One of the crew member passed me with out asking what to drink I waited until she comes back to tell her I didn't get a drink you just passed me she said ok what do you want . It took me by surprise her rudeness was un expected there was no apologies at all. This iwas my first time to fly with Turkish Airline. It is sad that just one member can influence the overall perception of the flight experience !!!!!"

Good planes overall, but horrible customer service. I will never fly Turkish again. I prefer to pay more and have decent customer service and no flights cancellations in the middle of my vacation."

Ulemper: "This was one of the worst days of my life, health-wise, so it could be that my observation of the passage of time was somewhat distorted, but Turkish did everything either slowly, or more slowly on this day. First, name two things on a flight line that are wheeled, movable objects. Did you answer bus and plane? Well done. So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I fell asleep and woke up twice before it was over."

All good. Boarding was on time and everything was well organized. The flight was on time so overall I had a good experience.

Great choices in entertainment. I was very uncomfortable in my middle seat. There were empty seats and I could actually have been able to lie down. No one offered to reseat me, and I was not aware until I stood up upon arrival...

My spouse and I weren’t allowed to check in online in advance for some reason so we had to go to the airport early to do it in person. At that point, there were no longer any seats left together so we had to sit apart. The plane didn’t have individual air vents for each seat so the whole flight was sweltering. Airline food is always gross but this particular sandwich will haunt me for the rest of my life: emmenthaler cheese on dry hunks of bread with like six slices of cucumber and a pile of shredded carrots…wtf. But the flihhr crew was kind and helpful.

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, and primarily due to the fault of the boarding staff in Frankfurt. I was flying as a tourist from Switzerland, but it was easy to notice the condescending manner in which the African passengers were treated. I noticed the same attitude at immigration services in Frankfurt, were the officers were openly teasing, laughing at and harassing an Eritrean man. Some of the comments passed were frankly disgusting..."

Ulemper: "Couldn't check in online and because I booked pretty late, didn't get the seat choice I wanted. I purchased the flight via the Lufthansa site, but then on check-in, I found out that the first segment was SAS, so neither the Lufthansa site nor the SAS site let me check in online."

Ulemper: "Delayed boarding for no apparent reason. The plane was sitting on the tarmac for at least 2 hours before scheduled boarding."
Fordele: "Very friendly people. Security guy helped me to get to the wifi at the airport. I could spend my waiting time very productive way sorting out my business emails:)"
Ulemper: "We were put on standby. We expected our names to be called for seat assignments but we didn’t expect we could just swipe our boarding pass and our seat assignment would show. It’s a nice feature but I didn’t like that it wasn’t clearly explained to us."

Ulemper: "There can be a better range of entertainment on the flight, and flying Lufthansa their isn't too much food variety"

Ulemper: "Horrible experience. Stranded for 3 hours inside stationary flight, 4 hours in a long queue. Very very poorly managed. I slept on a chair in the cold weather. Atleast make arrangements for bad situations, apparently I was booked on another flight but they made me stand in a 4 hour long queue to find that out. Kiosk outside showed I was put in no flight. One of my worst experiences and rest assured if I’m given a chance I will never choose Lufthansa again."

Fordele: "Lots of room on a 747 - Lufthansa will probably retire them all soon. They handled my special meal request online and loaded the meals on the plane."
Ulemper: "The crew didn’t bother to confirm who had requested the special meals, and they perhaps were confused by the size of the wide body rows, so they served my dinner to the passenger in the window seat (seat K) instead of me (seat H) By the time I realized what had happened, my row mate had eaten half the meal. The crew also rammed my knee with a beverage cart while I was dozing. Not the best showing ever..."
Ulemper: "Check in very confusing, switched gates on me but I didn’t get the text until later, after take off. No announcement over the PA system in the airport. If my son, who was picking me up, hadn’t been tracking my flight, I would have missed it."

Fordele: "The cabin staff was very friendly and attentive. The boarding process was efficient (the long time it took was owed to the large crowd entering the plane in a Boeing 787), the entertainment programme is not overwhelming, but adequate."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed by almost three hours at a most uninspiring airport. The information on the delay came rather late. Although I managed to reach my connecting flight, my luggage did not. (It was sent after, though, with the next machine and reached my late the same night in the hotel.)"
Ulemper: "- Boarding: was rainy and is quite complicated when you need to take the bus; All the other difficulties were more related to the weather. However, for a ~260 EUR flight, the lack of comfort and basic food were unexpected."
Fordele: "The Dreamliner is new and shiny, and the bulkhead seat I happened to get had a lot of leg room."
Ulemper: "The in-flight entertainment monitor was not working half the time, apparently because of some faulty wiring in the joint that connects the monitor to the seat. And guess what, when it does not work, the reading light and passenger assistance do not work either. Morale: only get bulkhead seats if you plan to sleep through most of the flight."
Ulemper: "We had for different flights with LOT airlines and all of them were delayed. No updates were given at the gate and some announcements were only in Polish. Landing in Warsaw we had to circle around for a while because the airport was closed due to air parade."
Ulemper: "Flight left 1.5 hours late. No update announced from boarding crew as to the reason for delayed boarding or status updates. Received seat assignment at gate with no attempt to give me my preference for aisle seat."

Fantastic flight

Fordele: "Flight was on time. Crew handled a dispute between two passengers effectivley and professionally."
Ulemper: "No good planning for cabin baggages, caused ~2 hour delay, sitting inside the craft."
Ulemper: "It’s stupid Airlines. He give me brooding pass and make security check everything at final he didn’t make me fly to London because they sey u need transit visa. Why not they inform early so I can get online visa. And airlines don’t help anything finally i buy new tkt by myself ....."

Ulemper: "i tried to cancel. as you can see i booked other tickets from IST to DXB but could not get a refund for these tickets"
Ulemper: "I paid £275 for my TICKET ,after 2 min I rang them for cancel my ticket they said refund only £177 Then I said ok change the ticket they said still need to pay penalty charge as well, i wasnt happy then they call me back he said we cancel your ticket and refunds £240 , I lost £35 in 10 min ."

Ulemper: "Uncomfortable seats. No free WATER! Weight limit is ridiculous for a international flight. I will never travel with Pegasus again! I will try my best to spread the word on this airline."

Ulemper: "As an international traveler, I'm not aware of international flight times and rules when traveling. Thus, before my flight on the day, I tried to check-in online which was not available. I then checked check in times cut offs and on the website it clearly says in black and white that check in closes 45mins prior to departure. I made it to the Pegasus check in desk 55mins prior to departure, but it was already closed. In a complete frenzy, I ran to the one and only Pegasus agent and she absolutely refused to help me, saying "everyone knows it's one hour before check in". Uhm, no, everyone doesn't;t know, which is why they go and check it out on the website. That caused me not only to miss a flight and lose €120, but I then had to buy another flight for €370!!!!!!!! I now have to fight my way to the top to dispute this case."

Ulemper: "The flight times and layovers, especially the 10 hours in Istanbul airport. Buying your food on the plane was way over priced for what you get, and the quality. There was not enough change in the variety posted currency of the menu."

Fordele: "You get what you pay for, nothing more and nothing less."
Ulemper: "Almost on every other airline you can check using the self-check-in computers at the airport; on Pegasus you can't, which caused unnecessary queues at the check-in desks (both there and back)."

Ulemper: "Beverage was not there not even soft drink or water Boarding was not okay it took us 10 minuets standing in airplane shuttle to Big long lan to reach boarding desk Expensive food to buy"

Fordele: "Not worse than any other low cost airline. planes are new and cabin personal was friendly."

Ulemper: "I've never seen so many young children on a plane. There must have been one child for every one adult. Worst of all, their parents didn't even attempt to make them behave themselves. And the crew just let the kids run up and down the aisles and climb on seats. What ever happened to "please remain seated with your seat belts fastened"? Additionally, when I checked in, I asked for a window seat, the agent nodded, and when I got on the plane I found I was stuck in a middle seat. It was the longest two hours of my life."

Ulemper: "The seats were very tight. The crew at the airport was terrible. The security staff didnt know english. The bis to the plane was crammed which was quite dangerous"

Ulemper: "My tent poles, which were attached to my bag were lost. I am hiking in Switzerland and have no tent now!!!"
Ulemper: "Boarding was delayed and there were no announcements about when we would be boarding. Also the ticket check at the gate to board the buses was not the most well-organized/efficient."
Fordele: "Comfortable seats and very clean."
Ulemper: "I was stopped at both airports for not having my ticket in the system although I checked-in in advance and paid extra for seating; it was very stressful and uncomfortable"
Fordele: "Was first to check-in and received exit-row seat with its extra leg-room."
Ulemper: "Exit row seats do not recline .. so could not lie-back on this overnight flight."
Fordele: "It didn't crash."
Ulemper: "Oh, boy. First, this flight was super late and they wouldn't admit it. I went to the gate at boarding time, and the staff rudely pushed me away, saying I misunderstood the gate number. I double checked, and no, that was indeed the right gate. This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."
