Ulemper: "Flight delayed due to technical issues, boarding crew said there was a hole in the plane and that it might be canceled. After a long delay we finally tookoff. Plane was very cramped and very little room for the legs. Food and entertainment were average and fine."

Ulemper: "I fly this route around 6 times a year and the planes get older and older. wish they would update the aircrafts on this route at some point"
Ulemper: "Swiss Air allowed us to book a flight with 45 minutes to connect. First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."
Fordele: "Swiss air Business is an excellent choice. I will fly this Airline again. It was extremely comfortable, service was excellent, and the flight crew made up our lost time in the air. We had a tight connection and they waited for us."

Fordele: "I treated myself to Swiss Business (for a second time) for this trip and it was terrific. From the comfortable seats, the fabulous dinner, the outstanding Swiss staff from the baggage check to the wonderful flight attendants, the flight to Zürich and the return trip to Boston was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Swiss. I would love to be able to fly Swiss Business again when I travel to Zürich in September 2019."

Fordele: "Mobile check in worked well. Onboard service is very good, with decent food and complimentary beverages including beer and wine. Seats are relatively comfortable. Extensive selection of TV and movie entertainment."
Ulemper: "Boarding was a bit helter skelter. It’s a rather annoying that selecting seats is only available for an extra fee. The A340s used on this route are getting a little on the old side, and the once state of the art in seat entertainment system has a tendency to crash frequently and require lengthy reboots."

Ulemper: "Seats. They were extremely too small and tight. Made very hard to move or try to sleep during the long flight. I think they definitely need to be wider. Hard to sit side by side with others. Had to keep my arms in front of me or I would be pushing the other person. I know all airlines are pretty much the same...but it shouldn’t be."

Fordele: "Not very much to like. No effort to enhance customer service, accommodate customer needs. I fly a lot of regional and international airlines, was truly underwhelmed."
Ulemper: "I landed at Zurich airport at 6am with an 11 hour wait and tried to get onto an earlier us bound flight. The ground crew were awful and rude!. The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."
Fordele: "The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation."
Fordele: "Unlike some airlines the cabin crew is professional in appearance and behavior- courteous and pleasant. My husband and I enjoy the fact that ski equipment is taken without additional charge. The direct flight to Zurich is very convenient."

Ulemper: "We had to Run from our arrival gate to our departure gate, and take a train, and go through immigration and then a second documents check. It looked to me like Swiss Air knew we were running close as the flight rarely (if ever) leaves on time. It was stressful for us and for the 30+ others who were still in line in immigration when the flight time passed. It turned out to not be a problem but the published times are unrealistic. Seats were tight and comfort in cattle class is NON Existent sleep on an 8 hour flight was not even possible."
Fordele: "EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME BEFORE THE PLANE EVEN TOOK OFF!! My flights somehow got real messed up and everything down to my luggage had to be input manually. I wasn't sure if it was going to make it with me to the final destination. But it did! The head rest blew me away just as i sat. I love to know I can fall asleep and not have neck problems. And everything from the movies to the service to the food was great! My first international yet BEST experience in economy class was all worth it!"
Ulemper: "The space for each seat was much too small, especially for the long uncomfortable flight. Seats also uncomfortable to sit on."
Fordele: "They are the best airline flying to Boston."
Fordele: "Friendly service. Efficient. More leg room than most other airlines. Decent entertainment. Decent food."

Fordele: "We were very impressed by our flight with Swiss. The staff speaks impeccable English, there is much more leg room than on flights with American companies, and it is so pleasant to get pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including wine), snacks and 2 meals on our international flight and not feel nickle and dimed the way we do now on domestic flights."

Ulemper: "Because there was no way for us to check in early or online and they did not send us an email directing us to do so, they put us on standby even though the flights were paid for months before. We couldn't sit together--they wouldn't even try, they let the computer do it randomly as we boarded. They put my son through ridiculous strip search security measures, and when my passport fell into to the steel bullet of a garbage can, they didn't help and my son and I figure out how to go through it to get my passport. They could not have been more unhelpful. Plus the food was terrible, and delays both in taking off and getting to the gate. I will NEVER fly Swiss Air again."
Ulemper: "Provided headphones are horrible and headphone jack only puts out mono when used with a regular set of headphones."

Ulemper: "The seats reclined a little too far, or the screens didn't tilt enough. End result being when the passenger in front reclines, it's hard to view the screen at a comfortable angle. This wasn't a huge problem for me, but a taller passenger would be rendered unable to watch anything on the in-seat entertaniment system if the person in front of them was reclined."

Fordele: "Decent food, for airline food. I didn't starve for the 8 hours, and the included beer/wine/spirits helps a lot. Entertainment system was enough to help pass the time. This flight had USB chargers...had I known, I would have loaded up my mobile with watchable entertainment."
Ulemper: "It's still a cattle car for coach travel. Boarding was hectic. Called all passengers at once, which resulted in a crowd pushing to get through the two checkpoints all at once."

Ulemper: "Seats were horrible for a transcontinental flight. I was squirming before the first hour of an 8 hour flight. Touchscreen of entertainment system was frustrating. Sometimes it responded other times not. Lunch tasted good but the snack, a calzone, was pretty bad."
Ulemper: "Would have been 5 stars overall if not for two hours of a child kicking me seat and occasionally poking my arm."
Fordele: "Upgraded to business class. Very professional and attentive crew."
Ulemper: "At the check-in gate there was pandemonium. It was not clear how to proceed. The lines were long and disorderly. Since I had passed through passport control, I didn't think I would need to go through again just before boarding. I was in line, ready to have my boarding pass scanned when I was told I needed to have my passport checked! I had to step out of line, go back and get my passport checked, then go back in line to board! I could not get an assigned seat until I got to Zurich. I needed an aisle seat (I had a bladder infection and would need to use the toilet often). It was left up to me to negotiate with my neighbor to switch seats--- the crew would not help at all. I was cramped in my seat. The man in front of me put his chair too far back; I was difficult to work on my laptop with so little room between me and the table. The snack was horrible---uncooked, tasteless calzone and ice cream."
Fordele: "The staff was friendly and accommodating. I LOVE that we were given ice cream and chocolate - only wish I'd been given more chocolate. They came by with drinks often and made sure that we were well hydrated."
Ulemper: "The boarding process took a long time. I had to go through customs, then at the gate they checked my passport again and the line was VERY long. The process just did not seem to be managed very well. There were issues with the tv monitors; however, the crew handled it very well. I wish we had been given an option with the calzones - I don't like red peppers or tomatoes, and was not offered another option."

Ulemper: "It was ridiculously cold for 2 1/2 hours. When my seat mate asked for a blanket, the stewardess said she only had one more - then walked off. For drinks, they skipped several people. I had to catch her eye to ask for one and then ask her to get my kids a drink in front of me."
Fordele: "The crew was super friendly and professional. Enjoyed the reworked safety message before take-off."
Ulemper: "The Comfort+ seat, while it had plenty of leg room in front, had a small width-box that many Americans (being larger than perhaps they should be) will find extremely uncomfortable at best, and unable to fit in at worst."

Fordele: "This was my daughter’s first solo travel home from college. She said the staff was helpful and kind. She loved that the flight was not over crowded. It was a smooth flight."
Ulemper: "Only negative thing she could say was her flight was delayed an hour. But that isn’t terrible considering all the holiday travelers."
Ulemper: "Wheelchair shortage on arrival, although I had one reserved. Waited for a while then walked. Not ideal. Very long wait for bus to rental car center."
Ulemper: "We thought we were flying AirFrance as our emails came from them and were surprised to learn after waiting in the AirFrance baggage drop queue for 30 mins that we were in the wrong place."

Ulemper: "The flight numbers that Kayak provides ate not unusable and do not match any flights with the airline. Terribly inconvenient. A call to WestJest referred me to contact Delta. The Delta rep was able to help me. The airlines provided good service. But I probably will avoid booking with Kayak again."

Fordele: "I am always impressed by the Delta staff. Top notch."
Ulemper: "The entertainment screens have an (older) head phone jack that many people do not have. The headphones available for purchase by the airline are of very poor quality. I also am surprised that airlines (not just Delta) continue to provide such low quality food options on flights. I think consumers would pay more for better options."

Fordele: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."
Fordele: "About 10-15 yrs ago I stopped transatlantic flights on Delta. It was a scruffy airline with uninterested cabin crew & not to talk of food etc. What a change! Neat clean A330, friendly crew & food + beverages to brag (you pay outrageous prices on 'leaner-meaner' airlines if at all available). Loved the whole experience. Flying is not only getting from A to B & Delta has realized it. Looking forward to my next Delta flight!"

Ulemper: "Priority boarding was messed-up - no queue discipline was even attempted by the gate staff. The business class seats were uncomfortable and not comfortable to sleep in. The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation."

Ulemper: "This’s the worse airlines that I ever use in my life, in my way back to Boston I get to the airport 2 and half hours before my flight, it was so crowded outside the door, so I didn’t get to check in till like an hour and 10 minutes, Guess what! They didn’t let me in because they close the gate they said?? They have me payed for another thicket to I take the next flight They are so weird, even when you called the customers service they will do nothing for you, like they don’t live in our planet!! Trust me stay away from this turkish airlines"

Ulemper: "Flying from Barcelona to get a flight to Boston from Istanbul was a mistake on our part. We saved money but were awake for more than 34 hours"

Ulemper: "Turkish airlines in Istanbul this last trip was the most disorganized and rudest I've yet to experience. They were incredibly disorganized and unhelpful. It was 5am with hoards of people waiting just to go through a tiny security because they closed the entrance for international transfers. No lines and direction whatsoever. It took two hours just to go through simple sercurity. My flight gate, number, and info to Boston was not even posted on the departure screen so I almost missed my flight- I had to go multiple times across the airport to find anyone to ask. The employees were rude and unhelpful. They did not assist or direct anyone or any of the chaos and they were slow and lacked any understanding to people whose flight was ten minutes till take off. Fordele: "I liked the idea of offering a tour of Istanbul during long connections that Turkish airlines offer. The tour that I went on was a 2.5 hour bus ride with sightseeing from the window mostly - still it was very nice. The people organizing passengers in groups for the tour in the airport however were not so nice. When I said "I have a question", the guy literally ROLLED HIS EYES at me."
Ulemper: "The crew was somewhat rude and unwelcoming, both in the plane and on the ground. The seat is not comfortable in comparison with other transatlantic flights - somehow the crew and the seats were so much better on my connecting TK flight within Europe."

She got very scared and very upset for what you guys did . She is an old lady and it was one of her worst experiences of her life"

Ulemper: "The boarding process could have been more organized. I had a business class ticket and could not find the priority boarding line. The first ground crew member I asked was abrupt and sent me to the back of the long line. I caught the attention of a different crew member and he motioned me to the front of the line--it was a little awkward saying "excuse me" to each person that I passed. (I am not used to being a priority passenger!) Once my documents were cleared and my carry-on was inspected at the gate, it was not clear whether to take a seat or to go somewhere else."

Ulemper: "I was told in Vienna that I would be allowed to carry my Kindle onto my flight from Istanbul to the USA. I was not able to and had to wait in a very long line both in Istanbul and in the US. I understand the change in regulations, but it is important that all employees of Turkish airlines are aware of the change. We also waited one hour on the runway in Istanbul. Additionally, there was a small section of the plane which received food roughly an hour later than the rest of the plane. I was on this section, and was uncomfortably hungry by the time I received food."

Unfortunately, there were several customer service disappointments, from forgetting to include dessert with my and my daughter's meals to being made to wait nearly an hour for the interactive screen to be reset. And not a sincere apology or effort to resolve the problem."

Sit down to stares. Without doing anything So begins the ogling Not for beauty or glasses But because of his right to look in any direction he pleases. The drink cart comes by Soft drinks only Stuttered English behind Only a sweet belch of coca cola Released, bubbling an unfettered expression shared across all languages. (but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city."

Ulemper: "I asked for sugar 3x before finally getting it (1 hour), but by then the coffee was cold and I had to request a new one and wait another 10 mins :)"
Fordele: "The entertainment choices were quite good. Flights arrived more or less on time."
Ulemper: "Our departure flight (BOS-IST) was changed 6 weeks after our booking, so our 2.5-hour layover became 10 hours. This happened before in my past experience with Turkish Airlines. There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight."

Ulemper: "Not every one can follow the speed of the way you announce things, remember your flight take people from different continents in the world Also not having some where to sit while waiting for the information of which gate to go it is very challenging. The AC was almost killing the older people not me but the older lady sat next to me complained all the time but it didn't work. I know it is the challenge difficult to solve however you can give them some advise. Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Tall, well dressed, middle aged Italian gentleman beside me on aisle seat talking on his phone from boarding until we started to accelerate for takeoff. I had to ask him to shut his phone off twice. Staff not looking out for phone use. Then he was receiving text as we landed in Boston and never even bothered to put on his seat belt. Again staff did not notice. I travel a lot and normally air crew notice these things. Booked to carry skis via the Lufthansa US call center and was told there was a special offer and they were free for US bound flights. This was great news as I had assumed I had to pay. On bag check-in the associate told me they had booked them as golf clubs not skis. She also did not agree skis were free and spent 15 minutes reading the details of the contract and talking with an associate. She was polite but firm about it and I had to pay Euro100 to get them checked in."

Ulemper: "I have ordered Wheelchair for my parents which one of my parent didn't get it on Mumbai Airport. When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."
