I was there for a conference and the hotel was well located for walking to the conference facility. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff does not seem to be trained for good customer service. They were not helpful in responding to questions. There was no map of the local area available at the desk. The light inside the room as you enter was on a motion detector, which meant that unless you were constantly moving in that area, the light would go off. However, for some unknown reason the light would come on periodically during the night, disrupting sleep. This may be a way to save energy, but it became very annoying. There were no drawers to put clothing away. There was no coffee maker or way to make hot water in the room. After the second night the air conditioning was either turned off by the hotel or no longer worked.
Clean, bed nice and silence. Woke up at 5 am with cigarette smoke even though they said the sectionwas no smoking.
Located near the metro station, friendly atmosphere and polite personnel, baggage room to leave the luggage upon cheking out in case departure is in the late evening more TV channels
Close to Levent business area. Good price/quality ratio. Some mold on fitness room roof and lack of fresh air as it is underground.
Very friendly staff It is Ok for sleeping nothing else
Normally when I go to Istanbul I stay at higher end hotels, but because of the marathon I wasn't able to get a room so my research brought me to the Bilek hotel. It isn't the Ritz but the staff were friendly, the rooms were large and clean and the price is a third of what I normally pay. Yes it is a little dated but for the cost savings and if you are only staying a night or two this is an excellent alternative. No complaints, I was treated well and all my requirements were easily met.
I was very pleased with the service I was given from the hotel. The staff members were very attentive, polite and very helpfull. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the breakfast buffet was tasy and had a vast choice of international flavours, there were many amenties local. I would def stay there again:) a good choice
I had a really good time there and if i go to istanbul again, i'll definitely stay there. :) The location is very good and the stuff is very nice, always ready to help.
Location for our business trip Breakfast was a bit limited with now Orange juice available
Clean and friendly staff. Relatively low price. levent regional office was able to walk to work. Kanyon department stores and shopping centers such as Metro City if you can go for 5-10 minutes walking distance. Thin walls. There was noise. Cleaning staff did not speak English. She do not take tips. (t_t) I hope a lot of fruit in the morning menu.
The staff was extremely helpful but due to the language barrier(no English) that didn't always result in the required solution. WiFi connection was free, very fast and reliable. The bed was very uncomfortable (hard), street noise penetrated into the room (generators, airco's etc.). Lighting in the room was insufficient(desk) and very cold(energy-saving bare bulbs). TV had almost no English language channels (no CNN, CNBC, EuroNews, BBC etc.).The public spaces (except lobby) were not airconditioned. Breakfast was limited (f.i. no juice or other cold drinks). Biggest issue is that the hotel does not accept AMEX leading to a problem on checkout. Hotel bill was not itemized.
I was very pleased with the hotel, so conveniently located, with so amiable staff and for such a reasonable price. I will use the services of the hotel in my next visits to Istanbul.
The staff was very helpful and the neighborhood was full of restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The walls were very thin. You could hear anyone in the next room. The location is a bit far from the main tourist sights but public transportation is available.
