Fastidiously weighing and forcing mutiple repacks of carry-on bags even though well under total limit of checked & carry. (Doha agent told me dfferent rules appied for carrry on 2nd plane even though I asked specifically frm original agent who checked me thru to final dest--insisted I check main carry on even though there turned out to be plenty of overhead room on board). Poor coordination of checkin lines, security lanes, and flow of people -- all fixable with a little forethought, engineering, and better utilization of circulation space -- and much clearer communication!"

Ulemper: "I was annoyed that I could not put my carry on items in the bin above my seat. I was in front of the bulkhead so there was no other place to store my items except the overhead bin and the flight attendant took the space in my bin for some baby items she thought she might need for another passenger. I had to store my personal items away from my seat."

After my carry on was weighed , my personal bag where I had my essentials and medications were included in the total weight of carry ons. I ended up paying for overweight. Ulemper: "There was no leg room at all in economy. My knees were in the seat of the person in front of me. Most of the food was terrible and I only ate the bread. The TV is on the back of the seat in front of you and is a touch screen. You have to touch pretty hard. So, every time the person behind me was scrolling, they had to hit my seat."

However when I arrived to my seat I was told that there is a handicap person in my room and I can't sit there and was offered a seat in the back of the plane. Yes of course I understand and wouldn't want to move a handicap person to get to my seat but at the same time I believe the seat assignment fee which I paid in advance should be refunded."

I was provided with the hotel voucher when I enquiried about the delay but the staff did not give me enough information how to get to the hotel. He seems so caught up with other stuff. I was standing there clueless. The sceen on entertainment unit was too dark and the buttons were not working properly on the screen."

We probably booked our domestic flight a bit too close to the landing of the international flight, and unfortunately, the flight was 25 minutes delayed, but Thai helped us get off the plane as the first people and we made our domestic flight, with a few minutes to spare. Thanks for the help and we will make sure to have a little better time between our flights in the future."

Ulemper: "The air in the cabin was too cold during the first hour of the flight. Obviously many passengers were not comfortable and asking for blankets. Later, the crew must had adjusted the temperature and it was basically steaming hot because the it was only hot air blowing out from centralized air system. I would say, very uncomfortable during the entire flight from Bangkok to Manila."

Ulemper: "My seat back wouldn't lock in place. Every time I would move or lean, the seat back would shift. My phone and book wouldn't stay in the pocket in front of me. They would fall out of the bottom and onto the floor. I love Thai food, but food on the flight was not good at all; bland and unappetizing. My foot became pinched hard against the food cart during meal service."

Fordele: "All personnel were excellent and very congenial and helpful in every way. It is so nice to experience full service at a time when many airline nes are cutting service."
Ulemper: "There were very few directions given for boarding so it wasn't clear when we could go on board. Food was good but a little bland. Let me say again, the service of the food was excellent and made the overall experience five-star. Thank you."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Fordele: "The food and beverage selection, as well as the service in business class was excellent. Initially I dreaded the long layover of 8 hours. But I found the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge. It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."
Ulemper: "The business class seating is old and not as comfortable as the newer herring bone configurations. Privacy could be improved."
Fordele: "Great short flight and we even received a meal as well as free headphones."

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."
Fordele: "I sat on the right side of the plane this time and I was more comfortable than last time where my seat did not recline. Food was great and this crew picked up the dishes much quicker than my first flight"
Ulemper: "I asked for white wine and lady gives me red. Then I asked for the correct one and felt an attitude only then confirmed when I rang the attendant button it took them 18 minutes, yes, I counted to come to my seat. Then I asked for another drink. This lady was not as nice as the rest of the crew and I observed. I'm sorry but I'm flying 13 hours I will be asking for things."

Fordele: "The crew was friendly and the flight wasnt delayed, nor were my bags lost."
Ulemper: "The seat next to me had two kids sitting in it. The seats are only supposed to have one person per seat. So they we also halfway in my seat also."
Fordele: "There were great entertainment options, which is really important for such a long haul flight."
Ulemper: "They had assigned the same seat to me and somebody else, and the other person was already sitting in the seat when I got there. The only other available seat was in business class, and although the flight attendant later admitted I should have been given that business class seat, the other person successfully argued to take it. Staff are good though not as friendly as most Asian airlines."
Fordele: "Helpful crew. Screens for entertainment and information at each seat."
Ulemper: "Both meals were penne pasta, as was the previous flight's. Should be more varied."

Ulemper: "In contrast to my former experiences at different airports in Zurich, Boston and Istanbul, the check-in staff at Tabriz airport were really rude and non-cooperative. I had hard time checking in and my belongings inside my back pack was rejected due to less than 1 kilo excess weight. The behavior was unacceptable. I might reconsider taking Turkish flights from smaller airports in future, or taking it at all."
Ulemper: "Seat room was small for me and hard to get comfortable. More leg room needed. Also Overhead compartments filled too fast and no room for my carry on."
Fordele: "The crew was proffessonal. On flight to Cape Town from Istanbul the chef on board made was really nice. I ordered a chlid meal only to find out that it was not on the list. My son wasnt very happy with it though. Althought, the chef on board insured me that she will have a look into it...Oh well ! not a big deal ."
Ulemper: "Fight back to Incheon, Seoul was 3 seated. Really uncomfortable, just hoped the passenger I sat next to didn`t get annoyed with my son having to go to the bathroom quite a lot! The only problem was the long layover. The only reason why I opted for the long stopover of 20 hrs because I was told that we will receive hotel accommodation on our arrival, however that did not materialize...very disappointing. Instead we were given free meal tickets. I was totally disgust !!!"

Special meal was good (Asian Vegetarian), but that was the only meal for 6 hours. Luckily I had eaten lunch at the airport before boarding at 13.40. And waiting about 2 hrs in flight before meal service. Tea and coffee was served together with the meal, but there wasn’t enough space on tray to have both the meal, the included tiny water bottle, the meal drinks and coffee/tea. Other airlines serve tea at the end of the meal. It was clear Etihad just wanted to get the meal service over with and minimize the service. This was the only time during 6 hrs that the staff showed themselves. Otherwise no pre dinner drinks of any kind, no follow-up serving of at least water This was really one of the most terrible meal and drink services I have ever experienced on - 6hr flight. The food itself was nice - due to special order. On the outbound flight (AUH - BRU) they did serve a meal and an extra snack. And followed up with several rounds of water. Shame on you Etihad for terrible service. The Dreamliner 781 is spacious in etihad’s economy configuration. Their 787 economy (AUH-BRU) was much more cramped!!

Ulemper: "No proper entertainment on board which would have been fine if the cost of the flight was less.. but considering other airlines provide better entertainment for the same route and less expensive tickets makes its not ok."

Ulemper: "Same Boeing 777 being used for several years now Seats were very uncomfortable . I advice ettihad should use A380 for these 14 hour flights for more comfortable experience of the passengers."

Ulemper: "Horrible and disorganized service crew. Went without food for 2 of three service seasons as they forgot a whole section to service. Had to repeatedly ask and in one case finally got something to eat 40 mins later. Poor sequence of beverage and food service."

Ulemper: "They were out of vegetarian sandwiches and don't substitute it with anything else. They should be extra careful with vegetarian options. Meal quality can improve a bit in general."
