Everyone talks about how superior Qatar is, but I found nothing special about it...the seats, the food, the entertainment were all basic and nothing fancy. The crew, while very sweet, seemed inexperienced and green to me..but they were lovely and that's all that ultimately matters."

It was hard to eat at Qatar airport because not only is the food terrible (Burger King and bad Asian food) but outrageously expensive. Our media system did not work for one leg. ** way to many ads on your media system. Every time you watch a new TV episode, you have to sit through 5-6 ads for stuff that is not interesting and the same each time. ** plane info on media system keeps reverting to Arabic even when English is indicated as preferred la gauge. We had to place our iPads in checked luggage for flights from harare to USA as we went through Qatar. *** I asked for quiet seats and was given seats near kitchen and toilet even though I booked in hours in advance. One leg had my ten year old daughter and I in different rows even though I checked in 4-5 hours in advance Of flight . ** staff moved my hand luggage without my permission and without informing me - it was stressful trying to find it."
Fordele: "Excellent experience overall, the food was decent, the seats were comfortable and had enough space for me at 6ft tall, the staff were very friendly and helpful, entertainment selection was good with plenty of new movies out. I had no problems with my layover. The baggage allowance was great as I had extra luggage from my trip. I'm very happy with their customer service, the day before my first flight I received a phone call from Qatar's customer service saying that due to delays I wouldn't be able to make my connecting flight to Edinburgh so they would like to book me on another flight instead of me having to wait 24 hours in Doha. I was thoroughly impressed with this service."

It was as if they did me a favor by putting me on another flight."

As frequent travelers, I am aware rules change and am willing to comply. Being told my hand baggage had to be checked in and I cannot redistribute the weight or put things into my checking bags that were yet to be tagged was unreasonable. Started my trip on a negative note which was avoidable. I have found the training crew get and the ground staff get are disparate. As efficient as the onboard crew are, the ground staff in DXB and now NYC do not match up."

Not only did they (Maldivian Emirates counter officer Ibrahim Shinad) refused to give me a lounge they said to get a room at a hotel was $400 US! Which is absurd. I had to sleep on metal chairs. They also closed most shops by 12am and by the time we landed and went through checkin it was 1130. Not a pleasant experience at all."

Please have restroom facilities in boarding area, past security so you can use the restroom without having to go through security again. Also, if food and beverage is available for sale in the boarding area more passengers would make purchases."

Ulemper: "After thorough check (and hours at the airport) at the holiday destination, Dubai, my luggage was deemed lost. The DXB lost luggage staff helped me complete a 'lost luggage' report. However, the staff member told me that 'if' RwandAir found my luggage, I would be responsible for going to the airport as RwandAir does not have lost luggage delivery like most airlines. For the six days of my holiday, I waited for phone calls and checked emails expecting to hear from RwandAir. I heard nothing, RwandAir had made no effort of any kind to locate my luggage they had mishandled. Upon flying back home, I checked with the initial airport (DXB), the transit airport (Kigali), and my final destination airport (Brazzaville). My luggage was not in any of the airports mentioned. In each airport, and the RwandAir office at the Brazzaville airport, I presented the initial lost luggage form from the prior week and it was apparent that nobody, no airport, and no office was interested in finding my luggage. RwandAir, at no point, apologized for losing my belongings or in any way attempted to make up for seriously harming my holiday- not to mention the fact that it appears I will never see my possessions that were last seen being taken by RwandAir staff at the beginning of my holiday travels."

Fordele: "In general, it was a pleasant flight from Entebbe to Kigali. The Bombardier was in pristine condition. There was no food offered (the flight is 45 minutes) and there is no entertainment available. The crew was pleasant and the seat comfortable (I am 5'11). I would fly again with RwandAir."

One question, when will passengers learn that listening to music or movies on the plane without headphones is really uncool?"

Flight from Copenhagen was late, we didn’t make our connection in Zurich . airline new 3 hours ahead about our late arrival and did nothing. We stood in the line for 6 hours in Zurich to rebook a flight, until we were told that no more hotels available and no flights could be rebooked until morning. We stayed in the airport by the transferring desk and still are waiting for our rebooking it’s 5:00 am now.

Ulemper: "The flight attendants and employees at the airport seemed completely miserable. I heard flight attendants telling passengers on multiple occasions that because the flight was short they couldn’t help them."

Fordele: "From start to finish, Sevdije was in great hands. She had to be in a wheelchair, and there were three connecting flights in countries where she doesn't speak the language. It could have been so complicated, and everyone made it SO EASY. She was all smiles when she arrived in Boston. THANK YOU!!!!!!"

Fordele: "There was too little space between rows. Sometimes it was too difficult to watch a movie because the screen was too close to my face."

I tried online and calling the # that was provided no results. I managed to get thru to someone and they told me they would send the info to my email but they never did."
Fordele: "Air hostesses were very courteous, friendly and the cabin was clean and comfortable. My flight from jfk to Geneva (then Zurich) was cancelled due to weather in Geneva (Swiss 23) so I got upgraded to a delta flight to Brussels then to Zurich Comfort+ !!! Thank you!"
Ulemper: "Flight from Zurich to Johannesburg: Swiss 288 (airbus a340-300) Sat in the last row of the Swiss air flight, economy, which was okay but our whole row video enternatinment system didn’t work. You’d pick a movie and it wouldn’t play. The games, camera and flight status animation all worked but not the movies. Air hostess tried resetting , still nothing. But it was a great opportunity to have a lovely conversation with my new German Friend Barbara and read my book! More lactose intolerant alternatives for breakfast which had much (cheese, yogurt, croissant) Other than those two , excellent flight. Thank you Swiss!"

Ulemper: "Late arrival at Dubai, late departure and late at final destination...No information given to passangers!"
Fordele: "Food was better than some other long-haul flights I’ve been on. Plane fairly clean and comfortable."
Ulemper: "Entertainment options more limited than Delta or Virgin, who I’ve usually flown intercontinental. Boarding in Zurich was a mess. No order to it and they didn’t start boarding until 20 minutes before takeoff. Nearly every intercontinental flight I’ve taken needs closed to 45-60 minutes to do a full board. Sure we made up the time in the air but the process to get on the plane was frustrating."
Fordele: "Again very friendly and accommodating crew. By the time we took off and had a snack we landed quickly. Smooth landing and takeoff. Pleasant trip."
Ulemper: "No complaints. Smooth from start to finish."
Fordele: "It was a great flight. Even the food wad good, especially the snacks!"

Fordele: "Plane was comfortable (for a plane) and the staff were polite and efficient. The flight made up lots of time and the in flight snacks were very welcome."
Ulemper: "The flight was very delayed, and the communications from Swiss was lacking. In fact their app thought the flight had taken off and landed on time?!"
Fordele: "Selection of movies was good."
Ulemper: "The mushroom pasta they served was absolutely terrible."
Ulemper: "Very rough landing. They dropped plane 5 or 6 times minutes before landing almost puked my guts out"
Fordele: "The crew was very attentive and friendly"
Ulemper: "The legroom was good but the seats were very narrow causing larger people to overlap the armrests"
Ulemper: "The seats are too close together front to back. It's torture if you are six feet tall and the person in front of you put the seat in the back position for 8 hours."

Ulemper: "On the flight to Zurich the passenger behind me gave me a difficult time about reclining my seat back but keep in mind he had his reclined. Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."

Ulemper: "Breakfast was a strawberry yogurt, orange juice and a croissant. Sugar free options ie. Eggs, rye or whole grain bread are a few examples of sugar free breakfast items that could be provided."

Rude staff through the experience. Extremely warm cabin temperature during the flights with no seemingly capable of addressing this.

We had 1h delay. We waited in the place for the whole time.

Ulemper: "The seats in business class were not as soft as they could be but very impressed overall and good value for the cost of the business class ticket"
Ulemper: "I attempted to cancel this flight and arrange to use the same route within a year, but when Oct 3 came, nothing had been done. I called as I had before to Justfly and was then told that I had to use the ticket by the date I purchased it (3/26) . I should have just done nothing as when I cancelled the ticket, it cost me another $100l. I will not use Justfly again. I am out more than $1000."

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."
Ulemper: "Always 1.5 hour late. The airport management does not care about international flight delays!!!"
Fordele: "Long time n not in time Food is not enough quality n quantity for health"
Ulemper: "Must change catering n in time , Staff working in the airport is not pro enough"

Ulemper: "The crew was unkowledgeable about toddler aircraft seats. The flight was delayed by 1 hour, causing us to miss our connecting flight."
Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "I had a fever and requsted bottled water to keep with me and sip as I needed. The crew was unwilling to process my request and would only give a cup at a time!"
Fordele: "Everything you want in an overnight international flight. Enjoyed the food."
Fordele: "First leg (Mia to Instanbul) crew was excellent!"
Ulemper: "second leg (Istanbul to Johannesburg) crew were rude!!!"
Fordele: "The food, cabin crew behavior, entertainment systems were decent."
Ulemper: "1. Aweful legspace and overall space: I am 5'11'' and an average guy. It was like fitting myself into a cage. 2. Ground management is very bad. I felt that in both Boston and in Istanbul. They make people wait and the queue becomes long to adjust their delays. My flight from Istanbul to Dhaka was scheduled at 3:40 am. They started boarding passagers at around 3:10 am. Before that, they even bothered to show up at the boarding bridge, let alone informing people about their delay. The behavior of the groud crew was an embarrassment."

Fordele: "Great service in the airplane plus they offer some amenities like slippers, tooth paste and toothbrush, they offer you wet towels to clean and refresh yourself during he flight. Really good."
Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Poor hygiene. The bathrooms are very dirty and has nomjand soap to wash your hands . Male staff in board come across unpolite. ingelt inwelcomed by the male flight attendant port side at the back.?"
Fordele: "Good entertainment system with lots of options."
Ulemper: "The plane was uncomfortably warm throughout the (long!) flight, which made it difficult to get any rest."
Fordele: "We arrived safely and on time"
Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "For a long flight (8+ hours) legroom on this Airbus was quite cramped Again poor boarding announcements resulted in very chaotic boarding process"

Fordele: "The crew were amazing.. very helpful and accommodating! The food was also 5 stars, and the entertainment was great! Enjoyed every minute of it!"
Ulemper: "Boarding was not really done according to groups A, B, etc, but it was only a small holdup.. really nothing much at all :) Comfort was great, although a little more leg room might have been nice. But again, not a really big deal!"

Ulemper: "Difficult to communicate with cabin crew due to lack of English. Flight was delayed by 1 hour. General atmosphere on plane was chaotic I think due to the small plane and length of flight as large numbers of people needed to use toilets."

Fordele: "Great food, comfortable seats, Caring staff, Good TV quality and programs."

Fordele: "They should inform layover passengers about getting their visa for free hotel accommodations."

Ulemper: "The crew skipped our aisle whilst delivering the toiletry bags, some announcements were made purely in Turkish without regard to English passengers. The boarding gate from Istanbul was opened much later than the advertised times."
Fordele: "The free hotel provided by Turkish airline is very nice too."
