Fordele: Very helpful staff, very responsive, happy to help give advice for the island and make sure you’re taken care of during your stay. Room is what you need and comfortable with the balcony. Great location for Heraklion. Close to buses and lots of restaurants and cafes.

Fordele: We stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is just over three years old is modern very well equipped. We booked a club room which was very spacious, had a great shower, comfortable king bed and a coffee machine. Everything worked as it should, the breakfast was great and the staff super efficient and friendly. Panagiotis at the front desk was great and super helpful in helping us get the most out of our stay in Heraklion. The hotel is well located and within walking distance from the town centre and restaurants. Highly recommended and one of the best in Greece .

Fordele: Located very close to the ferry fort makes it a very convenient place to stay. It also has free parking and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. It is also worth spending time on the terrace and getting a drink of your choice with good views of the sea and the fort.

Ulemper: It is not a standalone building but part of a complex and is situated in some confusing narrow lanes and it is very difficult to find for the first time for people driving up there with no room for errors especially with no entry and one way road traffic signs everywhere..

Fordele: Staff was very polite, professional and helpful. The room was very clean and comfy. During breakfast we had plenty of choices including national sweets, a lot of fruits, nuts, vegetables, some hot dishes and so on. In addition, car parking was handeld by parking staff that was really convenient and free for hotel guests.

Fordele: Great central location with supermarket and restaurants next door. Modern, well-equipped rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Best part was the breakfast, it had everything you might possibly want, and then some!

Ulemper: Balcony not that great but not necessary either.

Fordele: Lovely rooms, very clean, we were on 5th floor right by the roof terrace which was nice place to sit. Also great breakfast.

Ulemper: It was a bit hard to find it by car, but once we did parking was was very close and not too expensive for middle of town.

Fordele: Very friendly staff, close to main areas of town for shopping and eating, nice rooms, nice roof terrace overlooking the Aegean

Fordele: The location was marvellous for walking to the important attractions. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was huge, with a double basin bathroom and a delightful shady terrace. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean (and I am fussy).

Ulemper: The outside street was very narrow - I wouldn’t try driving there. When the wind blows in a particular direction the jets fly overhead - however, that must affect all of the old city. I didn’t notice the planes late at night or early in the morning.

Fordele: Well located for ferry port and it was easy to find somewhere to eat nearby. Clean. Fast check in and check out and WiFi worked.

Ulemper: The property’s location meant it was noisy and very hard to sleep - it is directly below a flight path so there is the noise of planes until midnight and starting at 630am on the dot. When we stayed there were also dogs barking relentlessly for a 20 min period from just before 5am and we were woken by noise in the street at 3am too. (I am not a light sleeper...) the first room we were given (55) had a horrible smell and was on an outside terrace which was really noisy from music nearby. They moved us to 43 which had no smell but not a great start and we were still kept up with noise although we had requested a quiet room at booking. Not hotel’s fault but I would be aware... all we wanted was a good nights sleep, especially as I am five months pregnant and we had a long drive the next day, so it was not a good stay for us. Breakfast was not of best quality but was standard and ok. Whole place is a bit tired. Lastly, they didn’t ask us on check out how our stay was which was telling (bad restaurants and hotels never seem to ask, maybe because they don’t want to know...) so didn’t seem the hotel were bothered about feedback or customer experience

Fordele: Hotel was lovely close to all we wanted to see and only 5 minutes away from the port where we had to take the ferry to Santorini. Very modern and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom facilities was excellent.

Ulemper: I would have liked to be a little bit more clean in the bathroom arround the power supply and on the hair dryer cable, but ussually I am too picky.

Ulemper: Pre set up of lounge chairs with umbrellas on the beach would be nice. Presently you have to carry your lounge chair to the beach. The pool area is big so evening entertainment would also be nice there along with the bar staying open much later.

Fordele: Really helpful, kind staff. We didn't have any difficulty during our stay. Tasteful and good breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool, but take care, depth is 2.6m! Seaside is close, about 100m. Public transport is close, available to go to Heraklion or to other destinations in Crete. We really enyojed our stay.

Fordele: The hotel location is on a very nice beach, the staff is amazing!!! Very nice and helpfull!!! The rooms is very clean. There is a very good bus that conect the hotel diractly to city center and airport. No need to spend money on taxi

Ulemper: All over the hotel there is a very strong smell of smoking. Discasting smell. A bit far from city center, need to take bus/taxi or be sporty and walk on the beach 4km

Ulemper: Asked for a quiet room. It was next to the road and VERY noisy - cars, motorbikes, dogs barking. Bed VERY hard - couldn't sleep. Couldn't change room.

Fordele: The hotel does what it sets out to do - it is very basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the pool was large and nicely set out.

Ulemper: There were no extra towels supplied for the pool so we had to use our bath towels. The beach it is beside was not particularly nice and the location is quite out of the way.

Fordele: Nice balcony, fridge, towels were changed every day and it was allowed to use these by the sea, free parking around the hotel. Sea was close, it was calming to hear sea wave sounds during night time.

Ulemper: Breakfast was repeating, no sun beds near the sea but you could carry one if you wanted. It was windy (good for kid surfers), two days it was stormy.

Fordele: Very nice and clean hotel. People here are friendly, very receptive. We had a good time in this hotel. Recommend

Fordele: Buffet for dinner and breakfast was great, staff very kind.

Ulemper: Because the hotel parking site was full, a staff member parked our car the evening we arrived. The next morning it turned out that he had parked it in front of the hotel loading dock and the car had been damaged by someone trying to get past. It showed a big dent and scratches exactly on the spot (rear right) where a trolly would pass from the road to the sidewalk. A mere passer-by on the sidewalk could not have caused such damage. Yet the hotel refused to take any responsibility. We spent several very unpleasant hours talking to managers through the phone and ended up paying for the damages ourselves. We were only lucky that the friendly car rental service (Kydon) showed some understanding and did not charge the full amount. One would expect more from a hotel in this class.

Fordele: Being located in the heart of Heraklio Infinity hotel is the choice for the traveler looking for value for money combined with large rooms fitted in a modern design style. This hotel is also ideal for a longer stay

Fordele: Room size was good but not very clean. Located in the city center.

Ulemper: The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It was small without ventilation. The shower was moldy with a very low ceiling. And worst of all the shower head holder was broken so the water was either shooting at the floor or the ceiling. I felt cleaner before showering than I did after getting out of that shower.

Fordele: Staff very professional, sympathetic and helpful. Breakfast buffet is pretty ok. Rooms are clean and neat but nothing impressive.

Ulemper: As I paid 485 EUR for 4 nights: way overpriced. Especially because the hotel is pretty sensitive for noise. Thin ceilings, buzzing airco’s and fridges. The place seems renovated not so long ago but there is already quite some ‘wear and tear’ on doors, locks, wardrobes etc.. definitely not on par with a 120 EUR++per night. If it would be 60 -75 EUR max. I’d say it would fit. Like often in S Europe. Just eliminate 1 * and it suits better.

Fordele: Only stayed one night, great position in Heraklion. Spacious room and excellent staff.

Fordele: The room is fully consistent with the description and photos. It is homely cozy and comfortable. Location is simply no better. All that you may need is within walking distance. I recommend this apartment to everyone.

Ulemper: Price-quality ratio. In my opinion, a hotel of this level should be a little cheaper. But the location is captivating. Very comfortable. Close to the center to the sea. And generally very well located.

Fordele: Fabulous staff on reception looked after us and our bike boxes whilst on tour. Hotel is in central Heraklion a few minutes walk from great restaurants and bars. Air conditioning in room worked well.

Ulemper: Would prefer shower cubicle rather than overhead shower on bath

Ulemper: The room was tight for 2 people plus luggage.

Fordele: Walk to city center or the water in less than five minutes. Walked with luggage from the port to the hotel in 15 mins. Great central location. Staff was very helpful. 12 euro cab ride to airport. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Rooms were comfy. Good water pressure.

Fordele: Comfortable hotel near the town centre Restaurants close by and very convenient to the ferry port. No hesitation in staying here again

Fordele: Hotel was convenient, a few blocks uphill to center--or 1 block downhill to the sea--and a short walk along to the venetian fortress and one short block to a grocery store. The front desk was friendly, room was a decent size with fridge, good shower. Bed was too hard for me--but that's my preference alone. We didn't have one of the super-duper rooms with views of the sea--just a standard room. Buffet breakfast was good and we didn't go hungry. No complaints. I thought about renting a car to go out to Knossos and parking close to hotel--but forgot that idea as soon as I saw just how tight parking was on the street--so we took the bus to Knossos which was easy enough. That said--there is a paid public parking close by and the hotel does give you a voucher to lower the cost.

Fordele: Good location near the centre and old port areas. Nice breakfast dining area outside. Friendly & helpful staff.

Fordele: This three star hotel offers an excellent value for money. Located in the center near the waterfront the hotel is near everything within walking distance. The Rooms are very clean and the beds very comfortable The personnel is very friendly

Ulemper: Having six floors the hotel lift can't cope as much during rush hours.

Fordele: The front desk was very, very helpful. We were upgraded to a suite. Not sure why, but it was nice. Good sound canceling windows and AC.

Fordele: Every thing was perfect for us, great food, lovely sea on your door step . Not crowded, long expanse of sandy beach which was clean. All staff bending over backwards for us. We will be back next year for longer!

Fordele: Amazing staff, everyone very welcoming; kudos to Maria, Kallia and Kallia (Spa), Vangelis (main bar), the team of the pool bar. The structure, facilities and rooms are very clean and well kept. Dinner buffet was very good! We enjoyed very much the a la carte restaurant too.

Ulemper: We had big problems with the Wi-Fi connection throughout the stay. We reccomend to increase the quality and variety of the breakfast menu.

Fordele: Staff OK, lot of sunshine, nice garden, food OK.

Ulemper: Leaking aircondition into our bed, they tried to fix it but unsuccesfully and didnt change the room. One million of mosquitos, so unable to open window or door, good protection against insect is needed. Dirty sea water on the beach.

Fordele: Amazing stay in this beach hotel. It exceeded our expectations. At check-in we were upgraded to one of beachfront bungalows. Also, we got free dinner at hotel's a la carte restaurant as well as 15 min free massage each of us. They knew about our late arrival, so at the room we had some fresh food to eat. We booked all inclusive which was perfect. We liked the fact that during the day at the pool bar (10am-6pm), beside drinks and coffee, there is always fresh fruit and some snacks and deserts in case you want to grab something between meals. Also, at the pool bar you can have lunch, of course basic courses, but very nice, so basically you can have lunch in a bathing suit in case you are to lazy to go to the restaurant :) The food at the restaurant was fine and well presented, a lot of fresh cuisine. At the main building in front of the restaurant there is a bar (6pm-midnight), they make very good cocktails, very kind bar tenders. You can enjoy drink anywhere you want. All staff was amazing, extremely friendly and happy to help. A lot animation activities aqua gym, aqua dance, pilates, live music, table tennis competition, 1 hour walk into the village, etc. The bathroom and room was very clean. We slept very good, very quiet resort. We asked for less hard pillows and they immediately provided it. We rented a car through the hotel which was very simple. Ask a day before for a lunch bag to go if you are going to be away all day. We went to Elafonissi and Chania. Far away for one day excursion (total 440 km), but definitely was it worth it. The beach is sandy, not the best one, but it is ok, warm water despite the wind. Windy area so it is pleasant to stay in the sun. There are a lot of sunbeds an umbrellas everywhere. Clean beach towels every day. Great location, 10-15 minutes by car from the airport. Heraklion city as well. 3 min walk form hotel you will find a lot of shops. Thank you very much for amazing stay! We felt really good and relaxed.

Ulemper: Bed matrasses are hard. Dinner should be extended till 10 pm (now is from 7 to 9.15pm). Regarding the food, we did not like how they prepare meat, a lot of spices which we are not used of it.

Fordele: The staff, the location, the gardens.

Ulemper: The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Fordele: The food is very really good and we had every day New options in the menu. We booked a standard bangalow but when we arrived we were upgraded to a premium one, which was bigger and much nicer.

Ulemper: Most of the workers in the hotel were nice and ready to help, but some of them were very unfriendly to us before we even spoke to them! We had no idea why !

Fordele: - Receptionists are friendly. - Beautiful view (the garden is nice). - The weather is really good (yes I know that it does not depend on the hotel).

Ulemper: - Poor choice of food (for example, no even peanut butter for breakfast or packaged yogurt). - That food you can find is not tasty (croissants smell yeast, meat is too fat, sausages are terrible). - Short lunch time. - The wine is worst I have ever tasted. It's impossible to describe. It tastes like ultra cheap wine + ashes. - WiFi is not available in room (the signal is too low) only outside of room. - Room shower without a curtain. - Shampoo and soap have not been renew. - It's a bit difficult to find sunbed on the beach because guests occupy them by towels. - The sea looks a bit dirty. - Mosquitoes.

Fordele: High class hotel! The food is varied, the place is clean, the cabins are nice between plants and flowers, a large pool and a few meters from the sea. A friendly crew and a real assistant we enjoyed every moment ... A little suggestion for improvement, we came from a country that people dont eat pork so maybe put some more dishes from beef..

Fordele: The staff were very polite and kind. The location was excellent. The beach was very easy to reach. Plenty of space for parking a car. The restaurant had a good choice of food each day. For a short stay this was ok, but for more than a week it would have felt repetitive.

Ulemper: A bottle of water in the room each day would have been appreciated.

Fordele: The staff was excellent, they were very helpful and friendly! Loved the fact that our bungalow was right on the beach. The bungalow was cleaned daily, incl. mopping, bathroom cleaning of sand etc.

Ulemper: The breakfast was poor quality, scrambled eggs seemed to be mixed in with something else to make more of them. The coffee was terrible and juices tasted like the cheap ones from the carton boxes you get for less than a euro. Wifi was also very very poor, we barely had any in our bungalow.

Fordele: Nice location near the beach. Hotel was clean. Room with sea view.

Ulemper: Food and Beverage is acceptable. Can be improved.

Fordele: Very pleasant beach front hotel with good breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Rooms were simple, clean and serviceable and staff was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Ulemper: The onsite parking that is advertised is a public car park where survival of the fittest is the rule. The private car park holds 2-3 cars max. You might want to avoid room #103 as it is directly next to the kitchen and quite noisy until late night.

Fordele: In general everything was as expected. The stuff is very helpful and the facilities are very clean.

Ulemper: Without being annoying, our room was a bit loud because it was next to the staircase.

Fordele: Good food, friendly staff, lovely views.

Ulemper: Shower was broken.

Fordele: We had a fantastic stay on Crete. The hotel is small but very cozy. It has a direct access to the beach, which was convenient for us with the baby. The staff is amazing and very helpful and the food was prepared delicious

Fordele: Rooms were modern. Entertainment representative was very good. Greek food options at buffet were excellent. Location on beach with mountain views was stunning. Staff were very friendly and even before we arrived sorted our big family party accommodation out by email efficiently. Swimming pool and surrounding area kept crystal clean.

Ulemper: Area very much given to hotels, but we expected that and hired car from car rental nearby and toured Crete for one day to get flavour of island.

Fordele: Great price for the offer of all inclusive.

Ulemper: That everything felt a little bit more underrated as the stars given to this hotel. Despite a sign signalling that no sun beds are to be reserved ... nearly all were ahead of breakfast (despite only a couple of people using them). I think it's important to have hotel house rules but they should not just be window-dressing. Every guest ought to have a right to use all of the facilities. Reserving seats or sun beds is absolutely ridiculous and staff should (as the so-called rules by the poolside state) should remove the pegs that hold towels there. Or better still, remind guests on their arrival that reserving sun loungers/beds is against house rules. Certain cultures whether it be German or British have no right to impose such archaic traditions on any other holidaymakers.

Fordele: It's my first ever trip to exact same summer destination twice in a row. As before, it fully met my expectation. The place is close to airport & the city, yet the beach is long and relaxing enough if you walk a few minutes any direction. The hotel's most valuable asset are the people working there. The staff at the restaurant - those you meet most often - are always friendly, quick and always ready to help. The bar team also deserves a 5*. The family rooms we stayed in were clean and comfy. Everything required was there. Cleaning raised no issues. Liked the food - didn't miss any particular kind if food. Was never hungry :) Exept for rare peak days, there were always sunbeds at the beach, though it's hard to fined >1 spare sunbed by the pool past 10am. There's small private car park for your car. Staff speak English, German and some speak French as well. A special thank you voes to the manager - Nikoletta - who's been very helpful in making some non-trivial arrangements for my family members.

Fordele: Kronos is a basic hotel, good location in central Heraklion. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast provided was good. There are many good restaurants in the area.

Ulemper: The room was very small and basic (no room to sit at desk). There were no toiletries provided and the air con and fridge were unreliable.

Fordele: Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room next to the beach. One minutes walk to a bar and just 10 minutes walk from some great tavernas in the village centre marina. Will definitely be back.

Fordele: This is a lovely old hotel with the most helpful and gracious staff you could find. Anything big or little, they will help with which makes foreign travel so much nicer. It is older and there is some evidence of the number of people who have enjoyed it before. The location was close to the bus, the ferry and the airport which was very convenient, but also made it a bit noisy at times, however we got around the city mostly on foot from the hotel so it worked for us. Nikos was particularly helpful for us.

Fordele: The staff is kind. The location is great. Close to the main street and the harbor. The room is spacious.

Ulemper: The shower room is tiny. There is a lot of noise from the airport.

Fordele: Location and incredible staff, with a great breakfast which was included in the price.

Ulemper: There was nothing we were unhappy with.

Fordele: Beliggenheden er på havnefronten midt i byen, og man kan gå til alting. Smuk udsigt. Selve byen Heraklion er ikke noget at skrive hjem om! Vi brugte hotellet som udgangspunkt for et besøg på Knossos.

Ulemper: Flot, flot udsigt fra vores altan, der manglede møbler. Men med meget trafik nedenunder ville man måske ikke engang sidder der(?) Morgenmad virkelig dårlig. Tørt toastbrød (når der nu er så meget lækkert brød i Grlkenland!), saftevand i stedet for juice, selv yoghurten med honning var kedelig.

Fordele: We only stayed at Kronos for one night - but the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. I explained to Maria that we were on our honeymoon and I wanted to make it special for my wife at each place along the way. Even though we had a short time in Iraklio, Maria went out of her way to buy flowers at a shop nearby and provide a bottle of wine as well. Location was perfect as well for us since we had to catch the ferry the next morning.

Fordele: The wonderful place with tasty food and amazing beach. The rooms are light and clear, personnel are cheerful, polite and helpful. The delicious food in the hotel's tavern. The bus stop is in several metres. There is good transport accessibility from Heraklion. Very nice place for unhurried family rest.

Fordele: Great friendly and helpful staff (Yiannis and his family). Conveniently located close to the beachfront. Free sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests. Large parking nearby. Relatively quiet area, but easy access to VOAK.

Fordele: The staff especially at the front desk and in the special restaurants were consistently helpful and generous. The spa staff and treatments were great! The accessibility in the hotel was very good. There was a great variety of food at all meals in the hotel and during the day by the beach. Our children and grandchildren loved the play facilities.. slides, pools, beach.. The store and jewelry store had a wide selection for daily needs and souvenirs and cosmetics... The location was great as we were a short driving distance to Heraklion yet in a quiet area.

Ulemper: The landscape is marred by the huge chimneys of the electric plant.. The food in the dining room while plentiful and varied was not all that tasty.. especially at the meat dishes at dinner. The mattress was uncomfortable...

Fordele: Very good facilities - we enjoyed the pool and the beach access. The restaurants were also incredibly good and reasonably priced - the staff working at the Greek and Italian restaurants in particular were lovely.

Ulemper: I found that there were never enough people working at reception, which made it frustrating when we had to wait for over 20mins for a brief question. The staff in the breakfast area were also quite rude - they were more obsessed with clearing tables than actually noticing that we had left stuff at our table to go and get more food. We were not particularly impressed to come back to find another couple sitting there. We were also supposed to get a free 15min massage but were unable to do so as no one was there to actually help us book.

Fordele: Almost everything! Especially the friendly helpful staff! Great options for kids- pools slides games beach.. lots of food options.. close to many places..

Ulemper: Uncomfortable mattresses Dinner food could be tastier.,

Fordele: The place is very nice. It has everything you need for a good vacation: Sun, sea, amazing food, bar, garden. Very welcoming staff. The food is so great! The beds were comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Ulemper: A lot of families with kids there, so if you want a quiet and romantic time spend with your partner it is not quite a place for you in this occasion.

Fordele: The food here was pretty good. The pool was nice and deep. Our room was huge.

Ulemper: We booked a day at the spa and were forced to cancel with plenty of notice. The spa clerk began berating us about how bad it is for them that we cancelled. She then proceeded to yell at us and accused us of not having enough money for the spa. (We had already paid...) I brought this matter to the front desk and they did not care. That is not the mentality of a 5 star hotel. Then again, I don’t believe that this is a true 5 star. I would say it rates at a solid 4 star. Most definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here due to the attitude of the staff.

Fordele: A very nice hotel located in the beautiful park of exitic trees, cery close to the beach, good and attentive personnel, excellent food. My thanks tho the personnel and management.

Ulemper: The only minus the sea was still cold, another minus, the beach is not sandy, in a meter after the water edge begins a rocky (although) flt surface. All the rest was good.

Ulemper: The main hotel need a modernisation. Just a two stars hotel

Fordele: The location is very good. A huge selection of dishes in restaurants! the sea is beautiful, clean, sandy beach, many sun loungers. However, people occupy many sun loungers in the morning and go to bed. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, you can get to Heraklion and other places for 4 euro. Beach towels are available. Each room has little fridge, kettle, tea, coffee.

Ulemper: The safe in the room had to be closed with a key, i.e. the key to the safe had to be carried.

Fordele: excellent food, very nice staff, the location is excellent with a very nice private beach, this hotel offers excellents facilities I recommend 100%! The dinning room staff are 100% professional. Thanks team!!!

Ulemper: nothing to complain!

Fordele: The staff were happy, smiling and willing to cater to any needs/requests. The food in the restaurants was impeccable, always fresh ingredients with a good selection of Greek and international food. The packed lunches were good too. Light, nothing fancy but quite adequate. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh bed linen and towels. The beach towel service was very handy and a special thank you to the two ladies, Valentina and Ansi, at the resort's spa where we enjoyed a full body scrub and hot oil massage, foot and neck complete relaxation massage and an amazing facial lifting with natural Cretan oils and creams at a very reasonable price. Minas, the main bar barman and Vlad were also fantastic and with all the people here still remembered from one day to the next what we usually ordered to drink and where we had said we were going the evening before. Overall a very welcome relaxing week. Absolute nothing to complain about.

Ulemper: Not the resort's fault, but we prefer a compact sandy access to the sea. The beach is sandy but there are stones to overcome when entering the sea.

Fordele: The food was OK

Ulemper: The night time entertainment was dreadful. The rooms were very basic with no pictures on the walls to break up the blandness.

Fordele: Friendly staff.

Ulemper: Old tired furniture , every where looked as if it could do with a coat of paint, door to the balcony was missing parts of it. could not get wifi in the bedroom - had to go out on the balcony to get any reception, food was always only luke warm, afternoon tea was a few sliced cakes and a plate of biscuits, sitting area inside was like sitting in a doctors waiting room, no flowers or plants - everything seemed to be cut back . Cost per night was too high for the quality of accommodation.

Fordele: Great personnel. The receptionist, Antonis was really helpful. Pope is friendly. Clean room and bed sheets. Breakfast is not bad. Pope has the toast ready before you ask for it. Location is good.

Ulemper: From the bedroom you can ear everything, even people taking shower in other rooms. There is no chance to have a quiet sleep since you have during the people people arriving or leaving the hotel and in the early morning like 7am you already can ear the cleaning lady! It's really noisy, I hated that. The breakfast is satisfactory but nothing compared to the other parts of the island. Heraklion, in general, is horrible as city.

Fordele: Everything else locals all friendly locations was good lino mare staff was excellent

Ulemper: A little noise due to locals being up so early and having loud conversations below also traffic with their loud music systems on

Fordele: The location of the hotel is perfect, near the beach, supermarket, restaurants, souvenir shops, bus stop and few minutes by bus or taxi to the center of Heraklion. The staff is very helpful and kind. Adonis at the reception was very helpful and responsive to our requests and needs. He help us to book nice tours in Crete within a great tour operator Katrina. As well he help us to arrange the pick up and driving to the airport. Everything went smooth and nice. Francesca, the cleaning lady is a sweetheart, so kind and nice. The room was always clean with fresh bed linen and towels. Popi the lady in charge of breakfast was also very kind. In general we enjoy our staying in the hotel and had a super great time in Crete! We stayed for 10 days in the hotel and everyday was nice. The room was spacious, with AC, quiet with a big bed, a bit hard for my taste but comfy enough for a good sleep. Has a little kitchenet with a mini refrigerator.

Ulemper: I think that will be nice if the kitchenet in the bedroom can count with a coffeemaker, some dishes and cutlery, it only have glasses, cups, little dishes and teaspoons. But it is easy to solve if you request them to Adonis. The breakfast could have a little more variety, coffee was thin, and it will be nice with fresh fruit juice, instead of instant juice. But are things that can be improve. In general everything is fine and good.

Fordele: The pool, the gracious manager who transferred us to the hotel from our temporary accommodation. The barman Dimitri, who is a gentleman and a very nice man (and who makes the BEST freddo known to man.

Ulemper: That we arrived at the hotel to be told that we would be accommodated at another hotel ( run by the same company) for two days and then transferred to the one we booked. The temporary accommodation was many kilometers away at Gouves Bay Hotel, in a desolate windswept awful place. The streets outside this hotel are a little like a bombsite; strewn with debris and rubbish. Why anyone would want to go there is beyond me. Because of this experience, we “lost” two days of our 5 day holiday. Never again‼️ (The staff of these hotels were about the only thing that made the stay bearable).

Fordele: The owners and staff were wonderful, very helpful, and fun to be with. They solved all of our problems, helped us with transport, and quickly became like family to us.

Fordele: Great small place to relax! Breakfast was good and tasty but the dinner was Excellent (Great Greek cuisine)! Expecaly if you don't check what's for dinner before it, It is a great surprise. Pool and bar area is beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, will suggest the to-go places, give directions. All together it was a amazing stay

Ulemper: We had let hotel know we were arriving a day late and they replied saying "Great see you then". When we arrived they had given our room to someone else, they offered us a downgrade room, unacceptable. We were then sent to a sister hotel, half an hour away, inferior room and furnishings, no sea view which we had paid for. After 2 nights we were then shunted back to original hotel for 2 nights, room was good but not the one I had specifically booked with glass balustrade so we could lie in bed and look at the view. The pool looked a little grubby.
