Alternativt kan politikken opnås i forsikringsdiskerne ved ankomsten til Rafik Hariri International Airport-Beirut.

Ulemper: "Our grievance is with ground crew at BEY airport and AMM. 1 piece of lugagge was left in AMM though it was checked connecting from our previous flight. Upon arrival we were told they would contact us. After a long back and forth as we did not have a local number, they tried to dismiss us by saying someone would whatsapp us to let us know when the luggge has arrived. SPOILER ALERT: they never did. We insisted on finding out more and after being pressed they admitted they had received a note from AMM airport that the piece of luggage would arrive in the next flight (5 hours later). We returned later on and found we needed a special permit at BEY airport, only the person on the piece of luggage was allowed back in. Upon receiving the permit, staff continued to press for a name of who confirmed the luggage was there, we told them they had confirmed earlier. I was allowed inside and found the piece of luggage still on the belt though the flight had landed 3 hours earlier and the carousel was being used for another flight. Apparently they don’t bother to check or act on the messages until the end of the day. Finally, we had to argue to be compensated and received $30 USD for our troubles even though they should have offered this as standard practice."

Though it might be the most expensive usd/mile flown. not sure what mea's problem is."

Reached 20 mns late. The gate was closed. There was no one in the office. I had to sit and wait for zero outcomes. I had to book another flight"

Due to delay in takeoff we were sitting on tarmac for 40 mins. I saw people being served but several people did not. Should make the process more formal. Also serving nuts or pretzels to go with the first drink would be nice."
Fordele: "The plane was Old !! We, Stevo and me Julie were scared but glad the trip will be over. We did not know the rules that MK had as far as how much $ and golden jewlery one can have befor you had to report it. Thank God we did not have to give up anything."

Ulemper: "I had to take flight from San Juan to JFK on Jet Blue seperate ticket that supposed to leave san juan 5:26 am and get to JFK at 9:18 am , Jet Blue got delayed 5 houres due to the weather , when i got to JFK i went to the counter of Turkish Airlines to re book on another flight , i was attended by Indian look manager , he was very very very nasty with me and he told that the Turkish Airlines had cancelled my ticket and his comment to me ( you boughtyour ticket socheap there fore you need to pay $1650 dollar for new ticket and there is not gurranted i will be takig the next scheduled flight and i have to waite for thenextday ) he was very nastuy, so i went to Emirates Airlines and i bought a new tickets for $1475 dollar and ileft JFKwithen twohours , now when i want to retune from Lebnon i caled Turkish Airkines and they had informed that they cancelled my return ticktes as well , when the plane was delayed in san juan Puerto Rico Jet Blue manager in San Juan call Turkish Airlines to exolaine the situatuion and the agent had confirmed that i will be rebbok on another flight. I lst my ticket with Turkish and i will never recommend this Airline to no one from now on. I,m asking if i can use the monry that i had paid if i can rebook future flight , please do something i lost my tickets with Turkish and i had to pay $1475 dollar on Emirates , NO one seems to care .I have all the proof thatJet Blue gave me the boarding pass on Turkish after the station manager in San Juan called Turkish and they authorized him to print my boarding pass ( i have it all) unfortunatly Turkish refused to helo. Fordele: "The only things that going for Turkish Airline is the cabin crew (lord knows they try), food and in-flight entertainment."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed for nearly 2 hrs, that in itself is not an issues, traffic delays do happen. However, the fact that captain choose not to run air conditioning to save fuel and main cabin, even after numerous requests, was 95 degrees for 2 hrs combined with the fact that airline did not submitted travel information to US Border Protection that also added another 1.5 hrs to clear customs is totally unacceptable... Although THY has the most direct route to/from Moldova from Houston, in the future, I'll most likely will spend more money and more time just to avoid it..."
Fordele: "Having every single person I spoke with pass me on to another party. Apparently customer complaints is really no one's job. They're extremely motivated to have you find someone else to correct your problem. Rest assured it is "your problem" I was told quite explicitly that my missed connection flight and lost luggage was not their problem."
Ulemper: "They lost my luggage. Couldn't even tell me when my bag was checked despite the scan tag they attached to my boarding pass when they weighed it and checked it in back in New York. They legitimately had no idea if my bag ever left the United States. It took 3 days to locate my baggage while I was trying to celebrate my anniversary with my wife in Athens. being without your luggage for half a week in a foreign country is not even remotely fun. I had to wait around missing tours and reservations trying to find our luggage most of our first 48 hours in Greece. After giving up on getting our stuff we had to waste a chunk of time shopping to replace our clothing and toiletries. Despite having purchased the travel insurance I'm still fighting a month after our trip ended to be reimbursed for the clothes we had to buy just to begin our vacation. Again they continue to stonewall by transferring our complaint calls endlessly and forwarding our emails with "new" case numbers each time. Basically what this accomplishes is they can't ever find the case number they updated it to and insist that the prior case number is listed as resolved. Since they say it's resolved there is nothing anyone can do to help. Not sure if I'll ever get any satisfaction out of this debacle."
Fordele: "I appreciate the food service -- receiving two full meals for the 12-hour flight is critical to maintaining a relatively good mood."
Ulemper: "I didn't like that the ticket desk doesn't know the regulations on what deices are or are not allowed on the aircraft. I really didn't like having my e-reader taken away from me when changing planes in Istanbul (with no explanation as to what was happening or how I'd get it back) nor the fact that over 200 people had to pick up devices at JFK and only two employees were retrieving them."

Ulemper: "My luggage just disappeared on my second leg to Istanbul. 2 email notifications that luggage was not found. Wrong contact phone number at initial report and was not addressed despite report and upload. Also a representative emailed that luggage was erroneously recorded as "delivered" which is not true. I still don't have my luggage after 14 days. No further responses despite extensive documentation and receipts. This is bad!!!"

Ulemper: "Boarding was a nightmare, no lines were formed, people were not kept in order People were boarding with oversized luggage and it was allowed by the crew People were talking at a very loud voices across the cabin and staff never intervened Many people were standing during the landing and were opening the overhead compartments, staff never intervened I am allergic to cheese and there was no replacment"
Fordele: "I love how there is wifi on the long flights,great movies,food taste so good and the crew is so nice and helpful. I've tried Turkish Airline few years ago and since then I haven't changed my airline and I book with them to all my family :)"
Ulemper: "I always fly with my dog and he goes with me down by my feet so this could always be uncomfortable cause it's tight and not much place so I wish they give a little better seat for people who travel with their pets on board."
Fordele: "- No security lines when transiting at Istanbul. - Generally well organized. - Decent food and drinks selection on board. - Choice of Turkish and French wine in Economy. - About the same on other points as other leading airlines."
Ulemper: "- At Istanbul no long chairs for taking a nap during long connections when arriving on a red-eye flight (like they have at CDG or Dubai or many other airports). Overall, very crowded airport. - The plane had older entertainment system with no USB port to charge-up the cell phone nor a power outlet."

Ulemper: "These were probably the most uncomfortable seats I've ever flown in. I'm only 6 ft 1 inch, so I'm not unusual. I could not sit with my knees facing front; I had to splay them out. The tray table would not come all the way down flat before it hit my knees. If there were a lower rating than poor, the seats would have won it; Movies were among the worst ever. where do you get them?"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "I was at the end of a long flight, so exhausted and feel sea sick. I cannot give good comments for this since it was short but a little bumpy flight , i almost throw up at the end."

Ulemper: "The airline cancelled my ticket and did not notify me. I found out only when I arrived to check my bag. Lufthansa cancelled my flight because they said I had “no showed” for my previous flight two weeks before. This was absolutely not true."

Worst transatlantic coach experience I’ve had in years, including budget airlines."

Ulemper: "Frankfurt Airport check lines too long. Only half of security checking stations opened. Hundreds waiting in line and the lines moved too slow. After passing the long lines of security checks, you come to passport checking stations. only 1 out of 3 available stations is manned. Again, lines too long and barely moving. Probably many missed their flights while waiting to go through passport checks. We lost almost 2 hours between security and passport checks. Airport personnel were unfriendly, they did show any care towards the hundreds that are herded like sheep in long lines. They could have eased this backlog of people by manning all their available stations but they did not. Will try not to go through this airport in the future."
Ulemper: "The gate was changed a few times.. very hard if you have connecting flights"
Ulemper: "Gate changed ast minute so we had to walk a long way to get to it with 3 kids. Airplane with no entertainment at all. Also the worst was getting to Beirut without 2 of our bags. We got one of them 1 day later and the second 5 days after. When we got the second bag few of our things were gone."

Ulemper: "Reclining seats. Great for you but not the person behind you. It puts the screen about 10 inches from your face when the person in front of you reclines and it's impossible to lean forward and rest your head on the tray."

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Movie choices on flight to Munich were great. Smooth flight, I didn't lose my bag so that was great too!"
Ulemper: "Rude crew member. One bad apple ruins the whole bunch. I pre selected my sest at check in on line but got different seat. Not sure why but that was uncalled for. Boarding was 35 minutes late because flight arrived late also. The lady that boarded us was nice and funny."
Fordele: "The organization of this flight was great— my party of three boarded quickly, and we were pleased with the complimentary drinks service. The entertainment options could have presented with more options, however, I was not upset with what I watched. The crew was very attentive, and the flight was smooth, overall."
Ulemper: "The temperature of the plane was very hot— there were a lot of us packed into this flight, and there were no sources of air.. so it got pretty stuffy. Between the temperature and the lights staying on for a majority of the flight, it was difficult to sleep, especially for so many hours. In addition to this, I had a dairy allergy, and was not able to eat either of the meals I was offered, because the fish and “veggie pasta” were both covered in cheese."

Sent to Newark, NJ & missed the next flight to Dallas because Lufthansa lost my scooter. Someone pulled it by a wire and it doesn't run correctly. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!"

Fordele: "The crew were great! The seats are not that comfortable, it happened that I had 3 seats raw for myself but the armrests were not going up so I could not utilize them and lie down to sleep."
Fordele: "Pumpkin soup instead of a heavy entree was welcome and tasty. Breakfast yogurt portion was generous, the granola less so. Accompaniments were good. Butter was not ice cold, thank goodness."
Ulemper: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."
Ulemper: "The only complaint I had was that it was very warm on the flight (and I usually get cold on flights), and in the seats we had there weren't fans above the seats. A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"

Ulemper: "Crew not only lacked sensibility to understand the purpose of an emotional support dog but kept harassing me about the dog being tied to my seat. At some point a flight attendant even tried to touch my dog, invading my personal space. When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."

Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."
