Fra den 25. juni kan rejsende, der ankommer fra Østrig, Belgien, Bulgarien, Kroatien, Tjekkiet, Cypern, Danmark, Estland, Finland, Frankrig, Grækenland, Ungarn, Island, Irland, Italien, Letland, Liechtenstein, Litauen, Luxembourg, Malta, Nederlandene, Norge, Polen, Portugal, Slovakiet, Slovenien, Spanien, Sverige og Schweiz, rejse ind. Tyskland har også ophævet adgangsbegrænsningerne for rejsende fra følgende lande: Australien, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand og Uruguay. Rejsende skal have tilbragt mindst 2 uger i ovennævnte lande, før de flyver til Tyskland. Restriktionerne for adgang fra Kina, Japan, Sydkorea, Hongkong og Macao vil også blive ophævet, hvis der kan opnås gensidighed. Listen vil blive revideret hver anden uge. Rejsende fra et hvilket som helst tredjeland kan rejse ind, hvis de kan påvise en vigtig årsag til deres rejse. Listen over vigtige grunde omfatter tyske statsborgere og EU-borgere og alle tredjelandsstatsborgere med opholdsret i Tyskland. Disse tests accepteres: Antigen-, PCR-, RT-LAMP- og TMA-test. Børn under 6 år er undtaget fra at præsentere et COVID-19 testresultat. Rejsende, der kommer ind i Tyskland fra et andet land og har besøgt et højrisikoområde inden for de sidste 10 dage skal gennemføre en digital registrering inden rejsen.
Kravene til karantæne i Tyskland varierer alt efter den tyske stat. Fordele: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Ulemper: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."
Fordele: "The entertainment and food was very good. I also think having fresh fruit available in between meals is one of the most appealing things about SWISS."
Ulemper: "For some reason, one of the air hostesses refused to let me use the restroom. For over five hours I tried to use the restroom and she kept yelling at me to sit back in my seat, in spite the fact that several other people were using the restroom and several other people were up and moving about, she singled me out and wouldn't let me get up without harassing me. Eventually I appealed to another one of the flight crew who allowed me to urinate, but it was over five hours I had to pee and was inexplicably not allowed to."

Ulemper: "I was stuck in an aisle seat in the back of the plane where there was literally no leg room - there was a metal box (video equipment?) in the very narrow space underneath the seat in front of me. Luckily there was no one sitting in the middle seat so I could put my legs there. Also, when flying to Europe from the west coast I prefer flying to the east coast first and then taking a red eye."

Ulemper: "Having to be shuttled to the airplane from the gate. Not bad, just something I am not used to. There was no entertainment as it was only a 50 minute flight. This crew really had no personality at all. Quite robotic. Again, efficient but lacking in sparkle."

Ulemper: "Airbus seats are uncomfortable and with very close pitch. The ground crew was mixed. The woman who helped me with re-seating was very nice . The woman who managed the boarding objected to a standard size carry-on, saying it was large and heavy (even though they didn't weigh it), and United at IAD measured it at under 8 kg) so they took it from me and sent it as luggage. (Fortunately, no extra charge.)"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Agent changed our flight to Munich and sent as a email with with confirmation on July 10. involuntary. On July 20. I checked Lufthansa app and found that only flight that was shown was flight Toronto-Thunder Bay. After 3 hours of phoning I found that flight from Munich to Toronto wasn’t available for date that was given us in email. Only option was day earlier or later. Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."
Ulemper: "The flight was cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow same time due to bad weather. I had a child with me and it took 2.5 hours for us in the airport to get a hotel and taxi for night stay and I reached at 0030 at night. The lufthansa staff was not helpful at the start. Ulemper: "Boarding was a zoo as the system was down -not very organized either. There was one crew member who was extremely rude and even as people boarded by her section did not greet people. Skipped a few rows with drinks and then told them there was no time to bring even a glass of water. Fortunately another crew member (who we also asked as they went by) brought water to those she had skipped who wanted it. My TV monitor was not working. Aging planes - need a thorough cleaning. The announcements were garbled and very difficult to hear."
Ulemper: "So there was a 2 hours delay in Dallas which resulted in 11 hours delay in Frankfurt .. this trip was horrible how did they dare do that to the passengers.. they should have gotten us a place to rest but we were left on the chairs in the airport.. will never fly Lufthansa anymore"

Actually about 5 Boarding areas were down no one was available to give direction or answer questions until you got To the front of the line and many had to be sent then to a different line. Bad enough the terminals were down but not even close to German efficiency in handling the problem. Also several of the stewards were rather surly and short"

Ulemper: "Stuck in Frankfurt due to weather which I understand but no one helped us navigate the customer service lines and it was utter chaos!!! I stood in line for four!!!! Hours and did not get checked on once then i found out I did that for no reason and i had to wait In another line for almost two hours!!! Then then next day my flight was delayed for four!!! Hours due to engine issues and they had to get a new plane so the rerouted two flights had To be canceled And I was stuck overnight again in Dallas. No one met me at the gate or had anything to say to me. Not really one ounce of customer service . I could tell it was Hard with the airport closing due to weather but this is an international flight and someone could have done something to help me just navigate the process over the three day period. One woman who I finally talked to in Frankfurt spent an hour with me when i was utterly exhausted and there were No more flights or hotels left She was To be commended. The rest was chaos and exhausting and I still have another flight tomorrow."

Ulemper: "The flight was excellent. Crew attentive and pleasant, good amenities--decent meals (special diet preferences observed on 2nd of two flights, but not first). Frequent offers of beverages and water throughout the flight from Munich to EWR, hot towels. Nice! I was not able to choose my seats until check-in, 24 hours before flight time. Of course if I wanted to pay extra (would have amounted to $60 for two flights for each passenger) I could have. Representatives at check in in Athens, were indifferent and not very pleasant."

It was actually Air Canada. If that is a partner of Lufthansa, very disappointed. Would not fly Air Canada again, but LOVE Lufthansa."

And the staff was extremely organized and transported our luggage so that it made it to the final destination with us. All this happened in under 30 minutes. Great service"

Ulemper: "My father and I were seated in biz class but were unable to sleep because of a fan noise directly over our seats in Row 9. We complained to the attendant about it but she was unable to determine the cause. Many hours later, a different crew member identified the noise source and stopped it by simply flipping a switch. This disruptive noise could have easily been avoided but the ignorance of the crew member to whom we complained failed to solve it. By the time the second crew member identified the problem there was not enough time to sleep. This experience was extremely disappointing. We paid extra to fly business class so we could sleep, but this ridiculous crew error fouled our plans. We asked the crew to file a report about it and they did. Look into it. We expect a refund of the extra fare we paid, or else we will never fly Austrian Airlines again. I am an affluent person and I travel internationally 6 times per year. You would be smart not to anger me and lose my business."

Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."

Ulemper: "SAS is a train wreck. everything they told us was misinformation from the first delay (there were 5 delays, one each hour, before they cancelled) The whole time they would not allow ticket changes while we watched available flights take off for 5 hours. We had no say in the rebooking - they just said wait you will get an email. The SAS workers need to be trained - how about putting up a sign that says "this line for parking vouchers ony'ly" when 300 people are lined up for assistance."
Fordele: "Fairly new plane."
Ulemper: "Only airline that made us check in our luggage; and charged us an exorbitant amount (+/- $90 per luggage) in doing so. No customer service at all. 1st attendant wouldn’t let us check-in at the counter, and 2nd attendant made us check in our carry-on despite it only being 2kg over. We could’ve moved some items around. When we boarded the plane, we saw multiple people whose carry-on looked suspiciously over the weight limit. We felt singled out. It was obvious that this airline only cares about profit and does not care about the customer. Attendants were rude and not helpful. Needless to say I will nit fly with this airline again."
Fordele: "With tablets for the entertainment system – – a ton of good movies to choose from. So much so that we stayed up hours after we planned to, watching movies"
Ulemper: "Seats were a little crowded together, but that’s to be expected in modern passenger flight"

Fordele: "Everyone I interacted with from SAS was very nice and very polite. Smooth, short flight. Bags came down pretty quickly. The coffee on the plane was better than in my hotel in Edinborough!"
Ulemper: "I didn't realize that even though I am an international traveler, I had to pay for baggage for this short flight. And since I didn't realize it, I didn't purchase it online, which doubled the price at the airport :-( also, and this is not the fault of the airline, the security line is ridiculously slow because at least 50% of the passengers get shunted to a single line because the screener saw something odd."
Ulemper: "If you want to have a different meal than what they offer, you have to contact customer service before hand. I never been on a flight so far, where there wasn’t a vegetarian option. So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."
Ulemper: "No choice in main course. Only one option Long time since wine or beer is not offered free on a “major” airline. The entertainment was interrupted a couple of times with adds. Seats are tight and space more in line with a discount airline."

Thats not a good service for a long trip fligt: washington-copenhagen and back. All other Airlines i have been with gives you a choice to choose between 2 different meals, buT SAS they decide for you ! And i have never seen any airline serve pork/ ham because of different believes people have, but SAS service you pork on an international 8 hours flight ! This is first time and last time I’m gonna fly with SAS. I always fly with KLM , perfect in everything and anyway. NO MORE SAS FOR ME !"

Fordele: "No entertainment. Food not part of basic deal. But was both no problem for me because it was a short flight. On both points I rather would say: N/A"
Ulemper: "Chairs were narrow and not so comfy."
Fordele: "I loved that there were a lot of different movies, TV shows, games, music, and more to choose from- all for free! Then there was a dinner- not bad at all-, a snack later on, and breakfast too, all included. Headphones if you needed them ( lifesaver there as I had temporary misplaced mine), a blanket, and a pillow. The crew was really polite, and there was never more than one person in line for the bathroom."
Fordele: "My first time flying SAS on my trip to Europe from USA and I was highly impressed. Everything was efficient and comfortable. One of the highlights was the check in - this is often a long and frustrating process, however this could not have been easier and so quick. Fordele: "Punctual and very cordial staff."
Fordele: "Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."
Ulemper: "The flight was cancelled causing a domino effect of plans. I spent the evening and morning canceling and trying to reschedule plans. Your airline rebooked me for a flight the next day that ended up having air filter problems. I lost 3 days of vacation from the 10 total I get a year and from the 8 I had taken for my vacation."
Ulemper: "Multiple maintenance delays and groundcrew forgot to load some bags so there was an even further delay. Flight was cramped too."
Fordele: "Entertainment, food, seats!"
Ulemper: "We chose seats on the same row as grandparents and had preprinted boarding passes at home. When at check-in desk to drop off baggage, the employee printed new passes and change the seats row for the 4 four us, which made us be in a different row than grandparents. I did not notice until we boarded the plane."

Fordele: "Scandinavian Airlines was good to work with in person to fix issues."
Ulemper: "This was a connecting flight that was swapped to go to Newark instead of DC due to unforeseeable delays in DC. Not bad in and of itself but they only gave me a few hours notice that my flight was changed (email sent at 1 AM on a 7 AM flight) and I lost my already paid for upgrade to premium economy. They couldn't find any record of me having purchased an upgrade when I went to check in on my 5+ hour flight."
Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."
Fordele: "Entertainment selection was very nice and the actual plane ride was smooth"
Ulemper: "Took over an hour delay for boarding due to air conditioning issues, then when we boarded we were told it was 35 Celsius until they start the engines. Then took an additional hour once boarded to take off due to traffic. Completely missed my connecting flight"
Ulemper: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

Passengers with higher seat numbers boarded through the font entrance. Getting to your seat felt very crowded."

Ulemper: "Flight delayed two hours. Terminal for exit in Budapest for final boarding on Tarmac basically a tin warehouse. Stood a very long time. On tarmac and busses in Paris. Reason it’s low cost."
Fordele: "Not a lot! Crew was okay but it was cramped and hot. And speedy boarding is pointless when they put you on a bus. You pay to beat the crowds!"

Ulemper: "The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. This was due to them being hunched forward a bit, which made sitting on them for the 1 hour flight uncomfortable. More comfy chairs would be great."
Ulemper: "The boarding process really lets Easyjey down. It’s never clear where to queue or where to stand and so many passengers get angry about it. It becomes such a stressful thing. It’s literally the reason I chose not to fly with EasyJet where possible. Shame because everything else is good."

Ulemper: "We had to cancel the trip because my father has recently passed away. We have spent $200+ in phone calls waiting to speak to an agent and to call back for follow up. The agent service is terrible and it’s not fair that we have to call long distance to cancel due to bereavement. I did not think it would be so hard. It’s been very frustrating. We have travel insurance through you and all the paperwork is in French that was emailed to me. The issue is still unresolved and I’m very disappointed."
Ulemper: "Don’t be even one minute late for the 40 minute pre-flight deadline or you will not get on the plane. All personnel are trained to say no! They canceled all but one flight that was 12 hours later so we had to go to another airport. They charged us over $120 per ticket to change."
Ulemper: "They made us pay for our bag even though we only had one and it fit into the measurements. They said it was because it was full but they still made us pay 60 euros each. Making it a 120 euro more than it should have been. They also pretended not to speak English when we tried to talk to them about payment even though they spoke perfect English when they told us the cabin overheads were full. Will definitely be contacting kayak about this."

We have a reservation for 2 passengers, and in the system I paid for an extra luggage... considering the price I paid I didnt realize that that was only an extra piece only for one passenger, so we had to pay 57 euros for the additional piece of the second passenger at the counter... considering the total ticket for 2 passenger was 120 euros, that increased the total price for almost 50%... Not even in Mexico the ticket for these kind of low budget airlines are so confuse and "tricky"."
