Flight was canceled and nobody notified us (business class) until we arrived at the airport. Tap tried to rebook us into economy for next flight but we would have missed out connection anyway. Had to pitch a fit to be rebooked on a different airline in business. Ended up in JFK instead of Newark but at least got home.

Ulemper: "Our flight in Lisbon was scheduled to board an hour before departure. We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."

Our special meals ordered in advance were provided how ever a little limited Flight was generally smooth and we arrived earlier than scheduled even though we have left later than scheduled. Great service. New, Clean and comfortable aircraft The process while in transit at Lomé was fast and simple."
Ulemper: "The fasten seatbelt was constantantly on (not only while in turbulence) Though we had two full rows available for us, the seat handles could not be lifted; hence the full row could not be utilized... No entertainment at all. This can be advised ahead for you to come with adequate tablet."
Ulemper: "We didn't select our meal option for vegetarian because the last time we did we ended up with a horrible, horrible, hockey puck like dry food option. We assumed there would be a cheese pasta option, as there usually is, well we were completely wrong. Both options were meat, even the salad had meat in it. So we got a roll with butter, a tiny fruit, and a disgusting wet dessert. Even the breakfast was meat and cheese. I got online to select our meal option for our return trip, and the options are out of control. We have a lacto-ovo-vegetarian option, whatever that is"

Ulemper: "I travel with an international carry-on designed to fit in comoartments above seats in any and all planes (Tumi alpha 2 International), and yet TAP would claim it was too large to fit and forced me to check it. My problem is not only the wait once we land, but most improtsntly that the bags are beat up in the journey. Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed and I missed my next flight. They charged me for the next flight (from Lisbon to Porto) full price but put me on wait list, contrary to their representation (Tap Air as well)."

My bag is a normal sized carry on bag that has always fit on all flights. There was plenty of space on the aircraft for it. The ground crew also let others on with larger bags so they dont even apply their policy in a consistent manner. I will do my best to avoid TAP from now on."

Fordele: "Stay away from TAP. I wish the people at the counter were just rude - they were tormenting us and lying to me about my luggage. When they found out I insisted on not checking my bag, they told me they would "keep it" in the meantime. Turned out they went ahead and threw the bag onto the plane. We ended up having to go find it at lost and found. They initially told me it was going to only take 5-10 mins to retrieve my luggage, but then 40 mins passed and still nothing. My poor mom had to wait by the empty belt - and boarding started and the luggage still wasn't there. They forced us to pay 35 euros (it's principle, not the money) when their policy said nothing about it when I booked it on the website. My mom was in tears and I had the worst few hours of my life. TAP - you are disgusting. It takes a lot for me to be upset but you really did everything out of your way to make us suffer. Even told us we might have to miss our flight. You put a huge dent on my trip."

Ulemper: "Boarding process in Madrid in like a cattle drive. Probably not the airlines fault but was unpleasant. Premium class seats could use a bit mor padding and the footrests are useful for only very short people."

The flight was delayed but they never posted it and I have no idea why they have boarding groups since they allow everyone on at the same time. All the magazine says they have charging ports-they don’t and the WiFi is spotty at best.."

My footrest didn't work properly, and my husband's didn't work at all on the flight to Norway. The food was limited and really bad. In fact, my husband got sick from the chicken he ate, and the steak I got was like a grey eraser. I took one bite and threw the rest away. They didn't have enough food to offer me something else (remember, this is premium economy), and the flight attendant was irritated and short with me. They don't have any pillows on the flight and the "blanket" they give you is basically a sheet folded in two sewn together, and doesn't keep you warm at all. I felt like I was on a discount airline, but I didn't get the discount! I will not fly with Norwegian again."

Fordele: "The cost of the ticket was perfect, very affordable. I didn’t have a meal included, but was surprised that I was never even offered water worth the other passengers as attendants went down the aisle. I was completely looked over."
Ulemper: "I was VERY surprised to witness such unfriendly, mannered attendants. No smiles. No excuse mes or sorry when bumping in to someone or needing to get by. I felt like I would’ve put them out too much to ask for ANYTHING."

Ulemper: "A few of the crew members (one woman in particular) were very rude to people that were just asking about immigration forms etc. Her attitude sucked. The announcement volume was low as well so the crew could've been a bit nicer about the questions. Not thrilled with not even being offered water once during an 8 hour flight. I've been flying first, business and economy plus on American alot for the past few years and was u aware that this was a discount airline when I booked. Like I said, I love the new planes but I'm going to spend the money and have a nicer crew with water and a meal for international flights (I flew Stockholm to NYC)."
Fordele: "The flight itself was really good, smooth and easy. The staff were also very helpful. Good value for money"
Ulemper: "The plane hadn't been cleaned properly, there was still food in the pocket in my seat from the flight before. And they didn't bring the trash through nearly often enough which resulted in passengers leaving wrappers and cups on the floor. We were 30 min delayed as well."
Fordele: "The plane is new, clean, and has a good entertainment system."
Ulemper: "The airline failed to inform that upon check in they would weigh carry on's and if they were over 10kg you would have to check a bag for $65. 3 stations and over an hour later, people were furious. Also, if you didn't book a premium ticket the flight staff didn't want to deal with you. Asking for water incurred a nasty look. I was surprised by the lack of customer service and therefore I don't plan to fly this airline again."

Ulemper: "On Tuesday, November 1st, 2017, a girlfriend and I flew from Newark, NJ to Barcelona, Spain on an Economy flight. I have flown both internationally and economy before, but I have never been on a flight, especially a 7 hour international flight, where I wasn't even offered water! The crew didn't even make eye contact if you didn't purchase an upgraded flight. I didn't expect a meal flying overnight, but I've received pretzels and a soft drink on 45 minute flights! How is that we received meals and drinks, and the proper hospitality on the return flight, also without purchasing the upgrade? Maybe it was because the return flight was operated by Hi Fly. Norwegian needs a lesson from Hi Fly on how to treat their customers! I will never fly with Norwegian again, and will share my experience with anyone contemplating flying with this carrier. Shame on you, Norwegian!!!"
Fordele: "The crew was lovely. The seats were comfy. Broad movie selections. The overhead space was probably the best part."
Ulemper: "The single thing that made me never want to fly this airline again was that we were not offered a single drink. Not even water. The only people allowed to have a drink were those that preordered food. I wasn't aware I needed to do that and have no problem ordering food onboard (which I did) but to be completely over looked for even a cup of WATER? It was quite humiliating to not even be looked at unless I was someone that preordered food. I just don't understand that at all. Even on a 30 min flight to Akron I get a water or soda or coffee. This was an 8 hour flight!"
Fordele: "The entertainment was good and the staff was friendly. The captain was communicative and gave us frequent updates on why it took so long to take off/leave the gate. I'd fly Norwegian again."
Ulemper: "We were on the airplane at the gate for well over an hour waiting for "mandatory screenings" of passengers to take place. It was long and uncomfortable. While this was not the airline's fault, it would have been nice to have had the in-flight entertainment activated or beverages offered while we waited."

Ulemper: "It was way too cold on the plain ride...... Couldn't sleep Stewards seemed overworked ....."
Fordele: "Fast flight. Easy boarding & transferring. On time."

Fordele: "The new airplane was very nice. The entertainment movie selections were amazing!"
Ulemper: "Our flight boarded late and took off late. Then, I had paid for two meals on my flight. When they came around and delivered food, they skipped me. I was the window seat so I politely waited for the people next to me to finish eating their meals before I asked them to get up. I went to the back of the plane and told the flight attendant. They apologized and said I was supposed to get one. They kindly allowed me to order snacks for free off of their menu. However, when the second meal came around, I was skipped again. I then had to alert the flight attendant again. I was surprised that they would forget my meal a second time."
Ulemper: "Well, due to a delay from Bergen to Copenhagen, I barely made my Copenhagen to Boston connector flight. The crew did their part to make sure I didn't miss my connecting flight which was terrific, but my check-in baggage did not make it (I hope it is still in Copenhagen). Normally I wouldn't grade so hard, but my check-in luggage was also mishandled on my connecting flight two weeks ago from Copenhagen to Oslo, causing me to miss my initial Oslo to Tromsø flight and settle for a later one. So two mishandled check-in bags out of six flights over a three-week period is not a good ratio. To be honest, if my baggage appears tomorrow I will be annoyed but not too angry. If not and it's lost, well, I love Norway and Norwegian patience, but conscientiousness is a good thing, and Norwegian or not, carelessness is a bad thing. I hope my luggage arrives tomorrow so I can forgive and forget."
Fordele: "Seat spacing very good for the economy class on the 787. Boarding is organized and efficient. No size limit on check in baggage."
Ulemper: "Ear phone not provided. Only 20 Kilo on check in baggage."
Fordele: "For about half of the primary overseas carriers, I had a very comfy seat on a new 787 Dreamliner. Amazing!"
Ulemper: "Couldn't get boarding passes in advance and no online check in. Luckily I was able to reserve a seat in advance."

Ulemper: "I was quite surprised that no drink or food was offered freely on the flight. All items were for sale at a higher price. This was a flight of over eight hours and to be offered no water was abominable. Preboarding left you in an enclosed room where you were not able to go outside to purchase food or drinks. There was a vending machine but if you didn't have current currency, you couldn't use it."

Fordele: "I liked the food... particularly the dinner: Beef Chipotle. But it wasn't clear if I'd be getting food or not. I did, but my seat mates did not and I can only assume that they had a more of a discount arrangement."
Ulemper: "Most of the on flight staff was fine, but one flight attendant in particular was very stressed. I had a window seat but it was impossible for me to get by the other seats because there was no space for egress. Also, air ducts overhead were furry from neglect--they hadn't been cleaned in a while and had a not of dirty dust around them."

Ulemper: "The boarding process took far too long. We were standing at the gate for what seemed like an hour. I'm not sure exactly why we were delayed in boarding the plane. There was no explanation."

Ulemper: "Never announced for non-priority boarding, so many people were late to flight, causing delays. Much less than minimum leg room required for any normal human. Sat bolt upright with front seat digging into knees for 3 hours. Far from the cheapest ticket, but totally no frills, no food, no entertainment, limited baggage. Wizz Air mobile app barely works when required (for boarding passes, etc) Not enough room in overheads for all the carry on they allowed, had to sit with bag and jacket on my lap for flight, as no room under seat either."

Ulemper: "Did not fly. They wanted $100 to check my bag. I flew another airline."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed by an hour which meant we missed a connecting bus journey. The space in the seat is very limited and cramped, I was very uncomfortable in the chair with my knees pushed into the back of the seat in front. I am 6ft 1in which is tall but not that tall. Anyone taller might not be able to get into the seat at all. There was a problem with the website so we couldn't check in online and we had tried to change our flight a few days earlier but the website again didn't work, we tried to call a call centre whose number was on there, didn't work."

They claimed the fee was for checking in in person---and then they also claimed it was too late to check in online. There is no information in my flight confirmation from Flightnetwork.com, which i purchased on kayak, indiciating that such a fee would be charged. Many other passengers had the same experience."
Ulemper: "Checkpoint at katowice the wirst ever seen, personnel with very bad atittude wanting personal cosmetics to fit on stupid plastic bag, the rest wanted to scrap or document my bag to pay extra even I already pay for bring it inside cabin, same before boarding I have my computer backpack and already pay 10 eur for large cabin bag and before boarding they wanted for me to checkin baggage because rule is only backpack even I did explain I already paid large cabin, at end I paid 63 Eur total for my luggage I found completly dissapointed and abusing from many passengersbin the same sittuation, also fly have us inside the plane for more than 30minutes without leaving,"

Ulemper: "It was a full plane ride but they didn't seem to be boarding on time? After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive."
Fordele: "Nice clean plane, friendly airline staff (as friendly as they get, we all know how they have that teflon attitude), OK food, I sat between 2 Bulgarian passengers which were very well behaved, one screaming baby nearby (as there always is) and no-one playing football with the back of my seat all the flight (you know who you are - hope someone does it to you), and no-one fidgeting all flight so all in all a good experience."
Ulemper: "Bit slow in opening the gate for people to get on. They expect to cram you like sardines on a hot staircase with no where to go when there is other people being checked in to board behind you, really stupid and possibly sadistic."

Ulemper: "Bought a ticket two weeks ago to travel to Romania. Didn't have internet to check in, so I went to the airport to check in. When I got there because I was within 3 hours of boarding they had given away my ticket and made me a last priority boarder. I happened to get really lucky otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to fly on a flight I had previously paid for and was on time to."

The whole checkin process was a diseaster! We were flying with Vueling! We had checked in on the app but still had to checkin at the desks with our 10kg hand luggage! The queue for this was 2.5 hours long, with no social distancing in the pandemic (Covid19). When we finally got to the top of the queue, our flight was closing also another queue was opened up! But if we left the queue we were in we would have ended up at the back of a different queue! This seemed pointless to be honest! What could have been done is a bag drop section of the checkin process (Like Ryanair has) it’s much more streamlined and quicker! After all this drama, we only had 15mins to make it through security snd passport control to make the flight on time! It was very stressful and very hot! I was so thirsty that I needed to buy a bottle of water at the boarding gate (to my surprise this small bottle of water was €5- a total rip off! After boarding (which was ok) we were looking forward to a nice cup of coffee on the flight as we usually do! It took the crew nearly 1.5 hours into the flight to get to our seats to serve us! The coffee was dreadful (a hotel type sachet of instant coffee costing €2.60) and a heart burn inducing Turkey, ham and cheese toastie (costing €5.50)! The horrified by the quality! Ryanair is definitely better on food quality, check-in and boarding experience and service, that’s saying something! The flight itself was grand (although lacking interaction from the pilot- which is always nice) it was a smooth flight! When it came to landing it was good but our baggage took nearly 45mins to come out onto the carousel in the terminal! And other delay! Overall I would be giving Vueling perhaps a 2 out of 5 overall! Not impressed!

When we were done, there were about more than 10 individuals who were waiting to pass the gate and about over 50 waiting in line. We noticed that the European descent individuals with bigger bags were not question and allowed to pass through. We were stop and was informed we have to pay for our luggage. The rep took our credit card and scanned it and when we asked how much she informed us the amount will be appeared in our next statement. How did she not even know?? Lastly, the individual in front of us had the same luggage (if not bigger) and didn’t even have to beck his in!"

Finally, both my hand bags carry on get checked in and now I am stuck at the airport waiting for two little bags that could’ve easily got on top of my compartment where I was."

Ulemper: "There was a group of about 6 passengers that were very drunk before they got on the plane. I could hear that they were asked on their way through security 'how drunk are you?' which they announced loudly to everyone. They were shouting on board. They were still sold alcohol by the crew who did nothing to quieten them down. As usual the flight was late (around an hour by the time we actually got to the terminal)"

Fordele: "No hitches. I recently bought proper cabin baggage with Ryanair approved dimensions and had checked in online so no hassles. If you follow Ryanair guidelines and have requested paperwork and baggage allowance your experience should be incident free."

Ulemper: "Because we don't want to pay extra for seating we don't check in until 4 days before the flight. Usually this is not a problem but on this flight they split us up, one at the front & one at the rear, then they ask if we want to pay extra to sit together. This is a very petty ploy to get extra money. It doesn't work !! The passengers just swop when on the plane"
