Fordele: "The trip was excellent because first of all, I was the one who booked it. Secondly, I selected all the aisle seats. The airline isnine of the best with friendly and courteous crew."
Ulemper: "The USB port on my seat to charge my cell phone was broken. And the airplane gets warmer in the duration of the flight. The crew should always make sure that the air conditioning's thermostat is in the coller setting."

Ulemper: "the crew on this flight didn't timely deal with two situations I had. it took twenty minutes to get a cup of tea and I had to ask twice. then I dropped my nighttime mouth retainer on the floor and it also took twenty minutes and two reminders to have them sterilize it. My previous flight from JFK to Seoul was very good not this one."

Ulemper: "the seats are so closely packed any inclination inconveniences the person seated behind. in all respects save for the name and price this replicated a cheap budget airline. i expected more from SA. the flight crew was brusque and made it appear that they were grudgingly doing one s personal favor rather than their job"

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed 24hrs which is not the fault of Korean airlines however Boarding was so disorgainsed with no information on the process, almost no priority boarding. We were told that people with boarding passes of the original flight date had to wait for more recent passes. This led many to think that they would be kicked off the flight after waiting 24hrs. Once we did finally board we found that they had made a mistake and had to deboard a passenger resulting in an extra hour delay"

Fordele: "Disclaimer: we flew business class. Regardless, our check-in was seamless, Incheon is a beautiful and easy airport, all the flight crew were responsive and pleasant. We flew China Eastern and dealt with Shanghai airport on our flight out and I would avoid doing that again at great cost!"

Ulemper: "The food did not include varieties, may be is good for korean people but not good for others, the dishes were plastics and foils which are not good for human consumption after being heated. I missed my flight from seoul to saigon because there was two flights with similar time, one with korea and the other with vietnam air, both with similar time but both are with different concourses , then , the ticket did not indicate the gate number , then the airport information operator directed me to the wrong gate resulting in missing my flight to saigon and being subject to penalties which all are not my mistakes. Please fix your system"

Fordele: "We had a short connection after a Korean Air Flight from Hanoi to Seoul before catching KE 085 to JFK. The time pressure was heightened because the first flight take off was delayed. There was an attendant waiting as we deplaned in Seoul who escorted us to the gate and assured us that the plane would wait for us. And miraculously, our baggage tagged for short connection, did make it with us to JFK!"

There should have been a breakfast served prior to landing, but no food service after 1 a.m. though flight arrived at 7:40 a.m. Timing of meals was not convenient for me at all. They wake you up at 1 a.m. for your main dinner. I would have preferred to sleep until 5 a.m. then have a good breakfast. The amenity kit in Business Class was substandard when compared to other airlines"

Fordele: "This time I made the mistake of flying with my kids (4 and 6). The flight or them was last minute (booked less than 8 hours before take off) so there were no pre-planned kids meals etc. The in cabin team were awesome! They made sure they go a choice of meals, that they had things to do, that they were enjoying the flights. This on top of the usual awesome that they have."
Ulemper: "It's still in Huston. Flying economy isn't the same as flying business but my bank account says I need the cheaper option. Can we please move this flight to DFW instead? :-)"

Fordele: "Can't think of. We have been using Singapore Air for years and they were good. However, our recent few flights with them have been disappointing (hence the need for this review) - there's nothing to be happy about."
Ulemper: "Writing on behalf of my wife. All staff that she met have sour face, perhaps to signal the passengers not to approach them? True enough, the cabin crew did not help her to place her bag in the luggage compartment; the cabin crew did not serve water when requested, and on second attempt, the cabin crew told her to request at the ground. The cabin crews she has encountered clearly expressed their unwillingness to serve with their face and action. Is this the new direction of Singaore Air? The entertainment system requires installation of an app, hence is practically useless since we do not have the app preinstalled in our device."
Fordele: "Liked almost everything: newspapers, menu card, mini-toiletries bag, hot towel, food choice, ice cream, entertainment options, head sets provided (better quality than US airlines), lavatories kept clean and with less waiting time, number and friendliness of flight staff."
Ulemper: "What I did not like: Boarding was slower than expected. Large plane = longer boarding time."
Fordele: "New movies! Yes!"
Ulemper: "I asked for one of the crew to help me bring up my carry-on luggage, as i'm just recovering from a flu at that time. Instead the FA looked at my bag and asked me in an irritated tone if my bag was really that heavy? I said I was recovering and I just need an extra push once I lift it up into the cabin. In the end she did help but i did not appreciate her attitude and felt disappointed my whole flight."

Fordele: "Such incredible staff. Always Willing to go above and beyond! I flew 17 hours with them and they made the flight a breeze. Great airline, will be flying with Singapore again"
Ulemper: "Really nothing. I loved flying with them."
Fordele: "The aircraft was clean, new, spacious and quiet. The bathrooms were regularly maintained. The food quality, selection and quantity was excellent for the economy class. Even the serving utensils were solid metal and had a very high quality feel to it. Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."
Ulemper: "The crew lacked its usual pep and cheer. For some reason they seemed very introverted and tired. First time on Singapore Airline that I noticed. The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

Fordele: "Singapore airlines was awesome. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the cabin crew. They were very helpful and very eager to fill my needs. I will fly Singapore Airlines again without hesitation."
Ulemper: "Be more descriptive with which connecting flights we need to go on. We were not aware we we're supposed to get on Silk Air as one of our connecting flights, but we did eventually figure it out. It would really help to let us know your subsidiary companies."
Fordele: "Great seats and leg space in premium economy."
Ulemper: "We had the staff come to us twice to keep the "noise" down (we were travelling with a 2.5 yrs old). Now we travelled on other legs with Singapore airlines, with the same toddlers and same "noise" levels, but no one came to us to request to keep the noise level down... I am guessing that premium economy has a different (lower) threshold for toddler "noises" !! :)"

Ulemper: "Ordered a vegan meal for flight companion pre-flight; we *both* received a vegan meal (it seems like people with incompatible diets cannot book their flights together). Flight seemed to have run out meals since a random third person in my row requested an extra meal and was told they were out. Flight etiquette of other passengers would have been nice; for example, it was also fairly unsafe for a father and child to keep walking up and down the aisles, let alone the bumping into people they kept doing."

Ulemper: "Wifi, I was on replacement aircraft and no wifi for the whole flight"

Ulemper: "Upon arrival we were informed that each checked bag was $60. This was news to us. The NZ flight employee informed us that Air NZ informed us quite well of this info, this the booking agent was at fault."

Ulemper: "I was connecting on an International flight on same airline, New Zealand Air, and did not see where I was required to pay for our one checked bags for my wife and I. When I checked in on line I was not notified that I should buy the checked backs online so assumed one bag each was free. Instead we were charged $nz120. This is not acceptable and I would like a refund. Please help on this request. Thank you."

Ulemper: "Vegan breakfast was a bit odd (more of a dinner than a breakfast). Temperature was a bit on the cold side (I had a sweater, vest, jacket, and the blanket and was still cold)."

Ulemper: "Staff not incredibly nice but OK. The thing that bothered me most is that if you book through KAYAK that sends you to Virgin Australia, you can’t book bag, nor buy a meal if you want. I didn’t want to meal but I did want a bag and it’s a big difference. If you do it online it’s 39 Australian dollars, but if you do it at the airport it’s AU$160. That’s just outrageous and the staff was not helpful at all"

Fordele: "Was a huge help when my connecting flights didn’t link up due to flight delay, I was so stressed but every single person with air nz helped to make it as easy as possible and were so friendly!"

Fordele: "Booked these flights though Kayak. Landing from LAX at 0730 at Auckland international terminal and then departing at 0900 from the domestic terminal. This is not enough time, doesn’t allow for customs and immigration. It was a really stressful experience running between terminals with my luggage, as there was less than a 1 hour window after getting through customs and immigration, so the bag drop at international wouldn’t accept them. Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

Fordele: "My husbands booking was not processed correctly from the site we booked through, and we didn't notice the mistake until we were checking in. We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Fordele: "The boarding and on-board service were excellent. Enough free-of-charge entertainment to keep me occupied during the 3-hour flight between SYD and CHC. Plenty of room for carry-on luggage."
Ulemper: "Felt like I was flying a US carrier - very little room between the rows. I was surprised by this, as I thought that non-US carriers generally don’t pack their planes. I was surprised, but not inconvenienced by this, since it was a morning flight and only 3 hours gate-to-gate."

Ulemper: "Can't check in online with a VA per locator. You need an ANZ ONE. You have to call VA and forcefully ask for it. VA totally unhelpful. And when you get the ANZ number, they charge you to book a seat. Any seat."

I usually have difficulty sleeping but the isolation from aisle traffic and ambient noise reduction was enough to allow some very good sleep. Staff experience was also exceptional - friendly and highly competent, looking to go the extra mile. Food was great and full menu available upon request."

Even if you have diamond one world status (the highest) unless u fly business class there is no chance in getting more onboard for your carryon. Works best airline my a**!"

Ulemper: "No European movies in English at all, very disappointing for someone who is not into latest Hollywood ( silly) movies and doesn’t want to watch Bollywood or Chinese ones(( The “ dinner” food was barely edible, both from Singapore to Doha and from Copenhagen to Doha."
Fordele: "Overall a good service with good food."
Ulemper: "When flying from New Zealand to Doha, we departed Auckland at 15h25 and due to the time zone, most passengers body clocks would have been expecting sleep within a few hours. However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."
Fordele: "I appreciated the friendly and always service minded staff. The plane was clean and I enjoyed good leg room. I was happy with the menus and the film selection was entertaining and current. All over a great experience and I would not hesitate to choose Qatar again."
Fordele: "The ease of connection from New York to Nagpur. It was a breeze."
Ulemper: "My personal headphones (Beats) couldn’t be used in the headphone socket which was a bummer. Also, the only male guy in the crew was trying to solve some meal issues and was trying to tell the hostess how not to tell the passenger!! All of it could be easily conveyed discreetly but he seemed to be least bothered!"

This flight, the films are a bit better but still not the most recently films are on offer. Nobu's seafood soup noodles was the best!"
Ulemper: "Not interested in the menu's main courses. Fruits were not sweet at all. Must improve on your cappuccino. Nobu's seafood soup noodle did not come with chopsticks."
Fordele: "Due to the multiple booking mess, I got a middle seat in a 14 hour long leg as all all isle seats were taken. I requested an isle seat due to health issue but no help. The flight was 1.15 hour late and made me lose my connection at Chicago.Never flying Qatar again."

Ulemper: "Attendant was rude and never really finished service, never remembered any requests and consistently skipped guests when providing food or drink service, cabin kept oscillating between either too hot or too cold."

Fordele: "Qatar airlines blew me away! The food was top notch and frequent, the flight attendants were incredibly nice and attentive, the planes and entertainment were world class aND they were affordable for our flight from Boston to Bangkok."

Ulemper: "Traveling in economy is torture but then it's over. The sound wasn't working at my seat and I got tired of reading lips on the movie I wanted to see. But reading and sleeping weren't bad ways to spend the time."

Ulemper: "I am lacto vegetarian but my only option was vegan. Second meal was a banana and some tired bits of pepper and carrot. Surely an airline like Emirates can offer a meat-free option!"

Fordele: "I had a fast and easy check-in at Denpasar airport. In flight service by cabin crew was very good, as I normally get in the business class at Emirates. Flight left Denpasar on time and arrived in Auckland some 30 mins early, which was nice. Enjoyed a late dinner - the mie goreng ayam was particularly tasty!"
Ulemper: "In the past on overnight flights Emirates I have received a pyjama set in the Business Class, which made it very comfortable to sleep. But this time this was not given, so I had to sleep in my day-wear, which was a bit uncomformtable."
Fordele: "Obviously Biz Class is a great proposition for a flight of this length and once again the experience was a good one. Staff are always friendly and very attentive."
Ulemper: "We are not big eaters but when you leave at 10am then a lunch and breakfast is a bit of a stretch and even with light snack options we found ourselves hungry. Breakfast was not too flash"

Fordele: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Ulemper: "Noise of serving some people dinner in middle of night interfered with sleep. Deep dip South meant no internet for much of the flight lots of noise and inconvenience trying to fix Tvnz for (rude) lady in front"

Fordele: "Really liked the long journey. Was a bit nervous given the 15 hour flight but was pleasantly surprised. Service was good as well."
Ulemper: "The crew were really young and not very talkative."
Fordele: "The plane was spacious and we had really good seats , next to the toilet and wall in front of us. Super, as we were traveling with a toddler and he was able to sit on the floor in front of us and play with his toys. Food came out promptly and was tasty. Loved the goodies for the kids, little blanket and scotch pad."
Ulemper: "The delay in boarding! It’s hard work when traveling with a toddler."
Fordele: "Good facilities, food and entertaniment. Seat comfort not so good."
Fordele: "The service, food and boarding were all excellent. It brought back the joy of flying like what used to know in the 80s."

Ulemper: "We were delayed by over 2 hours We had no where to park when we landed so we had to wait for buses to take us toche terminal There was no new and exciting movies that excited me"

Fordele: "Extremely quiet plane since they placed people in front of the half empty plane. Great plane food and internet access, limited to text but still incredibly useful to text people from the air."
Fordele: "First time flying Emirates. Friendly and attentive staff. Flew on schedule. Comfortable seats. Nice food and clean restrooms."
Ulemper: "I checked in online, but when I went to drop my bags there was about a 20 min delay. the agent needed to make 2 phone calls and conference with 2 supervisors. All this without letting me know what was going on."
Ulemper: "Very late. Caused us to miss outlet rental car. Left us stranded at the airport."

Ulemper: "One food selection was good, another just plain bad."
Ulemper: "Restrooms trash bins were full midway through the flight and never cleaned. The restroom floors were full of used diapers causing the restroom and area around them to stink."
Fordele: "The A380 is a beautiful aircraft. Smooth and quiet. Great movie choices. Crew friendly and mostly efficient. Great value for money!"
