Ulemper: "My luggage did not arrive on the flight from Frankfort to Athens. The Lost Luggage staff was very helpful, but the process took a long, long time. Then when my luggage arrived the next morning, no one was staffing the Gold kiosk, so it took another hour and a half to get my luggage. (We had received an email saying that the luggage would be available at 7:30; no one was there to provide it to us)"
Fordele: "Despite the short flight we were still given food and as always I love airline food. Free alcohol is always a bonus as well! Nice crew and timely take offs and landings. Could bring two hand luggage (backpack and suitcase) which I like even though I didn't have to pay extra!"

Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Ulemper: "The flight left with a slight delay. As I boarded, I was issued a new seat in the middle, as opposed to the window seat I had selected. There was zero explanation for this change. When I approached the flight attendants about it, with a smile on my end, I was offered the equivalent of a shrug. As I gave up, I was also informed there was no more room in the overhead bins, so not only did I end up sitting in the middle (which I loathe), but also with my carry-on under my feet. I’ve always been a fan of Lufthansa, but I’m a little disappointed this time around."

Unable to check-in online ahead of time for unknown reasons. Overall the Air Canada ground experience was pretty bad, but the crew/meals/entertainment was good."

When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

Ulemper: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."
"Special meal was good (Asian Vegetarian), but that was the only meal for 6 hours. Luckily I had eaten lunch at the airport before boarding at 13.40. And waiting about 2 hrs in flight before meal service. Tea and coffee was served together with the meal, but there wasn’t enough space on tray to have both the meal, the included tiny water bottle, the meal drinks and coffee/tea. Other airlines serve tea at the end of the meal. It was clear Etihad just wanted to get the meal service over with and minimize the service. This was the only time during 6 hrs that the staff showed themselves. Otherwise no pre dinner drinks of any kind, no follow-up serving of at least water This was really one of the most terrible meal and drink services I have ever experienced on - 6hr flight. The food itself was nice - due to special order. On the outbound flight (AUH - BRU) they did serve a meal and an extra snack. And followed up with several rounds of water. Shame on you Etihad for terrible service. The Dreamliner 781 is spacious in etihad’s economy configuration. Their 787 economy (AUH-BRU) was much more cramped!!"

Ulemper: "Communication of flight departure time was not provided causing us to miss our flight and requiring over 2 hours on a cell call to Bangladesh to book a 24 hr delay which was further confused by computer glitches. Poor customer service at the flight checkin desk in Kathmandu who are, apparently, limited in what they can assist with."

I was able to indicate my seat preference but there was no followup. When I checked in online 24 hours before my flight, the only option for seats was in the middle, which I did not want, although I I knew the flight would not be full. I was able to change seats when I checked in with the agent in the airport ."

This meant that, despite having booked months before and making numerous attempts to complete web check in, my wife and I would have been placed in the centre two seats of a block of 4 seats. I was somehow selected by the airplane for an upgrade flying to Bangkok which even elevate all of my experiences above. A great layover program definitely recommended!!!"
Ulemper: "Flight attendants in the economy class could be more attentive and walk around more frequently to check up passengers needs and passing out waters. Need more care to the food sanitation especially open water because I had later diarrhea after drinking it. Could be more organized for lining up different seating zones onto the flight, also seat arrangement is a bit off because bothe times I was asked to switch seats for couples and families w kids."

The flight crew kept the restrooms clean, which can be quite a task on long flights. If Etihad is an option in my future travels, I will likely prefer them over other carriers."

Fordele: "I had the opportunity of flying The Apartment from Abu Dhabi to JFK. It was one of the most incredible first class cabin experiences ever. The experience starts when boarding the aircraft and you are personally escorted to your seat and introduced to the several features around you. The space is ample and the cabin has some privacy doors making it feel very exclusive. There is a large couch across the seat which later is converted into a bed. I was offered pijamas and a small closet to hang my clothes right before take off. Once on the air our personal chef introduced himself and explained the different dishes from the menu. I was able to try the steak and the lamb biryani; both were superb. The IES provided a decent selection of western and some middle eastern films as well as a few live news channels. After I woke up our flight attendant explained the on board shower which is also a distinctive feature allowing to feel refreshed before landing. I had another meal before landing which included an appetizer, and entree and a dessert made with roses. The crew was nothing but fantastic and I would love to fly with them again."
Ulemper: "I was not told what airline lounge I should use at JFK, but the only regret I had was not being able to take a longer flight..."
Ulemper: "The seats on the 777-333 model in economy class are the WORST I have ever experienced. Extensive neck and back paid from cramped and poorly designed seats. You are going to start losing passengers, including this one who will switch airlines. A glass of wine was so cheap and acidic I found myself running to the bathroom within 15 minutes. The food was horrible. Goodbye Etihad--I can do better."
