Ulemper: "This is my first flight with Turkish Airlines. It is much better than every Europe Airline company. Until the Covid19 pandemic is over I will not fly to Europe with any European company. Turkish Airline are that good. On top of that you get to transport two big bags of luggage for free."

Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "We had asked for wheel chair. At Istanbul we were made to wait for almost two hours. Our boarding passes were collected by your staff, when I raised my voice, were given one wheel chair and I had to run along with the staff or we could have missed the flight. I wanted to have some grub at airport but there was no time."
Ulemper: "The service on Turkish airlines was not friendly or helpful. The food was not quality, or food tasting. The entertainment didn't include a lot of movies at all. One of the flights did even give headphones. The staff wasn't rude and not helpful, and didn't make the flight comfortable. I had high hopes flying with Turkish Airlines for the first time, but I was thoroughly disappointed with everything."

Ulemper: "The Customer Service at the Istanbul air port is the WORSE service I have ever seen in the entire world, in fact you can not call it customer service, these people duel on older people that depend on their services and they treat them like garbage. I have always like Turkish Airlines but now I will try to go with any other Airline because of that problem, all their flight are routed true Istanbul and I do not want to risk being stacked there again!!!!!"

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "We were flown by AnadoluJet which is a fully owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. We were notified of that change until checking in time. The seats weren't comfortable and leg space was too small. The food was poor. A chess sandwich and nothing else."

Fordele: "Turkish Airlines has some of the best amenities of any airline: great meals (and often), clean planes, plus two free checked bags for flights between Middle East and USA."
Ulemper: "The plane was overbooked with MANY seats having been doubly assigned. After more than half an hour we were given a new seat assignment (in first class! Business class had already been filled with other double bookings!). They did their best to accommodate everyone though and the remainder of the flight was very pleasant."
Ulemper: "Because of the coup in Turkey, I had to cancel my flight. I'm still trying to get my partial reimbursement. It been two weeks!"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Check in was late in Rome. Arrived at 5am for a 8:30 flight, and they would not check us in until 6 am. Don’t understand the “arrive 3 hrs prior” when this happens."
Fordele: "Flight left and arrived on-time. Flight attendents were pleasant and helpful. Food portions and choices were good, and Lufthansa is always generous with drinks. Good value for money on Lufthansa."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, as clear instructions were not given about which group was boarding when and where to line up. Also Lufthansa did not do a good job managing carry-on bags, so that it took way too long to load people and many bags were left over once overhead bins were full. Seating area is cramped in economy."

Ulemper: "Couldn't check in online and because I booked pretty late, didn't get the seat choice I wanted. I purchased the flight via the Lufthansa site, but then on check-in, I found out that the first segment was SAS, so neither the Lufthansa site nor the SAS site let me check in online."

Ulemper: "We were put on standby. We expected our names to be called for seat assignments but we didn’t expect we could just swipe our boarding pass and our seat assignment would show. It’s a nice feature but I didn’t like that it wasn’t clearly explained to us."

Fordele: "We left DFW in extremely hot weather. The ground crew managed the boarding to keep everyone out of the hot tunnel entry as long as possible. Even through there was a delay in boarding already, the crew kept us well informed. The cabin crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Smooth flight and still made it to our connecting flight on time."
Ulemper: "Leg room in coach is really cramped but that is all airlines unfortunately."
Fordele: "Nice Crew except when they were not watching where they stepped. Smooth flight."
Ulemper: "I had a swollen and sprained ankle during the flight, I had it resting near the aisle to stretch and move to try and keep it from swelling further. Unfortunately, my injured ankle was kicked several times by a rushed crew member. It would be great if they could be a bit more mindful and watch where they are walking. Also, the breakfast before landing was spoiled when I discovered fungus in my butter after I had already eaten half of it."

Fordele: "Spacious and quiet aircraft, lots of legroom in certain exit row seats. Friendly cabin crew. Compared to the loud and bumpy ride on the Lufthansa 747, the A380 was way better."
Ulemper: "Moderate delays at each end—waiting for transfer passengers delayed our departure half an hour. We made up the time en route but then sat on the tarmac at LAX because the gate was occupied. I think my seat mates missed their connection. They broke the handle on my rollaboard (checked due to stingy cabin baggage allowance)."

Ulemper: "That I did not know in advance there was a snack. Would have odered vegan as it was had nothing."
Fordele: "The flight was one hour late to leave Seattle and we had to run in Frankfurt airport for 20 minuts to catch the next flight and one luggage did not make it . No more"

Ulemper: "Boarding seamed inefficient. Loaded handicap onto separate vehicle in middle of us boarding, so it stopped our process. My seat didn't recline even though it had a button. No in flight entertainment?! At all... Got a crappy breakfast omelet that i didn't want to put in my stomach."

Ulemper: "I was sitting at the tale end. Seat was extremely uncomfortable. I was trying to rest yet flight attendants and several passengers were talking loud. Crews kept forgetting passengers orders/requests. A lady sitting besides me pushed a call bottom 3 times to get noticed. Flight attendants were too busy chatting with passengers to help other passengers. I have never seen that type of services before."
Ulemper: "Check in very confusing, switched gates on me but I didn’t get the text until later, after take off. No announcement over the PA system in the airport. If my son, who was picking me up, hadn’t been tracking my flight, I would have missed it."

Ulemper: "Boarding mix up, which was completely Lufthansa's responsibility, delayed my flight to Istanbul for one hour which caused my missing my connection with another airline. This in turn cost me the original flight and a new ticket purchase of at an exorbent price."
Fordele: "The 747 is a big plane. Each seat had a full entertainment system in the back of the seat ahead. Seats actually reclined! Cannot recommend cabin crew highly enough. Efficient, polite, professional."
Ulemper: "I cannot understand why any airline continues to board forward to aft, forcing people with just a backpack to stack up behind others, allowed to bring obscenely over-sized carry-on bags, wrestling to get their sea chests into the overhead bins. Seat upholstery could have been better for such a long flight. I have "asnahtfuL" permanently embossed on my butt. 747 is an aging craft and this plane had disappointing response to turbulence."

Ulemper: "the connecting flight was missed because of a delay in the first flight. i got a different flight with a different airline (sas), they were not informed that i paid extra weight and window seat. i am very unhappy! not to mention that the whole purpuise of my trip is gone, because i a will arrive to copenhagen five hours late for the meeting i was supposed to hold with my fans! i will never fly with egean again!"
Fordele: "I missed the flight. Because they closed the check in counter 1 full hour before the departure time. I was standing in a passport control line for 40 minutes before that. I reached the check in counter 55 minutes before departure time. It was closed. The ticket office had no sympathy, refused to issue me a boarding pass. My flight was paid for and confirmed. There was time to get through security and reach the gate by boarding time. All i needed was the boarding pass and they would not give it. I missed the flight i had paid for and of course you won't give me a refund It caused serious problems with my trip. I'm totally disgusted and will never buy another ticket on this ariline."
Ulemper: "Terrible customer service. Rude and unhelpful. They refused to do a spelling change on my name and forced me to purchase a second ticket. The flight was 25+ minutes late taking off due to lack of organization at passenger check-in. It really is a shame that Agean is pretty much the only option to Istanbul (IST) from Athens."

Tuve un problema con pequeños líquidos en carry on, y regresando al checking, me ayudaron , sin pagar extra y recibieron mi maleta de mano gratis y no sólo eso...me la chequear on como FRAGIL... El desayuno fue excelente...SPINACH PIE, YOGURT, JUICE..DRINKS..a comparación con el vuelo en otra aerolínea de una amiga...sólo crackers and drink.. GRACIAS AEGEANS AIRLINES. .!!"

Ulemper: "They overbooked the flight so we were delayed an hour . The flight was very bumpy an I couldn't hear any of the announcements. The flight attendants didn't seem to know what they were doing at all."

Ulemper: "Check-in can't process baggage charges, so they send you off to an office across the airport, just to find that the payment processing office is closed for a couple hours in the late afternoon. Why don't you just set the baggage check in people up to process a credit card transaction?"

Ulemper: "I wasn't expecting such a rude crew, Greek people were incredibly nice everywhere and this was the first time in a flight that I felt so disrespected. From check in being the only one questioned about visa and documents (we don't need visa) to being mistreated during flight. Really disappointed."
Ulemper: "When staff give own bags and check pass have a problem and give more time but don't say any thing to me only says we fixed the problem, after that when we went to airplane and check the tickets machine has a alert , again we have a problem!! Again checked own passports and didn't say anything to me, only say nothing!!!! And we have anxiety."

A greeter for agean airlines directly at the entrance would significantly improve this, as would more check in kiosks (two and only one worked) and a more linear system (you have to go backward to check your bag before going forward)."
Fordele: "first they announced 10 min delay, then they could not find the crew, after they appeared delay was extended to 45 min we left about 50 min late. gained some time in flight and arrived 35 min late. first batch of luggage came out relatively early and then there was a break of over 20 min before the luggage started to come out again, just as if somebody decided to have a coffee break."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordele: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Ulemper: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Det værste jeg har oplevet - de ændrede gate uden announcement her i Helsinki - og lukkede den 1 min efter last Call - vi var fer 2 min senere og de nægtede os adgang så bliver nu 7 timer forsinket og misser et vigtigt møde i Tallinn, så meget meget skidt og meget urimeligt.

Da jeg bestilte tur/retur billetten via jeres site fik jeg en pris og da jeg så skulle til endelig bestilling og betaling var prisen lige pludselig forhøjet med ca.kr. 800,00. Jeg er blevet snydt af jer og forlanger difference refunderet.

Had to pay £65 (~$90)to check my bag even though it was free on the outgoing flight. Had to pay surcharge for paying at check in even though I tried to correct in advance over phone and online. Kayak was no help.

It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

Most irritating: could not check in online for some unexplained reason and required to arrive two hours early. BA does no subscribe to TSA so spent time in a line unnecessarily. AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."
