We loved everything. The bed was very comfortable. The room was beautiful and spacious and modern. The shower was amazing. It was huge and had 3 different shower heads. All of the staff was super friendly an amazing. The girl working the front desk upgraded us to a suite. without any charge just because we had mentioned it was date night when she asked us what brought us to Portland. The room we stayed in had floor-to-ceiling Windows which was so pretty at night. We have robes too. as a woman the other thing I loved was our shower head shampoo conditioner and body wash pumps on the wall. I normally bring my own shampoo and conditioner when I travel because in those little tiny bottles there's never enough product. So being able to use as much conditioner as I needed was a definite plus. We also had dessert at the restaurant which was super delicious. It was a gorgeous evening in the rooftop bar is lovely. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.
This was a complete random choice thru hotel tonight app but I could not leave once I saw the lobby : the citizens bakery and then the amazing room : I ended up extending my stay thru 9 more days! Great happy staff and excellent realistic affordable room rates made me continue to call this home / I'm happy there and I consider it my new Portland home when I'm in town Everything was awesome. Great gob everyone!
Loved the bedding. Slept great. I did not like the bathroom sliding door. To slide it open is heavy and unsafe when it is open. Almost walked into the mirror. It is beautiful though.
Helpful staff. Facility is due for renovations - they start next month.
Staff was super great! Room was clean. Great location. Worth every penny! The wifi only last 30 minutes unless you pay extra.
The bed was about the only good thing about the Red Lion. The location near the Moda Center is nice too! Loudest hotel ever!! Paper thin walls and a room by the elevator = Not a lot of sleep. $14 parking is ridiculous! Especially after paying for the overpriced room... The cleaning crew started cleaning rooms at 9am. So much for respecting their guest.. We've stayed at a handful of Red Lion hotels and this one is by far the WORST!! Save yourself some money and aggravation and book the Quality Inn across the street!
Total redo of an older hotel. Very modern. Love having the coffee shop downstairs to grab breakfast at in the am and the hotel restaurant upstairs in fantastic. Great location with easy access to the MAX train lines. No issues. The parking at $25/day is high.
The entire facility needs upgrading. As I walked into the lobby and down the halls it was shabby. The rooms however, were better than the common areas.
pleasant atmosphere courteous clean helpfu; to elderly couple prompt with service and recommendations overall - l a good experience would definitely stay again. nothing
Great location, great service, very comfortable and clean. Our original room had a small window frame gap which let a small amount of very cold air in (it was 30f outside). When we reported it to the front desk, they moved us to a separate room and even upgraded us to a bigger room. The second room didn't have the same problem. We were very pleased.
Not a lot. High price hotel with only the convention center to offer as an attraction. Not many attractions within walking distance. Auto rental was 3x what I usually pay I would not return to this hotel
Very easy access to the mass transit, easy walking distance to downtown Portland and Saturday market A bit industrial in that specific location, but not too much so.
Really enjoyed the salt water pool and hot tub. Also got a room with a great view of downtown. The bed was comfortable and the rest of the room was really clean. Only wish that it wasn't right next to the moda center. And they charge you $19 a night for parking, which is really ridiculous to me.
Great housekeeping, clean rooms, affordable prices. We thought this was closer to actual downtown, confusing name. the price of parking is ridiculous. We found free spots near the hotel but walking in the cold wasn't fun.
Coffee was okay in the room Kinda reasonably priced. Kind of dirty. Thin walls. There are much better places to stay in Portland.
Convention going on of young adults no longer with addictions. It was like walking through a lobby of street kids. Lots of people smoking right outside of the door. Loud music. Not the ideal group that the hotel should be hosting. Made me feel very uncomfortable and not safe.
The concierge/bellman Big Al was the best I have ever had, great guy, very informative, great representative of the hotel. Yes the AC in our room did not cool it down.
The room was small but clean and the bed was perfect. We got delicious chocolate cookies when checking in.
Hotel room was clean, bathroom was a good size. Never got the cookies when I checked in....kinda sucked. Bath tub was a little old looking. Location wasn't great if you're looking to do downtown portland.
Location is great - right next to a nice, big, mall, restaurants, a park across the street. Parking garage is covered and not overpriced. 2am woman screaming at BF in hallway but hotel security responded immediately and ended the drama quickly.
I enjoyed the friendly staff, and I also enjoyed the location! It's right in the middle of everything. I didn't try any of their restaurants but they are all places I would have considered if I had a bit bigger of a budget. There was alarms set off accidentally during my stay. Was inconvenient to leave my room when I was resting, but other than that it was good.
Rooms had a great view & lots of space
The hotel staff was the friendliest and most accommodating group of people. $25 per night valet parking was annoying
I like the staff. They were helpful and giving. Very nice and professional. The food was good as we had room service. I didn't like a 230am fire alarm that was tripped. I didn't like the fact Kayak did not express the 24.00 a night parking and valet. The front desk lady who was very nice at check in gave us 25.00 in food and drink vouchers. The valet also said street parking was free and available after a certain time. I tipped them good.
We travel to town to catch Portland trailblazers games at the Moda center and always prefer to stay here. The rooms aren't as up to date, stylish and updated as the lobby, restaurant and bar.
Nice hotel with outdoor space that has fire pit. Recommended.
For $250.00 plus tax for 1 person I would have liked an extended continental breakfast included in the room rate
Two Bedroom suite was excellent for 3 adults and 2 children (5 and 8). Breakfast facilities for a busy Saturday morning were cramped. Breakfast was good but crowed and not easy to manage with small children. This was a busy Saturday with a boys baseball team staying there -- but more space for breakfast would have made this a much better experience.
In room fireplace was great, close to everything, free parking
Location Paying for parking is a rip off. This is just a motel far from downtown.
It is very close to the airport. In spite of its proximity to the airport, very little about our stay seemed accommodating or helpful. The front desk person, Scott, said that we'd need to be upstairs if we wanted both of our rooms on the same floor. He failed to mention that there was no working elevator in the building. When we asked him about it, he almost seemed to blame us for choosing the second floor. He was rude, the entire hotel smelled of smoke, the carpets were dirty, and nothing looked updated since the 1960s when it was built. We only had a 15 hour layover, and still, I don't think I'd say here again if it was free.
It was a convenient location near the airport. Room was clean and the staff were friendly. It's nothing fancy but does the job if you just need a quick place to stay before heading to the airport. They have a airport shuttle option which is nice to use as long as its not full. Check-in early to secure a spot on the shuttle. We were counting on using the shuttle service but when we arrived all the shuttle spots were taken for a large portion of the morning. The only available shuttle was leaving at 3am and would arrive many, many hours earlier than we needed to be at the airport, which was unrealistic for me. (I cherish my sleep.) Later they ordered a second shuttle to accommodate everyone which would have been nice. However they did not inform us and we had already made other costly arrangements to get to the airport. It would have been nice to know that a second shuttle was even an option. The pool/gym are not great.
This hotel is perfect for an overnight before a flight. Fly and go parking. In the middle of renovations. A lot of dirt and grime. Even in the rooms.
Everything was well worth it for the price. Pillows!!! They were not very comfortable, very lumpy.
Very clean, friendly staff and a good rate. I had a good stay!
Low price for a night before flying out of PDX. Dirty rooms and stained linens, including likely bloodstain on the decorative bed cover. Weird lumps under the carpet. Overall, dingy, outdated and run down. Would not recommend unless desperate for a cheap room near the airport. I'd spend a little more next time to stay in a better place.
location, ease of check in/out. Very dated. Bedspread looked like an orgy had just taken place on it.
Close to airport Little old, needs updating
The room was comfortable and kept us warm during the cold snowy week. We needed to print a few things and the copies were free. I didn't like that we were charged twice for the hotel. We talked with the manager who was able to explain the situation and get the first charge reversed; the bummer is that it took 5-10 business days.
Service Paper thin walls
I needed a place close to the airport and it was great for that. But it was so dirty. The hallways and lobby were bad, so I hoped my room would be better. Not. Drawers were open, bedding was torn, carpet was nasty and the room wouldn't get cool. I wouldn't stay there again.
The price There is no elevator in this hotel
best price and clean enough. Room smelled a bit like perfume...probably for masking smoke smell. Opened windows and was fine.
The view from the top floor is gorgeous!
I chose it for the location and that was great - fit my needs perfectly
The location Max Rail was loud.
The room is nice and clean. The hotel has an old feel to it. Checkout was at 12pm. We decided to get breakfast before checking out at 8am. When we came back they has already started cleaning. I needed to use the bathroom and when I walked in everything was half cleaned and wet everywhere still. So disappointed with this. As I went to the bathroom the cleaning guy still proceeded to clean the room while my friend waited in the hallway. Weirdest experience ever...
The beds were super comfy, room was spacious, heater worked well and the staff were friendly. Location was perfect for us in walking distance to the moda centre, lloyd centre and the city train had a stop right out the front There was no faults to this accomodation.
Staff was wonderful. Very helpful with suggestions on what to see, where to eat. Close to the train and I-84. Will definitely stay again. Need one more trash can in the room. :-)
This is a great place to stay if you're not going to spend a lot of time in the room. If you're here for business, or to adventure off into Portland then it's an excellent location. The room is very basic, including a bed, desk, dresser, TV, bathroom, and air conditioning. It's not particularly fancy, and I felt my room was a bit dim even with all the lights on. It didn't bother me but some people may feel it looks a bit spooky. If you're looking for something fancy, look elsewhere. For what I paid I think the room and location was excellent. It's a great basic place to spend the night. I particularly didn't care at all, because I was falling asleep right away every night, but if you're a light sleeper, stay away!! The Portland Trimet system runs very efficiently and you'll be hearing a rumbling sound every ten minutes. My room's shower unit also had a water temperature handle that was labeled incorrectly, so cold and hot were reversed. Potentially dangerous. But at least it was a good, hot shower when adjusted properly.
For the price I didnt like much of anything. It was noisy all night from traffic or the transit system. Felt almost unsafe even with the door locked. This is a last resort if ya need a spot to stay.
It had a TV Im almost certain the desk clerk stole my debit card. Management refuses to believe it could have been him
The people who work here are beyond friendly and inviting. This hotel is also in a great location.
Smelly. Squeaky bed unsafe location
From check in, to check out, the staff, location, and environment was amazing and made our stay the best vacation had in years... The bacon blue burger could have had more blue cheese... But really, with that being the ONLY negative it's hardly worth mentioning!!!
The staff was wonderful. It's close to the airport, and the shuttle service was great. We stayed for two nights and, while the rooms were clean, they did not replenish the towels. The restaurant was very good, and the waitress was absolutely lovely. The area does not feel very safe. There is not a security patrol around the parking lot, and two cars were broken into, and items were stolen, including a car seat. One car simply had an empty McDonald's bag, and still had their window broken. That is Portland, though. You simply cannot leave anything in a car, or it will be broken into. I would not feel safe staying here without my husband.
Shuttle service and parking packages the best!
Responsiveness of staff; nice to have a frig and microwave; very clean room. Everything was fine!
The hotel is closely located to the airport and provides a very timely shuttle to and from the airport. The workers at reception are accommodating and the rooms are clean. Unfortunately, they don't offer any sort of continental breakfast in the morning. There is a restaurant next door, but unfortunately it wasn't open when I was looking for a piece of fruit and some toast in the morning. There were no luggage carts available when I first arrived which was an inconvenience as I was traveling with a lot of gear for work, and since I arrived late, reception was unable to assist me with my bags to my room.
We really liked how close the hotel is to the airport, how convenient it was to park our car while we flew, and the airport shuttle. The best part was the staff! The front desk people were SO friendly and helpful, the shuttle drivers were more than helpful and drove safely, and the restaurant staff went out of their way to be helpful. We'll stay again because the staff was so wonderful. We didn't like the bathrooms. The water in the shower didn't stay one temperature, ranging from painfully hot to freezing. The bathroom paint was old and the corners of the walls were full of grime. The vents were full of gunk as well. The beds were not very soft. The window curtains didn't close all the way and we had to prop a chair against them to keep them closed.
Comfortable quiet dark rooms for sleeping Breakfast needs to be available earlier or at least some cereal and fruit
Very good service
Our stay at the Red Lion Hotel was a good experience. The hotel is close to the airport and the staff is friendly.
Conveniently close to the airport; free shuttle; basic room, but it was clean Noisy much of the night
Staff was very efficient. Nothing
The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was definitely very well serviced by the standards of a typical 2 star hotel. The morning shuttle driver was incredibly friendly and helpful, and most of the staff I encountered were great. The hotel was fine as a place to crash for a single night. Unfortunately I had to stay for a couple nights, but it wasn't too bad even so. The air-freshener used in the hallway is the same one used by many porta-potty companies. Hence, the hallway reminded me of an outhouse. Might want to work on that.... The windows are NOT sound blocking - and the hotel is at the foot of the runway, so if jets bother you, this will be a problem (PDX is pretty quiet from 11pm to 5/6am though, luckily) There was an outdoor light mounted just outside my window that had an incredibly loud transformer hum, which was very very annoying. Walkability is incredibly low. You will need a car here if you want to go get food, unless you're cool with walking about a mile to the local restaurants (you can take the shuttle also, which I didn't do as I do like to walk and the weather was nice.) The rooms do NOT exclude external sounds very well. Doors slamming up and down halls are clearly audible and startlingly loud at times. Conversation of people walking by, etc. Overall, it's more that the hotel is ALMOST an excellent 2 star hotel than anything particularly bad.
When I called to confirm the morning of the stay, they had never heard of our KAYAK order and had no room
The two women at the front counter must have not been having a good day. Both were unfriendly. When my friend asked to clarify a signature on a form the woman at the counter told her as if deaf that the car owner needs to sign the form. The room was clean and big however the A/C made loud noises. You could hear the planes landing or taking off if A/C system was not on.
Great value for your money
Close to freeway and airport but without the noise. Big rooms, nice restaurant & lounge. Indoor pool and spa was fantastic.
I liked the location close to the airport and the value. Hotel had a free shuttle to the airport and free breakfast. Felt a little dated, but generally ok. Breakfast could have been a bit earlier - I didn't get to take advantage of that, as I left shortly after 6 am.
The staff was friendly and helpful with maps of the area and suggestions for transportation. The hotel was close to the airport and our room was big and very clean. I expected to hear more of the planes taking off, but didn't. The bed was very comfortable. I was surprised when I opened the curtains and had a view of many spider webs outside the window, hanging off the eaves on the 4th floor. Breakfast the next morning was disappointing and dry, with eggs that were square and looked a bit like styrofoam.
A courteous shuttle driver picks you up at the airport (and drops you off again when your stay is over). Reception is polite and efficient and the rooms are clean, well-appointed and reasonably large. Breakfast is just OK but it's free. I stayed on two separate nights recently. I had to leave at 5AM the second time, which was too early for my free breakfast. Bummer.
We stayed for one night at his hotel. We had dropped someone off at the airport at 7 am and we're just driving around Portland looking for something to do until we could check into the hotel at 3pm, I decided to call about noon and we were able to check in early that was such a life saver we were so tired!! The breakfast INCLUDED in the room rate was more than I expected, Hot omelets, potatoes and sausage as well as normal hotel breakfast items. It was a great stay and the price made it even better! Will most definitely be going back if we need to stay in Portland again.
Nice big room, clean, near airport. Paper and plastic cups for coffee and water.
Great place. My wife is very picky and she was happy. Good breakfast and very clean. A little old but very clean
Staff was accommodating enough. Breakfast was not good. Biscuits and gravy with what looked like the prior days leftovers. Pool was green and so cloudy that you couldn't see the bottom. The staff said that they had "just tested the water and it was fine." There is no way it was fine! Our little one looks forward to the pool time and there was no way we could have swam without major health risks. The rooms are shabby and not Cleaned well, lots of hair left through and crumbs on the sofa. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! We left after the first night!
Location, price, diining Noisy; motors or fans made sleeping difficult at times
location room service
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the airport shuttle service was very convenient, room service was very reasonable, and the view of Mt. Hood was nice too.
The number king bed was uncomfortable, hard and the control device hardly worked. The staff was friendly and responded to you requests quickly. Near the airport and Portland.
Excellent front desk staff. Excellent food staff. Very clean room. Good shuttle service to airport.
Very comfortable beds, lovely rooms, included hot breakfast. Free shuttle to and from the airport, which I also used to access the Max, which is the transit system that can take you downtown. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice rooms and friendly staff Ordered room service and received beer that was less then desirable. ( Bottom of the keg)
The staff here were top-notch. Very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler. Honestly, I can't say a bad word about the place.
Easy to get to from the airport. The room was large and the free nt desk staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of parking. Nice snacks available in the morning. Halls were very dark, and the bathroom faucet was old and difficult to use. There aren't many choices for restaurants nearby. The price seemed high for a basic airport hotel, but hotel prices in Portland are high in general.
Clean hotel and beds and rooms were amazing! The location was slightly far from the places we wanted to be but the hotel was worth staying at. One particular staff gave me a bad experience; They were busy with checking people in and I understood that and I didn't mind waiting . All I bought was floss a bottle opener and ice cream. After a long period of waiting he was ready to ring me up, he had no problem finding the prices for the ice cream and floss but could not find the price for the bottle opener. I could see he was getting frustrated with finding it because he felt tension as the line for check in grew larger and impatient. He then said out loud "I'm just going to charge you 3.00 cause this is wasting my time" not only did I feel offended but I also was slightly pissed but I didn't show it I gave him my money and left. 3 dollars for a bottle opener and he said I was a waste of time because I wasn't checking in? Someone needs to teach him that customers that are checking in,already checked in , and customers checking out are all equal.
This hotel was terrific in every way. Comfortable room (if you need the accessible room like we did it is very well laid out), good food, free guest laundry, coffee in the lobby, nice gym, quiet location and most of all wonderful staff.
We were traveling with an 8 month old and they set us up so that everything was easy access and quiet. We greatly appreciated their hospitality.
The location was extremely convenient for going across the river (by bus or car) to the Pearl, Nob Hill and Downtown districts. Also, the immediate vicinity was good, as the hotel is very near to the Jupiter Hotel and Doug Fir Lounge and Restaurant, which has good breakfasts and a nice nighttime bar. The rooms were clean and functional - and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I give this hotel my top rating! No complaints.
Vintage motel in great location with friendly staff. Don't expect fancy little soaps, room service or marble countertops. Lots of fun places nearby, good bus and bike connections.
Staff is friendly Beds are mediocre. Sheets and mattress both
Great location, close to downtown. Staff was friendly, rooms appeared clean. A little noisy at night. The room smelled heavily of perfumed air freshener. The bathroom had what appeared to be fruit flies.
The best part about it is the location, which is right in the heart of downtown Portland. Clean enough, though not anything fancy. Seemingly nice staff. Noisy. A little sketchy. Didn't feel 100% safe there.
Clean, comfortable room, excellent desk service, location was where I needed it to be... not a 4 star hotel, but it didn't need to be. Perfect.
great location, nice staff, newly renovated, clean. the bathroom is a little dated.
The staff was very accommodating, they allowed us to check in a few hours before check in time so that we could freshen up and explore the city! The location of this motel was great, we could have walked to the convention center (where we attended comic con, the reason for our visit), and most uber rides downtown were around 7-10 dollars! There were also a few decent restaurants within walking distance! I definitely recommend breakfast and J and M. While the actual location of the hotel was great, it did get a bit noisy at night, with or without open windows.
Great location. Free WiFi. No frills. Minimal room, but comfortable beds with good service and a clean atmosphere. It's an older motel, so it definitely has a run-down feel. For my trip (visiting Portland with a friend to go enjoy the city, nightlife, etc) this was perfect. It's confusing to find parking (small lot) and to get around the motel.
The front desk was very friendly. Close to Moda Center and restaurants. We had no hot water in the morning. The breakfast bar was now replenished in a timely manner. We are supposed to be getting a 50% refund from you because we had no hot water.
The place was clean, beds were comfy, the staff was nice and the location was good - stayed for Kumoricon, was about a five minute walk from the convention center, and the sauna was nice~ Free breakfast was scarce, poor water pressure for the shower, old building - no elevator (friends and I had lots of luggage), the key cards don't work at times - sometimes it took one try to get into the room other times it took up to 10 tries.
Great location, clean room, friendly staff. Bathroom setup was tight and awkward.
I have stayed here every time I have come to Portland for a Blazers game since 2013. This hotel always has wildly different pricing, when I booked this room the Shilo site was advertising $120, I paid $80 on Kayak. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Moda Center and the streetcar stop is right out front. Rooms are always clean and never get the "Oh crap, bedbugs" vibe. Bagels with no cream cheese?? Really guys? And a 19" CRT? Pop for a TV from this century, even The Campus Inn in Eugene has LCD's.
The bathroom wax clean and looks new Might need to update the blanket covers
Location is very nice - a lot of public transportation in walking distance. It smells like an old hotel...
Ample free parking, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, I didn't like having to go through the lobby to get to my room.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet. Good location - convenient to everything we wanted to see. Free parking. Really nice staff. I wish check-in was earlier. Most places have some flexibility there. But, it's a smaller place and if they can't, they can't.
Out of Downtown, but very close. Near Light-Rail and Max lines. Several breweries nearby and soooo close to the Pearl District. Older facility, needs some upgrades. Entrance is hard to navigate with crutches, walker or wheelchair.
-Location -Price is cheaper than surrounding hotels -Convenient access to I-5 -Very dated -Good price for the location, but this is not a $200/night hotel -TV, iron, furniture, etc should all be replaced and updated -Not the cleanest place I've stayed at
Breakfast Locks on the door. Toddler kept getting out. Needs a chain lock on the top. Found a dirty sock on the floor from the last guest. Coffee stains on the comforter also not ours. Beds were very uncomfortable. I felt like the beds were made and not changed.
Comfortable bed. Clean No abc, cbs, or nbc. Had to go to the crowne plaza to watch badketball. Staff did not acknowledge us. Staff put leftover guest butter out for breakfast.
ExcEllenton rooms that were big and clean Not a lot of food options close by
Room was above some machines that ran all night. I could not sleep because of the noise.
Fast check in Hotel room was very small, bad neighborhood, no vending machines on property, maintenance needed on shower head, blood on towels and very limited.... coffee pot in room not washed after previous people.and no elevators..no bed spread on bed..just overall not worth the money
The bed was SO COMFORTABLE. In fact, we are now looking to buy a foam mattress for home, because our two nights on their bed were so comfy. The room was clean and had no strange smells (I have allergies), the bathroom was inviting, the staff was great, prompt and friendly. The airport shuttle helped a lot both times we used it. The complimentary breakfast was an added plus, especially since had to catch flight, no time to stop for breakfast. no comment
Nithing Scratchy sheets, dirty place, limited airport shuttle, new employee couldn't handle "negative emotion" from me. He said it out loud. Rude
Nice mattresses, friendly helpful staff Pool was closed even though listed as an amenity. Breakfast room was very crowded, but the staff kept it well stocked.
If you want a room to sleep in and bathroom to wash up in, this is the best deal around! The staff members were super friendly and easy to work with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, this was perfect for my needs.
Pool with balcony/porch views Kayak does not specify that you are given a pet friendly room until after you are booked- some people are allergic to dander- pet inclusive rooms should be a segregated category and made prominent before a non cancellable reservation is made
The location was central to the air port and stadium. The parking lot was littered with beer cans. The room next to ours was rented to a group of teenagers throwing a party. Loud music and yelling/laughing/smoking out of the balcony/slamming doors/pounding on the walls until 5am. We called the front desk 4+ times asking to be moved or to have the party kicked out, neither of which happened. We only got 2 hours of sleep. The next morning we asked for a refund for the night and to let us cancel our reservation to move to a different hotel but we were told that only a manager can give out refunds. This was Saturday morning-so no manager would be onsite for 4 days? Getting only 2 hours sleep ruined our entire day.
They had a room when other hotels were all booked up. I found out why they had a room the staff was quite bad. I was given room 239 , my keys didn't work, so I returned to the lobby and the clerk said he had keyed the the cards for room 229, so he programmed them for room 239 as he had written and told me. I went back to room 239 and the new keys worked , except the room was occupied. I went back to the lobby and this time I was given 229 . This resolved the room issue. The next morning I went to the lobby at 4 am for my shuttle for my flight, the clerk checked and said I was not on the list for the shuttle, which I had been added to the previous night. I did eventually get on the shuttle, but I fear at another unhappy passengers expense. Overall I would not recommend them to anyone.
good water pressure. breakfast was decent Heater didnt work and the TV and Internet was in and out.
Location... Close to PDX Airport and I84
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the upkeep of the hotel is terrific. As I checked in, one family was enjoying themselves in the pool while another was sitting down to a take-out meal in the breakfast room. Quiet and clean and comfortable -- everything I needed for a business trip. There isn't much in the way of dining options or culture within walking distance, but presumably guests will have their own cars.
Awesome breakfast and great location! Not very good air circulation in rooms.
We always stay here when visiting Portland friends or for a reasonably priced hotel that is convenient to Portland by-pass freeway and Southeast Portland neighborhoods like Sellwood. Near tram stop to downtown and much easier than staying in the central city.
The room was wonderful! We got the king size suite room. The room had a separate living area with a bar which was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. There was a back stair way that lead us right to our door which was very convenient. We will definitely make this our #1 hotel chain. They were switching out the cable boxes during our stay so we were without tv for a few hours. However, the front desk manager did inform us of the change during check in so we had no issues with the interruption.
Location to the MAX, accessibility, cleanliness, and spaciousness. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable, but it wasn't a serious issue to me.
Staff was excellent. We got out of the ordinary services and I have already complimented the staff member who was especially helpful. Breakfast was great and the location near the airport really makes it convenient. No complaints.
Well appointed hotel with very nice lobby/bar/dining area in a large atrium with rooms surrounding it. Very comfortable suite. Telephone and alarm clock were not working, which was inconvenient, but they responded quickly to fix them.
valuable price.good bed. air noise from the main door.
Very nice, clean nicely furnished room. Better route to Cascade station shops. Daily charge for internet access.
Comfortable. Good breakfast. Clean.
The room was very nice and if my wife with me I know she love it mite she room could have been lil bigger Ah little more bigger room that it
Rooms are wonderful, staff was great. Having to check out
Close to the airport, efficient shuttle service, clean hotel, friendly staff
Business hotel near airport and shopping. Internet works well, staff is responsive and you can walk to a couple of restaurants and big box stores. It has a bar and small menu if you don't feel like leaving. Pool and workout room. Everything you need for a few days or week long business trip or weekend getaway. Close to public transportation if you want to go downtown and don't want to drive.
Excellent hotel. Bathroom seperates room from hallway very quiet. For business traveler. Quick and easy close to airport.
Walking distance to several restraints and stores
The music in the pool area made me forget everything else exists
Comfortable beds Good shower Blackout shades Relatively quiet Near IHOP Terrible configuration of room. No light in bathroom separate from whole sink area, which complete lights up bedroom where others are sleeping. Blow dryer provided, but no plug in bathroom except way behind microwave - so had to totally dismantle microwave in order to blow dry my hair. Shuttle took FOREVER to come and front desk staff kept saying "they'll be here soon", which just pissed us off more than if they'd managed expectations with honesty.
Loved the large rooms and views. Also loved the green options for shampoo and body wash and am a big fan of Bliss products Beds could have been more comfortable
Everyone on the staff was very helpful. They respected our desire for privacy and took care of everything we requested promptly and graciously.
I just stayed one night due to having a very early flight next day. This is a very modern hotel with a boutique hotel feel. There is a bar in the lobby but I didn't see a restaurant but they have a snack bar but it's best described as an open air mini-bar with the high prices - no complementary snacks to guests. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were modern and very clean. The bed very comfortable, sheets clean and soft. Around 8-9pm they have live music in the lobby so my suggestion is to get a higher floor to avoid any loud music filtering into your room. It's in Cascade Station which is an open air mall with some big box stores (Target, Best Buy etc) includes a few restaurants including Red Robin which is super popular. The hotel provides shuttles to and from the airport. Like any airport hotel, some airplane noise will get into the room but hotel has good insulation so it's minimal. Their open air snack bar is really an open air expensive mini-bar - no complimentary snacks to guests if only just one time.
