1.Grand Hotel Kempinsky is a luxury hotel, but what was more then excellent was staff attitude , help, and feeling they serve you without feeling they waiting for tips as many times I felt at other hotels, any problem at each level was answered promptly and pleasantly always over any expectations we might have. They give more then necessary on any request like our satisfaction is their only purpose. The hotel restaurants are excellent , the staff very honest in their help thinking for us benefit.We inquired for a special dish -well the waiter suggested that maybe we should share it as it might be enough for sharing.We got this italian speciality it was excellent and indeed enough for two and it was not the most expensive choice on the menu. They give us cards for public transport in Geneva good for train, bus or tram, or the boat in front of the hotel to take us over the lake in the middle of Geneva downtown. Only point of weakness we found was the slow WIFI in our room, but instead they gave us free wired internet connection super fast both at upload and download. That served any business connection I needed.
very good location the leisure facilities were closed for refurb ,also the bar and 2 of the restaraunts - we were not informed by e-mail about this

very close to the main train station,nice and clean,staff helpful we had requested for a double bed but we only got 2 single beds stuck together.we asked reception if we could have a double bed room as requested but receptionist said they dont have any doubles!The rate for the hotel was quite high considering there was no breakfast included,but hotels in geneva are expensive!

The staff were very courteous. We had a nice view from our window. The lounge near the entrance is lovely but the furniture is very uncomfortable. Room 123 was nicely decorated. Room 324 less so. Both nights were disrupted by loud music from the bar below. After midnight on the 2nd night, we asked to be moved to another room. Packing our luggage and moving (into a worse room) added to the aggravation of the noise problem. We lost 4 hours sleep and received no compensation on our bill when we checked out. We would not choose this hotel again.
Bayview and Arabesque, two of the hotel's restaurants, had some of the best food I tried in Geneva. The staff was friendly and their service flawless.
