Ulemper: "After I got in my seat an Islamic lady came and said that I was in her seat. I looked at her ticket and while it was the right seat number, she was on the wrong flight. I got a stewardess to help her. She had gone through 3 boarding pass checks and was still on the wrong flight. They let her fly!"

Ulemper: "The staff though friendly was found to be unhelpful. I was literally carrying three bags and a toddler in my arms, and passed by at least three crew members. But none of them bothered helping me. Your measure of success is not just how well you treat your business class. That’s not being world class"

Fordele: "I enjoyed my flight,it was a smooth trip from Doha to Manila, the Cabin Crew received adequate training on taking care of people, as a professional nurse who is use to taking care of others ,I see someone else looking after me and I really appreciate their efforts. Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Ulemper: "The problem is when they linked a flights frome other airlines companies. Under ( one world ) On this flight the were linked with sirlankian airlines The flight was full and a lot of older asian on flight they don’t respect people and speak loudly The smell was not good enough"
Fordele: "They do not provide hotel service even in a 11 hour layover saying the ticket is pomotional. If that is the case, why they sell tickets on promotion? Cheap mentality"

Ulemper: "Waiting Area in DOHA for boarding does not have a latrine to use, so once you checked in you can't go back out."
Ulemper: "I didn't like that I had to get off the plane and then put back on the plane. That was not noted when buying the ticket. That is important information."

Ulemper: "No matter how many times I have traveled with Qatar (5 international flights in the last year); I still do not receive any benefits such a priority boarding or upgrades."

Fordele: "Flight was without any hitches, could have done better with boarding after the previous mishap of a 5 hour delayed flight and being forced to stay in Doha for a night which put everyone's schedules off by a day. Still, I would book another flight with Qatar airways for their efforts and overall good service."
Ulemper: "It would have been nice if Qatar Airlines also provided Priority Boarding for everyone on the flight that got delayed as there was a long line just to get to the boarding area."

Ulemper: "I had booked the Amaya lounge for the 3,5 hours stop over. It cost $50+ and was so not worth it! Bad food and uncomfortable chairs plus it was really crowded! Next time I'll just go to a cafe! No seats at the gate when I got there. Slooow boarding!"

Ulemper: "I get the whole more leg room argument, but sitting on a piece of plastic with almost no padding for 14 hours is nothing but torture! Food was average at best."
Ulemper: "They cancelled the booking without telling about that And also they didn't prepare a place for staying The desk manager said the booking cancelled by your company"
The boarding team could do a better job of crowd/line control. It was a gaggle.
The flight didn’t take off on time and was late an hour. Upon landing at our destination we had to wait on board for another half hour. With two small children in tow, a huge inconvenience and totally not worth the extra money paid for a direct flight.
Checking in was smooth.They can offer more options for food.

The Turkey-dc leg was awesome. The Bangladesh-Turkey service could have been better. Smaller things. In the pack given, noticed there was no k95 mask. The US leg had it. The crew in the Bangladesh flight were also not the friendliest.
It was a pleasure to travel with Turkish Airlines. Excellent food, entertainment, and staff, not to mention the little pouches with basic necessities for the flight and the safety bags. It really gives you the feeling that this company cares for the comfort and safety of their clients.
Was misdirected twice, also as a side note, RBC Avion rewards visa has the worst customer service when you need them. Switching cards as soon as I use all my points
Courteous and helpful. Comfortable, spacious seats. Arrived quite late which put pressure on connecting flight. Ground service to mitigate the late arrival was almost nonexistent and the one person I found to ask for help was rude and not the least bit interested in being of service.

As a pilot, i can tell you this can be avoided. Some of the crew were not friendly. Old movie library."
Ulemper: "New and updated plane, especially business class, more trained crew, seats that work and function normally, better and more food, served a light breakfast on an 8 hr flight. Updated movie library."

Ulemper: "Unrelated to your direct service, but as the largest user of the Istanbul Ataturk airport, the airline should address the lack of insfrastructure and personnel to deal efffectively and timely with x.ray inspection for the immense passenger traffic in transit. The LONG lines (crowds is a better word), makes the connection in Istanbul completely unacceptable."

Ulemper: "Cabin crew in business class were not especially friendly and was really lazy during the welcome drink service. They did not even ask each passenger and greeted them to see if they want anything. Instead, they just held the tray of welcome drink and walked around the cabin once, then poured all the unconsumed welcome drinks into the bathroom. Service after take off was abysmal as well. No smile, no addressing passenger by name, all the service was done in a rush and a totally weird manner. The food is not very much to my liking since it heavily consisted of cheese, and there is literally no choice for you to get away with that. Having a traditional Turkish menu is great at one hand, but in this case it was a huge no-no."

Fordele: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."
Ulemper: "This flight had 10 hours layover at Istanbul. Air line did not provide no hotel. Definitely I would not recommend anyone to take this types of flights with long layover."

Fordele: "same as above, i love that i was able to check in online and choose my seat. I love the kit (toothbrush, socks) and the quality of the pouch - super love it! Pillow and blanket as well is still the same quality as before."

Ulemper: "Mostly as a mother traveling with a stroller, they expected me to haul everything on my own. Stroller,car seat, child, two bags! They were impatient and impolite, unresponsive when I used the steward attendance call for water or to move my child's tray (for over two hours)... there was much I didn't care with this airline, from their customer call service (I filed a complaint) to the state in which my box arrived in Mumbai (again filed a complaint but no one folllowed up with me). I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone, especially if traveling with a child."

Ulemper: "The line to check in & get our boarding passes was ridiculously long -- it took us about an hour of just waiting in line before even getting to security."

Ulemper: "The crew were incredibly rude, it was badly organised, there we delays on our flights, the boarding process was a nightmare. After booking both mine and my boyfriend's tickets we were later warned that there will be an 8 hour lay over instead of the expected 3 hour (as booked). I will try my very best to avoid Turkish Airlines in the future. After taking many long haul flights in my life, I can safely say that this was my worst and most disorganised travel."
