Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Provided extra pillows or anything else we needed. Very helpful. Elevator too small (could not fit wheelchair) . in canada we use bed sheets. The hotel had covers for the mattress, pillows and the duvet, but no bed sheets. I understand that is the norm there.
The hotel provides a second home for business guests
Staff very friendly and customer orientated; Invoice was ready when I came down, Taxi wa ready to go as expected *** means not mandatorily very quiet room
Very efficient and hospitable.Good rooms and bathrooms, well thought through and everything is on the right place. Good location.
The personell is wonderful. It has been great to stay there.
very nice hotel, good staff, very clean, location is super and quite, free internet, free parking. i like it, i will be back soon
Very convenient for trams into the heart of the city, breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were very helpful.. A bit cold in the rooms, but the temperature outside was well below zero!!
I loved the hotel. First excellent point is its location in the most safe and i believe, the most beautiful area of Dusseldorf. Secondly I found my room very personal and tastefully decorated and staff was extremely nice and helpful and spoke good English. Rarely I had a hotel with free parking and free internet lately. Breakfast was great and staff member prepared a take-away for me. Very good value for money! I highly recommend the place to business women travelling alone as well as to leisure travelers.
this family run hotel was excellent, the staff were really helpful and freindly. when we discovered a leaking pipe in the bathroom our room was changed, we had breakfast and went out for the day when we came back the our lugage had been taken to the new room we didnt need to do a thing, excellent service, well done hotel arosa.
personal nature of staff, small well run private hotel
Very nice staff.
lovely hotel, much nicer inside than outside.lovely area near city, lots of lovely coffee shops and good places to eat.very good hotel. Breakfast too dear for us at 13 e each much cheaper in the area.
Nice spacious rooms, the welcome, easy access to transport network. Only one small thing - sleeping pillow was not comfortable
Jugendstill building + ancient floor tiles bed pillows
See friends that live in oberkassel, also Christmas shopping in oberkassel and ten minutes away in Dusseldorf on the tram. The tram was just outside of the hotel for Dusseldorf city shopping,Oberkassel has some great restaurant . no
It is comfortable, clean and neat and close to all stafs we needed. The only thing we didn't like was that we were on the 3th floor with disable child and the hotel does not have an elevator.
Room large clean individual and tastefully decorated and quiet. Outside appearance looks a bit tired.
Friendliness and efficiency of staff. Lack of extra blankets in the room.
Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi reception in the room was excellent. The bed was a good size and pretty comfortable. Only one huge square German pillow was provided, but another appeared when I asked in reception. Parking in the area is ridiculously difficult! The way everyone parks on the pavements would have them all towed away in England... It's quite a climb to the 2nd floor, without a lift (high ceilings mean it's more like climbing to the 4th floor!). Room much too hot, and with the radiator turned off and the windows open it was just cool enough by bedtime, but the outside noise (trams starting and stopping at the tram stop 30m away, seemingly every two minutes) meant I had to close the windows to sleep, and that made it too warm again. With only a single duvet provided I was unable to sleep under just a sheet, as I would have liked. The WiFi facility has an annoying tarrif - 30 or 90 minutes, or 24 hours, with the time running from log-in and no way to log out. I would have liked to buy say 90 mins, log out when I left the room and still have my unused minutes available on my return. Having said that the price was reasonable, but having to trek down the 4 flights of stairs to get a new ticket meant that I didn't bother when the time I'd paid for ran out.
the interior, the atmosphere and the breakfast table
