Fordele: "The flight to Zurich was delayed so I would have missed my connecting flight. We were automatically rebooked on British airways which got us home three hours sooner than the Swiss air connections. If they did the rebooking, I find that a real plus but can not rate them on anything else."

Ulemper: "Booked four flights from Zurich to Prague, but plans changed. No way to get a refund or cancellation although I tried two weeks beforehand. Disappointing to say the least."

Fordele: "There were a couple of stewardesses who were nice and helpful to the passengers. The food selection was fairly good. Drinks were available at regular intervals. Flight was comfortable except for some turbulence during landing."
Ulemper: "There was no pre-boarding for families with kids. They waited until the entire Business and First Class passengers boarded in Zurich before they allowed us. This was different in Mumbai where Swiss had families with kids board early. The airbus was not well maintained as fara s cleanliness was concerned. There were bathroom supplies on the toilet floor. Crumbs and food particles on the seats/crevices from the earlier flight"

Fordele: "The crew did a great job of handling our 2-hour delay in starting from Zurich - we were kept updated on what was happening, the aircraft was at a comfortable temperature (not too hot, not too cold), and we were given water during the wait. Also, during the flight, the crew kept coming through with more water, which was VERY NICE! Plus, the moist towels prior to landing. It makes a big difference in comfort levels for such a long flight."
Ulemper: "The on-board entertainment system was old and very clumsy to handle (with the embedded control in the arm rest). Also, it crashed on me two times and had to be re-booted, which was frustrating and took a long time every time it happened."
Ulemper: "If you put the seats this close together, with the amount of recline. Once one person on the fligh reclines their seat it forces everyone else to do so. You can't eat if the person in front of you reclines!"

Ulemper: "Once again, my flight was late. Four out of the last five trips to Barcelona Swiss had a significant delay (longer than the duration of the trip itself) on at least one of the segments. It's getting a bit hard to believe actually."

Fordele: "Food was overall not bad. It would have been nice to have more snack options if I was hungry in between meals."
Ulemper: "Landed early but there was no gate so we just sat on the runway. We also sat on the runway long past when we were supposed to arrive. I'm not sure why there still was no gate when we passed the time that we were supposed to arrive. There were also no power outlets in the plane. For such a long flight, it would be great to have power outlets to charge devices while flying. Flight was also kept very cold. Not very good entertainment options."

Ulemper: "My laggadge was left behind in Zurich (with my medication). Given age of electronics how hard it to make sure that everything is loaded? Not hard at all. They located Laggage at 12:30, but took them 7 hour to ship to Barcelona, so it arrived at 7:30 pm to Barcelona airoport. And they only delivered next day. Not cool. Advice: read laggage tags to reading device during loading and compare with transit customers flight database."
Fordele: "Crew was as helpful as they could be. A man fell ill during the flight and was carried into first class be the crew. There were screaming little kids placed all over economy with parents that did nothing about their high pitched screaming and I do mean screaming and screeching as a form of communication. There was only one much younger child that was in real distress and the Mom and Dad walked up and down the aisles trying to comfort that child and not disturb others passengers. The rows of seats were so close together that when the person in front of me reclined, I could not. get up from my seat and it was on the aisle! The young man sitting next to me just stood on the seat to climb out. We could have made an earlier flight, but the manger of the reservation desk in Tel Aviv was too lazy to check to see if we could switch to the earlier flight was easily make able with lots of seats, but I couldn't do it on line and she was busy talking to her friends. As a result, we had a 6 hour lay over in Zurich that was unnecessary."

Ulemper: "Difficult trip and costly delays both ways. Going to Cairo from Istanbul we were delayed 5 hrs so we arrived at 1AM instead of 8:30PM the night before."

Ulemper: "Food was not good for lunch as if it was spoiled. I knew two others that did not eat I am 6.0 and seats were tight but that is common across all airlines"

Ulemper: "The flight from LAX Ron Istambul was delayed for 2.5h, then the flight from Istanbul to belgrade was delayed by 3.5h. Then we learned that our luggage did not arrive, after waiting for all the bags to come out. This was by far the worst flight we have ever experienced!"

Fordele: "This was a normal flight. Nothing out of the norm. good food, and good entertainment selection."

Fordele: "Turkish airlines is the only airlines I fly with for many reasons. Their quaility is a lot better than most of the airlines out there. ( I've flown with many) Although it does tend to be a little bit more expensive it's deffinetly worth it in my opinion."
Ulemper: "However, unfortunately I have noticed a decline in their service. The food was not as great as it usually is. I had salmon and it was very dry. With the amount of money given to the flight they could have paid attention to it more. It also happened to be my birthday on the flight and my friend who was flying with me called the airlines to ask if there was anything special that can be done. Happily they said that they did do celebrate birthdays and anniversarys. Sadly though nothing was done. Overall was it horrible I would say no but they are starting to loose quality"
Ulemper: "Weeks before the flight, Turkish Airways denied giving me a seat. In the day before the flight their on-line computer system did not recognize my ticket number all though it has for the previous three legs of the ticket. When I arrive at the airport I was told the flight was over booked and giving a stand by boarding card. There were about 15 of us with stand by. Only two were denied boarding. Although they did not say so it was clear it was because it was a Kayak reservation. It took 3 1/2 hours in Istanbul airport to get a boarding pass on the next flight. I spoke to eight Turkish Airway representatives. None of them were helpful. Each shifted me to another office elsewhere in the airport without giving me clear direction. Apparently the issue was that they did not want o pay compensation although I never asked for this. In the final office back outside passport control I said I was looking for a boarding pass not compensation.. They gave me on on the 6:10 pm flight and had me sign a statement that I had received 600 Euros in compensation. When I arrive at JFK, my bag was not on the flight. They say they will deliver it today."

Ulemper: "The staff at the airport is really rude and just tries to push you off to another person. When you do finally talk to someone they will give you a short blunt answer and try to get rid of you. The WiFi is horrible and hardly works. There aren't any quiet places to sleep and many of the phone charging stations cost money."

Ulemper: "My flight was delayed, and the wrong gate was initially listed for my connecting flight, causing me to miss my flight. I asked to transfer to the next flight, but the staff there argued with me and refused to do so, saying I must purchase another ticket. I was forced to purchase a visa, go through passport processing, and purchase a new ticket that cost nearly as much as my entire round trip ticket from the US. I then had to pay to stay overnight in a hotel and had to make alternate arrangements to meet my hosts when I finally reached my destination."
Fordele: "This flight was perfect, good food and excellent crew."
Ulemper: "My luggage did not arrive with me from Istanbul but they put on the next available flight, so big deal"
Fordele: "This was one of those flights where everything was easy. Boarding was on time, relaxed. In fact, everyone was relaxed. We were ready to fly early, passengers spread out in the empty plane with lots of pillows and blankets, food was given immediately to accommodate passengers who were fasting for Ramadan. The screens worked well, lots of game and movie options. Only problem... No gin and tonic! In fact, no alcohol at all on this route."

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"
Ulemper: "It was very hot during the entire flight."
Fordele: "I liked the efficient way in which we were able to board. I thought all of the flight attendants were friendly and were eager to please any requests from the passengers. The plane was clean and comfortable . I thought the handling of food and drinks was very good. The food was good and there were ample servings for inflight food. I liked the wide selection of movies to watch and I liked the way that we could see our flight from a camera under the plane. That was a first for me and I thought it was interesting to view the monitor from time to time."
Fordele: "I liked the entertainment- plenty of things to watch and listen to. Food was good. I also enjoyed the service, hot towels and friendliness of staff. Overall, it was a great experience!"
Ulemper: "Sitting next to many kids who were very noisy and messy. They completely trashed the bathrooms which did not make it fun for me to use after them. This is just what I did not like- I understand this is no fault of the airlines or their staff. I am just more aware that several Turkish families may fly back and forth with their children and as a passenger, you may be seated close to them on the plane- just a thought."

Ulemper: "Bath room was not clean during the flight. Flight attendants can be nicer."
Ulemper: "The additional security check for flight from Istanbul to US was somewhat unpleasant as women were called out from the line to be separated from men for security check. They should have wait for each family to come up for their turn to be checked, so families would not need to be separated for a while."

Fordele: "THE FLIGHT ITSELF WAS GREAT. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COMFORTABLE FOR A 12 1/2 HR. FLIGHT. MY WALLET FELL OUT OF JACKET AND WENT UNDER SEAT, AND THE MAN BEHIND ME HAD TO HAVE TAKEN $400.00 FROM MY WALLET BEFORE I NOTICED IT WAS MISSING...AND ONLY GAVE WALLET BACK WHEN CONFRONTED LEAVING PLANE."
Ulemper: "FELLOW PASSENGERS WERE NOT THE BEST. CREW WAS EXCELLENT."
Ulemper: "There were issues with the entertainment system. It had to be restarted by the crew a number of times and lots of people didn't have fully functioning entertainment for the flight."
Fordele: "comfortable. enjoyed the staff. enjoyed the movies music and travel information on the personal screen."

Ulemper: "The seats were to close to each other, so when you watch a movie on the screen it was very close that it will hurt your eyes if you keep watching the whole movie."

Ulemper: "There was heavy rain in Instanbul and our luggage was not covered. Half my clothing was soaked when I received it in Erbil. No rain in Erbil or Frankfurt, so I know who is to blame. Turkish Airlines in Instanbul. No way are they the best in Eurpoe..."
Fordele: "Great food; plenty of room to stretch out (we flew business class)."
Ulemper: "The service on the flight from Houston to Turkey was much better than it was from Turkey to Houston. For one thing, the flight attendant never made up our beds on the way back to Houston. For another, the sound did not work at my seat, so I was unable to use any of the entertainment. The flight attendant kept trying to give me different headphones...it wasn't the headphones that were the problem!! He never really addressed the issue or coordinated a possible seat change (even though there were empty seats in business class)."
Fordele: "Turkish Air has some of the best flight attendants in the business. The food is essentially gourmet (hot wrap, in this case), and the pilots are highly skilled."
Ulemper: "I tend to need the climate control to be on the cooler side, and 777's seem to run hot. Since there are no air vents, the warmth can be overwhelming. Also, the comments about leg-room, ... correct. I'm 6' 3" and 'uncomfortable' sums it up pretty well. For 10½ hours, being crammed into that small a space can be quite daunting."

Fordele: "The food was decent, as well as the movie selection."
Ulemper: "The crew were incredibly rude, it was badly organised, there we delays on our flights, the boarding process was a nightmare. After booking both mine and my boyfriend's tickets we were later warned that there will be an 8 hour lay over instead of the expected 3 hour (as booked). I will try my very best to avoid Turkish Airlines in the future. After taking many long haul flights in my life, I can safely say that this was my worst and most disorganised travel."
Fordele: "The flight attendants were lovely, they worked smoothly and did their best to manage an unpleasant situation. The facilities are also excellent, and as always, the fresh flowers and hand lotion and such in the toilets was a nice touch."
Ulemper: "The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care."

Ulemper: "Lufthansa burde presse lufthavnen i Frankfurt til at ge bemanding imsilkerhedskonteollen. Kl 6.10 i morges tog det 35 min i business køen og mindst 50 mini economy køen"
Fordele: "flyturen i sig selv var fin men var forsinket."
Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Fordele: "The crew, both in SFO and on board where e excellent. We were well taken care of, in both area's. The service on the plane were top notch, anticipating our every need. The food was yummy and the entertainment great!"

Ulemper: "Not making my connection due to plane delay, poor boarding processes, long Lufthansa lines, and slow customer service. Couldn't make my connecting flight or the flight after that because they were over booked. Then was sent to Brussels with a 4 hour layover, and missed my Saturday interview at 4 pm. Then the Brussels Airlines flight was delayed. Never again."

Ulemper: "My bag did not make the connection. Had to make a claim and was told it would be on the next flight arriving at 12:30 PM. I did not receive it until 10:00 PM at our lodging."
Ulemper: "Boarding seamed inefficient. Loaded handicap onto separate vehicle in middle of us boarding, so it stopped our process. My seat didn't recline even though it had a button. No in flight entertainment?! At all... Got a crappy breakfast omelet that i didn't want to put in my stomach."

The crew walked around the cabin many time throughout the long flight with drinks on their trays (not just the usual drink service) which was much appreciated. Overall they get a 10 from me! This was my first time flying with Lufthansa. I will most definitely fly with them again and recommend to all my friends."

I just had come off 20hrs of travel. Phone on mute. No e mail. Now they say will deliver this evening - but no time slot so another wasted vacation day waiting for them to get their act together. Why can't they call/text me with a 30 minute window."

No covid safety. Keep distance apparently don’t count when you onboard or in the bus from gate to/from plane. Could hardly move. And late again, again, again. Seems to be the new norm.

Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"

We flew back I believe an hour and a half back only to not have proper fuel equipment which took fueling forever and caused our crew to go past their duty day which made use get diverted again to Iceland for a new crew and even more gas. We were held on the plane for a total of 8 additional hours! We were never allowed to get off the plane, we were given very minimal food and drink the additional 8 hours, and when my girlfriend asked what was going on your information person in Copenhagen said they had no idea what was going on with my Flight and had no idea where it was."

My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."

Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."

Ulemper: "The 3hr delay with no explanation or any information whilst waiting in the airport."
Ulemper: "The gate for boarding was supposed to close at 1205pm but they didn’t announce the gate until 11:30am. The flight was supposed to take off at 12:35pm but there was no announcement of delay, all of the attendants said that everything was on schedule, yet boarding didn’t even start until 1230pm. They randomly took people out of line and told them their bags were too big and made them pay 50 euro, even though their bags still went in the same hold and they were no bigger than anyone else’s when later compared. It was an international flight and multiple people didn’t even have to show their passports. Then on the plane we sat on the runway for about another hour and didn’t takeoff until 1:40pm. The take off was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The seats were basically lawn chairs glued to the ground and the aisles aren’t large enough for the crew so they were constantly bumping everyone in the aisle seats. The landing felt like the plane was going to flip over and crash and then on top of everything we were told that Ryanair didn’t have enough employees to take our luggage off of the plane."
Ulemper: "We were charged an additional $70 per person to have our boarding passes printed at the airport. After waiting 40 minutes in line to check in, we were made to go to another office to get boarding passes. Even though we arrived 3 hours before the flight, we barely made it. Ryanair tries to put as many obstacles and charges in your way before you fly. You have no recourse as you would miss your flight if you don’t pay the extra charges. During the flight, the whole purpose of the crew is to sell duty free goods. This airline is the worst! I’d pay more to another airline, just to avoid Ryanair."

There was no clear guidance for queuing, so the speedy boarding we paid extra for was close to useless, staff then scanned boarding passes without a care for passports. Once on the plane the flight was delayed for 2 hours and only after 45 mins of sitting around waiting for an explanation were we given one by the captain."

Ulemper: "Checking in at the Marrakech airport was a nightmare. People had to guess where to line up. There were two lines. A woman working with passengers seemed efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, I was not in her line. The dude who "helped" me hated the world and everyone in front of him. Their computers were down, and he had to hand write the boarding passes (?!). He really resented doing this for people and let them know. Once at the gate we had to get in a line, to get in another line outside, to get in another line to board, and of course we sat on the tarmac due to delays. I had to check a bag at the gate for being slightly too big. That's fine. But really, I end up paying what I would for a more professional (not "low-fare") airline. No one wants to be here. Not the employees, and not the passengers."

At flyene er skrabet - der er intet net til opbevaring. At kabinepersonalet taler utroligt dårligt engelsk, så man ikke forstår, hvad der bliver sagt over højttaleren."

We pulled it up on our mobile and got back in line. She then told very rudely agreed to help us. My husband thanked her for her kindness and I giggled and walked away (because she wasn’t kind at all). she then began to scream at us from 20 feet away “YOU ARE VERY RUDE AMERICANS!” I’ve never experienced something that odd. Then, the flight was 4 hours late for some unknown reason. I tried to get a wine on the flight and the credit card machine wasn’t working. Instead of doing whatever normal company would do and graciously give us a wine for the terrible service, very late flight and no working way to pay, the flight attendant grabbed the wine back and continued serving other people. The whole day was a disaster. Now it’s 2 am and I have another flight to be up for in 4 hours."

Vi sad foran og kunne ikke få varmen pga alle de folk der skulle ind, som ikke kunne gå ind bagfra - det ville sige alle skulle igennem fronten og det tog også rigtig lang tid. Så alt i alt en dårlig oplevelse!"

For our carry on. This was the third airline we in our European vacation. No one else was being asked and had bigger bags then we did. I told them that they had to be consistent with everyone that was going by to make sure that they also paid. But they didn't even bother to check People with European passports. We will never ever flight with this airline agin. We don't recommend it. The airplane was old. The seats were torn. And the landing was horrible."

Cabin Staff just wanted to get away as fast as and gave up preventing these degenerate snowflake freeloaders from stuffing their bits and pieces in several storage cabins along the cabin. Of course these people went to all of the lockers in turn and rifled through them as their stuff was spread across several lockers. Luckily my bag, with it’s many padlocks, was completely locked down, and it survived an attempt to open it. My partner was not so lucky, however. Clearly the cabin staff are under pressure to get moving and keep the passengers happy. But it is obvious to m that these ‘later’ passengers are working a scam to steal from other passengers. RyanAir need to make these argumentative over packers, put their stuff in the hold, without question or get off. Off-boarding was also a joke, the priority boarders at the front of the plane that Paid the most, had to get on a bus to the terminal that was the last to move...so forcing a lengthy queue at passport control, it took over an hour to get into the terminal. As the less exoerienced traveller faffled about with their documents, multiple children, and no queueing system. It was chaos on the Spanish side. RyanAir would avoid the delays by having better trained assertive staff, and a little better administration on the ground to ensure that priority boarders get what they paid for. Otherwise I might as well fly SwissAir, or Lufthansa, which are only a 15% price point away. [after seat booking and other RyanAir add on costs.] Passenger===Disappointed [and literally was robbed in flight.]"

Ulemper: "Too pricey for hold luggage so everyone is taking hand luggage and not enough room on flight. My legs were really sore I felt uncomfortable and squeezed in."

Ulemper: "Flyet var så forsinket at vi ikke nåede flyet til Budapest, vi er derfor strandet i Berlin til næste dag, vi har ikke noget sted at sove eller være og vi måtte bruge over dobbelt så mange penge på nye flybilletter. Derudover går det ud over vores uddannelse, for det er vores studietur I har ødelagt."
Fordele: "I ultimately got to my destination."
Ulemper: "- Was charged left and right until I paid twice for my ticket. I even paid to get my boarding pass. - Boarding was a mess. Passengers were blocked in a hot area, then in the stairs for an hour before boarding - Flight was an hour half late - Flight crew was rude and systematically failed to resolve a seat assignment problem. They mocked a passenger instead of admitting they were wrong about not checking for the error in the seat assignment - More of an annoyance; Flight crew was constantly selling stuff, from drinks to cheap fragrance and scratch lottery cards. In summary, Ryan Air is a scam and an embarrassment to the industry."

Ulemper: "It was our first trip with Ryanair and it is really low low cost, compared to Norvegian and other low cost airlines. Never again - first and last time...."

Ulemper: "3hr delay and the worst landing I have ever experienced, Stevie Wonder would have done better."
Fordele: "The price of the flight and convenient travel times kept making their flights more attractive. The flight itself was very nice and comparable to any other airline despite comments I had read about steep lift offs and advertisements blaring the whole time. None of that happened."
Ulemper: "Of course the price of the Ryanair flights is what lures you in., but just about EVERYTHING else after that is stressful with this airline. All their rules must be followed precisely or you'll pay through the nose. After painstaking finding the right sized roller bags and under seat sack and making sure I was well within the weight limit, they never measured or weighed either of them. I also saw plenty of carry-on luggage way bigger than mine come on board and go into the overhead bins just fine. Kind of pissed me off. The price to check bags is SO SO high, but with the limited weight you can take in the carry-on, you almost have to check a bag unless you're doing a short 3-5 day trip."
