Shuttle to the Pepsi Center
We liked the hot breakfast buffet, the price, and the proximity to the zoo (reason for our visit). Didn't get to use the pool but the fact that there was one was a plus. Only 2 of 3 elevators were working and it was a very busy weekend.
The free breakfast was very good! The staff was exceptionally nice. The building seemed very old, but but you can tell they have done improvements. The location is in a really sketchy part of town.
Really a great deal if you don't mind the shabby rooms. Lower your expectations some. We had a great stay knowing that we didnt spend twice as much or more for a fancier room we barely stayed in for long anyways other than to sleep! Wouldve been cool if the room had a fridge or updated TV system to allow Netflix log in. Otherwise the room was fine for a no frills stay!
The staff was excellent as they were very attentive to our needs. We had driven for 20 hours straight and arrived at 6:30am. With check-in at 3pm, we doubted we could get an early check-in. But they did take care of us regardless. The decor is outdated and worn, making the room look less clean.
Enjoyed our stay, the place was clean ,the staff was polite, and the room was very nice and quiet. we found a fridge and a microwave out in the hall when we got settled in called down to the ft. desk about it and they told us to go ahead and use it if we wanted no charge. The restaurant had good food reasonably priced clean and not crowded
The shuttle to downtown was extremely helpful. The elevator was the slowest thing ever.
Pot smoke smell everywhere.
By far the best deal for our week long trip to Denver. This was a group of three friends enjoying Denver for a week. We've stayed in other hotels in and out of Denver. Quality Inn Central definitely had the best overall value. This hotel provides all of the basic amenities you need. The breakfast was your typical hotel continental breakfast. We upgraded to the deluxe room since we were staying for a week and still didn't break the budget. The hotel sits at a great location near I-25 and I-76. Nearly 15 minutes to get anywhere in downtown Denver. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to select locations in downtown, but we always utilized Uber and avoided Denver's traffic. Great choice for a hotel! Don't eat at the Palm Grill restaurant. Save yourself and go across the street to the Village Inn.
Location close to our venue, Breakfast and Betty and overall experience. Nothing was a problem.
staff was friendly and helpful the shuttle drivers are pleasant and helpful, were willing to find a place if it is in the 5 mile area/radius of the hotel, The Palm Grill serves a small selections of choices which being a diabetic left only salad and soup for meal I requested a fridge for meds, never received a fridge, had to throw away over 200 dollars worth of insulin, it was to cold to let in car as it would freeze. unless you have a non-smoking room, that item is not standard. shuttle went on the top of hour to stock show which when full of exhibiters did not allow for their needs to be there before time to show
I was extremely disappinted in the fact that my floor felt like it was hot boxed and I continued to have weed Oder come threw my room constantly. Not a place for a family with young kids
Close to downtown Room hadn't been cleaned. Was then given room different than my reservation. Super small bed (had reserved a king) then had maybe 15 TV channels on dinky screen.
Our room was smoke-free but it smelled strongly of cigarettes.
Had issues with accessing the original room multiple times. Once I finally got assigned a second room, it was very poorly cleaned (if at all). I also had the fortunate pleasure of finding someone's dirty sock during my one night (originally scheduled for two) stay.
Close to bus stop Only cleaned our room one time during the 5 nights we stayed, we had to go to the front desk twice to get more towels and toilet paper because they didn't replenish our rooms. Room overall seemed dirty, front desk staff didn't seem to care much about helping us.
Front desk person ( Manuel) was helpful in letting us out of our 2 night reservation without arguing. That was one saving grace - he understood our frustration and didn't make it more difficult than it should have been. Overall filthy hotel. Rooms smelled like smoke or chemical cleaners ( to mask the bad smell). Rooms claim to be two doubles ( therefore occupancy of 4) however the beds are more singles than doubles. We left and went to a Marriot and paid more just to get out of there.
The hotel is run down and very dirty and had a bad odor of smoke. The door to the room did not lock and the hair dryer did not work.
The room was very old and not updated and dirty. Shower was yellow and leaking. Sink had holes in it
It was nice It was being remodeled
The staff was very friendly and polite! They were remodeling while we stayed. Still full price. Messy. Noise all hours. No privacy.
I felt the Restuarant was very lacking. This was true each AM when it seemed no one was in charge that had training for the job. One coffee decanter that would run empty unnoticed by staff. The layout of breakfast and supplies very abstract and seemingly without thought. The courtesy breakfast tickets, while appreciated, seemed a cumbersome issue. My wife as with many other wives comes to breakfast a bit later than myself. This is where it gets cumbersome for what appears to be an untrained staff. The whole ticket thing seems unnecessary as I would seriously doubt that anyone not registered at the hotel would sneak in for a very mediocre breakfast. Overlooked dry egg mix is not a draw anymore than low quality sausage. As I have mentioned the resturant serving area is poorly laid out and very poorly maintained. Our room fridge did not work when we checked in and was never repaired or replaced during our stay although mentioned to staff each AM. Always the same response, I'll mention it to maintenance. Some one was not listening. The fridge remained plugged in but unworking with a very hot compressor. Lip service to customers is NOT enough. Listen and learn.
The breakfast was good and there seemed to be plenty of staff around It's a strange place to get to. The room was very dry (and I live in CO) as the heater needed to be run all night. Run a shower for a bit to moisturize the room. But it is a cheaper hotel in the area, I've stayed in most, and is as good as the more expensive places
Everything except The phone wasn't plugged into anything. So there was no way to call the front desk.
nothing grounds were trashed, building lacked upkeep, smelled terrible, no amenities in room, bathtub handle fell off, tv won't turn on, no fridge, outlet hanging out of wall, furniture you could not give away, need i say more?
The entire hotel was under construction. There was crap everywhere. My room didn't have AC - they had to move me 3 times. The pool was disgusting. Stay away.
I booked this hotel on Kayak and the hotel also charged me so I got double charged. The hotel was under construction and I walked through construction debris to get to my room.
Our room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the flat screen TV with a lot of channels. Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. We had plenty of room to move around and we had a sofa/bed too! The hotel has a nice pool. Also, has a big hot breakfast! Bathroom was small, so it was hard for my husband and I to be in there at the same time. Sheets had some stains on them, but they were small.
Price and location were convenient. Staff was nice. Rooms were not updated and had issues - i.e. Fan did not work. Pool was dirty, hallways/rooms smelled.
