Location is unbeatable . Rooms are beautiful ; spacious, modern, and clean. This is practically a brand new hotel. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is recommended ,Location is unbeatable . Rooms are beautiful ; spacious, modern, and clean. This is practically a brand new hotel. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is recomm Rooms can be a little noisy because of location and the way our rooms was right by the elevator but nothing to really worry about.
Location was fantastic. Hotel was clean and well-maintained. View of the sites was excellent on the front side of the building. View on the back side of the building awful.
The staff was incredible, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Beautiful rooms and views and perfect location. My only complaint was that there is no deadbolt lock on the inside of the room. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
location is the best.
Super location, short walking distance to so many spots. The hotel is first class. Spendy, but worth it because the location means you can really just enjoy the sights without so much hassle with getting around the town.
This hotel was my first experience with a Four Seasons Hotel and certainly worth the expense. The staff were welcoming and accommodating to me on an individual level. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The food was out of this world. A great hotel in a great location. It's the place to stay if you want to treat yourself!
Perfect location, good atmosphere, very nice views,
Staff was efficient and courteous.....however the beds need definately improvement...the mattresses felt like they had been used by very heavy overweight people with a definate hole in the middle. We stayed in room 401 which sizewise was ok but had very few hangers for hanging clothes. New mattresses absolutely necessary... they should also provide a little more light in the corridors of the hotel... it was almost pitch dark and one had difficulties to insert card to open room doors.
Rooms not very spacious but quite clean and well-maintained. Comfort is ok, but not exceptional. Furnishing and decoration need update. Breakfeast buffet might be a bit more refined. Overall, acceptable value for money but there are better options available. The view is magnificent on the 6/7 th floor.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the view excellent (you can see from your window all the city, Agyasofia and Blue Mosque) and the tramway station very close to the hotel. I ll return to this hotel if I ever visit again Istanbul. The fact that the elevetor comes up to the 7th floor, and you have to walk some stairs to go to the roof garden which is on the 8th floor.
The room, view, amenities, and location were great; The one major issue was the staff - one of the desk clerks continued to harass my wife, asking for photos, and also to go on a date. It made the stay quite uncomfortable .. I would not expect this from a three star hotel!
Very convenient position for visiting the old town and the local attractions The room was extremely hot as the air conditioning was ineffective, no air conditioning in the breakfast room, staff not particularly helpful.
staff were excellent internet connection was subject to problems
A very nice hotel in a perfect location.
The location and view were very good The only luxurious aspect of the hotel are the room prices. Given the price we were expecting something better than old furniture, staff that would not make the room in the afternoon and soap/shampoo coming from an dispenser attached to a wall. The worst was the minimalist breakfast supposed to last until 10:30 but which is almost empty at 9:30 and with staff starting to dispose of it at 10:15. Hotel does indeed have a gym, massage and jacuzzi, but you have to pay just for "general facilities access", and again for the activity you choose. We don't recommend this hotel, there are many better ones with same location advantage!
good view The airconditioner is not working at the hotel .I adviced this hotel to my professor scientist colleguaeas .One them recently visited May 30 2010 from Taiepei and he told me that the airconditioner is not working Only fan is working . at that time I warned the hotel service . then for the SSIEM meeting I stayed and 3 of my other collegueas booked and stayed one from Belgium and the others two from UK and we had still the same problem air conditioner was NOT working I complained about this to hotel service and they told me that they can not do anything for that. It is not good for hotel that has a very nice location . I am sure , you will have more pressure on this air conditioner fixing or having a new system there Thank you
Most amazing view of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from my room.
pretty nice hotel, great location and view from the roof dining room breakfast could be better
A very nice location + a very friendly staff.The Hotel is small,but nice The rooms are too small+description is wrong:rooms are not suit.for 4 persons,even for 3 pers.not comfortable(Suites).Rooms are looking to a wall,at least the suites.
The location Next door construction
Hotel well located. Spacy room. The hammam does not work. You can not use the spa when ever you want. You have to book before, you can not share the hammam with other people.
The staff and the location. The room was fine as well
Location, clean room and good beds, private use of sauna, friendly staff, spacious room for 2 persons The room in the first floor was sometimes quite noisy, in the room was lack of wardrobes especially with shelves, the lights with the key card was hard to put on, it would be nice to have some variation in the breakfast
the staff was very friendly and this nice hotel is located in the most interesting place of Istanbul, near ayia sofia and blue mosque. And with great connection with other places such as Grand bazzar and the taksim square.
good quality for given price. Was only due to the low season I am affraid.
Friendly staff. Accomodating. Extremely central location for Istanbul. They tried to push a tour on us but it wasnt too bad. Overall very good people!
staff service / welcome
The staff were very friendly. i felt like home. The hotel is in the middle of all attractions. The hotel is small compared with the pictures on the site
The personnel and their extra mile dedicated to provide the best they can, the owner Ali is committed and ready to all suggestion and recommendations from all the guests, I pointed out small things and he ordered the adjustments with the blink of an eye, great management, recommendations to Mourad, Ismael, Shivan and Serhan, thank you guys; you're great.
Great location, great breakfast.
A fine location, very interesting use of old location and artifacts from archeological excavation, comfortable room and very pleasant welcome. This is our second and I hope not last stay.
Exellent!! The hotel was great, nice room, good location in old city-would definitely stay again
The beds are too hard as are the pillows. There was no heating despite the cold nights. The hot water supply is unreliable
location of hotel to the main attractions
The Eresin Crown is centrally located, very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Drinks and some food items in the restaurant are overpriced. The roof terrace, which is one of the main features of the hotel, was not open for breakfast although the weather was fne and sunny.
Very nice location, good staff, nice breakfast, highly recommended
We loved the proximity to all the major sites in the old city of Istanbul, and we really enjoyed how the hotel incorporated ancient artifacts into their decor! When we arrived, we werreee upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. The rooftop breakfasts were very nice as well. The wifi was a little unreliable.
Good location. Breakfast ok. Bed acceptable. They put as in a closet first. 1 st floor room, size of a double bed. After complaint, they changed us, but then the service was cold. Also the reception gave false information about public transport.
Had a beautiful suite (had double room on the reservation even though now I see on your information it says "exclusive" double room). The hotel staff was helpful and polite. The location could not have been better. We walked to all the Sultanahmet sights, blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, AyaSofya, Topkapi Palace. No.
Location. Nice amenities. 3 star at best. Dark rooms, dogs welcome you at front door. Taxi can't easily get in because it's a very busy and crowded street
modern and new look. spacious and well furnished rooms. central location
1. Excellent decor and interiors. 2. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Guest Relations Manager at the reception (A lady) helped get us a very nice room. 3. Bellboy, was very courteous & helpful.4. Great hammam experience at the Spa. Breakfast was just about okay, but nowhere near the standards of the overall hotel.
The hotel's staff was truly exceptional. Words cannot do justice to the unique treatment I received at Sura. I felt more like family than a guest, and I would go out of my way to stay here again. Thank you for creating such a great team! Awesome location!
Sorry it was bad
Excellent location, very closed to metro.Excellent breakfast, good restaurant.Room and bed linen clean.Free drinking water. worn carpet
Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms Nothing
position on sea side was verry nice, modern and comfortable building with easy acces to the old city center, sshopping centers, staff always on duty, fresh food. sometimes some cigarett smoke comes in the room from the ventilation sistem.
Position ok,near by turist attraction, clean rooms, modern ambience, nice terrace with beautiful sea view. I never was receivd in a full sea view room, breakfast middle quality.
Every thing was great The early check out
Situation was ok and the rooms were clean with quite good beds. Typical business hotel.
Good location No coffee making facilities in the room...
position overlooking Bosphurus and helpful staff. The seating in our executive room was hard and uncomfortable. A comfortable sofa or armchair would have made us a lot happier as the ones we had were hard wood covered in sponge and consisted of a narrow sofa and a large backless stool. Staff helpful with rogue istanbul taxi drivers who all but sullied the face of an interesting and beautiful city and are a smear on the face of a proud and helpful Turkish people,
The quality of service was quite outstanding. Also the location of the hotel is ideal. I cannot think of a single thing but if i have point out one thing it would be the architecture of the building. The 60s exterior architecture is not in harmony with the interior which is very modern and new.
The room size was very large for the price and it was very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful! Felt very safe in the hotel too.
Very good location for tourist needs (7-10 minutes walk from Ayasofya), sea wiev, friendly staff. Clean and quiet, not crowdy around the hotel. Room could be a little bit bigger for triple stay.
I stayed in this hotel during my vacation and the this hotel i would say was more than 5 star hotel and services, staff, cleaness was great. mmmm..actually nothing........best hotel in Istanbul
Service from staff was good and it is easy access to Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. We visited there in mid-Oct and it was raining and cold, but heating system in the room was very good. Breakfast starts too late (from 7:30AM) and the room was not very sound-proof and it was quite noisy when people were talking or walking in the corridor.
The hotel was clean and well located, very close to all the touristic sites.
We were upgraded to a spacious stylish suite, excellent bed and shower. Breakfast area at the roof offfers an amazing view at Bosphorus. Location of the hotel is superb. Breakfast isn't impressive, same everyday and pity that they don't serve fresh coffee.
Very good location in a touristic area. Decent rooms, decent breakfast, free wifi. Rooms are outdated, it is not 4*, maximum 3*.
I have travelled to Istanbul several times on business and have stayed in different hotels. But when I decided take my wife for a short break, I decided to stay in Sultanahmet, which is the historical centre of Istanbul and walking distance from most of the tourist attractions. I did the usual initial internet research and Obelisk Best Western pictures looked good, being recently refurbished. After speaking to Mehmet in reservation and due to his warm manner, we booked in for three days. Throught our stay, we had an excellent service and the cleanliness of the hotel to be admired. The icing on the cake was, when a left behind book was posted to my London office! In summary... Excellent hotel at perfect location with admirable service, A perfect holiday...
Welcomed at the airport to be driven to the hotel especially great when flying overnight and such a long flight at that. Large room with one double and one single bed. The most comfortable bed ever! Very nice young man at the desk but the girl the next day had no personality. Good breakfast and great to use the internet.
This is a quaint, small boutique hotel in the historic Sultanamit area of Istanbul right opposite the blue mosque. Location is perfect for those interested in the historic attractions of the city. Although a fairly basic establishment, service is friendly and efficient with clean rooms. There is a Turkish Bath and I can recommend it for facilities. Restaurant has wonderful view. I have stayed here twice and have enjoyed a different experience.
A little gem in the heart of Istanbul. Perfect location, good food and excellent service. Rooms were well equipped and have free wi-fi. The staff and welcome was excellent. If you are in Istanbul then use this hotel. Yoou will not be disappointed.
Great location .. Friendly staff.. That was the first time I visited to Istanbul. And It was amazing. Hotel is located just a short walk from historical places. And also foods were too delicious..
Competent English speaking staff on reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was extensive and regularly topped up throughout the 2 hour period with freshly made food. Ensuring that whatever time you went to breakfast the food was plentiful and fresh. Also pleasing that the roof top terrace restaurant/bar is open all day. Many hotels in the vicinity close theirs up after breakfast which is a great shame when one of their main attractions is that they have a roof top terrace to see the spectacular & unique views of Istanbul. Although a quiet location, it is central, well lit with a selection of restaurants literally 1 minutes walk. I requested a Twin Room when booking with Booking.Com specifically stating it was my mother and I sharing a room. On arrival we were given a Double. The hotel showed me the reservation by Booking.Com and this information had not been conveyed to them. The hotel was full and was unable to do anything that night. In the morning the hotel arranged for a room that met our original booking requirements. Whilst disappointing and upsetting to arrive to this situation after a long days travelling we were pleased with the way in which the hotel dealt with the matter.
The hotel is a really nice place. New design and interior look very fine. The hotel staff is extremely polite and ready to help you with your most unusual requests. The hotel has an optimal location - close to Sultanahmet and Grand Bazaar, it is surrounded by many lovely restaurants and cafes where you can taste "delicious substance" of the Turkish cuisine. And, of course, we enjoyed the price of accomodation in this facility. 1. The breakfast might be a bit more diversified. Last year we had better breakfast in a hotel that was worse than the White House. 2. We expected a better room service (I don't understand why charladies folded towels that were hung to dry; and sometimes they tried to enter the room when there was a "do not disturb" sign on a handle of the door). Though this point is not critical. 3. Sound isolation should be better. However, I suppose it's an ordinary "drawback" of many Turkish hotels.
The hotel is very new, clean and nice. The staff was very helpful, they give answers for all the questions. The location is perfect, every important sight is in a short walk. Thanks for everything.
location is perfect - very calm street food in the morning
Very cooperative and helpful staff, prompt service, hotel is centrally located with good eating joints nearby.Need to mention name of Mr.Cazer on reception who has been an extremly good host.
Staff, location, room were fantastic!!! The breakfast could have more variety from day to day but all the hotels had the same breakfast.
Beautiful boutique hotel located near several of the historic buildings in old Istanbul. Amazing staff!
The staff was very accommodating and tried very hard to help us in any way they could. The hotel is only 5 months old and working hard to complete the furnishings and decoration... there were a few things missing, i.e. a comfortable chair in the room. But they told us everything was ordered and on the way.
We liked pretty much everything, from the welcome Turkish Delight and juice, to the Valentine's candles, wine and flower petals waiting in our room, to the breakfast overlooking the Istanbul skyline and the Blue Mosque, to the friendly staff, and finally to the goodbye gift and single rose (which my daughter still has). Not a thing!
The friendliness of the staff , the position , the cleanliness all made for a great stay.
We found this hotel very convenient to restaurants and the many old city attractions. The staff and all amenities were very good and we would stay at The White House Hotel again.
The staff very helpful, close to sightseeing, very comfortable Everything was great, the only thing which could have been improved is the shower drainage
The hotel was pristinely clean, was within easy walking distance of all attractions yet located away from the press of traffic and crowds, and the staff was outstandingly competent, friendly, and helpful. I liked everything (which is a rarity with me).
