Everything good accept food not good

It is just a normal flight. Short flight. The Aircraft was bit older and was very shaky.

serving food w.ith heavy air tubulance is not advisable especially with hot drinks. Late serving may irritate some passengers but food can wait and safety of the crew is more important..

Ulemper: "The service was beyond awful! The Flight Attendants had a “could care less” attitude. I had special ordered a meal, and they gave me the wrong one. I did not want to make a big deal, so I just ate it. Then they did not offer any beverages when the meal came! I literally had to beg them to make me their famous “Singapore sling”. Shocking really!!. When I had my coffee, my request for cream and sugar went ignored THREE times. Finally they grudgingly gave me only cream, rendering my coffee undrinkable. .....And the list goes on. Never ever will I travel on this horrid airline again!"

Ulemper: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

Fordele: "Cabin crew was top notch - even in coach they could not be more accommodating and customer friendly. US airline flight attendants don’t even come close to this team that truly serviced the cabin for 8 hours continuously without the typical hiding in the back of the plane and chatting. Very encouraging that genuine care in the air is very much alive and well on Singapore Air! I will fly them every chance I get!"

Air travel doesn’t have to be a cattle herding process with peanut treats on cross country flights - shame on the US carriers - I strongly suggest they fly Singapore Air to see what true customer service feels like!"

Yesterday, I got home 1.5hrs later than I should have. I have also to pay for additional surcharge due to midnight cab fare. Further, when I wsa travelling to Jakarta - none of the inflight entertainment was working. So it has been disappointing."

Ulemper: "It was an 8 our overnight flight to another time zone where we had a full day ahead of us so we needed all the sleep we could get but instead we were fed around midnight. Lights went out for about two hours, it seemed, before we were told to put our chairs upright for the person behind us so they could serve another meal. We arrived about 10am completely shattered."

There was no one in the seat next to me so i thought I'd use that screen.. but then that one got stuck too. Remained stuck for the rest of the flight... The USB cable for charging didnt work. And entertainment options were very limited too."

Ulemper: "The fact that I missed my connection flight in Thailand because of a two hour delay. I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"
Fordele: "The flight was quite comfortable. We lucked out with only a partially filled flight leaving extra space to sleep. Service was friendly and the food was excellent! I was fed twice on my 9hour flight and once on my 4hour flight. Great in flight entertainment."
Ulemper: "I was woken up for food but I like to eat so it didn't bother me much. Another airline I flew before left a note one my seat informing me they came by and to ring when I awoke for food, that was even better maybe try something like that for sleeping guests."

Ulemper: "Flight delayed about 2 hours past schedule. When drafted my seat fouls not recline. When I asked for assistance from flight attendant she practically blew me off. This was a9 hour flight!"

Ulemper: "One of my luggage bags was left behind and it needed to be shipped to my home 4 days later."

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed but that wasn't the main problem. Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as, if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

Fordele: "No personal entertainment screen. No USB jack. These alone are unacceptable esp for an international flight. Food was terrible - vegetarian option was plain pasta!. Seats cramped and too close together. Crew didn't manage passengers putting luggage away so passengers did it very badly taking up overhead room with jackets and small bags. Gate was overcrowded and hot without enough seats. Staff was pleasant though and friendly and courteous and efficient."

Ulemper: "I've been flying to Greece for many years and this was the worst flight I've ever had! The flight was over packed. My fiancé and I did not get the seats I originally selected. Seats were so small and extremely uncomfortable. We had to wait for about 30' before we took off WITHOUT air conditioning!! That was miserable!!!! Last, I found HAIR in my food!!! Although, the flight we took from Atlanta to Instanbul was one of the best flights I've ever have taken. Mixed emotions.."

Fordele: "It was a 12 or 13 hour flight and except for sitting too much we were never uncomfortable. The service level made me think we were back in the 80's. Hot towels, attentive service, tons of food and free drinks. There was actually one meal that we would have eaten even if it wasn't on a plane. They gave out full size blankets and pretty fluffy pillows. (I bring our own anymore, because you never know if you will get one on most airlines, and if you do they're usually useless). Their entertainment system was amazing. We caught up on all the recently released movies that we've wanted to see for FREE! If only Netflix had this quality of movie offerings. They had fresh flowers in the huge bathrooms. It's that type of attention to detail you just really don't see anymore."
Ulemper: "Can't think of a thing that could actually be changed."
Fordele: "Turkish airlines changed my flight to another airline free of charge and for the same day. The new flight was definitely double the price that I originally paid and got my to my destination a lot faster than I would have if I had been able to take the original flight. Alitalia was a great, direct flight to my final destination."
Ulemper: "Of course having a cancelled flight is always a negative but the worst part about my experience was that I waited 2 hours in line before being helped to change my flight, and I was only about 8th or 10th in line. They also only had one person to help everyone at the ticket counter until 2 hours later they added another person. In the end everything worked out and everyone was for the most part really nice but that waiting was annoying."

Ulemper: "My flight was supposed to leave at 3 am. Not was delayed till 4:30. I had only 25 minutes to catch the other flight. I made it last minute. I asked the Turkish airline representative at the gate if my bag is on the plane. He said "yes". When I arrived to London I couldn't fibd my bag. I spent more than an hour looking for it since the employee assured me it was loaded to the plane, the person who was waiting to pick me yo had to pay around 15£ parking and wait for one hour and a half. I arrived without luggage. I have everything in the bag, my umbrella, jacket, cloths, pajamas, underwater, everything... the allowance that Turkish Airlibe said they will give allowed me to only buy a Pajama. I am totally NOT satisfied. I will not travel on this Airlibe again"

24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.

It was NOT possible to watch a movie and hear the sound too! I gave up! Not a great offering for the extra dollars..."
Ulemper: "So many things! Starting with the way assistance in the airport is offered to travellers with mobility issues! This is an important issue that needs to be revisited and changes for better service to be made!"

When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Ulemper: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."
Fordele: "Left ontime and service was excellent."
Ulemper: "The cabin crew was racist. She told me to move back from an empty seat just because she wanted one of the guys ( from her country ) to set on it! Very rude and racist."
Fordele: "Nothing really"
Ulemper: "Flew KLM 27 years ago and the airlines seem to be stuck in the same era. Food is poor quality... Have you recently checked the Gulf carriers."
Fordele: "Flight crew was fine. Food was good."
Ulemper: "Checking in was extensive for unaccompanied minor. But gate crew was very unnattentuve and though we showed up as first in line, they did not focus, and kept saying to wait. Ultimately our son was last person on the plane."
Fordele: "Delayed flight but staff apologized as for safety reasons."
Ulemper: "Very late arrival"
Fordele: "Good information and helpfil boarding."
Ulemper: "Has to wait in confined area fir nearly 2 hrs before boarding. No restroom or refreshments within that area."
Fordele: "The aircraft was clean"
Ulemper: "The food was terrible, wifi was extremely expensive (Delta had free messaging over their wifi)"
Ulemper: "Amesterdam airport employee was really rude"
Fordele: "In flight food was enjoyable"
Ulemper: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."
Fordele: "Comfort economy well worth the extra."
Fordele: "The crew were just amazing, such lovely male stewards! They were helpful and friendly and generally wonderful."
Ulemper: "The entertainment was quite dated and didn't have new movies etc"
Fordele: "No chargers or tv on planes"
Ulemper: "At Amsterdam we were told that our checkin luggage wouldn't be at Sydney!! Some low fat meals were terrible!"
Ulemper: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."
Ulemper: "The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight"
Ulemper: "Flight delayed, had to take two more flights and was a four hour trip turned into a 12 hour, 4 countries trip"

Special meal was good (Asian Vegetarian), but that was the only meal for 6 hours. Luckily I had eaten lunch at the airport before boarding at 13.40. And waiting about 2 hrs in flight before meal service. Tea and coffee was served together with the meal, but there wasn’t enough space on tray to have both the meal, the included tiny water bottle, the meal drinks and coffee/tea. Other airlines serve tea at the end of the meal. It was clear Etihad just wanted to get the meal service over with and minimize the service. This was the only time during 6 hrs that the staff showed themselves. Otherwise no pre dinner drinks of any kind, no follow-up serving of at least water This was really one of the most terrible meal and drink services I have ever experienced on - 6hr flight. The food itself was nice - due to special order. On the outbound flight (AUH - BRU) they did serve a meal and an extra snack. And followed up with several rounds of water. Shame on you Etihad for terrible service. The Dreamliner 781 is spacious in etihad’s economy configuration. Their 787 economy (AUH-BRU) was much more cramped!!

What an absolute joke of an airline. 1) Flight attendant spilt a half a bottle of water on me and didn’t even apologise 2) Same tv shows and movies as 5 months ago. 3) no eye shades 4) entertainment turned off around 20-25 mins before landing and all headseats collected 5) staff"
Fordele: "On-ground customer service of Ethiad, Fatima. She was professional and understanding."
Ulemper: "Don’t overlook international flights and penalize travelers who don’t have a seat selection but checked in on time."
Ulemper: "My wife had a drunk passenger sitting next to her and the crew did nothing to stop the man from misbehaving.....what can I say to this inefficiency ??? I choose to not travel with ETIHAD ever again."
Fordele: "The crew were NOT helpful, The captain didn't inform us well about the delay"
Ulemper: "More communication with passengers, as well start the Entertainment screens early, NOT after take off ?? which is really strange ??"

Fordele: "Check-in was easy and smooth."
Ulemper: "Agents at check-in desk took longer time to process passengers, even though some desks had two people helping. The web check-in line moved slower than the line with passengers who had not done online check-in. When I booked my flight via kayak, I was not given an option to select seats (this was new) . I was able to indicate my seat preference but there was no followup. When I checked in online 24 hours before my flight, the only option for seats was in the middle, which I did not want, although I I knew the flight would not be full. I was able to change seats when I checked in with the agent in the airport ."
Fordele: "I was not put on the plane because they said my seat did not existed! I had purchased my ticket 3 months prior to departure and they said I did not have a seat on the plane due to overbooking. They clearly gave my seat away to someone else and this is not acceptable."
Ulemper: "Ethiad was not helpful at all and did not provide any same day help. They’re customer service was absolutely terrible."
Ulemper: "Need more leg room even for regular economy seating"
Fordele: "I liked my seat and the food"
Ulemper: "I did not like the cleanliness of the bathroom I did not like their entertainment I did not like that the flight attendants were bickering at each other not professional at all"
Ulemper: "Boarding process very delayed and we tired in this journey"
Ulemper: "Breakfast quality was not good .In breakfast they gave vegetarian food .Flight departed late by one hour ."
Ulemper: "No food I ask three time for coffee and tea still not get it Staff so rude I don’t know why staff was rude if you don’t have food let us know not get rude ."

Ulemper: "Rude on board female staff . Not one believed in smiling or using the word please. They all wanted to control the passengers with needless commands and orders"

Ulemper: "Food was mediocre,and while boarding the buisness class and economy lines are chaotic, looks like no one is in charge!"
Fordele: "Crew was friendly. Even though we were redirected to a new gate/plane and had half hour delay, our plane arrived on time."
Ulemper: "Was stuck next to an overweight lady who was sitting partially in my seat and crowding me. My gate was changed and we were redirected to a ghetto looking area for the gate. My luggage was not delivered along with my flight and I had to file complaint to get it delivered. It caused lots of hardship as I had no way of contacting my family to let them know I had arrived and was safe. They were all worried when I didn't come out of the airport at Hyderabad in a timely manner since I traveled alone due to an emergency."
Ulemper: "Head will hit the wall when using sink in toilet"
Fordele: "I like service in cabines"
Ulemper: "I didn't like service in JFK counters..they didn't let me in my hand carrying bag to cabin..but some passengers had big bags then my bag..."
Fordele: "Both of our flight were very comfortable. They gave us pillows, blankets and great food even in economy."
Ulemper: "The second flight took off quite a bit late but we did make up some of the time"
Fordele: "The leg room on the economy seats is good"
Ulemper: "The entertainment options are not enough"
Fordele: "Staff were friendly and helpful, fast to attend."
Ulemper: "Seats are small, decor is old. Bread was stale."
Fordele: "Everything. Very accommodating."

Ulemper: "bags did not make it to final destination and were stuck in abu dhabi. we landed on sunday and did not get our bags until tuesday. we had a very long layover so unclear as to why our bags did not make it on to the flight. it was a big inconvenience"

Ulemper: "From the trip to india and the way back, The experience was horrible. The staff was rude and unwilling to help. Compared to other airlines very bad customer service. I will never fly Etihad again. I will actively tell people not to fly Etihad. At the Ahmedabad Airport they were unwilling to help and very rude!"

Fordele: "I enjoyed all aspects of the flight except the food."
Ulemper: "I did not likeep the food. It was oily and didn't have a good taste."
Fordele: "There was a technical problem on the airplane before we take off. The plane was in delay around 90 min. Captain of the plane was very reasonable in problem explanation, and we can feel that safety was on first place. All praise for captain and for the crew for very professional behavior."

Ulemper: "The food quality is sub par and the entertainment is not adequate compared to other Gulf airlines. I enjoy traveling and did not enjoy the quality of food and actually ran out of movies to watch on a 14 hr flight! I think their focus is on Business and First class. I like this airline so wish it wasn't so."
