We were placed in the tower which mostly was dedicated to business men, besides that our floor was full of young people who came to that place just to have fun for a few days. They were disrespectfully loud all day long. The rooms are tiny, I was hoping to have a jacuzzi tab but it was only a shower cab. The walk to the swimming pool was through two towers and people who always were dresses for different conferences. Prices for food are really expensive and it didn't worth spending on it. I would not recommend this hotel for family oriented people, it is mostly for party people and businessmen. See above
Pool and spa nicely designed Got there and found there were nerds and lipstick on the carpet as well as a big wet mark. I called front desk to see if the room had been cleaned and they said they didn't known but they could connect me to house keeping to see if I could get someone to come clean it. I said "can't you do that" she just said would u like me to give you house keeping number or not. Then on Kayak it soecifically says on some options "no breakfast w this deal" so I picked the higher price option bc it did not say that. I get to hotel and they tell me Breakfast is not included. Then I try to go to spa and they charge me more money even after I showed them My Kayak reservstion says spa included. Later that night I come back to the room to find it was never cleaned. I wouldn't even have complained about any of this had I not paid over $400 for the one night I stayed here.

The property is amazing! The pools are great - got a little crowded on the long weekend - but very enjoyable. We had an oceanfront room and the views were breathtaking. The beach access was really good and you got free beach chairs. Its a little away from south beach and all the shops and restaurants - but we knew that going in. Room service was not up to par - they routinely forgot to replenish our coffee/ sugar. The food was just OK - and the price for food and drinks was exorbitant. Valet only parking and it was $45 per day!!
The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable The staff is unfriendly and rude. They constantly remind you of what you "can" or "cannot" do as if you are in an airport. They have an extremely poor customer service as a whole. I travel to Miami quite often and there are plenty of other 5-star hotels on Miami Beach that in my opinion have better customer service and are not filled with juvenile delinquent guests.
Stayed in the Chateau tower which was better than Versailles. It's a bit north of South Beach but not too bad.

Poolen virker ikke ren. Hotellet ligger i et kedeligt område uden restauranter og butikker i gå afstand.

that they "upgraded" me to a room for my inconvenience. The upgraded room was a so shitty and out dated the bathroom with black and white tiles looked like a black and white checker board ,, the room looked haunted ,,, the toilet was running all night long ,,, you couldn't flush the toilet ,, and it was just not worth the money!!!!

Nothing!!! Ashley at check in was ridiculously horrible!!! Manger came out he was horrible & no help!!! I was given t wrong info abt check not my fault but I'm t one they looking at crazy!!! Room was filthy hair every were left over definitely not mines!!!!/ Mildew in t bathroom.... Chipped paint, top sheet stinked, rooms old!!! I can complain all day abt that place especially t rude staff!!! Please don't waste your money on this hotel!!!! I read how rude t staff was but I always give people a chance boy was I wrong on this one!!!!!! Don't waste ur money!!
My room wasn't ready they put me in a smaller room with a single king size bed, I was traveling with my wife and two kids. the next next day I had to check out spend the entire day outside until 4pm then they didn't bring me my bags until six pm. When I asked to speak and complain to the manager. He offered an insignificant resolution that still left us completely unsatisfied.
I appreciated the staff upfront. The breakfast was great! The view was awesome. Due to me booking the room via a 3rd party website, I had to wait for a extended period of time to get my room. The front desk were doing everything they could to help me. In the room it was old. The TV didn't work and there were no towels in the room. So I had to go down stairs twice. The towels were old. After that it was ok. I would stay again. The old room is no fault of the staff.
View, No working shower, had to pay $45.00 to park my veichle the hotel! I mean are you kidding me, that's like going out to eat, and the paying the restraint to use their bathroom! Then I get up at 6am to get ready for my 8 am meeting, and the shower does not work!!! Unreal, sink was stopped up, bell hop watched me struggle down the stairs with my luggage. Terrible staff and service, if I wanted no service I would have stayed in a day's inn!!
The staff was very friendly for the most part and the location was in close proximity to Eden Rock where I attended a conference but couldn't stomach the extra 150 per night. The decor is so dated. The carpet, drapes, doors, fixtures, etc were in desperate need of updating. its relatively clean but so warn out. The room had an odd L shaped layout with no real purpose for extra space. An old tube TV, like 27 inches in an delapidated armoire that was literally 25 feet from the foot of my bed. needed binoculars.
The convenience to the beach. Staff friendlyness and helpfulness. The price was very reasonable, the hotel structure and arts are beautiful. The hotel needs a renovation ASAP, the pool was extremely too small for the amount of people staying at the resort, they need to build more pools and perhaps a few hot tubs. The water front restaurant and bars needs renovation, cleanliness and more variety on drinks and food.

It was new The hotel hosted an event at the pool all day Saturday which meant it was closed to hotel guests. Relaxing and drinking poolside was not an option but one we had counted on and paid for. Management should have mentioned the event when our reservations were booked, alerted us at check-in or made an appropriate accommodation. We expected better.

My stay at Thompson was very satisfactory. Everybody smiled and greeted us everywhere without making us uncomfortable or being too friendly. It was a quiet and relaxing stay that I very much anticipated, and I was glad that I chose Thompson for my first visit to Miami Beach! Some items in the fridge were gone, which I happened to find out while using it to store some food, but it was immediately taken care of as soon as we called the front desk to notify it. All in all, great experience!

The room was nice and clean. The people were friendly. The pools were nice. The beach was great. Room: We had requested an ocean view room with a patio. We were not given any options. The room# was 534. It was on the side of the building facing west so our main view was the hotel rooms on the other side. There was just a sliver of ocean view. If I were to go again I would insist on a room facing East and much higher up. Noise: Music from the restaurant was loud and started at 10:00 p.m. and continued until 4:30 in the morning. Extra Charges: There was a $150 charge extra per night which will be allegedly refunded. the parking was $40 per night. The taxes are a killer.So for two nights at a quoted rate of $260 per night, instead of being $520 turned out to be $729.
Pool and beach are the best part of this hotel. Rooms facing Collins are loud. Traffic noise is awful.
We've stayed at several hotels and this one delivered unparalleled service. Simply, top notch. Our room was incredibly clean and housekeeping was very attentive. The pool had to have been the cleanest we've ever swam in - hands down. The front desk staff were very pleasant, polished and professional. The valet gentlemen were personable and efficient. We were so impressed with the manager and how his employees treated us as their guest. This is an all around great hotel. The bed was too firm for our liking.

The room's view of the ocean! Wow! The room's layout - bed, space, yuge bathroom, closets, room safe, fridge... perfect. The parking valet, bell staff and counter staff were on their game and made our entrance and getaway as easy as it can be. We will be back! Thanks Eden Roc.
Renovations were taking place during my stay. It was extremely loud. Difficult to enjoy my room or time at the pool.

Overall very good experience. Excellent location and service. Rooms are clean. Spa was lovely. Upper pool is under construction and spa pool in bad need of renovation. The beach facing bar/ restuarant will also be a huge amenity when open (in the spring?) but I missed having a second food option onsite and ended up going next door.
Right next to Fountainbleu. On the beach. Solid amenities. Nice bar scene at night. A little up from southbeach. Wish it was closer but you cant complain. Long walk to convenient stores
The valet and restaurants service was ok. It was dated. The sheets in the bed were torn up. The phone was dirty. The fridge was broken (found out about that after 200 in good spoiled ). There was some woman that I could only say was a pimp yelling and cursing on her cell phone. When we asked if she could be removed they told us that she brings them a lot of business and is there all of the time. The elevator was old and their food was disgusting. I would never even walk through that place again even after they renovate
Pool was awesome, a few seconds to the beach. Very nice looking lobby, super comfy beds. Construction everywhere. I was not expecting it and would have chosen somewhere else had I known. Did not make for a relaxing day laying out by the pool with the constant pounding of a jack hammer in the background. Drinks and food were super overpriced for the size and amount of alcohol. Everything included 18-20% gratuity which will catch you off guard.
Staff was very friendly, courteous and accomodating, food and drinks were delicious. The beds were so comfortable that I did not want to get up. The convenient access to the beach was great, as well as the beach chair amenity, twas welcomed! Due to the inconveniences my sister, cousins and I were given complimentary tickets for drinks and breakfast. Some staff were not truthful when faced with conflicting situations, which led to a lot of unwanted and unnessary aggravation, and wasted time. A lot of renovation was, and still is taking place, which also added to 2 of 4 elevators being unaccessible. Thus waiting for the elevator was a task. And getting on the elevator was another task, then getting to your room or the lobby was another task in itself. Had I known about the renovation that I was not told about, I would have booked another hotel. The room was not a replica of the luxurious room that was pictured. The refrigerator was not working, thank God I did not have my kids with me.
The only issue was all the construction we were NOT warned about!!
The hotel was very clean, most staff members are very polite and friendly. The facilities provides adult pool separate to the regular pool for those trying to have an adult only trip. I had a few dislikes and not sure about returning. Staff tried their best to accommodate us for our concerns. My biggest dislike was the construction, all pools close at 8pm, and approach taking by some staff members to the facilities selective concerns with my family members.

Eden Roc's resort is nice. The private beach and pools are the best part of the hotel. Cabana restaurant was also good - but, they don't serve brunch and stop serving breakfast at 11am (a little early if you're on vacation). The food is a bit over priced as well. It's a good place to bring your family. DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WAIT UNTIL THEYVE FINISHED RENOVATING. The majority of the hotel is under construction. The entire lobby is closed off with white curtains due to the construction, leaving only the elevators and front desk assessable. The set-up makes the hotel dark and depressing. The decor is outdated. The staff at the front desk was not friendly at all. Most of all, the rooms in the main tower are NOT what you will expect them in a resort. We stayed in a deluxe king room and it was tiny! The view was terrible! If you're going to stay here you have to stay in the ocean view tower and don't be afraid to pay for the best rooms available: only then will your stay be worth your buck.

I like it when I received my car after 50 minutes so that I could get to my meeting. I liked it when I left the unapologetic staff who just shrugged when I wonder why my car hadn't arrived after I had properly followed their recommendation that I call 25 minutes early to get my car...it took 50. I liked it when I left the counter at check out after explaining that my linen STUNK of BLEACH . I COULD BARELY SLEEP THE STENCH OF BLEACH ON ALL OF THE LINEN WAS SO STRONG. I FOLLOWED THE RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE OF CALLING 25 MINUTES EARLY TO GET MY CAR AT CHECK OUT. IT TOOK 50 TO ARRIVE AND I ALMOST MISSED MY MEETING. THE ROOM WAS SMALL, OVER PRICED NO VANITY NOT EVEN A LUGGAGE RACK AND THOSE IRRITATING WIRE HANGGERS YOU CAN REMOVE WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO HANG CLOTHES, IN THIS CASE WHILE WEDGED IN THE CORNER OF THIS TINY $500 ROOM. THE LOCATION WAS PROPOSED AS NORMALLY COSTING $1000 PER NIGHT. I ONLY CHOSE IT BECAUSE OF PROXIMITY TO A MEETING. THE LOBBY WAS EQYAL TO A POOR QUALITY HIGHWAY MOTEL.
My wife and I were able to celebrate our anniversary in warm sunny Miami. I booked the hotel on Kayak.com due to the good reviews and value. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean and decorated so well. The accommodations were outstanding. The Tavern restaurant was amazing, we ate there twice. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I'd reccomend this place to anyone wanting a great experience with close proximity to the beach. The thermostat didn't seem to work. We finally figured out that we had to continuously turn on the fan to cool the room because it was set to 80. maybe it's a Miami thing to have warm rooms but we're from Ohio where we keep our summer thermostat around 65.

A friend and I came to Hotel Croydon for an extended girls weekend and to run the Miami Half Marathon. It was such a great experience! The staff is friendly, the rooms are gorgeous, and the beach access is so convenient. We booked through Kayak which saved us some money - it was such a great value. I highly recommend this hotel for couples, friends, and families. One thing to take note of... the hotel shuttle came to the airport to pick us up on the hour. This is an automatic thing - they come every hour on the hour. However, when you're using the shuttle to come back to airport you MUST schedule first with the front desk. We found out the hard way that it wasn't an automatic pick up and had to jump in a cab very quickly.
Older hotel has been nicely renovated. Staff inattentive, service poor. Called for the car from valet, requesting to be notified when it was available. After waiting nearly an hour, went to front desk and discovered the car had been waiting for 20 minutes. Specifically asked at check-in if resort charge would be added to bill, and was told no, it was included in pre-paid reservation. In spite of this assurance, chage was added at check out. Front desk can not provide itemized charges on folio at check out, only give a total charge. Food in restaurant was OK, but service poor. Waited 10 minutes for coffee on Saturday morning, and were told our server was "in the bathroom". WAY more information than I needed. Used glasses in room were not replaced during our stay. Ovewrall, VERY dissapointing.

Ok hotel, rimelig tæt på stranden, strand/poolhåndklæder i receptionen, lille ok poolområde. Ærgelig moregenmad - "danish" (amerikanske små wienerbrød), kaffe og appelsinjuice. Tilpas afstand på gå-ben til centrum med butikker, restauranter og Ocean drive. Skal ikke være længere - offentlig transport er dårligt. Tilføj fx toastbrød/bagels samt cream cheese/smør til morgenbordet, færdigkøbte "danish" er rene sukkerbomber.
ok Hotel, måske lidt for langt fra South beach området, hvor det hele sker.. Ca. 15 min. gang.. Værelserne lever ikke op til den lovede standard, og morgenmaden er...., ja, har ikke noget med morgenmad at gøre. Renovering af værelser i stueetagen, forbedring af toiletter, udskift de gamle airconditions-anlæg, de larmer frygteligt meget. Og så ordenlig morgenmad.

Beautiful place Expensive parking, if you staying in the hotel the parking shouldn't be so expensive
For a hotel right on Miami Beach, the Riu was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom didn't really have a door, just a frosted glass window that didn't totally close. Even though it was just me and my wife, the lack of privacy was weird. The room was definitely a little grungy, and smelled musty.
Good Location and Beach access. The hotel is a bit older and there is too much construction going on in the building next to and across the street.
Euro style, pleasing to the eye. Room was comfortable and we had everything we needed (except for one day when they failed to leave us bath towels). Food availability is a little lacking. We went up to the pool on the top level where we heard we might get lunch. Person shows up once in a while to take your order. Salads and sandwiches. Took a while for it to arrive. Breakfast buffet for $19 was fine. No restaurant in this hotel so you have to cast about the neighborhood for dinner. The bartender at the AC recommended an Italian place a block away that was very good: Cantina 27. And there are restaurants in the Miami Beach Edition hotel across the street. Can't speak to their quality/value. We did not use the TV so can't say anything about that.

Nice location to Miami beach, awesome roof top infinity pool but apparently anyone off the street can use it. Room floor was filthy, lots of dust balls around the edges and corners in the bathroom. Walk in Shower with no door has barely enough glass to keep water from splashing out to the rest of the bathroom floor. You get 2 complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge, however the bottle cap seals were already broken, leading me to believe that they were refilled used bottles!

Naerhed till Miami og strand. Hotel kan anvendes hvis man er I Miami for at opleve byen og ikke sidde paa hotellet. Personalet var meget lidt interesseret I at give en god service. Specielt bespisning om morgenen var en daarlig oplevelse.

Our rooms were not available when we arrived. They had been sold. It was late at night. We waited over a half an hour before we were even acknowledged. We had to insist on rebooking us to an equivalent hotel. The process was a disaster and caused us to stay up until almost 2:30 AM. We had to negotiate with the new hotel at check out, to avoid additional charges. Hilton finally covered the expense.
Brand new hotel. Beautiful views from the balcony. Great beach. Valet damaged my brand new camaro. Management was indifferent. They didn't believe that it was the valet because I had driven away after checkout.(valet had the door opened as I approached the car after checking out and they closed it when I got in) About five mins later I pulled over to get something out of my trunk and saw that the driver side door had been badly scratched. I immediately returned to the hotel and filled out paperwork to file a claim. Management was supposed to contact me after reviewing the camaras...and I've heard nothing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...sorry but I would expect a hotel like this to treat their patrons better.
I absolutely loved the beach being right behind the hotel. It was wonderful to just relax on the beach. The staff was amazing, especially Oscar, he was so wonderful! The staff was great and very accommodating It was a bit pricy for the valet (38$) and the resort fee (20$) I didn't like how expensive it was for a drink. Like seriously 6$ for a soda?!?
Great location, we had direct access to the beach. The staff was excellent, specifically Ricky he was a great help. Overall great hotel I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The hotel looked like it had recently been renovated and everything was fresh and modern. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable and the bath towels were soft and nice and large. It was very nice being right on the beach. Oscar and Lesmar at the beach were very friendly & attentive. I had a long wait to check in, only 1 person doing check-in. The resort fee of $20 per day didn't include umbrella at the beach; and the fee is even added on for check out day when you have to be out by noon. Drinks were so expensive and not even very good. Also expensive valet per day charge.
Really chic rooms, almost like a W. Helpful front desk staff. Great restaurant. Generally cool and stylish design (unlike most other Hilton). Outside the front desk and the beach staff, service is a total mess. We couldn't get soap in our bathroom after calling twice, staff in restaurant forgets orders and is not attentive.
Liked the beach, beach chairs. Having to pay a resort fee on top of expensive room rates. Having to pay $19.00 for an umbrella. Did not clean one of the rooms one day. Asked for extra towels, did not get them. Drinks were expensive & could not taste the alcohol. Buffet breakfast expensive $25.00
We loved that Soho Beach House had everything we wanted. The best food in Miami is there. We left only once for a meal in 4 days and we never do that. The staff is attentive without being snobby. The beach is more narrow where the hotel is located. It was not a huge deal because we enjoyed the pool(s) more.
Vores værelse var meget simpelt og sparsomt indrettet, så det var ok, men aircon anlægget larmede mere end en motorvej så det kunne ikke være tændt og så lå værelset ud mod et eller andet der gjorde at der var utrolig meget støj. Om natten var det som om at der var en lastbil i tomgang udenfor vores værelse, så fik ikke meget søvn udlej værelser hvor der er ro i det mindste om natten og få så gjort poolen ren og opvarmet:-)
The staff at front desk n bartender victor Housekeeping is horrible they don't clean your room they just straighten it up. I had to tell one of the ladies to clean the toilet just don't flush it and the majority of them don't speak English so they never understand what you're asking tgem
Front desk people and valet very polite... ...Other people working there, not so much. If you are a Hotel employee of no matter what you do, you have to make all the guest comfortable. Let them ride the elevator first for example, or let them go first through the hallway (specially if the guest has suitcases or bags), don't try to cut them off.
Location Poor customer service, first room they gave us was dirty. Staff seemed tat they didn't care
