Boarding is always well organised from Changi however it was a full flight and as always half the passengers exceeded their carry on allowance. Rather than addressing this bags were flung everywhere no nowhere within your actual reach during the flight. Very annoying when you are a passenger who does the right thing."

Fordele: "the first class seats from HK to SFO, IFE, service, dom perignon, red wine, excellent attention, greeted personally by four of flight team, provided flight details personally. Im 6'0" so the bed was a little short. it was simply a wonderful experience."
Ulemper: "the IFE is not touch screen and pausing on the hand held was fidgety, but a huge 24 inch screen and beautiful."

Fordele: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."
Fordele: "The A380 is an amazing plane. The flight was smooth and the engine sounds were fairly low."
Ulemper: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

Ulemper: "I was travelling with a toddler and they did not have a toy or activity to give her on a 15 hour flight. We were told to keep our seats upright during meal times and to keeo our window shutters down during other times. This made sense. But there were passengers right in front of us who had their seats reclined during meal time and the crew did not tell them anything."

Fordele: "I am still trying to find my bags. I missed my connection and Jet Blue made me stand in a line to get rebooked for 7 hours. Unprofessional, uncaring. None of this was my fault but everyone who represents Jet Blue treated me as if it were. Never again"

Ulemper: "The flight from Cairo to Istanbul was delayed one hour and I missed my flight from Istanbul to Houston and i had to get a visa for $30 in cash and spend the night in Istanbul thus I will be arriving a day late in Houston. I was offered no assistance to avoid missing my flight. I had to run only to find my other plane left without me..."

Ulemper: "Many flights were grounded for several hours because of some airline operational glitch. We were provided with no information or guidance about how to resume our travels. As we tried to sort ourselves out we were sent from lineup to lineup without much progress or friendly service."

The lady seated neit to us in the aisle seat was in a wheel chair so was a problem if having to get in and out. I didn’t think it was fair that a person who depends on a wheel chair sits so far back on a plane. She also had to deal with our crying baby"

Ulemper: "Flight from Istanbul to Bangkok was delayed for 3.5 hours with no apology and no compensatory measures such as drinks and food or lounge access Power outlets in Istanbul airport are all round plug European with no USB terminals for phone recharging"
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Fordele: "The seats are not as luxurious as the international. They do not recline that much and are not pods. No surprise as that is similar to the US. But it was only a 3 hour flight so was fine. Food was same as first trip, solid.. Staff was very friendly."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2.5 hours. They did not communicate at all the reason. Takeoff was supposed to be 8.30pm, didn’t take off until 11pm. Sat on the tarmac for over an hour and the crew or pilot did not say a word. The beverage service again was lacking compared to other international business class flights I’ve taken."
Ulemper: "They have canceled my flight even though I have booked it long time ago. They climed its because they have overbooked the flight. Crew was rude and short tempered, didn't understand the urgency of having to go to that flight"

Ulemper: "Seating in Economy class is terrible. For tall persons like me it is a punshment to be squeazed in such a narrow space. Turkish airlines should add more space and comfort with their seating in Economy. Introduce a Premium Economy Class would solve that problem"

Fordele: "Turkish had several flights departing close In time and they only had three agents at the check in counter, makin* the process painful at 4:30am. After on hour in line only about 10 passenger seat were checked in. By th way all the security screening procedures ran very smooth and quick, it was Turkish procesdures and man powe4 that was poor. Boarding the airplanes was chaos, both in Tel Aviv and Istanbul."
Ulemper: "Very little was done to impress the passengers from check in, boarding, airplanes were old and peach between seats small."
Fordele: "I like the food and the service plus the entertainment on the Telvision"
Ulemper: "Excellent 10.0 Feb 6 2016 The service provided by the airline crew was magnificent. I enjoyed the entire flight from my departure point to the arrival point. Turkish Airline is my to go airline herein henceforth. I will implore prospective travelers to give the airline a shot (try). I can unequivocally attest that the decision to do so will not be regretted."

Ulemper: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Ulemper: "The fact that I missed my connection flight in Thailand because of a two hour delay. I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"

Ulemper: "Why does Turkish Air boarding always have to be so chaotic - pushing and shoving, etc. Why cant TK control their business class space - people from economy always coming up for bathrooms when there are plenty in the back....."

Fordele: "Flight was very punctual (actually early enough to cause problems with being collected on arrival), despite being full, there was ample space. The food was very edible, brings service was sufficient and the crew were friendly and helpful."
Ulemper: "The gate was a good 15-20 minutes walk from the main duty free area of the terminal with not much signage indicating this. The touch function on my inflight entertainment screen lagged a bit and there was no USB charging offered"

Fordele: "1.The in flight entertainment options such as movies, TV programs and music, offered in flight were very good. Many recent movies and TV programs 2. For long international flights, the airline still provides disposable slippers, toothbrush, and eye cover for every passenger 3. Crew members on board were friendly and service oriented"
Ulemper: "1. Poor support for passengers with international transfers. We took Turkish airline to fly from Rome to San Francisco with an overnight stopover in Istanbul. The airline promised overnight stay and transportation. When we got into Istanbul airport after 11:00pm as scheduled, there was no support from the airline. Different airline staff provided different answers. Very confusing. The on-site transfer desk support was unfriendly and not helpful. 2. Tight seat configurations for international flights. For our 13-hour flights, the seats were not comfortable."
Fordele: "Better food and service than other airlines on which I've traveled recently. Loading passengers was disciplined and speedy. Staff very helpful. Istanbul airport is great for a long wait. If you go to a gate waiting area with no flight soon, you can stretch out and sleep. Good English-language bookstore."
Ulemper: "It wasn't communicated beforehand to check in our baggage to electronics."
Fordele: "I always enjoy flying with Turkish airlines it is a breeze from check in all the way destination from food to entertainment it all runs so smooth I will fly with u any day so far that is the best"

Ulemper: "Istambul Intl. Airport: Wifi requires a code to be sent to a working cell phone. It never worked for me (and that on 6hrs+ layovers there) and obviously people with only a pc or iPad/ipod/iphone without working sim card are screwed. If you offer free wifi, don't add ridiculous requirements that no one can fulfill."

Ulemper: "I know seats in the 777-300 recline but do not disrupt the next row's space. That was not the case on the Airbus A330-300. It would be nice if the same seats were on the Airbus aircraft I flew from Istanbul to Bangkok."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "My row had 3 seats behing a row of 4. We were weirdly offset so I had to look to the right to see my TV. Super uncomfortable. Dont like TV much anyway. Gave up on it real quick"

Fordele: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"

Fordele: "They are prompt and very fast at loading and unloading. Quite a bit better than any other airline I have used. Leg room on small airplanes was good in economy, but not as good on larger jet to USA. The servers offered me ice in my water bc I am American. I appreciated that so much since I'd spent the last 12 days in Europe where no one serves with ice!"
Fordele: "the service from boston to frankfurt was flawless, great crew, great entertainment."
Ulemper: "i was promised the business lounge when i got to Riga because of the lengthy connecting time, i was refused entry and 2 out of the 3 staff were very rude and dismissive. my upgrade included the use of the lounge at both ends of the business class, i understand that it maybe should not of been promised but thats not what happened. i was very tired and ended having to walk round concourse A for 4 hrs with nowhere to go."

Ulemper: "Crew was not helpful. There was clearly not enough room for everyone's hand luggage, and the crew members simply shrugged their shoulders. I flew with hand luggage on lap because bins were full."

Ulemper: "Food was horrible. Service was scarce. Bathrooms were not the cleanest. Snacks were scarce and not appropriate. The tv screens were not too user friendly and programs would skip while showings."

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Ulemper: "It was a bit warm on both flights from DTW to FRA and the return. I usually dress for flying assuming it will be chilly but it was the opposite, a bit warm. No individual air control either. the last meal served was a ham & cheese sandwich which tasted odd..I couldn't eat it, other meals were fine."

Ulemper: "The plane was delayed for no apparent or known reason. Took forever to board and then we missed our connecting flight. I have no need to fly Luthansa again. Get what you pay for with bottom of the barrel airlines I guess."

Ulemper: "Flight sat at the gate for an hour due to take-off slot, reached 45 minutes late."
Fordele: "The perfect assistance. We are very grateful, many thanks to the man who helped us in all we needed."
Ulemper: "When the lufthanza gate agents saw us running to catch the flight they ran into the jetway to avoid us instead of holding the plane. We waited for 5 minutes and watched the plane back out from the jetway. Their ignorance and 5 minutes caused us to miss the wedding we were flying to Italy to attend. Ridiculous!"
Ulemper: "Little food"

Ulemper: "The snack at dinner. A simple sandwich would be better instead of the heated pizza and large sandwich they did give."
Ulemper: "Seats are very uncomfortable. Body wants to slide forward."
Fordele: "Lufthansa went out of their way to provide a meal accommodating my son's food allergies. I was quite impressed, since it was beyond their standard/listed offerings."
Ulemper: "No internet available (2020). For the my previous flight, a month ago, was the same problem."
Fordele: "The best airline ever! Super friendly crew and staff, great customer service and nice planes. Love KLM!"
Fordele: "Due to business I travel allot so I deal with allot of airlines. This is by far the best airlines I have used. Excellent crew and airport staff. I don’t think words can express how satisfied I am with this airlines and airport. The nicest people and great service. Clean and modern aircraft. Going to try flying only with KLM from now on."
Fordele: "Food was great, movie selection too. Everything was great except for I couldn’t really get comfortable to sleep"
Ulemper: "Not sure how to make the seats more comfortable. I have some back issues though. However, some of my travel companions slept right through the flight."
Ulemper: "The only complaint I had was that it was very warm on the flight (and I usually get cold on flights), and in the seats we had there weren't fans above the seats. A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"
Ulemper: "Transavia does not serve anything complementary, not even water. A flight between two countries that is five hours long must be better than this. I was not aware of Transavia doing that before I booked. I will never fly with them again"

Fordele: "Crew was amazing. They adjusted the seating arrangements so there was an empty seat in every row to give passengers more space. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. They served delicious meals, snacks, and water. They provided headphones, blankets and pillows. They took very good care of us."

Mainly because other passengers obviously don't read instructions re: weight/contents of cabin bags etc. Would be helpful if there was additional staff to deal with them away from check in desk. This would mean that others did not have to queue for 25 minutes because the check in girls also had to deal with them"

Fordele: "Seat 39A did not recline. The gentleman next to me spread his arms out a bit as he typed on his computer the entire way. So I did not get ANY sleep. Plus he got up at least four times."
Ulemper: "Except for the man next to me - great!"
Fordele: "The cabin crew was so kind, efficient, and attentive. All meals and snacks were delicious."

Ulemper: "KLM needs to upgrade the entertainment. It was very hard to see the images on the screen. The planes that KLM uses are old and they sure need to be upgraded."

Ulemper: "Our two hour connection in Paris became 30 minutes because Air France was late in leaving Washington. So our luggage didn't make to to KLM to Amsterdam. My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"
Fordele: "Smooth boarding, clean seats/plane, nice small aircraft (2 rows x 2 seats each), surprisingly spacious (more legroom than expected - and I’m 6’2”)."
Ulemper: "About 1h30min delay without an explanation. All other planes in the terminal seemed to take off on time without a problem, without exception (aside from this flight, of course)."

Ulemper: "Seats on the 777 were too narrow. This 777 had a 3-4-3 seating arraignment, it would have been better with a 3-3-3, similar to a 787 configuration. With the current layout, even with an aisle seat, I was sitting in the aisle. And I am not a large person! The flight was full, so use the 787 and two daily non-stops. For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."
Fordele: "I was pleasantly surprised they had a snack service on such a short flight. The flight attendants were very friendly"
Ulemper: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"
Fordele: "Arriving more or less on time"
Ulemper: "Crew is awful. Disrespectful desinterested in customers find themselves very important. No service mentality whatsoever. No respectful airline would hire such arrogant self centered personalities in a service role"
Ulemper: "Late Cabin extremely warm Full flight and centre seat means no room to relax or carry out work"
Ulemper: "Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"

Ulemper: "No Marlboro light cigarettes on the duty free shopping cart"
Fordele: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."
Ulemper: "The seats in economy were a little too small for a 12 hour flight"
Fordele: "The staff were friendly and all smiles. Seats were comfortable and we had a quick, smooth flight from Edinburgh to Amsterdam. The breakfast supplied was an egg and mayonnaise sandwich plus a drink, which seemed about right and very Dutch in character."
Ulemper: "It was rainy and necessary to walk outside to access the plane; the staff should give their customers a heads-up so that jackets can be donned. Additionally, the check-in queue seemed rather sluggish."

Ulemper: "I requested low fat meals. The first one, was OK. But they forgot my request for the second one."

Ulemper: "I was bumped off my flight and re-routed return to NYC. Flight was supposed to depart at 10:25am and flight they put me on left 1:05 Pm and the connection was not even Finnair, but Icelandic air. The Kayak site did not alert about extra charge for confirmed seat before I had paid in full ticket."
Fordele: "It was the best flight I’ve ever had. Friendly, polite and very careful crew. It was very pleasant to be on board. Clean, nice climate control, no any smell. The food was tasty and on time, the beverages were widely presented from juices to red and white wine or beer...so The time passed quickly"
Ulemper: "Only the other trip by air with Finair"
Fordele: "There wasn’t much to like. One of the crew members stood out by being helpful; his colleagues were bureaucratic and disengaged."
Ulemper: "This was a BA flight. Food in T3 in toronto was a disgrace, and the whole lounge experience was poor. The sleeping arrangements in business class had no privacy; the food onboard was mediocre. The Air CANADA flight on the same route is far better in every respect."

Ulemper: "The temperature during the flight made my experience very uncomfortable. It was way too cold. I know that it could get chilly at the board and do take warm clothes with me just in case, but this was way too cold. Neither blanket nor my stuff helped. Another thing - I was sitting in the raw 50, and at the 49th raw crew ran out of chicken with only pasta left. ))) This happens, I get it. I've had it actually happened to me before on British Airways flights too couple of times. So it's not too big of a deal. I just wish that pasta tasted better)))"

Ulemper: "This flight was delayed 5 and a half hours and did not arrive into Chicago until almost midnight."
Fordele: "Great crew, very helpful and kind. Helped me stow my banjo in a closet instead of under the plane wich really was great because of its value to me...great food and entertainment options made the trip fly by...hah....kinda freaked out by the whole black glove thing but maybe it's sexy, not sure."

Fordele: "Excellent service, professional service, good food that I did not have to pay for. Good flight, would take Finnair again."
Ulemper: "They answered my question professionally. As I disembarked the plane in Chicago I asked whether Finnair had armed guards. I was not detained, and was not questioned. The crew told me Finnair does not have them but I don't think they appreciated the question."
Ulemper: "Something that was unpleasant was if someone spoke through the announcement system it would be very loud through the headphones if someone is listening to a movie or music"
Fordele: "Felt captain on the original flight did everything he could"
Ulemper: "Boarded late, taxi' around for 3 and a half hours, deplaned as flight was canceled, waited 3 hours for next flight which was then cancelled. All understandable until the announced that the flight was reinstated only to be followed by an hour of the clerks unable to put people back on the flight which caused it to be cancelled. Sent to another airport except the free shuttle wasn't running, 50 dollar taxi ride later I got to sleep on the floor until the gates finally opened 5 hours later"
Ulemper: "It was n't their fault but My wife's passport expired in 91 days from beginning travel so they wouldn't let us on the plane to Italy."
Fordele: "That I made it safely to my destination. Updates from the cockpit were appreciated. Plane was nearly empty, so I was able to stretch out over severa seats."
Ulemper: "I haven't heard good things about American Airlines, and now I know why. Probably the oldest plane in the fleet. Entertainment was 2-3 fold down screens from the ceiling. I can't remember the last time I flew on a transatlantic fight with no entertainment- nearly 20 years ago I'm sure. Airplane food is never great, but food options were worse than normal. American Airlines customer service at JFK was horrendous, resulting in several passengers missing their flight. (I was there if 4 hours to spare, but had to wait 1hr+ to have my birthdate changed in the system.)"

Fordele: "The flight attendants actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, they all were very nice and smiled not like other airlines where the attendants are very stiff and anything you ask for seemed to annoy them. Drinks sizes more generous than most airlines."

Fordele: "Not bad as cross-ocean flights go, but cramped. The seats (and the available room per person) are what would be considered normal nowadays, but I remember flying thirty years ago. The crew was very pleasant and snacks were served (and appreciated), but didn't make up for the cramped conditions."

Ulemper: "Main course of chicken and rice was clearly on the small size for a 10+ hour flight. The chicken was in some vague sweet and sour sauce. It was a good thing that I had bought sandwiches before boarding. Return flight LHR to LAX was on BA and the main course of chicken and mashed potatoes was substantially larger and tastier."

Ulemper: "The crew was not as helpful as we hoped for. Did not help in finding a place for the luggage so, did not provide the secrurity paper to fill out. And was not necessarily friendly."

Ulemper: "entertainment on the A330 is so sluggish people think the screen is not working correctly pushing harder and harder on the screen making it uncomfortable for the people in front of them. Food is as usual: Not very healthy and always the same."

Fordele: "Everything was fantastic! I was upgraded to first class for the first time in my life so that was an added bonus. The crew were great, extremely friendly and attentive. Overall good experience."
Fordele: "On the way home i was awake for the whole flight, and found it to be quite good. Had trouble choosing my seat from early check in bit what I got was good. Good good, service great, clean and comfortable."
