It also took 3 hours because of UAE and Qatar :("

Even if you have diamond one world status (the highest) unless u fly business class there is no chance in getting more onboard for your carryon. Works best airline my a**!"

Ulemper: "Although the very well crafted advertisement for Qatar at beginning of watching each movie is partially beautiful, I personally find it a bit offensive as a woman the clear emphasis on "my son, this watch and all that is mine will be yours", my daughter, your highest moment will be to get married. My disturbance with what I experience as sexist, worsened each time I saw this. Luckily I learnt how to fast forward, but the sexism of this left me disturbed. so although in reality much of your service is excellent, this advertising of a sexist world view was too disturbing to ignore. I hope my comments are helpful to you in considering that many women in the world now expect their fathers to consider passing on a fair share of their resources to their daughters as well."

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on the 70-minute flisght was a little cramped - it would be even worse for a taller person than I (at 5'10")."
Fordele: "Overall it was a nice flight however some areas need some attention. Boarding gates were very crowded and there was no crowd management in the small area. Secondly, the food was not at all upto the mark. If you are serving sandwich atleast make it flavorful or just serve drinks on this short flight with nuts/biscuits/chocolate."

Ulemper: "Beware of you have a short layover in Doha. I had 2 hour layover and it was barely enough time to make the connection. We were herded through security like cattle. Must have been several hundred of people in line. People kept cutting in line because they too had a very tight connection. Chos is what comes to mind. Not sure how this can be a 5 star airline. Maybe for those in business and first class. I think Turkish Airlines is easy better, and they Are a4 start airline and less expensive. Maybe if the chaos at the transition gate gets improvement I may reconsider. Also, I'm positive that the chair in front of me reclined more than the others. The guy slammed back his chair into my lap and my beverage spilled all over me. Inconsiderate people aren't necessary their fault, but people need to stop being idiots and think of others, especially during meal times. The reclining potion of the chairs need to be better controlled or fixed."

Ulemper: "Swiss has finally done it! If you are a person who is large framed, around 225 lbs or higher you will not fit into their economy seats. I'm quite athletic and not obese but large framed (ex- football player), I could not sit squarely in the seat as my hips were severely pinched. Misery :("

I tried online and calling the # that was provided no results. I managed to get thru to someone and they told me they would send the info to my email but they never did."
Ulemper: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

Fordele: "It was an 8.5 hour flight and we got fed 2 meals, 2 snacks and had lots of beverage breaks! We were delayed a little but it was due to an issue in France, not anything to do with the airplane, and the captain found a solution faster than he had originally said he would (with the help of the tower of course)."

As a star alliance member and a united chase explorer card user I don’t think I should be paying for the extra bag. I booked the flight through United for the expressed reason that I have privileges when on united and feel if I book united these privileges should transfer. If not what’s the point of being a loyal customet"

Fordele: "I really liked the "About my flight" application on the viewing screens because it always gave me an idea of what we were flying over and how much longer we woulld be in the air. The food was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised that I could have wine with dinner or any time the attendants offered beveragess. The attendants were always professional and helpful. They all were fluent in English as well as several other languages. It was a nice touch when the attendant wore white gloves when he or she was collecting passengers' trash after meals and/or beverage service. I loved the cheese that was served at dinner. The warm croissants served at breakfast were a very nice touch."
Ulemper: "Due to turbulence, I could not get out of my seat as much on the return flight, so I did have some swelling in my feet."

Fordele: "I was upgraded for some reason and holy cow was it awesome. Amazing food with more choices of what to eat. Massager in the chair and it nearly lied flat. So amazing and the perfect way to travel on a long flight"

Wifi options given are horrible, If you really want to provide this option at least provide like full flight or in increments of hours not by data limit, this shows how archaic is your business thinking is!! You have to seriously update .."

Ulemper: "I am not unusually large but it is clear that the seats on your planes are completely inadequate for anyone other than a child. There is no possible way for anyone who isn't seriously sedated to sleep or even sit for any extended period of time in what amount to slightly cushioned coffins. I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"

I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

Ulemper: "I was penalized because of a political issue between USA and Turkey. I couldn't get the visa to travel there, and despite that I couldn't get a refund. I am 1k with united air, and will never include THY in my plans."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "The were not very helpful, I lost the plain and they refuse to change my dates. I am I elderly women and they took advantage. I was force to by one more ticket when I live from I very small income. So know my 3 months social security I have to pay the new ticket. No mony left for food or my medication."
Fordele: "Delicious food, amenities kit with socks, slippers, earplugs, toothpaste and more, fantastic entertainment system, power plugs and USB plugs at every seat."
Ulemper: "The laptop on board ban is a mess. As we were flying to the US, we had to go through literally 4 security checks one after the other. Then, all of our electronics (laptop, camera, even headphones) other than our phones had to be taken. As everyone had to go through it , this delayed our flight by 1 hour. When we landed, we waited literally 1.5h before they started handing out our electronics. All in all, it took me 4 hours to leave the airport."
Fordele: "We arrived safely and on time"
Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"
Ulemper: "I was first seated next to the two largest people on the plane, a couple. There was hardly room for me in the seat. I had the aisle seat. I asked the flight attendant if I could be reseated and she said the plane was full and there were no open seats. She eventually found me a middle seat in the back of the plane, which was so cramped I could harpy move. For a 10 hours flight, not good. I have gold status on Star Alliance, which got me an upgrade from Bishkek to Istanbul, but didn't help on this flight."

Ulemper: "Seat cushions lack comfort and the legroom is not sufficient for a average size person."

Ulemper: "In Istanbul, wheel chair facility was not provided. Wheel chair facility was there with itinerary."
Fordele: "Boarding procedure was not organized. Boarding of business class and special needs passengers was not prioritized and were boarded along with economy passengers. Good choice of movies."
Ulemper: "TV screen very far from the seat and could only interact with it via the remote control."
Ulemper: "Cabin temperature too high, the flight attendants borderline rude and always on a hurry, I mean what's the hurry durin a 12:30 hours long haul flight. Turkish airlines has decreased its quality of service."
Fordele: "Flight itself was comfortable even though it was very full. Good, well maintained airplane. Great pillow and blanket. Somewhat hard seat. Love the newspapers they give us to read - what a selection."
Ulemper: "Istanbul airport really lacks seating for its passengers in the general areas. You need to sit in a restaurant to rest your feet as waits are quite long between flights. Another problem is the lack of internet for passengers without Turkish cell accounts. This should be corrected. Finally, lack of water fountains in the airport is also a problem."
Fordele: "The flight experience is really good. Good leg space. Great service. Great meal, most importantly they didn't mess up veg and nonveg preferences."
Ulemper: "On the flight from newyork to Istanbul and Istanbul to Mumbai leg space wasn't satisfactory."
Fordele: "Great Food, adequate seating, helpful staff, efficient boarding"
Ulemper: "The airplane was a really warm temperature when we boarded."
Fordele: "Care and food on board were excellent."
Ulemper: "Boarding was late and was very confusing. No special area for business class. This was not true when we were going to Cairo from Istanbul. The lounge there is fabulous but because our flight was late we didn't have time to go to the lounge on return flight."

Ulemper: "I asked a flight member for assistance and he said he would get back to me with the info but never responded. Also, when meals were delivered, my packages were halfway open as if it was prev touched by someone else and the food was not warm. My arriving flight gave high hopes that this returning fight did not fulfill."
Fordele: "Brand new aircraft. Onboard wifi and live TV. Good food. This is one of the routes where Turkish feels need to compete."

Ulemper: "Smelly passengers with body odor. Screaming, crying children that poo every couple of hours. A/C WAS INCONSISTANT drspite several complaints to cabin attendants."
Fordele: "Crew were exceptionally warm and pleasant, and made me feel more than welcome onboard."
Ulemper: "This was one of the worst days of my life, health-wise, so it could be that my observation of the passage of time was somewhat distorted, but Turkish did everything either slowly, or more slowly on this day. First, name two things on a flight line that are wheeled, movable objects. Did you answer bus and plane? Well done. So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I fell asleep and woke up twice before it was over."

Ulemper: "The seat next to me had two kids sitting in it. The seats are only supposed to have one person per seat. So they we also halfway in my seat also."

Ulemper: "Boarding in order, by the seat numbers. That’s the only thing y’all can improve on. It was my first time booking with Lufthansa, and I will definitely book with y’all again."
Ulemper: "Seats in economy were very uncomfortable, almost no cushion in any of the seats or the seat backs. Would not recommend Lufthansa for long haul."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "Over 2 hours late, and this flight has been late 6 of the last 7 days"
Fordele: "The flight was only about 1 hour. Everything ran smoothly once we took off. The crew was very good, providing gate information for connecting passengers."
Ulemper: "It would have been better if we had departed on time. I don't remember why there was a late departure but it made it difficult for some passengers to make their connecting flight. My husband and I hurried to the gate for our flight to Washington, DC but that flight left late, too."

Ulemper: "The airport pretty much shut down for awhile so some flights were canceled. Due to the number of people attempting to check in and go through security, I missed my plane and was rebooked in an economy seat. These glitches occur but one would expect Lufthansa to have had a plan to deliver clear directions."

Ulemper: "The food was not good at all. The economy seats are uncomfortable and you should be able to walk around the plane, especially on a 9 plus hour flight."
Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Fordele: "That was the most comfortable flight I have ever had. Famous German standards of excellence. Everything was just as it's supposed to be. Punctuality, politeness, order - just perfection. Thank you for such a great treatment!"

Ulemper: "We had to land in Bari, due to weather, and the airline initially wanted to take us back to Munich for the night and return to Naples in the morning. They ultimately opted to drive us down to Naples but didn’t arrive at that decision until we’d been on the ground for quite a while."

Ulemper: "Tiny space for 8 hour flight. Men not sharing arm rests or leg room. Really really uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "Horrible experience. Stranded for 3 hours inside stationary flight, 4 hours in a long queue. Very very poorly managed. I slept on a chair in the cold weather. Atleast make arrangements for bad situations, apparently I was booked on another flight but they made me stand in a 4 hour long queue to find that out. Kiosk outside showed I was put in no flight. One of my worst experiences and rest assured if I’m given a chance I will never choose Lufthansa again."

Ulemper: "Took off almost an hour late. Flight personnel repeatedly skipped me for drinks, meals, etc. on plane for nearly 8 hours without a drop of water."

Fordele: "This is about kayak. There's no relationship b/w kayak and lufthansa. Booked my flight through kayak going was okay but returning back was messed up. Kayak booked it in such a way that my schedule was from lagos to Frankfurt to Zurich to toronto without considering the fact that I needed a transit visa which I was not aware of as no one to advise me ahead of time . I ended up paying additional $750 CAD just to change my itinary. This was a very sad experience will never use kayak or recommend to others. My booking number is T28V67. They should have customer service agents to advise people."
Ulemper: "Kayak did not provide useful information regarding my flight and does not have contact centre like call center where customers can reach an agent for further assistance. When I contacted lufthansa was asked to contact kayak but no number for kayak"
Ulemper: "Plane delayed. Then when on board, pilot apologized due to the very warm cabin as "the auxilariary power unit isn't working." Then long delay because the baggage ground crew messed up and again according to the pilot "we apologize for the ground crew's failure to do their job properly and some baggage wasn't loaded properly." Once we landed we had like 20 minutes to go through security AGAIN and nearly missed the final flight to our Seattle destination. No mention of local time upon landing, no one at gate to direct lots of people rushing for connections."
