Fordele: "When you lose your phone in the business class seat and a technician goes to find it once you land in Zurich and the day that it has miraculously disappeared there isn’t much to like at all about Swiss Airlines. Swiss Airlines isn’t going to hear the end of this is they don’t agree to replace my son’s phone. My husband is a lawyer and we are prepared to bring this to the public."
Ulemper: "My son dropped his phone in business class seat and the ground staff technician claimed it wasn’t there. Theft at its best! Swiss Air better take responsibility for their shady staff and agree to replace my don’s Phone promptly or we will take this to the public eye and courts. I’m sure we could get a big class action suit."

Ulemper: "Seats 23A, 23B were extra cramped on the B777-300ER, even though they are sold as "extra comfort"! due to the video screen taking space between the seats. The seats were so cramped that the overhead light kept coming on, unknowingly, when people shifted in their seats."

Ulemper: "I bought economy class ticket! (I have a printout ticket as proof!) When I went to the airport i had a VERY UNPLEASANT surprise. I had a 23kg bag. Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

Fordele: "I got ill on my flight to Zurich and the Swiss Flight Attendants attended to me like true professionals. They made sure I was comfortable until we landed which meant the world to me considering I was SO far away from my home. I'd like to especially acknowledge Frank, one of the attendants, who sat next to me to make sure I did not feel alone while I was sitting in the back with ice on my head, and felt like the world was spinning. He was my point of trust and warmth. That was not only extraordinary service, but human compassion at it's finest. Furthermore, the head attendant, who's name I could not get in the haze of the flight, escorted me from the plane to the cart who took me to the lounge to recover until my next flight. Thank you, Swiss Airlines, for having employees who knew how to triage my illness, and took care of me like family would. I appreciate it greatly and will surely be booking all my future European flights on Swiss. Please extend my gratitude to the flight crew on my Athens - Zurich flight on 5/28."

Ulemper: "There was much confusion and no one seemed to know what was going on with this flight. By the time I reached Schipol all trains and trams had stopped. I had to pay an extra 40 euro for cab home that night."

Ulemper: "Sound for on-screen entertainment not working. It was static-y all the time and completely cut out the rest of the time. I made various attempts to solve the problem, switching headphones, switching to my own headphones (which can't really be done because they have a two-prong jack and personal headphones are always one). I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."
Fordele: "I was supposed to visit my father who was just put in a nursing home for a few days and the day of my flight I received an email from Swiss that they had rebooked me for the next day! So frustrating! The trip would have gotten so short that it wasn't worth it so I had to reschedule it 6 weeks out. It got my dad really upset! Thank god his health is stable at the moment."

Ulemper: "I paid extra for extra leg room and there seemed to be no difference in leg room between business class and economy class."

Ulemper: "No where was it mentioned that the fair doesn’t include check in item. I had to pay Euro 30 extra."

Ulemper: "This was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever experienced. The seats were so narrow, there was absolutely no legroom, and when the seat in front of me was reclined I had even less space. For an overnight flight, it was ridiculous. The planes for the short one hour trip from Zurich to Florence were more comfortable. The food was tasteless and very artificial in its appearance and taste. Inedible."

Ulemper: "Crew needs attitude adjustments, as well as the whole aircraft could use a makeover - it’s completely outdated. Plus, the layover in Istanbul was horrible! There were people not wearing masks, and airport staff wasn’t even enforcing any safety even if they saw wrong things happening."
Ulemper: "It took around 15 minutes for airplane to park and I was very near to loose my second flight, if my second flight had not delayed I would have loose it totally."

Ulemper: "Ground crew was very poor at communication, no one warned us we would need a visa; we spent hours and hours queuing for what could have been sorted out in advance. Communication was terrible. The flight was delayed due to Pakistan closing air space. Turkish rescheduled but no real help in Istanbul."

Fordele: "I enjoy flying with Turkish Airlines, because of the staff and great food options, but this time I was starving, to be honest, as the flight was almost 13 hours, and we ate like once or twice. Then.. I had to beg to water all the time. Why would not you provide with plenty of water for such a long flight? This made my flight not great. Boarding process.. HORRIBLE. Took me 1 hour to pass 50 meters of space with endless checkings. Never seen this before."

Ulemper: "I was shocked when we landed in Ataturk and the sleeve was attached to the plane we had to get down to the ground from the middle of the sleeve. We were taken to the terminal by bus!! After the sleeve was already attached! I can understand when you are in some small airport or flying with low cost airline. But it's Turkish airlines in their home airport! Really disappointed."

Ulemper: "Missed the flight bc they changed the gate for the flight without making any announcements. Told me I could pay a penalty fee in excess of $450 to be out on another flight even though same flights to Amsterdam where currently $213 online. When I told them about the price of the tickets online, the response of the customer service agent was "yeah, sometimes the penalties are high". He didn't do anything to try to help. The entire Turkish airlines team at IST is the biggest joke for a customer service team I have ever encountered in any line of business. I have never met a group of "professionals" that are so unprofessional, rude, void of empathy, and overall customer service knowledge than the turkish airlines team at IST. I will never conduct business with Turkish Airlines again and will ensure all my friends, family, and colleagues try their best to avoid them too."

Fordele: "Missed my flight because the airport changed gates and didn't announce it. Was told I could pay a penalty o in excess of $450 to be placed on another flight, meanwhile same flights from Istanbul to Amsterdam were going for $213. I will avoid Turkish Airlines at all costs. Customer service is terrible. The most unprofessional, rude, ignorant, and disrespectful staff represent Turkish Airlines at IST. Furthermore, an email complaint has been ignored."

Fordele: "You can easily trust Turkish Air to get you there on time and in relevant comfort. The staff are very nice and accommodating."
Ulemper: "The plane was a bit more cramped than for example, Singapore air. I also thought the boarding could be improved significantly by calling groups. Even though it was a small flight, the boarding was a bit of mayhem due to the fact that we had to shuttle to the plane."
Fordele: "The meal was good and fulfilling The cabin crew dressed like a chef is a nice and fun thing."
Ulemper: "Slow boarding to the plane, passengers don't respect the different boarding class rule and the staff was not enforcing it. Passengers were standing in the plane after it landed but while it was still driving on the runway and they were opening the overhead luggage compartments risking other passengers health with falling luggage. Also since passengers were standing and the plane was driving on the runway, they were not stable and moving sideways and one of them hit a sitting passenger in the head by mistake. The on-flight entertainment system didn't work from FRA to IST The staff did not do a safety check (check if seat belts on all passengers, seats are in upright position) prior to the plane flying Overall I flew with them 4 times (2 way ticket, with connection flights) and all flights were late to depart and eventually arrive late."
Fordele: "Spacious, nice, friendly, I didn't eat the food because I have dietary restrictions but it looked good."
Ulemper: "Lousy boarding, we were standing on the bus for a long time, in front of the not ready airplane. Entertainment was bad, the sound plugs didn't work properly, the movies kept breaking off. Not a standard we were expecting at all :("

Ulemper: "I could not check in because the system cannot link my flight legs and as such it considered that I’m going to Europe although I’m just transiting in Europe. So it required a visa which I don’t have."

Fordele: "flyturen i sig selv var fin men var forsinket."
Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Fordele: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Ulemper: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

Ulemper: "Little to no overhead cabin room to stow by my bag so had to place under my feet."

Ulemper: "Clear up-front notification about extra charge for first checked bag on both ways of the trip ($60 each). I couldn't find that information at the time of the booking."

Fordele: "Very roomy seats, friendly attendants. Nice sunset. My sister liked the 'tour' of the airport on taxiing to the gate. I found it frustrating. The plane was about 30 minutes late which was nice because it took a while to get off our Munich flight, find our new gate and we ended up nearly running to the gate."
Ulemper: "I, again, didn't like walking down 3 flights of stairs, getting a crowded bus to take us to the plane. We are used to using a jetway to the plane. I realize that European airports are busier than American airports though."
Fordele: "Although the flight to Frankfurt was delayed for more than an hour they made special arrangements to get on time to the next flight."
Fordele: "1st time on a transcontinental flight and 1st time using Lufthansa. Very enjoyable."

Ulemper: "I liked everything except the cookie. It reminded me of the low quality supermarket American cookies, way too sweet and flavorless. They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

Ulemper: "1- the aircraft from cairo to munich was so small that they didn’t allow the carry on baggage and I had to put it with the check in baggage. 2- the special meal ( muslim meal ) that I ordered was a veggie meal !!!!! With no meat or chicken at all , apparently they don’t know what the meaning of a muslim meal is ! It means to have halal meat , we are not vegetarians ! 3- my baggage didn’t arrive to the airport and I filed a report and was told that I will have them tomorrow and now after four days the baggage didn’t arrive yet and I was told that one of them is missing !!!!!!! I can’t hate them enough."

Ulemper: "The cabin got a little hot during the night and made it hard to be comfortable. Also, the seats lean pretty far back so I had little room in front of me when the person sitting in front of me leaned their seat all the way back."
Fordele: "Updates form Kayak were much better than any info from Lufthansa"

Fordele: "I have always wanted to travel with Lufthansa and will do so in future too. For my wife it was her first and she loved it."

Ulemper: "Car seat was lost even though it was brought on the plane and not checked. Didn't care for the food but it was personal preference."

Ulemper: "Flight attendants didn't want to help me find space for my bag. There were many small pockets so I asked them to help arrange so we could fit my bags. Without even looking they said there's no room. 'I can't do that' is what I was told. So who can?? (Maybe she was a transfer from united)"
Ulemper: "Did not take this flight due to delay missed my connection by 15 mins... Rescheduling was easy but flight was not convenant"
Fordele: "Food could be a lot better and the selection I chose was not available. Leg room was limited. Layover for the connection was very long."
Ulemper: "Staff was very courteous, flight"
Fordele: "Lufthansa always does an excellent job, even with a gate change."
Ulemper: "The fact that the person in front of us could push her seat back to the point that the TV screen was up in my mother's face. Just because someone has paid extra for a better seat, does not mean they should inconvenience elderly people (who are less flexible in moving further back). This creates a poor environment. Please consider not having your seats recline to the point where they make the person in the seat behind, extremely uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "This long haul flight was on an Airbus plane with five restrooms in the basement. There was not enough space to accommodate people waiting in the basement so people had to stand on stairs or by the galley. Flight attendants kept on telling people not to do so but there was simply not enough space."
Fordele: "The entertainment options are excellent and make the flight go faster. Meals are good and well spaced."
Ulemper: "Leg room in economy class is still a problem. 11 hours with very little room to shift position is just unpleasant."
Fordele: "They had lots of movies and TV options to choose from."
Ulemper: "The vegetarian option was very poor. Frankly a pizza snack in place of supper is not what I expect on a cross-Atlantic flight."

Ulemper: "Passengers should be notified of the process of changing airplanes at Vienna. What a nightmare. We were scheduled for 50 minutes between flights. Not really enough. If we were aware of what was required it may have helped, however the distance we had to walk was rather extreme."

Ulemper: "Well, it was all messed up by kayak and priceline. I clearly stated in your search engine I want flight with checked baggage, for which you gave me results. What a unpleasant surprise at check-in to find out it was super expensive airticket with only 8 kg of carry on! You are confusing people on purpose, I cant believe your service! And I was loyal customer for years and years. Well, time for change."
Fordele: "Smooth flight, friendly and afficient onboard service. Fast boarding. On time departure."
Ulemper: "Croatian Airline checkin service was good but was made to check in carry on. However, baggage clerk was extremely hostile and wanted to charge us for two bags for which we had prepaid. Would not accept our evidence of payment for the two bags. Finally accepted her mistake but Forced to pay 90€ For the extra bag. Ripoff!! Other airlines (Vueling, Air Europa) checked same bag as courtely, did not charge. First and last time flying Austrian."

Ulemper: "This flight switch added a layover and 8 hrs to my journey home. Not to mention I was in a middle seat on the. 11 hr leg when I had originally booked a window seat."
Fordele: "The pilots are very skilled and keeps you informed about every single “bump” during the flight. Flight attendents are very nice, pleasant, polite and helpful."
Ulemper: "I was at the back of the plane with the constant cold air breeze, it was impossible to avoid!. I caught heavy cold and still recovering!"
Ulemper: "We didnt get our kosher food so we didnt aet on this flight"

Ulemper: "Et halvtomt fly med en aldrende besætning der klart havde været for længe på arbejdsom kun havde fokus på at blive hurtigt færdige med pligterne så de kunne komme til at pludre med hinanden."
Fordele: "Efficient friendly service."
Ulemper: "We were economy so no food was provided, as expected so cannot rate. No entertainment was offered either."
Fordele: "Nothing, SAD were so incredibly cruel and nasty and even laughed at us after we got stranded in Copenhagen. 40 hours of traveling, 2 small children, and the sas ticket people laughed at us and refused to help us, even after we agreed to pay THREE TIMES our original fair."
Fordele: "The total experience from check-in to disembark was extraordinary. The crew were beyond eager to please and extremely responsive. The food was hot and very tasted. The beverage selection was finominal. The cleanliness of the plane and restrooms, although the handle for one of the restrooms fell off the door."

Der var også en større flok amerikanske gæster som dog valgte at feste igennem på turen - da jeg vågnede var personalet godt trætte af alle passagerer og da jeg ville have lidt i pantryet var det pakket ned 2 timer før ankomst - sikkert for at lukke førnævnte fest - men det retfærdiggør vel ikke at de øvrige gæster også har indløst billet til business og den service der betales for."
Fordele: "SAS handles their business very professionally. Entertainment is great, purchasing seats with extra room is affordable. Reliable service."
Ulemper: "Seats are extremely uncomfortable, especially for an 8+ hour flight."
Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."
Fordele: "Business class lounge excellent. People who helped with the wheelchair were excellent."
Ulemper: "In a wheelchair. Check in was terrible and rude. The fact that SAS did not allow us to bring my electric chair directly to the gate was absurd (only airline in the world that did that). The fact that it was not at the gate when we arrived in Newark surprised even the SAS Gate agents. Had to go to baggage and collect it in oversize baggage. Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."
Ulemper: "Flight delayed and we sat on tarmac for 2 hours"
Ulemper: "Flight to Stockholm was cancelled. SAS Provided no informaton on the steps for re-scheduling my flight. I had to call the SAS headquarters in Stockholm before receiving any guidance on what to do next. All service attendants ditched the ticketing desk leaving one poor employee to answer questions for over 70 disgruntled passengers. Very very very poor communication. Luckily I was finally able to book a flight using another airline after waiting on hold for 20 minutes with the regional customer service provider."
Fordele: "I liked that it was available for me to return to Amsterdam in such late notice. Got there quickly and even earlier (10 mins) then expected."
Ulemper: "No on offered me anything to drink or a snack the entire flight or even a hand towel but others in front and behind me were receiving them. I didnt even feel acknowledged during the flight. Even though the tine was good, the price was way too high but since I was desperate I paid it."
Fordele: "Flight attendants"
Ulemper: "Hottest I have ever been in a plane (we were in 40G and H) and I “run cold”. We were sweating and drinking water like crazy (they gave us one bottle and did not routinely walk the aisles handing out more). Luckily we brought our own water. Early June and headed to Scandinavia, not someplace hot. Seats were hard and I put my unused blankets under me."

Ulemper: "Delay without other notification than the expected change of departure and loooong wait before boarding"
Ulemper: "We were traveling with two kids, and one of the kids drops some bread on the floor of the flight. One of the crew is angry to us about this, which makes us very uncomfortable."
Fordele: "Boarding was smooth, luggage came out quickly."
Ulemper: "No entertainment, only coffee and tea served."
Fordele: "Samme som på hjemturen - sæderne var bedre ude i siden"
Ulemper: "Check-in was a disaster. Took almost one hour for a trainee to check us in. Printed 8 bag tickets (for 2 bags) and after we complained was told there was no line at immigration, so should be okay. Guess having a 3 year old wasn’t enough for us to get any compassion or expedited service. At gate. No early boarding for children."
Fordele: "Great flight, friendly crew, good food, entertainment was ok"
Ulemper: "Cramped with no storage, ticket was stand-by took some time to convert to boarding pass and get seating to enter the plane as one of the last people,"
Fordele: "Good service, pleasant staff."
Fordele: "We traveled with our 11 month old and the crew was super helpful. It was an 8.5hr flight, we got a middle seat to give him space to play and the staff had a lot of fun engaging with him. They even gave him a couple of toys to play with. Food was just ok, but better than most airline meals I've had. We flew Premium Economy which was a comfortable experience as well."
Ulemper: "Checking in took too long, but that's more due to the new US-bound flight restrictions and process that's supporting that."
Fordele: "I liked that boarding and take off went smoothly. The cabin crew was extremely nice and always was there when you need something!"

Fordele: "No entertainment. Food not part of basic deal. But was both no problem for me because it was a short flight. On both points I rather would say: N/A"
Ulemper: "Chairs were narrow and not so comfy."
Fordele: "I purchased Plus and found it a good value. My seat on the overseas leg was comfortable -- though it could have reclined better. The food & drink service was conducted as at an elegant restaurant."
Ulemper: "gate change at the last minute across whole airport, and I am in a wheelchair so it was very challenging. people at airport not accommodating, kind or friendly"
Fordele: "I liked that we landed."
Ulemper: "Why can't SAS ever be on time? The last 4-5 flights I've been on have connected me either too late or just barely in time for connecting flights. Please be more like Swiss."

Ulemper: "I was really disappointed at finding out at luggage check-in that I had to pay extra (£60.00) for my one regular-size suitcase. On the return flight I was told that this amount would be - as it turned out in my case - less than half, if I called SAS a day before departure. Why did I have to pay for the checked luggage at all?"

Ulemper: "From the time we reached the airport until we got to the gate was 90 minutes. SAS systems for checking baggage by machine sucks. My wife's number on the booking reference didn't work in the machine Thus we waited in line for 20 minutes to get a boarding pass, but didn't get the baggage tags for her luggage. Another line. SAS overall sucks."
Ulemper: "The agent at the gate misled me into thinking there would be no fee associated with a checked bag. When it turned out there was, I was told it was too late."

Ulemper: "Being served two versions of a ham and cheese wrap in a row. Variety would have been nice."

Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."
