Ulemper: "The plane was expected to land at FRa an hour early Andy they couldn’t wait five minutes for us after a three hour delayed flight. Every other flight was delayed on average 30minutes. When we arrived whoever was running the jet bridge took 15 minutes to get it out to our jet, essentially causing us to miss our flight right then. And then the staff had the audacity to tell us we had to hike back ten minutes to wait in an hour long line to rebook. When they could have done it at their gate just as easily. Simply awful service For paying first/business class"

Ulemper: "Worse travel day of my life. I'll never fly Lufthansa again and never go thru Frankfort again. Lost luggage both ways. Awful experience!! Hundreds of gates and we had to ride a bus out to the plane. Airline kept complaining to passengers that they didn't have enough personnel. Flight was late! Given totally incorrect information about luggage retrieval in Chicago. Not required! Waited 45 minutes for luggage that was not there and was supposed to be headed to Houston but did not arrive there either. Still waiting..."

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Ulemper: "The usual flight discomfort, but the seat in front of me was broke. The person in it struggled to stay out of my lap, which I appreciated. The connecting flight had a non-functional screen and the reading light broke and flew across the cabin."
Fordele: "My wife and I travel frequently and Lufthansa has always been a "notch above" all other airlines in onboard service. Imagine, airplane food that you can actually eat and enjoy!"
Ulemper: "TV screens were old. Its response to the touch was iffy. It used to detect the touch point correctly sometimes but not other times. Often it took quiet some time to read and start something of my choice, which was quiet frustrating."

Ulemper: "I had a short transit time in Munich (40 minutes). Munich website promises that this is possible and that gates are close to each other and if the first flight is late, then someone will help you to your next flight. My first flight was about 10 mins late. Although assistance was provided to people connecting to some of the other flights, no-one helped me with my connection. I asked two ground staff and was just told to make my own way to the next gate, which was not close. It was in a different terminal! After literally running through two terminals, I did not make it to the gate in time and had to wait for the following flight which got me home over three hours late. Lufthansa did give me a five euro meal voucher though (which doesn't buy very much in an airport cafe)."

In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "Croatian Airline checkin service was good but was made to check in carry on. However, baggage clerk was extremely hostile and wanted to charge us for two bags for which we had prepaid. Would not accept our evidence of payment for the two bags. Finally accepted her mistake but Forced to pay 90€ For the extra bag. Ripoff!! Other airlines (Vueling, Air Europa) checked same bag as courtely, did not charge. First and last time flying Austrian."

For example selling me a new ticket at a special price or with some benefit - I WILL NEED TO FLY TO VIENNA AND KIEV AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS - otherwise; I doubt I would ever buy a Austrian plane ticket again. I AM FLYING ON POLISH AIRLINES RIGHT NOW OCT 25TH."
Ulemper: "When I try to make the change of itinerary on Austrian Airlines on the selling web page, they told me to contact the Austrian Airlines, so I did. The Austrian Airlines lady who told me that I would just lose my tickets and that I could not even pay a penalty to avoid such thing, was very VERY RUDE!! As the Austrian Airlines did not offer me an option but losing my plane ticket,"
Ulemper: "Designs of Business Class seatings need some improvement. It seemed there was waste of useful space. Therefore, the area for Business Class seating was big but there were not enough space for everything."

I was sent to three different terminals (which required two different bus transfers) to get to my United flight to the states. I had been warned by a friend that the Paris airport is the worst. It is! And the airlines should bear some responsibility for the lack of clear information. I could write about this for a long time."
Fordele: "Pillows were great, blankets clean and comfy, food was even good, staff was extremely helpful and polite.."

Ulemper: "There was no space. Even though I wore compression socks and got up to walk frequently, my legs were bruised as I could not stretch out for any extended time. The seats are cramped and you are in one position. The flight was almost 9 hours and it was too much for me."

Ulemper: "Seats in economy class are way too crowded, plane was too warm and air was stale (and had an odd odor). Choices of dinner selections ran out quickly, and serving any type of curry (the only option left) on an 8 hour flight is a very questionable choice.... Staff gave some people the full can of drinks, while others only a half glass. Also, even though there was not much turbulence throughout the flight, the plane was still VERY shaky for the majority of the time in the air. Not very comforting for those who are not frequent flyers. In the future, I plan to stick with British Airlines."

That plane was like the bottom level of the Titanic where people were squizzed in. Upon arrival in Vienna getting off the plane we had to take the stairs and the bus to the terminal - that's how small the plane was. Just awful."

This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Fordele: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Ulemper: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Ulemper: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Fordele: "Only thing we liked was the fact that we were able to get onto our flight at all..."
Ulemper: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Fordele: "I have used Kayak for years without issue. This time I was flying SAS for the first time. The plane broke and so that was the first huge delay SAS had terrible customer service. They reminded me several times that I was not a preferred customer and that I had bought my ticket through kayak. This is the reason they gave for lack of help. It was frustrating to say the least. I’m not sure how they expect to gain repeat customers if they treat first time customers like that."

Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."

When we boarded the plane, we saw multiple people whose carry-on looked suspiciously over the weight limit. We felt singled out. It was obvious that this airline only cares about profit and does not care about the customer. Attendants were rude and not helpful. Needless to say I will nit fly with this airline again."

So that was pretty annoying..."

Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."

I left one bag at the front of the plane and had another at my feet. However, it was a short flight, so not too unbearable."

Ulemper: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

Ulemper: "The passage through Riga airport was terrifying. We arrived from St. Petersburg 6.35 and we left 7.20 to Paris (passengers in transit). We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."

Ulemper: "They delayed our flight from Gatwick to Riga with no information given to passengers. Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

Ulemper: "In Stockholm they denied my boarding to Riga and Moscow as they told me that I need Shengen visa. When I was buying ticket I wasn't informed that I need to have Visa. I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket."
Ulemper: "I was flying transit, but I had to go through the check-in in Paris. At the check-in they started to make problems about my carry-on luggage. I had just two flights from the United States behind me and no problems at all and suddenly I can't fly with my carry-on luggage? I didn't like the AirBaltic check-in service."
Fordele: "Everything was very smooth and the crew was very attentive."

Fordele: "It's very inexpensive, especially if you fly with only with a carry-on luggage. On-board service has always been excellent."
Ulemper: "The check-in process is horrible, regardless of the airport you are flying from. It's just the trademark of Air Baltic. I learned my lesson and pay extra to use the priority check in line, as well as boarding. Otherwise you end up staying in a VERY long line. This time I was bumped from the seat that I picked when booking my flight, which was still assigned to me when I checked in online. No explanation or heads-up, I was just handed a paper boarding pass when I checked my bag, and only after I was past security line I realized that I was bumped from row 4 to row 10. I was able to get a seat in row 4 again at the gate, but not the same seat. Also, there was no priority boarding, even though I paid for it. Given this experience I will only fly this airline if I can get away with a carry on, thus avoiding the check in desk altogether."
Fordele: "The equipment used for the trip to latvia. the cs300 was superb and I enjoyed my seat. It was comfortable. The boarding was quick and efficient. spacious and quite lovely. the food was ok . i enjoyed the grilled pork."
Ulemper: "the customer service rep stopped only me, the only black man travelling from riga to russia and was scrutinizing my passport for some long agonizing minutes. My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."

Ulemper: "No free food or drink of any kind. That would have been okay since prices were reasonable. However, they completely skipped my row on my side of the plane, and I had to use the call button to get service."
Fordele: "Booked on kayak and wasn't clear at all about check in or tickets, I looked many times. No way of checking in or getting boarding passes had to pay an arm and a leg at the gate. Also had to pay to check my bag on a half full flight. Have never had to check same bag with Ryanair on over 10 flights now. Will never use this airline again."
Fordele: "The flights were on time, and the Riga airport was efficient."
Ulemper: "The planes seemed very old and rickety. One was an old propeller plane that looked like it had a large patch. The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."

Ulemper: "I didn't like anything about AirBaltic and will never fly with them again!!! If you can avoid them, do yourself the favor and do so. They forced me to check in my bag at the gate claiming that my luggage was too large to be a carry-on, even though I have traveled the world with the same carry-on and the person at the check in counter did not mention anything about the size of my carry-on when I checked in for this flight. This seemed like a stupid pathetic scheme to get more money from their customers. The in flight experience proceeded to be even more pathetic: they don't even serve you water, you have to purchase even such "luxury". What kind of airline doesn't even offer free water to their customers??? It is simply called a human courtesy! This was by far the most pathetic airline business I have ever come across."
