Rusland har begrænset indrejsen for alle rejsende, der ikke er russiske statsborgere, fastboende, bosiddende med opholdstilladelse, flybesætningsmedlemmer, diplomater, medlemmer af internationale organisationer med hjemsted i Rusland og rejsende, hvis besøg vedrører en direkte slægtnings død. Fra den 22. december til den 12. januar har Rusland suspenderet flyvninger til og fra Storbritannien i en periode på en uge. Den russiske regering tillader udlændinge at få lægebehandling eller at tage sig af deres familie i Rusland. Rejsende med et nært familiemedlem, som er russisk statsborger, kan rejse ind i landet, men skal fremlægge dokumentation for deres forhold. Rejsende kan rejse gennem russiske lufthavne, så længe de ikke kommer ind i landet. Statsborgere og bosiddende i Storbritannien, Hviderusland, Cuba, Egypten, Etiopien, Japan, Kasakhstan, Kirgisistan (rejser ikke med fly SU1883 og SU1895), Maldiverne, Serbien, Grækenland, Singapore, Seychellerne, Sydkorea, Schweiz, Tanzania, Tyrkiet, UAE, der ankommer direkte fra deres land og ikke via et tredjeland har tilladelse til at rejse ind i Rusland, forudsat at de har et gyldigt visum, kan demonstrere deres statsborgerskab eller ophold og overholde andre adgangskrav.
Udenlandske rejsende skal have en helbredsgodkendelse med et negativt PCR-testresultat for coronavirus (COVID-19) udstedt inden for 72 timer før ankomst. Lægeattesten skal udstedes på russisk eller engelsk. En notarbekræftet oversættelse til russisk accepteres.
Rejsende, der rejser ind i Rusland i permanent arbejdsøjemed, herunder indehavere af HQS-visa, er underlagt 14 dages selvisolation ved ankomsten. Alle andre gæster skal ikke selv isolere sig, hvis de ankommer med et regelmæssigt planlagt fly, forudsat at de kan fremvise et negativt testbevis. Rejsende, der ikke fremlægger ovennævnte dokumentation, skal selv tage en PCR-test for COVID-19 for egen regning senest tre dage efter ankomsten til Rusland. Hvis rejsende imidlertid udvikler symptomer COVID-19 og/eller tester positive for COVID-19, skal de selvisolere indtil de er helbredt og testet negative for COVID-19 på en PCR-test. Rejsende fra Storbritannien skal gå i karantæne i 14 dage.

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "There was a steaward who was not very friendly whenever I asked for something which was a right he would make faces. He even passed my row and did not serce us and I had to ask the steawrd of the other aisle who was very friendly and nice. I was very desappointed by his behaviour. It was my first time on Turkish Airlines."

Ulemper: "I had a 22 hour layover. On the website, Turkish Airlines advertises they cover hotel rooms for anyone with a layover exceeding 15 hours. However, it's impossible to get a e-visa to allow Americans to leave the airport to take advantage of this. There is one hotel inside the airport, however it's extremely expensive and booked well in advance. While the service was decent on the plane, inside the airport the TA employee's were very rude and not at all helpful. So be prepared to spend the night on the floor or an uncomfortable bench. Won't fly on this airline ever again."
Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "We were traveling with our 1 year old. On any other flight, we've been given seats with extra legroom and a bassinet when available. Turkish airlines put us crammed in a window and middle seat for a 9 hour flight. It was absolutely un-doable. Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

Ulemper: "You could be choose food... one of the dish was only pasta... what about the people who's allergic? I am... The business class crew was very stuck up! Totally looked down at people who wasn't in the business class... The Aircraft has no AC that you could adjust air blowing on you! It was incredibly hot the whole time !"

Ulemper: "I didn't like all the miscommunication at the airport due to cancelled flights. I spent two days in atlanta as well as three days in the istanbul airport. Out of two weeks of vacation I ended up spender at least six of them b in the airport. Istanbul was total chaos. I understand that the weather was a major factor but the Turkish employees should be better trained in how to handle such crisis and be able to better direct people were to go. Having to pay out of pocket m ok Neyland for food at the airport was ridiculous."

Ulemper: "The cabin crew were no where to be seen most of the flight at all. Our food trays remained at our seat for far longer than any other flight or airline that I have been on. At the end, people were getting up to go to the flight attendants to give them their trays of food. Overall, the service left alot to be desired."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "Flight was 3 hours delayed due to technical problems. Then it was moved up 40 min without enough time to have someone get back for boarding. Barely made the flight."
Fordele: "Well, maybe except of these "preferred sitting" arrangement. The sit was in front of open space and restrooms. Constantly people were standing and waiting for the restroom. Their butts were literally at the "preferred sited" passengers faces. I felt, I would be way more happy in a regular sit."
Ulemper: "Such sits should not be declared preferred and cost more."

Ulemper: "The seat - window by request, but it was in front of an emergency exit The seat - is jammed in - very tight - could not put it back to relax, and could not relax my left side by the window. My left shoulder and arm and left hip started hurting - couldn't sleep - took 2 days to get rid of the numbness in my arm. I asked to move, and it became obvious that there were many empty seats in the next section behind. I moved, and my comfort improved. Why was I given such a posture killer - especially on such a very long flight with seats to spare?"

Ulemper: "Flight was continually delayed, 15 by 15 minutes until 4 hours had elapsed."
Ulemper: "Check in very confusing, switched gates on me but I didn’t get the text until later, after take off. No announcement over the PA system in the airport. If my son, who was picking me up, hadn’t been tracking my flight, I would have missed it."

Ulemper: "Almost was late for our flight, because it took us over 1 hour to pass the passport control at the Frankfurt airport. It was terribly organized and understaffed which caused other people to miss their flight. My husband and I ended up running to our gate like mad men and we were the last to board right before they closed the gate. Very stressful and frustrating!!! Other than that the flight was ok. We were surprised that we were served a dinner right after we took off, but the hot entree was bad, so we ended up asking the flight attendant bring us more bread so we filled up on that."

I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."

Ulemper: "Flight was overbooked, so a few delays (as they were asking if anyone would layover to release a seat) and they were being very strict on the one bag per traveller, but that’s fair enough considering it was busy."

Ulemper: "I could not reserve seats via Kayak, through whom the flight was booked. I paid extra for seat reservations, about $30 for a plain economy seats, to Austrian Airlines."
Fordele: "Everything was great. Lovely and efficient crew. Sound not good on films but we were in economy so maybe just the disposable earbuds. A small point and didn’t spoil an otherwise great service."

Fordele: "Love the 767 seating layout with 2-3-2 seating. My hubby and I got 2 by the window/aisle. I like having 2 aisles for walking around. Pasta meal was much more tasty than the chicken meal."
Ulemper: "No free wi-fi. But, that wasn't a big deal. Just seemed unusual. If they did have it, they didn't let you know about it."

Ulemper: "The flight attendants did a satisfactory job of distributing meals and snacks only if you were awake during their service round. I was resting on one occasion and missed the snack. I was total ignored when I asked for a serving. The boarding process was disorganized and the flight was delayed about an hour. Seat way too small for transatlantic. I weight 62kg and was sitting in a middle seat. Next time I'll have to get an upgrade."
Fordele: "It would be nice to see AUA learning from other airlines on how to board a plain. To date it is chaotic, unorganized, messy and unnecessarily unfriendly. Interestingly enough it compares well to the non-existing system for lining up at Skilifts in Austria: Use force to squeeze everybody around you or cheat your way in sidewise. Not exactly my cup of tea."
Fordele: "Food, wine, crew, physical comfort were outstanding. Excellent overall! Austrian continues to abide by the highest standards. After 14 years it still is one of our two favorite airlines in the world."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, cramped. Passengers kept lining up only to be sent back to the end of the line after documents were checked three separate times. Only first class passengers were allowed at the gate. Chaotic and frustrating. Not what one would expect of Austrian efficiency!"
Fordele: "Boarding was efficient and quick"

Ulemper: "Not a lot of legroom and they should have provided an additional snack during the flight. Did not like that in order to select a seat prior to the check in period I had to pay for the selection."

Ulemper: "Boarding on the return flight was poorly handled as there was no organized boarding."

Ulemper: "I paid a premium to book a direct flight (ages ago) and then had to rerouted last minute (same day) with no reason given other than "it's our fault". I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."
Fordele: "The flight was good, the food was good, the crew was excellent"
Ulemper: "The wheel on my luggage was broken (it was fine the whole trip). I had to throw out my bag after I got it home"
Fordele: "Not at all a comfortable experience, but I suppose it served its purpose."
Ulemper: "Seats in economy class are way too crowded, plane was too warm and air was stale (and had an odd odor). Choices of dinner selections ran out quickly, and serving any type of curry (the only option left) on an 8 hour flight is a very questionable choice.... Staff gave some people the full can of drinks, while others only a half glass. Also, even though there was not much turbulence throughout the flight, the plane was still VERY shaky for the majority of the time in the air. Not very comforting for those who are not frequent flyers. In the future, I plan to stick with British Airlines."
Fordele: "We appreciated the upgrade to business as we are frequent travellers on Austrian; the flight attendants were very patient and kind with our children"
Ulemper: "Food too salty; would've liked to see English subtitles for German language movies"
Ulemper: "Flight to Vienna cancelled. Driven to Munich instead. 6 hour wait until flight to Nice. Arrived 8 hours later than scheduled."
Fordele: "I was offered to change my flight for 400 Euros, and did so. Had the offer been for less money, I would not have. I was told that the chance of my losing the new seat was minimal, as the computer was very overbooked and rarely wrong. I was then told at the gate that I had to wait there, and did so, despite having already checked into a lounge (for a fee), because I needed to print a bank bill (my reason for going to Moscow from Vienna, not directly home from Vienna to New York, is to pay a fee into an account at the bank). So I waited, and in the meantime contacted my friend in Moscow to tell him I'd be arriving 10 hours later than planned. Then at the very last minute that 2 people who had booked for the flight had not appeared, and that I had to board it. Hugely frustrating on account of the endless assurances made."
Fordele: "Easy travel nice plane."
Ulemper: "Not enough leg room for long flight."
Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."
Fordele: "The crew were great! The seats are not that comfortable, it happened that I had 3 seats raw for myself but the armrests were not going up so I could not utilize them and lie down to sleep."
Fordele: "Pumpkin soup instead of a heavy entree was welcome and tasty. Breakfast yogurt portion was generous, the granola less so. Accompaniments were good. Butter was not ice cold, thank goodness."
Ulemper: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."
Fordele: "The crew from Kili to DarEsSalam was tired. A fresh crew worked from DarEsSalam to AMS and they were great."
Ulemper: "The boarding process was chaotic. The passengers in the first boarding group had to fight through the crowd because there were no boarding lanes."

Ulemper: "Not able to charge my digital devices. When serving beverages and food, the same flight attendant missed me a few times. That was annoying but other attendants were very nice."
Fordele: "The aircraft felt clean and quite spacious (decent legroom). Cabin crew was friendly and everything went as expected. Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."
Ulemper: "Very odd queue separation at boarding. Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Fordele: "All cabin crew were courteous. Refreshments were light. Check stuff were helpful, they did devise that the flight was full and due to space hand luggage would prefer to be put in hold free of charge. We did not have any problem with this. Plane was clean."

Ulemper: "Crowded seating, 20-year old video system, headphones that did not match the two-jack system, lackluster service in flight. Generally my experience with KLM has been good, but this was well below average."

Ulemper: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."
Fordele: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
Ulemper: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."
Fordele: "The flight was delayed due to fog, but the staff was amazingly helpful to make sure everyone got to their destination."

Ulemper: "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."
Fordele: "It was a short flight so it was O.K."
Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."
Fordele: "It's the best flight I could get for such a low price. But don't expect to to get the best and newest planes around but it's still overall a good experience."
Ulemper: "Quite bummed that the flight didn't have wifi / USB):"
Ulemper: "Luggage (being handled by Air France in Basel) was first marked as delayed... nothing of the flight was in the end put on the belt and instead dropped off at Lost and Found. Ridiculous service since this was in no way announced to the people waiting for their suitcase."
