Had a room on the 9th floor, a suite for $128 plus. Very nice. We had a problem with toilet late at night and they were on it within ten minutes! All hotel staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Nice bistro and bar on location. Location location location. And no service ( shuttle) to get around. Too far out of town to walk to places. Expensive from airport to hotel.
It was in a great location and the lobby area looked great! - Room was dirty - Stains on the sheets and furniture - Room had a VERY bad odor to it. - Room was a lot smaller than other hotels in the Branson area. It was not what I was excepting for the price I had to pay. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that are cheaper and have a better room to offer.
Price (thru Kayak) Very noisy...people running around above us. Also, parking is sometimes hard to find in the lot.
Great location on the strip; close to shopping, restaurants, etc.. Hotel looks orderly and modern compared to some other smaller hotels in the area. Clean rooms; what you would expect from a Radisson experience in larger metro areas. Nice to experience this kind of hotel in Branson. Parking lot is on a hill and very steep - be careful getting in and out, and if it's in the winter or icy/snowy, park behind the hotel instead to avoid problems.
Sleep number beds. Size of the pool.
SMOKEY We have stayed at Radisson several times over past 15 years and have always have had a good expierence. This time was still okay, but we could smell smoke. We are both alergic to smoke and are more sensitive than most. Not a high level but enough we both were plugged up by morning. Seemed stronger near bathroom area. Possibly someone smoking in room nearby or coming through shared exhaust vents. We didnt complain because it was only 2 nights and the first time weve had any problem with the Radisson. We will try them again--great location for us.
A so so stay , won't be back. Having to walk up a hill from the parking lot in 30 degree temps. yes I could've paid $20.00 for valea and also could of paid $20.00 for a microwave and also could of paid $20.00 more for a small fridge, these are items all other good hotels supply for free, the worst thing is there is no fan for circulation in the bathroom. the lock on the sliding door didn't work, lukewarm water in the bathroom sink.
The place was very clean and the stuff where all willing to help you. I would stay at this place anytime I was in Branson! Pricy
Beautiful, well appointed and up kept property, excellent staff. Overall fabulous and would recommend. Grille food was slightly dissapointing.
The hotel staff, especially the lady in the Sweet Shoppe were very enjoyable and attentive to anything I wanted. The way Kayak did the booking. I needed to cut the trip short one day which I found out before the end of the first day and could get no refund or adjustment from the company Kayak used or the front desk. I will not use Kayak to book a hotel again. In fact I was told to deal directly with the hotel if I wanted to eliminate confusion and getting stuck like this.
As A motel General Manager myself, I was very impressed with the property and appreciated the Excellant customer service that Angel provided.
The hotel was clean, had a modern vibe, and was in a great location. It was VERY noisy, with delivery trucks all night, and especially the long, loud train whistle right outside the window twice in the middle of the night. It also was extremely hot, and the thermostat was unable to be changed.
Very helpful staff Friends said the bar outside window was loud until 1:00 AM
Location of stores was superb! There could be more microwaves.
The rooms were very nice and roomy! It was also very clean! You couldn't turn down the temp in your room and we were all hot while sleeping. So I called the front desk and they had to override the thermostat. Apparently, you can't turn it down lower than what they allow.
Location, hot breakfast, and location.
Worst experience ever Worst experience ever
excellent breakfast comfortable beds lounge with entertainment and very nice pool.
We liked how close it was to everything on the strip. It was old run down and bland. There was not any comforters on the beds and the beds were old and hard. It felt like going to grandmas house from the 70's and the decor had not been updated.
I liked the overall theme of the lodge; rustic mountain lodge. The lodge was outdated. The carpets in the common areas were largely stained. The door to our room was not installed properly or the building has settled; I could see people passing while in my room which means, they could see me as well. Although our room was tidy and appeared clean, with all the extra paint and wall paper on the walls; it gave the illusion of being unkempt.
We liked the comfortable beds, indoor pool, location, and free breakfast the hotel needs to replace their carpets in the main areas. The room could have been a bit cleaner, but it wasn't bad. The bathroom floor needed mopping. Pool was cold.
Great location Although it was free, the breakfast was lacking
Not only was it a beautiful hotel, but it the rooms were a lot nicer than we were expecting. Our room had a mini-fridge, microwave, a table for two, a desk, and chair. We loved the jetted bathtub and the bed was super soft. There was a stench in the hallway that made it less appealing. The stench in the elevator was even worse and it seemed that the elevator floor hadn't been cleaned really well. Also, while loved the jetted bathtub, it apparently was leaking. My husband had gotten a call that it was leaking while I was soaking in the tub. We didn't know where it was leaking from.
Location was good. The lodge feel was nice It's pretty run down, carpet stains, Ac broken, hot tub out of service, water temp would spike
I liked the location. It was convenient for the shows and attractions. Our toilet was not clean and we had to clean it before using. We were on our honeymoon and couldn't be intimate because there was a family next door with kids that were loud and we could hear all thier conversation so we knew they'd be able to hear us the walls were that thin. Great honeymoon! At checkout I noticed they had double charged my account and asked to have it fixed. Was told it was and saw the credit to my account. The next day I had two more charges to my account and when I called the hotel no manager was on duty and the lady on the phone was rude. At this point I've been charged 3 times for the same stay since I've gotten no resolution.
Rooms appeared clean. Good access to the rest of Branson. Elevator situation is horrible. Staff does not police guests so it's frequently loud and overwhelming.
The only good part was the in-room jacuzzi. It seemed new and worked well. Noisy hallway. Kept waking up to noisy heating/AC unit. Bed was horrible...felt several springs. Towels were torn and odd smelling. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, but old and depressing...needs a remodel. Workout room had only cardio...free weights anyone? Breakfast was awful...rubbery eggs, stale cereal. Just about the worst coffee I've ever had. We also stayed at Chateau on the Lake and Hilton Promenade. There is no comparison. Those two are SO much better, the Hilton being our favorite of the three.
trying to get into the hotel we were told to come back in an hr after driving 10 hrs to get there and then when we came back in an hr we were told to come back in another hour. the first lady was extremity rude when she spoke with us. the second lady was nice the first lady also was rude to my father when he asked her a question. I will NEVER stay there again when i pay for something i expect to have polite service it really isn't that hard to check someone in and out no need to be crabby you are in customer service, and if you don't like to serve the public leave. also the elevators were super slow and we just walked up the 5 flights of stairs to our room. breakfast was on the top floor so again slow elevator and walk back down.
check in was easy, awesome view on 9th floor, bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable. The shower had very good pressure and breakfast was great. We got a call shortly after arriving to see if everything was satisfactory. there were no towels in the room so my husband went to the front desk to ask for some and they said they would bring some up and they never did. We had to dry off with hand towels and eventually went to the pool and got some from there. It was the 4th of July and it was packed which was expected, but one of the two elevators was broke so it took forever to get to and from our room. checking out took an hour because we ended up using the stairs due to the one elevator being so overly packed and stopping at each floor.
Huge jacuzzi tub in king suite was wonderful. Breakfast is always great. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. This is our go to place to stay on Branson.
Liked the cleanliness and decor Beds were comfortable, breakfast had a nice little selection. Only negative is that they sectioned off an area on the 9th floor where you get complimentary breakfast, it was the very best view Therefore we had to sit where you couldn't see a good view What a waste. Those were the best tables in the house but sectioned off with yellow tape
There are not enough elevators for the number of rooms. There was always a long wait to get into an elevator cramped with people. Parking was down a huge hill with tons of stairs. The hot water never stayed on. The warmth would only last a few seconds at a time. Then it would be minutes before it was warm again.
We liked the view. There were ants in our room. We used the pull out couch. The mattress pad was dirty and there was no other bedding in the room for the spare. we called the front desk at 9:30PM. The staff brought just one sheet and no pillow case.
Easy of location. The breakfast was terrible if you like real food or anything resembling real food.
Breakfast was Great. Staff were Great. Nothing
It was a very quite room for a very busy 4th of July weekend. Great breakfast, nice pool. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a good location, perfect for our trip to Branson.
Clean and safe, excellent value for my money.
Clean and updated room, nice bathroom, ok location Beds weren't very comfortable and the tv was a bit small
No blinds in windows, just sheers. Sunlight came in bright and early.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Barrington around the 4th of July weekend. The hotel had a very good price for Branson around the holiday weekend, a good $30.00 less than others close to the strip. While it isn't on the strip, it is close enough to get there quickly, and the desk offered information and tickets to some of the local attractions and shows. The service was excellent, the rooms were very clean, there was a pool, guest gym, and laundry. The continental breakfast was more like a full breakfast buffet and was included with the room. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Brandon. We really enjoyed our stay there and will stay there again in the future.
Rooms were nice and clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was great! Pool area needs an update (hot tub was in poor shape and jets were pretty weak)
We really enjoyed the free breakfast. The maid service also did a really good job. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We purchased our show tickets at the front desk with ease. Nothing, wow, I can't believe it, lol.
My wife and I stayed right after the first of the year for three nights and booked the room for $171. The catch was it had to be a double and not a king. The hotel was very clean and the room was very nice. Breakfast was included and it seamed to measure up to what I have found at most Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn's that I have stayed at. The location was not on "The Strip" but only a couple miles from it. However, it was not in the country. There was shopping and restaurants close just not quite the variety a few miles over the hill. There was a heated indoor pool that we did not use and Jacuzzi which we did. It was clean and comfortable. There was a small fridge in the room and the tv offered a lot of cable channels. We would stay here again for the amount of money we paid. I almost hate to say I didn't like anything, but there were a few things that could have been better. The fan on the heater could not be set to stay on all the time. So when the heat went off it got quiet and when it came back on it was noticeable to a light sleeper. If I could have set the fan to be on constant I don't think there would have been any issues with sleeping. The bed was not as comfortable as some of the big box hotels I have stayed at, but it was not uncomfortable either. My biggest complaint would be the bathroom. While it was clean, the vanity was only about 3 feet wide. If you are like us, you have a bag, at least one, with all your bathroom items. There is no room for this bag on the vanity unless it is extremely small. The other thing was the shower head was low. I am average height, about 5' 11" or so and I had to bend down, way down, to wash my hair. In conclusion. If you are looking for luxury you should probably go somewhere else. If you are looking for a clean hotel in a safe area at a reasonable price and can deal with a few small incidentals this hotel is for you.
Great time had by all 5 of us. I'm all about a clean and comfy room with great amenities like the pool and breakfast and this hotel had it all.
This hotel was very nice for the money. The staff was awesome. I will be staying here the next time I'm in Branson. It is off the main strip which is nice for traffic reasons but there's not much near by (walking distance) for sightseeing or shopping.
Nice place easy access Staff slow to respond on check in
Nice, clean place to stay. you can tell there is a lot of people around, but it is very quiet
Pools, hot tubs, slides. Staff was helpful. Lots of activities for families. Beds....the mattresses were just awful. None of us slept. Rooms were small; no sofas or chairs.
Upscale, great value, kids loved the waterpark. Would have been better if the hotel offered suites.
The motel and staff was very nice First night stay didnot get any sleep because we was on first floor
Good location and clean. Extra, nightly cost for internet and for parking, on top of nightly rental.
Nice big high-end room great view, best location in downtown Branson. Security: someone attempted to beat through the door of the room next to me at 2AM. Not being informed that I would have to pay for overnight parking. Great nice room, but not an exceptional value.
The Hilton Convention center was SO convenient to everything. My husband & I took our young son to ride the Polar Express train. We were able to walk right out of the hotel and be exactly where we needed to be. The hotel is located right on Branson landing so you have lots of options for restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Beds super comfy! We would definitely stay here again & definitely recommend!
Quiet and comfortable A little out of the way
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The location is Great, just off the strip and easy to get to. I was a little set back on the price, just your average hotel but priced to high.
Staff was attentive, breakfast was adequate- nothing fancy. Beds were comfy. Location was great for us.
Nice rooms with fridge And microwave
Staff very friendly and room clean. Did not have any issues
Beds were comfy. Staff was friendly upon checking in.Rooms were very quiet. Took 20 min. to check in because they said computers crashed and lost my reservation made 5 months ago. Resurfacing parking lot and could never find a place to park in front or rear.
The bed was comfortable the breakfast was good I wanted a smoking room and didn't get one
Great location for shops & shows Breakfast very busy, bus loads, but check front desk before you go down. Crowds Cleared in a few minutes. No problem.
Renovated rooms were clean and comfortable. Walls are thin and you could hear children running in the hallway and the breakfast crowd in the breakfast room so we couldn't sleep in.
The hotel has been renovated and looks brand new. It is clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. This hotel actually exceeded our expectations after reading some of the reviews. It has a good location, 1 block off the "strip" and within walking distance to Walmart and Price Chopper grocery store. The breakfast is standard fare for this price range hotel. Nothing fancy, but adequate. The shampoo/soap dispensers in the shower should be removed and replaced with actual bars of soap and individual shampoo and conditioners. These dispensers make the hotel feel "cheap" when actually it is a very nice hotel.
For the calibur of hotel facilities, there were no shampoo ornlotjons in bathroom.
Our rooms were very clean and the staff was excellent. We felt very safe. The beds were a bit hard and the bathroom was tiny.
The staff was friendly and helpful . The hot breakfast was great, the scramble eggs superb..just like Mom had fixed them. The location was was central to everything we wanted to do in Branson on the 76 strip and Silver Dollar City , too! And it was right across the street from the Tanger Discont shopping Mall where we went shopping. It was just a great weekend at Branson and the folks at the Grand View inn have sure got it together for a wonderful place to stay. We plan to stay there again. H.T. Naugher This is a small thing..if they could leave a couple more coffee envelopes for the coffee maker (one cup maker) it would be a little more handy. But it wasn't a problem, I just went down stairs and got a cup of coffee for my wife took it back to our room and whe she got ready we went down for their great hot breakfast. H.T. Naugher
Clean Nice Staff Comfortable
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and quiet. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Branson.
My family stayed here over spring break. It was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and the pool area was very clean and comfortable. Very good place for a mid-scale motel.
My husband and I, along with our 2 college-age children, stayed here on a very busy July 4 holiday. The rooms were very clean, very comfy, and very quiet. The shower was tall enough for my 6'6' son. The desk staff were really nice and answered all my questions about local fireworks festivities. Discount tickets to local attractions were easy to purchase in the gift shop, which also had great prices on souvenirs. Breakfast was better than most, and the steakhouse next door was quite satisfactory. Did not use the pools, but they were clean. Good location. All in all, very pleased & will stay here again!
My husband and I brought our 2 girls here for a nice weekend. We had not stayed her before, we had stayed at a different hotel (won't mention the name). We wanted something better with an indoor pool and indoor access. The girls loved the pool andit was very clean. Rooms were a good size, and beds comfortable. But we didn't spend much time indoors, however the time spent there was very comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. We might stay again.
We thought that this was a hotel, it is not - it is a motel. We also thought it would be far west on the strip, but you must be on 76 to access it - you can't from back roads. This makes left turns difficult. The room was clean, the pools were nice, and the breakfast was good. But it still is an expensive motel!
it was the best stay ever right in the middel of a bunch oof good stuff first time staying there
The motel is a little older property but fairly well maintained. It is very well located in Branson. Can get to just about everywhere fairly easily. Room and bathroom were clean which was the most important thing to us.
I stayed here last summer for five nights... my two daughters loved the pool. Breakfast is good and room is clean. We are returning in a few days and I am definatley staying here:-)
Great place to stay. Conveniently located to many attractions. Great service, very clean.
The stay at this Best Western was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the pillows are wonderful. Used the laundry facilities while we were there and that room was also clean and machines were in excellent condition.(Not dirty). Due to an advanced commitment, we had to leave this motel and stay at another one( bad experience) but checked back into this hotel when we got a chance. Will definitely stay there again.
THIS IS WHAT I EXPECT IN A MOTEL. CLEAN, VERY CLEAN, MY ROOM WAS COMPLETELY UPDATED WITH A NICE SIZE FRIG FUNCTIONAL TV NICE LINENS CLEAN CARPET AND MODERN BATH AND DRESSING AREA. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH BRANSON TAKE MY WORD THIS IS THE PERFECT CENTRAL LOCATION. WHEN I RETURN I'LL STAY HERE. THE BREAKFAST SPREAD WAS ALSO BETTER THAN MOST.
We usually stay in our RV so we were not particularly looking forward to staying in a motel. This Best Western made it very OK. The place was clean without that motel smell, the staff was helpful, it was quiet and the location was great, along with the complimentary breakfast. If not in our RV, we will stay here again.
Friendly staff, good location. Small rooms, but that is due to the age of the hotel.
The location was convenient. The room was clean and updated. The free breakfast had better-than-average variety, including some fairly healthy choices; we were satisfied until lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and hard-working. Also, the manager and a maintenance worker helped me solve a minor problem with my car, which was certainly beyond their job duties. Refrigerator was quite large, and the microwave was useful. The pool was small (only 3-ft deep), and the pool area could use some updates (although it was well-maintained and clean). The pillows were not good. Noise from the floor above was annoying. Breakfast had limited choices in fresh fruit (only bananas). Room was small (but maybe it's in proportion to the price).
Beds were uncomfortable and could use to be updated a little
The facility was clean, the staff was nice The breakfast that was set out was awful. The biscuits were cold and grainy, there was very little offered. This was the worst breakfast we have ever recieved at a hotel that offered free breakfast. They need to rethink how and what they serve or not serve anything at all. Also breakfast was only served for two hours instead of the customary three hours.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean rooms. Need some updates
Very inexpensive. Staff are all extremely friendly, good hard-working people. Like almost all other Brandon hotels it sits on a very steep hill so there were only a couple of parking spots where my bike wouldn't fall over when putting it on the side stand.
The hotel is old but everything worked and it smelled clean. Great place to lay your head which is all we wanted it for. Price can't be beat!
Good deal,40 bucks for 2 queen beds is a good deal...breakfast was pretty good too. Beds were a little ghetto but for 40 bucks not bad
Easy check in, large beds No late check out
location bed was old and very uncomfortable you could almost feel the springs, walls very thin, show head very low and i am only 5.3 so that says a lot. i felt like it was almost a pay by the hour hotel. the check in staff was OK. check out staff was horrible they didn't ask how are stay was or anything just thank you. didn't even look me in the eye. I would not recommend this place to anyone
Loved the over all hotel and location. Only one staff member did not seem to want to be there, especially making waffels. All others were quite helpful!
The room was nice, and the location is great. I was not expecting the hotel to be as close to the strip as it was. For the price, I don't think it could be beat. The A/C was not turned on prior to my arrival. It took a few hours to cool the room.
We liked that it was close to everything. We could walk to a lot of shops, restaurants, or shows. The rooms need to be updated.
All of it was awesome. Everything within walking distance
Location! Staff was friendly and accommodating! Early check in with no questions or hesitation. Room smelled kind of musty, and carpet was sticky. Small pool. Breakfast was lacking, so we opted for breakfast elsewhere.
I liked the very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and roomy. The bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfy and enough pillows. I liked that it had coffee maker, fridge, ironing board, and hair dryer. Our stay was very relaxing which is what I was wanting for my mother and I. I loved the location of the inn. Will stay here when we come to Branson We needed more coffee packs than was provided. We also needed more toiletries.
Lovely place, great breakfast! Rooms were clean and roomy and had a frig, microwave and coffee pot. We did an online check in. They give you preferences, and we checked one bed. Got a response that there were none, and so chose the preference of a view. They gave us 212 which is on the road side, BELOW the level of the parking lot. There couldn't be a worse view. I did go out and ask for a change, and they moved us across the hall to 219 which indeed had a view. (Hotel on a hillside, by just crossing the hall we went from below ground level to a fairly expansive view. ). We learned....we will not do an online check in again.
Hotel was clean, nice little balcony, rooms were great - we had 5 adult kids traveling w us and our rooms turned out to be adjoining - bonus!! Beds were a little stiffer than at home but definately did not hinder our ability to sleep. Great stay. Great location. Wld stay again
Very nice staff, clean, and comfortable.Great price and nice place for a one night stay. No breakfast, walk way to room could use a little work.windows could use a room darken shade or dark curtains because outside light shined in all night. I like my room dark at night.
I really liked the proximity to all the shows and Silver Dollar City that the hotel is located at off Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. I enjoyed the breakfast. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms were great! I have stayed there several times and I have never been disappointed.
Close to Silver Dollar City and other activities, such as; Showboat-Branson Belle and entertainment. We had difficulty finding parking during the evenings, breakfast was not good, and the maids did not clean our room or make the bed when requested.
Everyone was really nice. Liked that the pool areas were open till midnight. Want allot of parking spaces
We had three days reservations but couldn't get away the first day. We e-mailed a change in reservations but the price went fron $144 for three nights to $159 for two nights. It would have been cheaper to just not show up the first night. On top of that I got sick eating their breakfast. Would never recommend Stone Castle to my worst enemy.
Nice rooms, friendly staff. Clean. We were right by one of the indoor pools so it was humid and smelled like chlorine abd cleaning supplies. Breakfast could have been better. We enjoyed the stay though and would stay again if we could request a room farthe from the pools and make other breakfast plans.
Our room had a golf theme with the artist signature of 1994. Even had a non working golf clock. It had a blue jacuzzi with gold fixtures. Obviously, this decor hasn't been changed in the last 20 yrs. while taking a shower, the floor was so soft, I was afraid the floor would give way. It had an overall old, musty and uncared for vibe. The blankets felt like horse hair. We were going to stay 2 nights, but ended up leaving after 1 night. I couldn't wait to come home and shower the grungy feeling off!
There was not enough parking space . I think they had 2 or 3 big groups in that week-end.
My wife and I booked this hotel on Kayak. Upon arrival the staff informed us that our reservation had been upgraded. We were given a themed room with a hot tub. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was quick to respond to request for extra linens. Breakfast was very thing all the other reviews said it was. My wife and I would stay there again even without the upgrade and we would recommend it to our family and friends.
very quite, clean, everyone nice, great breakfast. this was a short visit. rooms was dark, but ok for this time.
Me and my friend had a good time. The breakfast was wonderful! I only stayed there for one night but still had a great time!
Nothing Everything except pool
Good breakfast. Shower head too low.
Nice size rooms, clean, decent breakfast, great value for the price. A steal. Arrived at 4am. Requested early check-in after midnight. No help from staff. No one responded to request. Overnight desk wasn't there, and had bad attitude. Although I was willing to pay for an extra night. Then when I come back at approximately 2:30 that afternoon. I was told by a different front desk attendant that check in was at 3pm. And she has to do paperwork between -2-3 so couldn't be checked in any sooner. The saving grace for the staff was the same night I checked in, my wife need some Aleve, and tums. I thought they had some at the front desk. Unfortunately, they did not. But the front desk attendant, called her boyfriend to bring some Tums and Aleve. So I didn't have to go out late. Then drew me a map to gas station. She went the extra mile while while the other staff offered little assistance. I wish I knew her name. She deserves to be recognized!
