Restaurant for having dinner / breakfast in the hotel was ok We applied for 2 non smoking rooms , but instead we got 2 smoking rooms, smelling very badly. It was answered by the reception that the choice between smoking / non-smoking is just a "preference " so we couldn't change our rooms.
standard was high
The matresses are really bad
The staff, the comfort of the rooms Breakfast was not included in the price
Close to the U-bahn, large comfortable rooms, modern facilities.
Staff was very helpful in providing information about the city. Price was way too expensive for the quality of the room. Breakfast was not included, and cost 15 EUR extra.
Very clean, very good location, very warm in the night time. Internet is expensive.
so helpful. so clean. Thought hotel was in centre of Stuttgart, but the town area of Bad Cannstatt was a lovely place and walkable within a few minutes.
Bed was very good and clean also bathroom and modern styled. I slept very well. Breakfast was good but extra 16.00 Euro is a lot because we had dinner in the city very well with 3 persons for 69,00 Euro including drinks. The bar is not filled on the room but at the reception you can buy cold drinks for 3.00 Euro's a bottle and 2.70 for water. A lot of money, if they make it cheaper much more people would use this service. Strange that they do not fill the bar. Also internet use (t-mobile) costs 8,00 an hour, far too much.
Friendly staff (jasmine?) and plenty of space in the room. No air conditioning.
The garden Could hear everything going on in the next room and throughout the hotel.
The hotel staff were so helpful. We asked where to park, and the owner went out and stood in a space until I could get the car over to it. We asked where the train was, and another employee left the building to show us. They were all so nice.
it's a family hotel ! The breakfast it's OK ! For those who have a car, there are free parking places around the hotel. The hotel is a little bit older.
Friendly staff, very nice, picturesque hotel, excellent breakfast. No. It was great
friendly, convenient and I got what I expected. could do with a face-lift.
The Hotel was very intimate and the staff were very nice, the area was quiet, but also very close to rail connection, the breakfast was of the highest quality, unfortunately we never had the opportunity to try the restaurant but I am sure it would been a super eating experience, if i return to Stuttgart will stay at Krehl's Linde again
W-Lan for 5€ for all the stay. Fruits in the room (free). some problems of W-Lan but for this price it's ok.
Staff was super polite and helpful.
Very kind staff. They gave me perfect instruction for a very late check in.
Due to business reasons, we were forced to book, cancel and rebook the hotel a few times. The owners reacted very angry toward the guests, which was unfair, as those guests did not knew anything about it. The hotel could have called our company to find out what was going on. very unpolite!!!
It was local to my needs Difficult to get the reception when it was closed [I.E. sundays]
Perfect location They did not clean the room (despite I was out from 8AM to 11PM!)
No continental or coocked breakfast only cold meats served, hotel bedroom were behind a hare krishna temple very noisy surroundings noisy hotel
Position in Bad Canstatt near Railway station and Breakfast.
There was a "Neues Testament" in my hotel room which is not acceptable (>> Cleanliness of room). I don't care what others believe but I do not accept other people pushing their stupid ideology onto me.
Location of hotel (close to Wilhelma zoo), garage for car parking. During booking we missed the information that front desk is open till 15:30.
Friendly staff, easy access to public transport, location excellent, quiet, close to amenities, and child friendly More choice of breakfast
The staff was exceptional. Access to the u-bahn and s-bahn is quite easy and close. Despite the minimalist nature of the hotel it was comfortable. I wish there had been information about the construction next door to the hotel. It was quite loud and deterred and real relaxing during the day. My only complaint about using these various booking sights is that there should be a caveat explaining if there is something of that nature, does make a difference if you're on vacation.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. No coffee/tea making in rooms, breakfast area was a bit small.
Very friendly staff. Large rooms woth kitchen facilities and office desk. Clean and modern bathrooms. Breakfast-buffet very good for a few days. When arriving in the summer and your window is open, morning sounds of city activity are likely to keep you out of your sleep...
not far from centre with this pricing
Comfortable bed and clean room. The only staff present was nice. Quiet area. No hotel lobby, just one staff present who did not speak English. Wake-up call did not happen (even though it was understood). Room and bathroom fairly small but ok for the price. Restaurant only open for breakfast. Next café two blocks away.
Dealt with our late arrival well. Breakfast was a little poor, it seems you need to be early to benefit.
Position of hotel is excelent, it is situated in quiet part od town, trams and subs gets you in the center in no time.
It was a good hotel. Environment was good. Transportation to hotel and from hotel was good. It was authentic hotel.
..clean,friendly hotel and the lady that owns it is the most smiley and helpful German i 've ever seen.... ...you have to take the train to get to the city centre....breakfast could be better....
friendly staff, location and cleanliness
Friendly staff, clean rooms, flexible breakfast times. Fairly close to S-Bahn. Prices were excellent value for money.
good value hotel!
The friendlyness of the receptionist. The large and clean shower-rooms. Fee internet (i did not have to pay 1 euro/day). The room itself was clean, but the linen on the bed was not fresh. I found 2 hairs and some dirt in the bed ! The room smelled like there has been smoking in it for ages, although it is written in the hotel description as all non-smoking rooms. When i opened the window to get some (-5°C) fresh air, there were the noisy trains. Mattress as hard as a stonetile floor. Very very very noisy people at 5 am in the morning. I will not return here.
I had a very comfortable stay here. The room was good.
an exceptionally nice shower! It was hard to reach the location at night. Only possibility was a night bus.
Staff were very friendly, facilities were excellent, everything seemd refurbed and new. only 15-20mins walk from Bad Canstatt station (depending on how fast you walk). Would Recommend
Kind staff,clean room and toilet.
Price and and helpful staff speaking excellent english. lack of towels
trip to area all was Ok, only the service people did not know how to set up internet connection
I liked it enough to stay here twice. Staff are really friendly and the room was clean. Shared bathroom was okay too. All in all, a good budget hotel. I didn't think the trains were too bad, but they do pass by. Although it does not take long to get into the Hauptbahnhof, the infrequent buses/subway make this seem more out of the way than it actually is.
Clean, comfortable, modern style. Great value for the price. Friendly staff. It was a little tricky to find. Here is the way we got there in case anyone needs easy directions: from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) take U14 the "Remsteck" direction. Get off at the stop called "Rosensteinbrucke". Right down the road, like maybe 30 yards is a bus stop. Take the bus to the Bottroperstrasse stop. The hotel is right around the corner, the front of is is painted red.
Although reception closes at 22:00 I had a problem and was 1 hour later, I called a number and the receptionist came with a smile (I thought he will kill me) offered me a beer and started with the check in papers. Very kind people It´s a little far away from downtown.
