Fordele: Hotellet var beliggende tæt på offentlige transportmidler. Værelserne var rummelige, rene og meget komfortable. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme. Vores værelse med udsigt til en smuk gårdhave. Vi nød vores ophold umådeligt.
Ulemper: Vi har egentlig ikke noget at sige var en ulempe. Vi har kun positive ting at sige om vores ophold.

Ulemper: In the morning (7 or 7:30) I could clearly smell tobacco smoke in the entire room 104. People were smoking in front of the hotel entry door. Being at the first floor it would come directly inside the room which was annoying. Not the best way to get up/ start a new day. Two small beds together doesn't make a large bed. Nearest U station is a bit far from the hotel.

Ulemper: Even though a bit pricey on reflection. Was a pain the elevator wasn’t working and we were on 3rd floor. Bit of a journey to the centre town.

Fordele: i paid a very low price and i did not expect it would be an actually fancy hotel, its even cheaper than a hostel, i was going to try the breakfast but i had no time, but the hotel is a really good one though .
Ulemper: well, if the check in time could be earlier than 4pm it would be nicer. i arrived at two still can not check in. but probably it is a regular thing in germany i guess? but i do know some places with earlier check in time.

Fordele: This is a gem of an hotel. The staff are friendly, efficient and courteous. I asked for a few things from room service and they arrived within minutes. The room decor is quirky and so much more interesting than the usual hotel decor. Bed and bedding are superior to the extent that each person has their own doona. There is a radio in the bathroom.
Ulemper: The only improvement I could suggest is a steam iron to replace the very lightweight iron that was in our room.

Fordele: We got married on Inselstrasse, had our reception in the Old Town and decided to stay at Hyatt House at the end of our party. It was beautiful - large, airy, modern room with large windows overseeing quiet greenery at the back. The hotel welcomed us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers - many thanks for this special touch! It felt very special!

Fordele: The hotel was great! The room was very spacious and it felt like a small apartment because we had a small kitchenette and a washing machine in the bathroom. The view from the balcony was very nice and pleasing. The hotel would be great for a family and for couples. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well! and the overall architecture of the building was beautiful!

Fordele: Clean and large rooms. Big size TV, safe and a free bottle of water in the room. The bathroom had a great walking rain forrest shower and housekeeping is doing a great job by keeping it all all clean and working. The staff of this hotel, specially receptionist were very helpful and responded quickly to any type of question we had. The bar / lounge is not overcrowded but a good place to connect before going out. Their beers are good :) Breakfast is for kings ! Large selection of hot and cold food, fruit and good coffee machines. The location is outside of the very busy streets of downtown Düsseldorf, but within walking distance of 10-20 min. depending where you want to go. Central Station is just a 10 minute walk. A Taxi queue is right outside the hotel and you can rent electrical steps anywhere in the city.
Ulemper: It was a very busy breakfast on Sunday morning, so be prepared to queue a bit for your coffee.

Fordele: Breakfast is nice, but I wish to have more vegetables options next time, cause you have various meat options here, but lose the balance on the vegetables. You can at least provide some mixed vegetable salad. Other service is very nice. Location is also great, there is a super market downstairs, with nice restaurant inside. Not far from the Kingstrees nor the old town.

Ulemper: The TV channel selections are limited to German and local European channels ( which are dubbed) mostly with only BBC news and CNN Int.. for english speaking people.No Netflix connection. Most hotels provide several options; maybe this can be considered.

Fordele: Perfect location, right next to a beautiful park, in the middle of shopping, a few minutes walk from the river, Konigstrasse, and aldstadt. Room was perfect - small but very clean, had everything I needed. Free minibar items inside the small refrigerator. It was warm outside so that air conditioning was a bonus. The breakfast was good and included. Really nice place, I will stay here next time I am back in town.
Ulemper: They sprayed some kind of scent in the room prior to my arrival and it was a bit strong, but I left the windows open until it was bedtime and it went away.

Fordele: Firstly all the lovely staff. The location, the easy parking, lots to do and see. Great food and night life. The area is good with great transport links and has attractions including cruising on the river at a reasonable cost. Some rooms have a balcony which was great to relax on when back at the hotel

Fordele: I've stayed here many, many times. The location is so convenient and it's also a good place to meet people quietly, before or after flights. The teams in reception, housekeeping and the restaurants are all very helpful and professional.
Ulemper: The opening times of the restaurants are quite restrictive, and if they could be a little more "traveller friendly" that would be super. Everything else at the Maritim is absolutely perfect.

Fordele: Well priced in a convenient location for the train station which makes airport transfers and other travel easy. It is close enough for a walk to the Alstadt. There are good Japanese restaurants in the neighbourhood. Rooms are comfortable and clean, if a little basic.

Fordele: The staff at this hotel are fabulous, very warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make your time there enjoyable. A special mention to the morning breakfast team and Marco and the evening bar team who provide excellent service on a consistent basis and make you feel like hotel is your home away from home. Thank you also Stefan on the front desk who arranged a room to be ready as quick as possible as i checked in around 7am on a Sunday morning but he realized i had come all the way from NZ - what a legend. The facilities, location, rooms and decor of the hotel are really good but the staff are what make it exceptional.

Fordele: We liked everything about this hotel! Contemporary in its feel, very clean and stylish. Room very well appointed. Great shower! Nice touch to have the wash basin in the main room with plenty of surfaces to spread make-up etc. Lots of full length mirrors too. Barber on the ground floor - handy! Lounge area on 11th floor with great views. Staff in every area welcoming, courteous and fun. We will return.

Fordele: It’s unusual to find that the bedrooms are actually cooler than the glossy images suggest, but the rooms in this hotel were fantastic- such a clever concept to have a big walk in shower to the window side of the room and open it up to the room(there’s a sliding screen if you want to block out the light). The hotel has a really cool vibe about it without trying too hard and the 11th floor bar is a nice place to hang out. Overall, a great place to stay and less than 5 mins walk from the central train station

Fordele: The hotel has a really cool vibe and great decor. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and modern with quirky touches. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they gave us tips on where to go out and eat and were accommodating on every level. I accidentally left my work phone in my room after checking out and they swiftly retrieved it and posted it to me. All round great experience, will definitely be staying again if I come back to Dusseldorf!

Fordele: I am a brand new Hyatt Club member and from the get go, I was instantly impressed with the décor and architecture of this facility. I usually like to stay at Hyatt's "Grand" and "Park" collections but this Hyatt Regency blows some of the Grand Hyatt's I have stayed at. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the doorman and hotel staff welcoming me to their property insuring my check in experience was smooth. The room was very clean upon arrival and they even had my name posted on the TV screen; how cool! the automatic blind opener and closer had to be one of the most unique features in the room. I received a treatment at the spa which was awesome, the ladies behind the counter were great, very professional and were good at what they do, it was truly a relaxing experience. Take a chance to indulge in the breakfast buffet the hotel offers ranging from a wide variety of fruits, drinks and omelets cooked to one's liking.
Ulemper: My only gripe had to be the room service attendant did not carry cash on him while delivering the food to my room. I did not one the breakfast billed to my room and the attendant implied that me paying cash for room service was not possible. Not a big complaint but this could easily be fixed.

Fordele: We stayed at the hotel for one night, and were entirely satisfied. The room is not big but clean. The bath on balcony was a real surprise. After a busy day it is very pleasant to take a bath on the fresh air. The staff is young and very friendly. Marcel who works at the front desk made our stay at the hotel and in Düsseldorf nice and interesting with his smile and some useful advise. Thank you Marcel!

Toiletpapir var også en mangel vare, der var en rulle til 2 personer til 3 nætter. Dette måtte vi også kontakte personalet for at få udleveret. Pinligt !! Welness = Et par kolde og slukket saunaer og et slukket dampbad. ! :-( Grundet messe var prisen over dobbelt op og uden morgenmad, så har tingene altså bare at fungere.

Ulemper: The house keeping service was very bad, surprisingly a group of 5-6 workers came at once to clean within 3 minutes. They don’t even clean the room properly !!! Also on a rainy day we didn’t leave the room in the morning so they came asking us to leave the room or else they will clean it the next day. This was so ridiculous. I didn’t like even the fact no connecting rooms and also the size was very small.

Fordele: Fint hotel med fin beliggenhed i gå afstand fra centrum. Morgenmaden var fin, ikke noget vildt. God automatisk espresso maskine, man selv kunne lave kaffe på, med valg af latte, espresso, varm mælk, varm kakao etc. Der er et lille fitnessrum med et par cardio maskiner, en enkelt multivægtmaskine med kabler, lidt små håndvægte, lette (Max 6kg måske) kettlebells I plastik og en stor bold samt et par måtter.

Ulemper: The toilet and shower configuration in the room isn't private enough and is quite impractical. The shower and toilet are fully visible from the bed, with only some smoked glass to block the view - once the light is on you can see fully into the shower and toilet! Not exactly private. Some couples may be happy to watch each other use the toilet, but we aren't! The lights in the shower and toilet section are motion-activated and come on as soon as you go anywhere near them. If you turn over or move your feet too much in the night, the light comes on in the shower room!

Fordele: Comfortable hotel, a little funky and with a peculiar decor, excellently located in the Old Town. Very good spanish restaurant (Los Chicos) just across the street. The area is very lively, particularly at night.

Fordele: Liked it all apart from above.
Ulemper: The bed was fine, it was the way the duvet was done, it was a wrestling match to get into it, what happened to good old fashioned sheets. Pillows were a joke, I used two plus a cushion from the settee to get a bit of firmness. Apart from that it was a great hotel.

Ulemper: We tried to call the reception on the check out day for around 10 minutes but no one answered.

Fordele: This hotel is fantastic. We have stayed here before and would do so again. The building is magnificent. The rooms generously proportioned and very comfortable. Everything is of the highest standard.

Ulemper: Prisen for morgenmaden er urimelig høj. Bestilte en omelet med lidt ost, løg og grønt. Det var en meget skuffende oplevelse. For det første var den voldsom stor, og den var ikke stegt gylden. Lignede nærmere en stor klat røræg. Indholdet var gulerødder i små tern og sukkerærter, der ikke var skåret i stykker. Af et hotel i den bedre klasse og med den pris for morgenmaden, burde man kunne lave en bedre omelet.

- When I asked help in booking a restaurant I was told that I can call them myself because they should speak English.

Ulemper: room far too warm, cleaning only bed done , nothing else make neat. The phone was broken, Aircon not good, fitness dark, no tv on , airco blowing warm air!? No employees at all to assist. Not great.

Fordele: Comfortable bed and good size room. Large tv and extensuve choice of channels with seceral english speaking options. Good bar and seating area. Friendly experienced barman. Excellent choice at buffet breakfast with food regularly replenished . Friendly staff.
Ulemper: We had a problem with the cleaning of our roo.. tea and coffee facilites were not restocked nor the bar. Used cups not cleaned. Hotel were advised and apologies given.

Ulemper: This hotel appears to be very geared to conferences and there were company discos(!) going on in the bar both nights. People were subsequently noisy going back to their rooms late.
