Frankrig har begrænset alle internationale rejser fra lande uden for EU, Andorra, Vatikanstaten, Island, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norge, San Marino og Schweiz. Rejsende fra Storbritannien/ikke-EU- og EØS-statsborgere, der er bosiddende i Storbritannien, får ikke adgang til Frankrig til ikke-væsentlige formål. Væsentlige rejser er stadig tilladt. Disse begrænsninger gælder ikke for britiske statsborgere, der har lovligt ophold i Frankrig. De får lov til at komme ind i landet igen, men det kan være nødvendigt at vise bevis for opholdstilladelse. Der er undtagelser for ægtefæller og børn til franske statsborgere, fastboende udlændinge med fransk opholdstilladelse og deres ægtefæller og børn, fastboende udlændinge i EU, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Schweiz, Norge, Lichtenstein, Island eller Vatikanstaten og deres ægtefæller og børn på vej hjem samt sundhedspersonale. Flybesætninger, personale fra diplomatiske og konsulære missioner og internationale organisationer med kontorer i Frankrig samt deres ægtefæller og børn samt handelssøfolk kan også stadig komme ind. Masker er obligatorisk for alle rejsende over 11 år.
Rejsende skal udfylde en erklæring (déclaration sur lhonneur) i form af selvcertificering, at de ikke lider af symptomer forbundet med COVID-19 og ikke har været i kontakt med bekræftede tilfælde i de foregående fjorten dage. Rejsende skal fremvise en lægeerklæring med et negativt COVID-19 PCR-testresultat udstedt inden for 72 timer før afgang. Børn under 11 år er undtaget fra at præsentere et COVID-19 testresultat. Rejsende, der ankommer uden for de ovennævnte lande, skal have en International Rejsecertifikat til indrejse og transit Frankrig, der viser, at deres rejse er af "væsentlig" karakter.
Rejsende uden negativt testresultat, der ankommer fra kategori 2-lande og fra lande der ikke er nævnt ovenfor, er underlagt karantæne hvis de nægter at tage en test ved ankomsten.
Der er særlige regler for rejsende, der rejser gennem Frankrig for at vende tilbage til deres bopælsland. Kun direkte transit til Deres bopælsland er tilladt. Rejsende må ikke forlade den internationale zone og har ikke adgang til Frankrig. Bagagen skal tjekkes helt frem til det endelige rejsemål, og rejsende vil ikke kunne forlade den internationale zone for at hente og tjekke bagage igen. Transitperioden skal være under 24 timer.

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "the entertainment kept cutting in and out on itself, and i was listening to classical music and it simply didn't work to hear anything whole. annoying but not critical"
Fordele: "1st Class is a joke. They leave the middle coach seat vacant. You do have more overhead storage since there are fewer people in "1st Class". Otherwise you may as well be in coach. For flights within Europe this appears to be the standard. Save you money fly coach when traveling within Europe."

Ulemper: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"
Ulemper: "Flying for funeral and they changed my destination from 2 flights to 3 because of a 3hr delay. Nobody cares about your wellbeing"

Ulemper: "Worse travel day of my life. I'll never fly Lufthansa again and never go thru Frankfort again. Lost luggage both ways. Awful experience!! Hundreds of gates and we had to ride a bus out to the plane. Airline kept complaining to passengers that they didn't have enough personnel. Flight was late! Given totally incorrect information about luggage retrieval in Chicago. Not required! Waited 45 minutes for luggage that was not there and was supposed to be headed to Houston but did not arrive there either. Still waiting..."

Need more time to pass the long lines and still be able to catch the connecting flight. Not a smooth connection."

Ulemper: "2 people working passport control in line about 100 people were in. Most had connecting flights leaving shortly. People were panicked they would miss their flights."

Ulemper: "cause it was a sauna. Temperature of the airplane was waaay to hot. Individual seats didn't have control of any vents. I had to get up and walk to bathroom area just to cool off."

Ulemper: "I have flown on many budget airlines that were more comfortable than this flight. Hard uncomfortable chairs with a lack of leg space (and I'm only 1.70m). The food was poor and the service was worse- i pressed my call button for a drink mid-flight and it kept getting cancelled without a steward coming. Finally, after pressing the call button about 10 times a steward came and begrudgingly brought me a drink. Choice of movies was poor."

Ulemper: "I typically enjoy Frankfurt airport but perhaps because of a construction, not this time. There was endless walking to get to the gate for the connecting flight that wasn't supposed to be all that far. After about 20-25 walk, we finally arrived to .... the train station that took us to the next terminal. Really? It takes 20-25 to just get to the train when walking straight without the train shouldn't be taking any longer? In addition, our (checked-in) car seats were not transferred and never made it to our final destination, so we had nothing to put the kids in for the ride from the final airport."

Ulemper: "Emergency landing, information not willingly provided. Passengers threatened with legal action for taking pictures of the emergency landing and aftermath. It appeared crew were more concerned with bad PR than transparency and comfort of passengers."
Ulemper: "The return leg has been nothing but a disaster, in every way possible, specifically my time and financially. At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"
