Fordele: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Ulemper: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."
Ulemper: "None of our 4 checked bags arrived with us. This was despite ample connection time (2+ hours) in Amsterdam."
Fordele: "Last year I flew Lufthansa which was my worst experience flying ever. I thought the new standard was so low I would never fly to Europe again. I had heard KLM was good but I felt this was as good as could be expected actually much better. The food was even good."

Even if they did not have a vegetarian option, they don't need to be rude!! Boarding was ridiculous. we were supposed to form a line and wait. Would have been a lot better if they boarded by seat numbers. Also they made me check in my fairly small and light carry on bag resulting in its contents arriving broken!"

Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."

Somehow, despite flying Aeroflot all the way from Sofia to St Pete, the tickets sold to us were sold via Bulgaria Air, which meant we had to collect suitcases and re-check them at Moscow, all while we were not checked-in for the second leg!! LastMinute.Com is hands down the WORST travel website in the history of travel websites, as the above was not disclosed at any time. NEVER again will I even entertain booking via them."

Ulemper: "I missed an earlier connecting flight and was placed on a later flight at a window seat with the most uncomfortable seating. I sat there for the entire flight with pain from how hard the seat felt. Also, the drinks and refreshment was severely lacking. The wait time between drinks and meals was too long. I found it odd that they didn’t serve drinks with food either"

Ulemper: "We missed THE connecting fligh. They provide us really low quality hotel not clean at all. Also it took us 5 hours to go to the hotel from the airport. They made us wait 5 hours. I felt like I’m an illegal immigrant. In the hotel there was no slipper no toothbrushes. They should’ve provided us a kit"

Fordele: "The check in was very friendly even in the face of some problems for the computer to process my green card , we got good seats with more leg room , we very much appreciated!"
Ulemper: "Our Luggage did not arrive in NY , we had only 1/2 hour to change flight in Moscow, we had to run to make the connection , and I was worried that our luggage wont make it, sadly I was right !"

Ulemper: "Asked them bot to sit us at the far end near the toilets and guess what.....last tier next to the toilets!! Broke my son’s bugaboo bee pushchair 2nd time due to the way they handle it as they through them instead of caring for them. Service in moscow is very poor."

Ulemper: "Checkin at SVO terminal D is total disaster. Understaffed counters, hours long lines, lack of instructions and assistance. On oversees flight 4 out of 6 lavatories were out of service. Cabin crew were in such hurry that they missed our row couple times. They served water only 4 times for 10 hours flight and refused to give a whole bottle for some bogus security concern."

Ulemper: "I was in the cue to board the plane and the Aeroflot employee just told me that bording is closed, then 7 other passengers came after me and no one was allowed to bored. They literally just didnt let us enter the plane saying that boarding is complete and they don’t care."
Fordele: "Comfort of seats. The seats were comfy and unless you’re 6’1” or more, there was an ok amount of legroom."
Ulemper: "No movies available, bathrooms were dirty and out of toilet paper. Food was really bad tasting. I had the gluten free meal which consisted of browning iceberg lettuce with one teensy piece of green pepper and olive oil - no vinegar! Literally a 2”x2” piece of overcooked rubbery chicken, literally a large marble sized ball of over cooked spinach, some tastless rice and a rice cake - plain. Ugh. I asked the check-in guy in Moscow if he could please confirm that we were at the right gate, and he barked at me “WAIT!!!” Like who talks to a customer in that tone? It was just unpleasant. While Aeroflot wasn’t horrible and would be tolerable in a pinch, I would try to avoid this ain-line if possible."

Ulemper: "Bad airplane SSJ-100 (new, but noisy). Boarding was terrible!!! They started boarding 15 minutes early and we were waiting in bus 20 minutes to go to airplane and were going to airplane 15 minutes yet!"

Ulemper: "Unless I was doing something wrong, long-haul economy seats barely recline. Combine that with quite limited legroom, and an overnight flight can turn into a questionable experience."

Ulemper: "Boarding was a disaster as my companion was selected for random search which held us up as there was no urgency to process us. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."
Ulemper: "There was no amenities pack given in Premium economy. The food was ok. It would have been nice to have been offered another bread roll. Seat comfort was fine, but I kept getting hit by the separating curtain as the flight attendants went back and forth from economy."
Ulemper: "They forced me to ceck my trolley because i had a suit with me!!! And the airplane wasn’t even full. Even worst they allowed some pieces of “hand luggage” that were double the maximum allowed size"
Ulemper: "This airline charges for everything, and after you pay once, they try to charge you again, and again, and again (four different people tried to charge me 4 different times for my two checked bags). And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

Ulemper: "The entertainment system was very old with minimum selection. My entertainment system actually stopped working. The seating area was very cramped. I called for service a couple of times from my seat, but nobody came."

Fordele: "The gate reps from CDG to MSP were professionals. The cabin crew on the Delta flight were exceptional! This was not my experience in Copenhagen with the Air France staff, they seemed to be self centered and rude."

The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand"

Ulemper: "Two hour delay meant we missed our connection. Then given a very late flight and had to haggle for ages to get earlier flight and told we should pay extra for it!"
Fordele: "Very efficient boarding. We actually departed earlier and then landed in Barcelona 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Overall a very smooth experience."

Ulemper: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"
Fordele: "The CDG airport is very bad in terms of finding your connections, the flight to CDG from LAX had a very old entertainment system and was hard to use."

Ulemper: "The food was awful and the option I wanted had run out. The entertainment was faulty and had to be reset several times. The comfort was below standard and needs to be improved."
Ulemper: "I didn't get to board, ended up spending $2,400.00 over and above the $980.00 that I spent booking the initial ticket. I was not informed when I booked the ticket that when you transit through 2 schengen countries, you need a transit document. I was informed about it at then airport. Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."

Ulemper: "I was treated like I am not supposed to ask for food and they had one choice of meal for me while they had 2 for the rest."
Fordele: "Friendly crew, good meal and entertainment"
Ulemper: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

There was no personal entertainment screens on the back of the seats, only the small community one mounted on the roof. The sound for this was terribly unclear. 8 hour boring flight."

Fordele: "Entertainment selection was decent, I was especially impressed by the very wide variety of music to listen to. The crew were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The plane was clean and presentable, especially the lavatories. The seats were comfortable and the blankets provided worked well too."
Ulemper: "Food was bland and the chicken dish was dry and difficult to chew. Movie selection on the entertainment system was mediocre, with limited variety of films in general and especially limited variety in languages other than English and Arabic. A problem which I encountered on board was a big gap between the ventilation panel at the base of the wall and the flooring, through which the dessert of my meal fell and which presented the risk of losing further items. I hope this is fixed promptly."

Ulemper: "Staff are rude in comparison to other airlines, hostess greeting us actually called my 2 year old naughty for touching the toilet door whilst boarding! Media is also limited and with constant interruptions, plus not available for take off or landing! Tray tables were dirty, I’ve honestly given up trying to eat the food on board these flights! Despite numerous tags and a note on my ticket the stroller is never able to be brought up to the aircraft door. I won’t be flying Egyptair again"

Ulemper: "It took over an hour to check-in. People were pushing in because it was not well marked and nobody directing the people. It was terrible. The plane has very old seats, and no entertainment screen on seats, still the old monitors hanging from the roof."
