The concierge service was very cooperative from the moment I made the booking. The front desk was equally efficient.
Hard to pick up something I liked, maybe the LCD in the room or the location. Total mess in invoicing+guarantee made by a trainee at the beginning : fully paid accomodation + one person breakfast, I was retained for full guarantee accomodation + 2 persons breakfasts !!! thus waisting my credit card allowance. Plus that the final verification invoice was including another significant balance - another trainee ! - everything was finally cleared (that is I hope, at least !) by the manager in line, Cornelia. Thanks, Cornelia. So, be aware of front line trainees at Intercontinental Vienna !
Staff was helpful. Big welcoming lobby. Very small rooms, and they need to be renovated. Old furniture, the bathroom was tiny.
The staff was very helpful, the bar excellent and the food unsurpassed both for quality and value. Beds were good and location the best.
They have relatively small rooms. The amenities are good but the staff is not very friendly or helpfull. They are rather stuck up and obnoxious. The concierge is manned by the back office and sometimes it takes them a while to arrive. They are not in possession of a lot of information they should have at their fingertips. The breakfast is wonderful. Large selection etc. Had dinner there also but the selection is poor expensive and portions are small. See above
On arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and attentive. We looked for a spacious room as my husband has a disability and needs extra space to get around on his walking frame. The room provided was really good. Staff in the bar and restaurant were also very attentive. We liked having tea/coffee making facilities in the room. On the basis of our experience, we will definately return.

I liked the location, 10 min walk from the city center. The bathroom was quite dirty.
I made a mistake and did wrong date reservation. They were very helpfull in the reception and finally I got three rooms! It was very pleasure stay n the Hotel am Konzerthaus and we want be back soon... We did not get superior rooms as was booked.
good central location rooms need modernizing, air-co not potent enough for hot weather
A nice room, quite small though. Complimentary mineral water and shower gel / shampoon refilled every day. Very convenient location, withing walking distance to the main center. Confusing services, everything was charged extra and was very expensive (internet 8 Eur / hour!!!!, breakfast 19 Eur,...). It is a 4* hotel and not the cheapest one, and also because of these extra charges we did not feel as welcomed there as we would expect.
the room is small but the huge Klimt painting reproduced above the bed makes the room very cosy the breakfast buffet was not 4 stars standard
Very friendly staff. Helpful information provided. Excellent location and value. Bathroom had mold on tiles--needs upgrading.

Staff is very friendly and helpful thus compensating for the general poor condition of this sofitel hotel. The hotel does not have the usual sofitel standard. It would need a complete make-over.
Nice and friendly staff. For some reason they use an artificial air-fresh system. No idea why since it is not nice. Please be aware if your booking is including breakfast. If not the breakfast is widely overpriced.

i liked the point that i have lived those nights in a more than 150 years old building, hotel imperial is a perfect gate for a tourist to live the old vienna no complaints
calling from the hotel is to expensive,i made two calls to my friend in austria and my bill was 450- dollar for maybe 40 minutes,thats grazy

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Outstanding service and everyone makes you so welcome even though we were only staying for one night.

Gorgeous hotel accentuated in red,gold and marble. Fitting for royalty. Excellent service for the most part. Nicest hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at. Concierge wasn't the most friendly. Would have loved a pool/ jacuzzi option. Understand it's a non traditional request, but it would be a nice addition.

We found a fabulous price on Kayak. We would not have stayed at the Ritz at their normal rates. It was a terrific value for us.
Nice rooftop restaurant with a good view of the city, and the staff is polite and attentive to your needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They do not have a dedicated concierge, and front desk staff was poorly trained and equipped to provide the customer service you would expect of a concierge. In the concierge capacity, they are neither proactive to support their guests, nor do they have the knowledge or experience to meet the needs of their guests Also, the window shutters in the rooms do not effectively block out light when you are trying to sleep.
