Clean and convеnient hotel with good location.
Cleaness, good education of the staff, good room I think it is abusive to pay for internet and for breakfast. The hotel has too many noises. If you want to sleep early it is praticaly impossible, because ou hear everybody everywhere.
Although small, it was perfect for me and my family for visiting the Christmas Markets. Room was perfect for what we needed - just a place to crash overnight and be safe and warm. Wifi didn't work in the room; but did work in the reception.
sleep, drink, shower, breakfast. Nothing.
Location, price, clear, bathroom Cost for paying by creditcard! There isn't anybody on reception for about 20 minutes when we arrived.
The hotel is located very near the Centralstation and the room are at least very clean. The term "Hotel" is misleading.
Correct and clean room/bathroom, central location. Expensive and not really functionnal internet connection(didn't work in my room), staff wasn't always helpful or even nice...
it was very comfortable and pleasant before travelling i had sent them mails a couple of times but hey was no response to those mails from them only after calling them i got a response from them .
Location, price, staff.
Great breakfast (costs 4 euro). Good location (right between Central station and Konigsalee). Cheap, great for young travelers. Feels like student's dorm. Noisy occupants. On some floors there were problems with WiFi Internet connection (for 5 euro a day).
no free internet
Very clean room with a good breakfast and good location. Public areas are in need of update. Short stay only recommended. N/A
Hotel was very simple without any luxury stuff, however was clean, cosy and comfortable enough. Location was not that bad: 20 minutes to the "greatest bar counter". For people, who like night life, there is very nice club "Nacht Rezidenz" in the neighbourhood. 20 minutes walking to the citycenter however was tiresome after driving a car all day long. There are many parkings on Luisenshtrasse, but they are expensive ( we paid for the first night 13 Euro, for the second night 8 Euros).
Good breakfast and location. The room was big. I think the hotel is more 3 stars than 4 stars hotel
Sunny room, enough space. Quiet street. Breakfast very good. Staff very friendly. All in all very good value for money.
The room size is too small for a 4* Hotel.
Great size room and very nice decor. Location is good as well. Loud construction outside, took away from sleep time. Walls were a little thin, could easily hear people in other room.
The only thing is because the hotel is central. Its easy to go anywhere. The Housekeeping girl is very noisy and doing cleaning with rough ways and do not know how to keep her hands in lower noise. If it is long term guess just part of service would be good>
Free internet & minibar (coffee, coke etc.), silent, warm place to stay
vey small , no parking , expensive for the level. Its not a 4 star hotel by any standard
Love the hotel, nice location and a very beautiful staff!
We loved the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. They could not do enough for us. The hotel was very clean, very quaint and very condusive to the area. Would highly recommend it to anyone travelling in Dusseldorf and would definitely stay there again. We loved everything about it!
Second year running, convenient location for xmas market and excellent shops, very comfortable and good value
the water goes hot or cold. It is impossible to get warm water when using shower.
Mix between family run/ traditional hotel and renovated rooms with plasma TVs. Good atmosphere between the staff members, who look up maps for you, call taxis and ask how your day in town was. Simple but good breakfast with bread rolls, cereals and eggs.
room was clean and new (with LCD TV), bathroom was also clean and had been renovated (very white and bright), WLAN in your room for 2EUR per day, free internet at the lobby computer, beds were apparently new (very comfortable), breakfast buffet had the necessary (bread, cereal, milk, juice, 3 types of ham, cheese, etc), the night doorman (he was also the one serving breakfast) was sooo friendly! always with a smile and happy attitude, really knows what customer service means! walking to the UBahn Oststrasse was 10 minutes for me, similar distance to the Hauptbahnhof (main station) and Königsallee (shopping district). all hotel guests receive a ticket for public transportation (included in the room fee) a guy at the front desk during the afternoon wasn't very nice. when we asked about the tram from main station to the airport he replied with a "i don't know, you should go ask at the main station" and when we asked what time could we have our breakfast (since we had to leave to the airport at 6:30am) he replied with a "i don't know, ask the night doorman". he really should take some lessons regarding hospitality management, a complete contrast to the nice older night doorman. another thing i didn't like was the extremely soft squared pillows, standard type in german hotels, maybe i'm not used to them, but it did give me a sore neck
Very nice staff, good rooms and breakfast. No ac, so very warm room (during a heatwave).
Rooms were recently refurbished with walk in shower large LCD TV .Hotel has character ikn reception rooms and is walking distance to main sights
Fantastic location, fantastic staff, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!!!
Nice location, private parking, 24hr access, nice breakfast, clean rooms. The shower can be done different to prevent water spilling on the floor all the time. Current construction does not help. The curtain needs to be replaced by an isolated glass door.
Attended an exhibition at Messe Dusseldorf A guest laundry would be useful
