Ulemper: "We were not allowed to board our connecting flight and are stranded currently at the Istanbul airport and had to book our next flight with indigo as the staff closed the boarding ahead of time even though we were on time. Lot of shouting and crying by other passengers happening for the same reason."
Ulemper: "same as before on luggage as it was directly sent to SFO The security check again was painful as it was just a transfer and we only had 1 hr in between, didnt think there are additional security check again for transfers"
Fordele: "Yes on your ticket you ask me to have one bag luggage 1 piece max 40 insted when I reach air port LHR they refused then it cost me 85£ extra to buy new bag I am sending my clam to soo"

Ulemper: "1.cabin temperature varied from cold to very warm 2.I asked the cabin crew for a blanket but they forgot about it 3.I ordered a whisky with ice - was given half a tot with 2 small blocks of ice 4.only one person was serving drinks and food on my aisle so it was very slow service (other aisle had 2 crew serving)"
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "I'm very angry because the trip late more than an hour, which caused me to delay the trip Riyadh to Abha and lost the value of tickets. I think this is last flight of me for Turkish airlines."

Fordele: "While my family and I were waiting for boarding in chairs in front of the gate, my little child falet down and had very minor cut with one blood sign and drop but first aid group came and made some tissue cleaning to the cut with detergent. They told me that medical report is required by the flight captain and this report will cost me 230 TL. I told them no need for their report but they told me that I may not travel and the male misbehaved againest my wife when she told him that no need for their medical assistant and he replied this is not your country. They sqwezed us at the last minute and my remaining family at the plane and they told me that I am not authorized to travel with my wife and small child. We are total of 9 passingers. We were only remaining at the lounge. I told them my remaining family are at plane and I must travel otherwize I am going to claime all charges againest Turkish airline. Finaly at last minute they let me board."

Ulemper: "Seats would have been sufficient for a one hour flight but not for 13 hrs. I am 5.11. not enough leg room and not wide enough."
Ulemper: "On our way back to US, we were kept in a small area with no air conditioner for one hour."
Fordele: "Entertainment is good, many movies and games for kids."
Ulemper: "Flight attendants are rude and food was terrible! No menu and no selection to choose."
Fordele: "Seatback entertaininment options were amazing. Food wasn't always designed for the American palette, but most of it was pretty good, and they put a good effort into it, unlike US carriers. Flight attendants were great. Boarding was organized and smooth."
Ulemper: "It's just hard to make a 14 hour flight in economy comfortable. Another inch or two of space would have helped, but I understand the tradeoffs involved in that. Baggage collection at IAH took about 30 minutes, but that may have been the airport's fault and not the airline's."
Fordele: "Awesome service, comfy business cabin! The Atlanta employee who managed the laptop return was one of the best employees/representative of a company I have seen. He was open, friendly and communicative keeping everyone informed of the process of laptop retrieval and was organized despite it all. I wish I got his name!"
Ulemper: "Checking laptop in Istanbul was very inconvenient, and retrieving it in Atlanta took a lot of time as we had to wait at baggage for it to arrive. Not Turkish rule, but still a consideration for future flights."
Fordele: "The service is excellent and they do everything in their control to make a long flight comfortable."

Fordele: "Flight crew did a wonderful job and truly looked to be enjoying their work! The meal was far better than those on bigger airlines. Metal flatware! Combination of everything made for a nice journey with little opportunity for disappointment! Wonderful experience!"
Ulemper: "The security at the airport is a little too much. Once we landed at Istanbul we went through a security check point which took about 30-40 minutes. I barely made it to my connection flight . Then I went through another security check before boarding the plane. Unnecessary in my opinion"
Ulemper: "TV did not work. Crew said there are a lot of broken TVs and there is nothing they can do."
Fordele: "Flights left on time. Boarding was good."
Ulemper: "It was blazing hot on every flight. Several guests complained yet the staff kept saying it was cool enough and would not turn it cooler. Although the menu said cheese sandwiches were available at any time, we were told there weren't any when we asked for one. The guest next to me would push the attendant button and the staff would walk by several times without even making eye contact with her."

Ulemper: "This is one of the worst airlines I have flown with. I travel internationally frequently, I had used Turkish Airlines on a domestic flight in Turkey back in the 90's. It was a decent experience. So I decided to book my flight to Athens with Turkish Airlines. I bought a nonstop flight from LAX to with one and a half hour layover in Istanbul and then flying to Athens on the same day. I was assigned bulkhead seats on the way over. On the day of the Parcher at the Turkish airline counter in LAX I was informed that my seat assignments were changed. The agent could not/ would not give me a satisfactory answer as to why! During the course of the same conversation I was also informed that my layover Istanbul is not 1 1/2 hours, instead it is seven hours and I will be flying out to Athens The following day. My flight was randomly changed to a later flight without my knowledge! After a long wait at the ticketing counter, the manager switched us back to the original itinerary. Sadly it doesn't end here. The take off was about an hour and a half delayed. This was about exactly the same amount of time I had as layover Istanbul airport. I asked several flight attendants about how will Turkish Airlines will handle this delay as my connection to Athens was in jeopardy. Again not one flight attendant could give me a straight answer. Some said "well hopefully you will make it to the next flight". One said "the pilot we will make up for the lost time". I also noticed that my original bulkhead seat assignments were given to three ladies who were friends of a first class flight attendant! it was really annoying to watch the flight attendant bring them treats from the first class kitchen area. It was clear that our seats were intentionally switched as a special favor. Long story short, upon arrival we were told that the our connecting flight is at gate 501 only to find out there was no plane at the gate!! We never found out what happened to our original connection to Athens, but we ended up waiting an additional 5 1/2 hours in the airport for then next day flight. No explanation given, no accommodations provided, no apologies!"
