Location, service, hotel amenities
The view from the room The Roach that was crawling around the room. Took forever for housekeeping to respond to compliant I had to call the Loews 1-800 number to get service after calling front desk
Great staff and nice property Be aware any online prices don't include the $33+ "resort fee" just like the restaurants in the area include tip...the ask for additional tip. Very nice place but I hate not knowing the costs up front.
Hotel facilities were nice and it was right near the beach. Desk staff was a little condescending and not very friendly.
The location is great especially because no buildings across the street, just beach access.
The pool was great and the beach was really close to the hotel and the food was excellent but expensive overal rating good Unexpected bill when checking out not fare !!! They said free wifi but I pay to used it at the end
i loved the location it was in the heart of south beach, also loved the pool area and how lively the hotel was. i didnt care for how pricey everything was
the room was fairly clean and the cleaning crew was helpful. The front desk staff was rude and gave us attitude when we complained. When my husband called at 1am in the morning to say the music is so loud that our floors are vibrating, all the receptionist offered was ear plugs... Seriously. The pictures online are really updated because the lobby and the pool area were really old and dirty. The roof deck was not even open, the only place to hangout was pretty much the restaurant which was super expensive. Definitely not staying here EVER AGAIN.
Location is central to everything in South Beach. The staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to make sure guest have an enjoyable stay. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff did a great job keeping the room clean even sweeping the sand from the beach off the floor. The walls are paper thin and you can hear guest in other rooms all around. Guests in the halls can get noisy and those sounds come through pretty clearly.

God beliggenhed og et veludstyret værelse. Dog skal der regnes med udgifter til parkering.
Når La Flora bliver færdigrenoveret vil det få status som en virkelig godt Boutiquehotel i Art Deco stil. Kan varmt anbefales.
Excellent hotel location and comfortable room.
-Courteous staff -Room was very small -Shower had half a door and water got everywhere -Breakfast was awful (orange DRINK, bad bagels, fruit that had seen better days) -Loud (someone blasting music at 5:30 a.m. inside the hotel) -View of a parking garage
Staff at check in didn't explain things about any features, what was included, or about charges to card
Location was good as it's close to everything South Beach has to offer but that's about it. The hotel rooms are extremely small and cramped and they tried too hard to make it look trendy and there is no full wall or glass between the room and the bathroom so not only can you see the person in the bathroom using the toilet but you can also hear every air biscuit they let out, every wipe and smell it. I mean cmon, first you have tiny rooms that I would expect in a 3 star hotel in NYC but how can you put people in those tiny rooms and leave a completely open bathroom with no walls or privacy... smh. The service was also rough, I think the girl who checked us in said her computer crashed 4 times and we had to spend about 25 minutes checking in which should have taken about 5 minutes. The checking stations had older laptops, they got this whole hotel completely wrong and I would never go back.
The front desk staff was very friendly. The location couldn't have been better. The room was fun and well decorated. The amenities were awesome - free water, happy hour drinks, towels to rent, and 20% off restaurant food. The housekeeping service seemed to get to our room pretty late each day and the service at the restaurant wasn't the best.
Excellent location. If you want to be in the middle of the action this is a great location Rooms could use some updating. Most of the street noise was filtered out but there was more guest noise than I would have expected. Décor is definitely eclectic. They had incense in the hallways which was very strong - gave us both headaches.
We loved the location, the view from the pool area - sunsets were amazing. Loved the unusual, different decor of the hotel; staff was very friendly. Check in was a big disorganized but still ok. Biggest complaint was the high price of the room that included basically just the room. Additional $40/night for parking; additional 'resort fee' which we have yet to figure out what that covered as the only 'resort feature' was the pool and most hotels include that in their overall room fee. We had a king suite and it had a full kitchen; however, you had to RENT dishes and utensils and even dish towels. That is unheard of in my opinion. Any hotel I have ever stayed in that provided a kitchen also provided basic plates/utensils/dish towels. LOVELY hotel but overpriced for sure.
Room was very large - that is very hard to come by in Miami Beach! Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. No Staff by the pool had to run around to find towels. Called 3 times to get sheets changed, the final time I called they said the cleaning people had left ... so that was annoying.
