a bonus to hold one over until lunch time at the theme parks. I have stayed here 3 years in a row and plan on returning for future stays. Can't complain about anything other than to forewarn others to not click on any links to the Knights Inn in Anaheim- was unpleasantly surprised to see I was charged a 1 night no-show fee even though I never completed a room reservation transaction with them...another reason to stick with Super 8 on Katella!
I like how its conveniently located next to Disneyland, it's not a far walk to and from the park. The breakfast room is nice too, it comes with the room and you can make your own waffles. The only 2 I didn't like is the internet has bad connection, it takes forever to load a video. And the TV doesn't have a port to put in your chrome cast devices in it.
It is a comfortable and non-expensive hotel, near to disneyland, where you can get walking. We even got wet on a ride on Disneyland and we return to the hotel to change our clothes and then we return, all walking. I think they need to set up some tables where you could have your breakfast. We had to have our breakfast on our room.
There was trouble finding a parking spot since we arrived late in the evening. Bathroom was small and floor needed to be better cleaned. A/C was hard to adjust
Good value for money. Clean, friendly.
not bad for the price
Location, location, location East car rental drop, airport shuttle , right close to LAC, Dennies right next door. Staff were perfect.
Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean room, excellent value, but was charged differently than quoted by about 45 dollars. The walk to Disneyland is a hike, especially late at night after a long day. The breakfast was gone by 7:45am. Power went out and they didn't offer to move us, just took forever to fix it. Blackout curtains don't close all the way - light comes in the room all night and in the morning. We had a ground floor room - the noise from upstairs was unbearably loud - worst part of the trip. Was offered no receipt or explanation of charges.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool and the cleaning staff was very good. The location was excellent! Overall a great place to be in Anaheim.
Location was good. Ants in the room. Stain on the bed. Dirty carpet. A/c too noisy. Mixed up my check in for someone else.
Close-ish to Disneyland Breakfast Held bags before room was ready and after checkout Shower did not get hot, tub kept plugging Thin walls Loud parking garage next door Sketchy area late when Disney closes, around a dark corner, bus stops, alleys Not as green as claimed. Continually changed out towels even when left hanging.
clean, close to disneyland and good price.
Pool Bed was uncomfortable. The hook behind the door was broken, the water sprinkler in the room look broken. Very basic hotel. WiFi didn't work. Then I was almost charged for it after I had been talking to staff about not being able to get it to work. Cable wasn't great. There is a store that sells food. We ordered a bagel and it was hard.
We had a great stay! We had the same maid each morning that greated us in the hallways. Construction was going on next door but never heard anything because it was on the side with a view and that was the opposite side than us. Starbucks in the lobby! The only bad thing was the outlets in the room were spotty. You had to wiggle it just right to get to work and one morning I woke and my phone was dead, so missed an hour at the park because of it. We also had a ding in my new car's fender the first night there, inconsiderate driver. Might be worth valet parking. But not hotels fault. Just wish I knew who did it. Other than that everything was very nice!
Location. Quality not inpar with other Sheraton hotels
Location was great. The shower could use some updates.
Location to Disneyland. The A/C did not work in the room, as soon as we walked in the hotel room there was a strong weird smell. We had to leave the sliding door open to vent out the smell. Not to mention the ants roaming freely in the room. I also noticed a flaw in security, as in I cannot recall seeing any on the premises. One is able to walk through the hotel like nothing, I did not feel safe at this hotel.
Great hotel, cleanliness was great, staff were extra nice, for a big hotel close to Disneyland it was not overly crowded Hotel has no shuttle to Disneyland, this is probably the only one downside
Close to Disneyland The in house restaurant has aweful service. I went when there were less than 10 customers and never had water or even saw our waiter. Other tables were requesting their waiter. Not a good experience. I wont stay here again.
Very convenient to Disneyland. Clean, comfortable hotel, felt safe there. The cooling/heating system can only do either air conditioning or heating. I was cold and had to get a space heater to heat the room.
Room was spacious and clean, pool area was great with a bar where you could purchase drinks and snacks. Small balcony over looking the palm treed pool area was nice in the evening The hotel is an easy walk from the Disney parks, downtown entertainment and the Anaheim Convention Center.
We liked everything from parking, check in, room and the distance from Disneyland. A/C didnt work and mini fridge didnt work. My sushi was ruined and my bottled water was hot. The room was hot but we were so exhausted from 12 hrs of walking that we slept. A bit disappointed for almost $400 for 2 nights.
Breakfast and rooms were great. You can cross the street right after breakfast to get onto the shuttle for Disneyland in the Disney parking lot! Exactly what I needed I have no complaints at all!
Beds were way comfy but walls were thin and you could hear outside noise. Rooms are older but had updated decor and were clean. Pool was small but better than nothing I guess. Decent location to disney parks
It is in a good location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This isn't our first time staying here but may be my last because of the parking The parking was awful I have 2 small children and having to walk so far was horrible. The shower in our room was bad as well. It was a handicap bathroom and the drain was held together with silicone and kept flooding the restroom. But that's all I can really complain about.
Room was spacious enough, easy to navigate. Air conditioner was strong, great at keeping the room cold. In room fridge held a lot of waters and snacks. Close to all Disney attractions. Parking goes quickly since the hotel shares a lot with the Hyatt Place next door. Room had a strange musty smell that disappeared when the AC kicked in. Lighting in the bathroom was meager, one lone light which gave off little illumination.
Staff was great asked them for recommendations for several things and nailed it on everything!
Proximity to everything and the price. The ice buckets looked like hospital plastic bins. The furniture was worn and old. The tile/grout looked dirty. The bath amenities...oh wait, there weren't any. The breakfast wasn't very good at all but the toast turned out great.
Great breakfast and very efficient breakfast staff
Loved the bed and pillows I booked an accessible room with 2 queen beds, 2 months in advance. When I checked in, the room I booked and paid for in advance was not available.
Incorrect description of this MOTEL. It should be a 2 star cheap Motel. Room window open on the walking corridor (I must applaud the person who took the pictures or probably Photoshop them sure did a good job but the actual view from this hotel is absolutely crap!) There is limited parking and they share parking structure with Hyatt. Shuttle from Disneyland will NOT drop you to the door to Cortona hotel but they will be happy to drop you to many hotels next door like Clarion next door, Marriott and Sheraton.
Free breakfast drinks. Staff Not so clean. Noisy.
We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It was clean and spacious. The only complaint is after we gave my son a bath, the water didn't drain. Other than that it was great.
The staff was very nice. I did not have a bath tub in my room. The room smelled of mildew and the stand only shower had dirty tiles. I turned on the fan to try and make the smell go away but it did not help.
Kyak never sent my reservation to Eden rock. I was stuck in Anaheim on a holiday weekend and they said they couldn't find me a room. Not a fan. Still waiting for my refund.
Room was newly renovated, clean and very spacious No breakfast offered. Looks like they have the facilities and offered it up at one point but now it is empty unused space.
The eden roc exceeded my expectation, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. I booked this hotel last minute and while they are still under construction, the rooms were clean and had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. Would go back again. Construction
Close to Disneyland you can either take the ART or get a taxi which we did and found it was easier and cheaper. The rooms are newly remodeled, so it's very clean, the parking lot is under construction and parking is limited. The only complaint was the maid left our door open and we when returned the door was open ajar and light was on, thankfully nothing was taken but wasn't happy about that.
Very modern decor. Newly remodeled. Clean. Curtains fully block out sunlight for late sleepers. Location near Disney Resort is perfect! I would definitely stay there again but I'm guessing once the construction is finished the prices are going to skyrocket. Currently under construction which is why the rates are so cheap. No phone in room (due to construction) Pool wasn't open (due to construction)
This place was very clean and the staff was very nice.
Nice modern renovations. Big room. Microwave. Fridge. You could hear EVERYTHING above you. Not sure if it was a guest room or maids area above us where they stored things but was very hard to sleep with all the commotion. The rooms our friends slept in were oddly shaped and cramped and they could also hear a lot of noise above them. Very thin walls! Found a few hairs in the shower and on the bed when first checked in. Could be from the maids. Hopefully not from the previous people who stayed there. Not worth it, especially after the long walks home from the parks and then you cant sleep because of all the noise. No safe in room or breakfast place or sundry to buy waters.
The price for the room and location was great, we were able to walk to disneyland. It was clean but they are in the middle of a renovation and it looked like they used bargain workers. The only things i didnt like was that due to the renovation the pool was closed and i think they should tell you this before you make a reservation in case its something your looking for during your stay. Also their cable is no good, there was only about 5 channels and the wifi doesnt work in the rooms even though it says on their website wifi in all rooms. But for the amount of time we spent in the room and for their price it was a good stay.
Clean hotel. Walking distance to Disneyland. Would stay again. Be sure to get a second floor room, the floors are thin and you can hear everything from the room above you if you are on the first floor. It was bad enough that we switched rooms.
I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago because of the location. Came back again for the same reason and I enjoyed their newly renovated hotel rooms. It was very clean and I highly recommend this place!
Close to Disneyland but not walking distance. They lied or were at very minimum were less then truthful about having a pool and a free breakfast.
Our room was sleek and modern, just like in the pictures. I didn't mind the construction in the lobby, or throughout both parking lots. As read on other reviews, there was no phone connected yet BUT they have now updated the TVs with more than two channels! :) I am more than statisfied with my stay, considering the awesome price and the newly renovated rooms. It is also a very close walk to Disneyland if you cut through the backside of the Grand Californian. LOCATION PERFECTION! Yes, I was skeptical about staying here after reading all the negative reviews, but Eden Roc is now going to be one of my top choices. With free parking, clean "wood" floors, and a friendly staff, every penny was completely worth it. The beds and upstairs floors were noisy (I had a ground floor room), but I was expecting it. Also, the office entrance is located in the further parking lot.
The rooms are large, the price was cheap, the proximity to Disney was great, and the shuttle that arrives every 20 minutes for Disney was even greater. The best part of this hotel was the staff - they told us about the shuttle and even let us keep our car parked in their lot the day we checked out so we didn't have to pay for Disney parking. Great view for the fireworks too! Totally worth it. All furniture is mediocre, bed is nothing special, pillows and sheets are cheap. Our hair dryer was broken, and one of our lights wouldn't work. Pool area is tiny. Breakfast is skippable.
The staff was very helpful. They were available whenever we had questions. We were able to purchase the ART shuttle passes at the front desk. The shuttle picks up right in front of the property. They offer free wi-fi and free parking (depending on availability). The bed was huge - big enough for 2 adults and a small child. The bathroom was spotless. The refrigerator was a great bonus. Tons of channel options on the TV. Perfect for our trip to Disney and for the price, we were highly satisfied. The smell in the lobby was very strong. They should really deodorize it.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful , a little far from Disneyland after a long day of walking otherwise a very nice stay
Great location and close to Disney. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Beds were very hard and noisy. Every move woke me up due to noise.
The staff was very friendly.
I loves the remodle and appreciated the wood flooring instead of dirty carpet :). The bathroom was also nicely done. Everything was great aside from the beds. They were some of the firmest mattresses I have ever slept on which was a bit uncomfortable.
Loved that it was located about 10-15 minute walk from Disneyland entrance. Lots of restaurants close. Starbucks is right next door. The Disneyland fireworks show is 100% viewable from the hotel. No need to stay at the park late to see it. I usually stay in higher priced hotels, so this was a 'stretch ' for me to book this place. I was skeptic. However, I was pleased with the room. It's not fancy and it's an old hotel, but they've done an adequate remodel job to make it comfortable and appealing to the eye. Again....it's not fancy & it's old, but we were there for Disney and hardly spent any time in the room. If we had planned on being in the room more, I would have looked for a higher priced hotel with more amenities. This is a good value for the location and the age of the hotel. The staff were amazingly friendly and nice. I wish they had and iron and ironing board in the room. However, they did have a frig, microwave, hairdryer, and coffee maker. The towels are extremely cheap quality and feel a little like sand paper. Lol.
Amazing staff. Couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Located right next to Disney Land. 10 minute walk to front gates. All the rooms have just been remodeled when I was there. Pillows were to thin for my taste.
They remodeled all the rooms and they look amazing! Really nice place to stay and the manager was great. Really great for the price! Beds were a little stiff, not bad though. We could also hear the people next to us being very loud.
Proximity to work location Filthy room, mold, mildew and rot on most wood in room. Window facing major road in shower, thin walls, broken remote, old loud air conditioner, small black bugs under plastic cover on bed, overall unsanitary conditions and loud neighbors.
Room was cute, spacious, grounds are beautiful and location is prime. Shower pressure and temperature were fantastic. Room needs updating. While cute, every panel of the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There was a makeshift cover for the fuse box that was falling off the walls with exposed screws. Windows opened to exterior building walls. There was only 1 nightstand by the bed, no conditioner, shower cap, or tea by the coffee pot. General condition of the furnishings were old and need to be replaced. They overcharged me for parking, normally $20/car/night, and couldn't figure out what the problem was after they had already charged my card on file. Parking is a nightmare and is small and cramped.
Can't beat the location, an easy walk to Downtown Disney/Grand California. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Nice staff and facilities.
Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
The room was not clean. With hairs in the shower of previous guests and I found a cockroach inside the room
Our spacious room and hardwood floors. Limited amenities. The parking fees and taxes. 27.00 total with ridiculous fees!
The online company I used for the reservation didn't get it to the hotel in a timely maner, and therefore check-in was delayed
Everything was great Clean rooms, great staff, price was just right, even the food was good ........ unfortunately there was a couple smoking pot at the stairs and the smell went inside our room I don't care if they smoke but I think they shouldn't done were there's young children around....
The ambience is very nice , and a great resort style pool area to recover after a day at Disneyland! Asked for extra towels and never received them
Courteous, professional, friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Weak wi-fi in the back rooms (10208) section.
My kids of course loved the pool It did say it was across the street from Disneyland but it was behind the park and was way to far of a walk for my grandfather just to get to entrance.
Friendly staff, walking distance to Disneyland Room quality and cleanliness subpar, basic amenities (rollaway bed, pack and play, wifi beyond limited speed on one day) all required an additional charge. The appeal of the price, location, and attractive online photos quickly dissipated once arriving to our actual room. Better off paying a little more for a premium hotel in the area which ends up being around the same, since they won't nickel and dime you the entire stay.
