Location and comfort. Price
Very friendly and helpful staff
The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was big and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was terrific Hotel system was down at check Iin. So didn't get to room until later. Ordered a cab for 5 people, 5 hours before we needed it and it didn't arrive. Staff ran around blaming others, but still no cab arrived for 5 people. 20 minutes later, we ended up taking two cabs. Next day (Sunday) we asked for a late check out of 1 pm (only an hour after regular checkout time). They said no, we could have until 12:30 only. The price of the room far exceeds the services provided.
Great location. Easy to walk to Harbor front, CN tower, Aquarium and more. All just 5 mins walk away, great for kids of all ages.
Staff was competent and very friendly. Concierge helped me several times and obtained discounted tickets to Aquarium and Hockey Hall of Fame. Hotel overlooks railway and train noise started early in the morning and was clearly heard in the rooms-go street side. No refrigerator or minibar in the room and no movies on TV.
Service, location, room, views and property. Nothing
Not a thing
As soon as I arrived , I was greeted with a warm welcome where I felt like I was home away from home. I told the concierge that it was my first time in Toronto and he upgraded our room to the lake side view. When I got to the room, I saw why he had upgraded to the Lake view was even more incredible than I had imagine
Room layout, lighting, bathroom & view HVAC - too warm without windows that open
Friendly staff, value for money and very clean Nothing not to like
Ease and comfort checking in and out. Facilities are fantastic!
Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was professional and courteous. Nothing
their rooms are very clean. their lobby's workers are very kindly. their restrant's workers have a poke face.
The service and styling is spot-on, generous room size and appointments that made the price good value
Location, good service at the reception, proximity to convention centre and train station. Great view in room 2500. Nothing
best value, great location, upscale, would stay nowhere else in downtown Toronto price of two drinks in the bar, asked for a glass of wine and a scotch and got a bill for $38
Friendliness of staff, good breakfast, excellent room.
Comfortable room, with amenities. Staff friendly. Convenient to convention center. Faucet may have been a bit leaky. Didn't love the bedding, but got used to it.
I enjoyed the quality of the room, th ebed was especially comfortable. the spa closed early and the prices of in room dining was out of proportion of Canadian hotel prices.
Location Rooms could have been cleaner
The quality of the hotel for bthe price. The inclusion of breakfast was a great plus.
We were in town for a concert and a Jay's game, the location was perfect. We love to be near the waterfront when in Toronto and this was our favorite location so far. The hotel is smaller in size which is nice, not too busy, it's clean and the staff was great. The pool area on the 5th floor is a great location to sit at night and enjoy a cocktail while people watching. We have no complaints about this hotel. A little pricey but I guess you pay for location.
The location was pretty good with pretty quick access via street car to the main subway terminal. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. This is definitely not a luxury hotel. Things look nice but the hotel is old with a new coat of paint. You can tell where the renovations were done on a budget so things looked nice, but were not actually done well. In addition, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the people in the next room having a conversation. We did get the hotel for a very good rate, but there is absolutely no way the rooms are worth normal price. The hotel itself is not bad, but it is by no means 'luxury.'
very nice updated hotel close to many attractions and public transportation. staff could have been more knowledgeable about locations and attractractions
Great location between Ontario lake and the CN tower!
Loved the full wall of windows with shutters on them in the bedroom and windows/skylights in the bathroom. Made the room so wonderfully bright in the mornings. Modern updates gave the room a high-end look and feel. Very beautiful. Very comfortable. We experienced four minor annoyances. Firstly, the fireplace (which came with a remote - pretty cool) made squeaking noises when it was on. Secondly, the mattress was overdue for a change - my side had a significant body indentation in it. Thirdly, the lower spigot in the shower was not attached to the wall - it stuck out about a foot or so into the shower. Lastly, the old tub is still in the bathroom but really just takes up space (it's a short tub, so no spa-like soaking). None were huge issues, just minor details that should be addressed.
Settled into the hotel restaurant for dinner--seemed nice at first glance--only to discover that the only way for guests to use the pool facility is to enter and exit, you guessed it, right through the restaurant. Read: noisy kids, waterlogged floors, noisy commotion, did I mention noise? Yeah. Noise, lots of noise. What an incredible fail for Radisson.
Room was clean bright and comfortable, staff was professional courteous and quick. Parking was an issue, went to a ballgame and left after the game. Vehicle was left in parking lot at hotel took me over 35 minutes to exit lot. Restaurant at hotel is beautiful but not family orientated.
Everything was great and staff was amazing. Very clean. Great location a couple blocks from everything. Parking was a mess was told $21 dollars but credit card was charged $35
Room was nicely appointed, clean. Location is great although construction is going on in street for awhile
The location was phenomenal, within walking distance of so much -- only a 10-15 walk from Air Canada Centre, a couple minutes from the Rogers Centre/aquarium/CN Tower, and just a short subway ride from the ROM and Casa Loma, etc. The restaurant behind the hotel (Amsterdam Brewhouse) was absolutely fantastic as well. The rooms were so clean and big and comfortable. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. On top of it, the staff was so friendly and helpful, making for an even better stay. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact that parking wasn't free for hotel guests (it was $21/day), but I know that it's a hotel in the downtown area of a large city, so they can't really control that/you should expect to pay for parking.
The breakfast french toast was delicious. Good downtown location. Room didn't have blackout curtains, but it did have Eastern exposure (i.e. the early sun). I think the more expensive rooms had blackout curtains, but that should be a standard feature, not one you pay more for! Bathroom didn't have a toilet-paper dispenser. Had to unroll it on my own. Nor did the shower have a full closing door- only half the shower was covered.
Location and the updated modern rooms were very clean!
My room was large, beautiful, and clean. The hallways were a bit difficult to navigate and I got lost a couple of times until I got a acclimated to it. I went around in circles before I could find the elevator! The hotel is very special because it sits directly next to Rogers stadium, which is the home of the Toronto Blue Jays, & I understand that there is soccer there too. If you sit in the hotel's restaurant, you can look directly into the stadium, and it's a great deal of fun. However, I understand that there are some rooms that also look directly into the stadium but which do not have windows to the outside, so these rooms would make a sports fan very happy but perhaps others might be disappointed. Be sure to ask for a room that has a window to the outside if you don't want to face the stadium. The concierge was very nice, and attempted to be very helpful. However, she did not give clear enough instructions on how to get around the city. Taking a cab was a big suggestion of hers, & I really wanted to learn how to use public transit. Perhaps part of the problem, however, is that Toronto's subway system has not grown as the city has grown. It is not that widespread or complex, and in order to reach many places, there's a great deal of transferring necessary between train and street car. So this is difficult for a tourist to learn quickly.
Stayed for a concert loved it
We loved the location as it was a perfect home base for us to explore downtown Toronto on foot, via the Subway, streetcar and taxi cab. We initially chose the hotel for its close proximity to the cne and the cn Tower but were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to access many tourist attractions in the area. The hotel itself was clean, the pool was lovely and the staff were exceptionally pleasant. We'll be back! The exterior grounds were not up to the standard one would expect for an International hotel, (weeds, faded paint on signs, etc.)
Everything is very close by, Excellent living rooms in each room, not just a typical bed and a desk, and the TV check out was very convenient. they up graded us to a stadium view, that was good but they left the flood lights on all night. Seemed like a waste, but I guess that really has nothing to do with the hotel. Also we got unlucky and the kitchen was closed due to a break down, but I have eaten there before and it is very good
Large rooms and beautiful large bathroom. Staff friendly and happy to help
Fast check in, complimentary breakfast above the norm, close to transport and entertainment Expensive parking. Wifi should be free.
The hotel was very convenient and central to many of the Toronto tourist attractions, and the novelty of watching the baseball game from the restaurant was great.
Large modern room. Due to Blue Jays game they had no parking available when we arrived. I had to find off site parking which cost $40 then move my vehicle to the hotel after the game and pay hotel $35. So $75 to park, was NOT happy with that. No free wi-fi. Charge was $12.95. The room was not cheap, do they really need more of my money for wi-fi? I travel often and I cannot remember the last time wi-fi was not included for free. No in room safe.
City view room wasn't available when we arrived (which we were supposed to get) so they gave us a room with a view of the centre feild of the Rogers Centre so we watched the Blue Jays baseball game from our room. Loved it!
It's right next to the ballpark. You can eat lunch and watch the game from the hotel restaurant. Centrally located. It's super convenient. I hated the fact that they charge to use wifi or the internet in the business center.
it was a nice view and the water front wasn't to far from the amphitheater were i was going it was over priced for a small hotel like that
Rooms need a refresh.
From the moment you arrive, you are aware you are in a special place. The understated luxury and the attentive but discrete staff mean you can enjoy your stay in the knowledge everything you need is at your fingertips while enjoying as much privacy as you need. The wood-paneled design theme is carried through the hotel from the lobby to your room, which is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Do ask for a quiet room though as the noise of Toronto's condo construction boom can interrupt the tranquility in some areas (a problem not unique to Le Germain). But the hotel has even thought of that. It helpfully provides ear plugs in the bedrooms for those who are sleep-challenged. It's just one of the many little and big touches that make this hotel an oasis in the entertainment district of Canada's largest city, just a short distance from Toronto's island airport served by the Porter airline. 1. Super staff who don't get "in your face" 2. Understated charm of hotel with thoughtful design touches 3. FantastIc bedrooms with plenty of space (judging by our room) 4. Convenient location in Toronto's downtown theatre district and close to waterfront
Perfect and convenient. I will stay again!
The staff were very pleasant, well-informed and helpful. Kathleen, the concierge, was outstanding.
The room was very attractive, comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lighting in the room was poor.
Beautiful room and bathroom
Concierge service was excellent. The hotel was clean and well-appointed with lots of luxuries and very comfortable beds. Walburgers was horrible
The room is elegant and very modern kept to wait for more than one hour to get my room ready
Best bathrooms and very friendly staff Room opposite us had a big group staying in room and one night they made a lot of noise until the early hours of the morning
the styling generally, and the comfortable bed with top quality bed linen the room was small and i feel the price was a little on the high side
Great location, clean and spacious.
Nice hotel on the edge of the downtown core, an easy walk to restaurants and bars on King Street West, Queen Street West, Chinatown and Kensington Market. Hotel is low-rise and relatively small, which is a plus for me. Easy, but somewhat expensive parking underground with direct access to hotel. Luxury room was comfortable and spacious.
It's a quite hotel with less traffic of people made it convenient for me. Needs to make facilities more inviting and pleasant: restaurent and breakfast area.
We enjoyed the accessibilty to our intended events, and truly enjoyed the comfort of the hotel and its amenities. Having worked for years in front desk reception, I found some of your staff to be too formal or "stuffy", as opposed to sincerely welcoming and professional.
The hotel rooms and very nice and the staff are wonderful to deal with. Andrew from the front desk helped us out more than once with a smile on his face each time. The continental breakfast was better than any I've ever had! We stayed here during TIFF and had an absolutely wonderful second experience at this hotel.
I love the offering of breakfast and having kitchen facilities.
The room was fantastic – clean, modern, spacious, fully stocked with everything we would need. The locations is great as well, accessible to everything downtown Toronto, close to the subway. Free breakfast was a bonus, and it was very tasty.
Staff was awesome. Room was dated, furniture not anchored to the wall
Very friendly accomodating staff. Clean and funcitonal room.
Large room with good facilities and was clean. lack of room service.
I had an in-room suite with kitchen and it was perfect for work. I was able to dine in my room and get work done. It was also close to the attractions of downtown Toronto so I spent half a day walking around. A bit pricey for parking but they do have valet parking.
Perfect location in downtown, to. Not far from the main attractions. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will def. stay here again!
Very roomy. Good location to entertainment district. Elevator service can be slow. Breakfast (free) can be crowded but I guess that's what happens when it is free.
The space of the suite we booked was comfortable and quiet and the small kichen area was well equipped.
It is in a great location for the entertainment district. I prefer quality over quantity for breakfast. I would recommend fewer items e.g. Organic granola instead of processed granola, that are locally sourced.
Great breakfast and friendly staff. Fantastic location close to everything.
