Ulemper: "waited for 2 hours upon immigration clearance, not sure what was the issue. ground handling only updated there was a delay. baggage didn't get loaded onto carousel until 2 hours after landing. horrible"

Firstly the flight was delayed, these things happen but nevertheless I end up missing my connecting Qatar flight to Belgrade, put into a horrible little hotel for 24hrs without my bag, no clothes or toiletries. At one point during the flight once everyone had their chairs reclined one hostess told me to not put mine so far back?!?! Then when asked well then person in front of me has to move theirs forward and her response no they don’t. Absolutely shocking. To think I wanted to upgrade to business class. I’m traveling the globe over the next year and thought let me try Qatar but never again with this type of service and how they treat their customers."

Ulemper: "Screaming babies, obese people sat next to me, water rationing, not a pleasant experience. Arrived sleep deprived and dehydrated. I have much better experiencs on a visit to Australia - this was my third time this year!"
Fordele: "Of all the flights and airlines I have used this was definitely the top of my list . The aircraft was clean , the crew were polite, curious, and attentive nothing was too much trouble. The food looked good tasted good and was plentiful. The pyjama were a nice added touch and very comfortable for the long flight. Flying into Cardiff airport was so good for my intended destination. I would certainly recommend them to others and many airlines could learn from their example.Well done and thank you"

Fordele: "Service is great, planes were on time or only minimal delay. Wifi access, food is pretty descent, blanket and pillow plus small package with toothbrush. Stewardess very friendly and helpful!"
Fordele: "Good crew, fair choice of food and drinks and served whenever you want it. Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Ulemper: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

Ulemper: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Ulemper: "No European movies in English at all, very disappointing for someone who is not into latest Hollywood ( silly) movies and doesn’t want to watch Bollywood or Chinese ones(( The “ dinner” food was barely edible, both from Singapore to Doha and from Copenhagen to Doha."

Ulemper: "When flying from New Zealand to Doha, we departed Auckland at 15h25 and due to the time zone, most passengers body clocks would have been expecting sleep within a few hours. However we were flying West and thus into daylight. Sadly the window seated passengers were not asked to close their window blinds to block out the sunlight and many were left open. This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

Ulemper: "headrest is no rest at all, very uncomfortable as it does not adjust other then up or down."
Fordele: "I appreciated the friendly and always service minded staff. The plane was clean and I enjoyed good leg room. I was happy with the menus and the film selection was entertaining and current. All over a great experience and I would not hesitate to choose Qatar again."

Fordele: "I enjoyed my flight,it was a smooth trip from Doha to Manila, the Cabin Crew received adequate training on taking care of people, as a professional nurse who is use to taking care of others ,I see someone else looking after me and I really appreciate their efforts. Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Fordele: "Cold meal was nice, standard business class, no amenities. Nice crew, welcome on board."
Ulemper: "The crew was in a constant hurry after. The meal was ok, but no cocktails served. Tablet was not working remotely, it has to be connected to the dock all the time. USB port was also not working, did not charge my phone. I’m glad that we did not buy the business upgrade for his flight before. It would felt wasting all our points. Luckily we were upgraded during check in. Check in was awful, they checked in 4 people in front of us roughly in 20 minutes in MLE. It felt like waiting for forever."

Ulemper: "I didn’t like the airport in Dubai. Cleaners locked all the disabled toilets. I walked to 3 of them. Very difficult to use normal toilet and having to leave your baby & carry on outside when traveling alone!"

Ulemper: "I bought a return from Emirates with the returning flight from Australia to London as a code share with Qantas. Qantas does not honour the e-ticekts from Emirates and will NOT allow you to preselect seats online. You have to hope for a good seat at airport checkin. Too bad, as I would have been prepared to pay extra for a seat upgrade."

Ulemper: "They should be little flexible in timing for serving Dinner, as it happened, they served Dinner as soon as the Seat belt sign was switched off, at that time it was 4 pm local time. Since we were not ready for Dinner we suggested to bring it after an hour, which they declined stating that once they take back the trays it can not be served again."

Ulemper: "Flight from Istanbul to Mumbai was not that great. Leg space was not that great. Food overall was pretty same across the 3 meals. Expect more variety which I have seen on other airlines like Emirates and Etihad."

Ulemper: "The passenger next to me in the middle was hitting his arm rest on my leg and made my flight uncomfortable because he would not sit still. I think crew needs to do a better job of making sure everyone stays seated when the plane is still moving before jumping out of their seats and grabbing their luggage. Passengers should be able to exit out of more than one door same as entering."

Ulemper: "I was served Butter chicken after confirming with the flight attendant whether it was an ASIAN VEG MEAL which I had requested. On being confronted about the issue, the flight attendant gave a cold response saying they were out of asian veg meals. One of the worse airlines and should not be a part of Star Alliance."
Fordele: "Nice plane , nice crew. Ok food , not as good as Sfo to Ist ."
Ulemper: "We left delayed as it seemed they were waiting for someone. Older 777 wich shows wear."
Ulemper: "Too warm, chaotic boarding, not enough baggage space, airline couldn’t upgrade me at the gate with miles."
Fordele: "I like that the FAs gave us all the things needed for a comfortable flight...thanks."
Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."
Ulemper: "I sent my old grandparents trusted them to take care of them but they were treated very badly and had a horrible trip"

Ulemper: "Seat adjustments were not working on both seats in the Houston- Istanbul segment!!"

Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "gate was announced at the last minute, and within 5 or 10 minutes of the announcement, the plane was boarding. the boarding process was not handled well. the entire hallway leading to several gates was blocked off for checking boarding passes and passports. it was not at all clear what was going on. no explanations were offered, and there was a huge crowd stuck in the hallway."
Fordele: "Overall the experience was good. Cabin crew helpful."
Ulemper: "while going to US from Mumbai -Wheelchair service at Istanbul was found unsatisfactory. The attendanct was unfriendly adamant and rude. overall the wheel chair persons were neglected by the airlines (even at Boston ) but the cabin crew took care of all wheel chair persons."
Ulemper: "Boarding at Ataturk Istanbul airport was happening randomly. They did not follow the group boarding like in IAD airport."
Fordele: "Flight time Prices Service"
Ulemper: "I was in the middle seat next to a very big man. His belly and arm was spilling over to my seat. I could not even pull out my food tray from inside the arm rest. Had to eat with my food on my lap. Throughout the long flight his arm on my side and his elbow was hurting me."
Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."
Ulemper: "Departure is 4 hours late. Missed connecting flight at Istanbul. Asked us to pay for Visa to stay in hotel. Did not have money. Also forgot to take Credit card from USA. As per the rule Airlines has to pay for Visa. They never paid. Asked us to pay. Totally harassment. Never book Turkish Airlines in my remaining whole life. Also will this incident to all my friends after going back to USA. Very very bad experience. Sat down 24 hours at Airport without food and sleep. Mostly will file a case against Airlines."

Ulemper: "My flight was cancelled without any notification and a choice to reschedule."
Fordele: "same as my experience to Istabul, ths was a connecting flight, I saw their Ad in their inflight magazine, didn't know they were rated #1 6 years in a row. Was pleasantly surprised on how good they were. Comfortable seats, excellent on board service, food better than average, pleasant and professional staff. Try them, you won't be disappointed"
Fordele: "Excellent STAR lounge in Istanbul Good service, once settled. Friendly staff."
Ulemper: "On line check-in system does not remember frequent flier info. Passport check at gate was poorly managed. Everyone was in waiting area then told to get out and stand in line for passport check. It happened each time so this seems to be their normal process. On flight back they bused us to the airplane and waited for all three buses to arrive at the airplane before allowing anyone to board. Flight attendants helped with moving carry on bags in bins but with little consideration to the items. Completely unorganized boarding process to the point it is worth paying a little more to fly a different airline."
Fordele: "Flight itself was comfortable even though it was very full. Good, well maintained airplane. Great pillow and blanket. Somewhat hard seat. Love the newspapers they give us to read - what a selection."
Ulemper: "Istanbul airport really lacks seating for its passengers in the general areas. You need to sit in a restaurant to rest your feet as waits are quite long between flights. Another problem is the lack of internet for passengers without Turkish cell accounts. This should be corrected. Finally, lack of water fountains in the airport is also a problem."
Fordele: "Great Food, adequate seating, helpful staff, efficient boarding"
Ulemper: "The airplane was a really warm temperature when we boarded."

Fordele: "I am always pleased with Turkish Airlines service and I love that they still give the little extras. It makes me feel more comfortable and the earplugs are always welcome!"

Ulemper: "The seat next to me had two kids sitting in it. The seats are only supposed to have one person per seat. So they we also halfway in my seat also."

Ulemper: "Change the aircraft. Give us new aircraft or at least inform passengers this is old aircraft so we don't book. Premium economy price was very high. No service. Entertainment tv 4inc which doesn't work. Seats uncomfortable. It's better to travel will Emirates.i have no words why did I travel in BA."
Ulemper: "Plane was late taking off, Crew did not provide water when requested. They were busy with beverages that they could sell at a cost."

Fordele: "My flight with Qantas was late and I missed the flight, they refused to move me to a later flight even though I had a paid ticket!"

Ulemper: "The seats on our return leg were much more cramped & did not have as much legroom as the outbound flight. There were no meals available for me that did not contain cheese. There were not sufficient choices of spirits & we were only offed a drink once in the flight. I have flown with BA for 30 years now. This was absolutley the worst flight I have been on."
Ulemper: "Flight was cancelled after boarding us and letting us sit on the plane on the rollway for 2 hours."
Fordele: "Crew very attentive Boarding but only because flight was empty. Normally it’s a disaster."

Fordele: "Friendly staff that helped me change seat after I landed in a middle seat."
Ulemper: "Food is bad. Did not like it one bit. Entertainment too limited, expected more from BA (particularly in the music area). Feels more.like a budget airline! Maybe London airport problem, but both flights from London (at the start of holiday and at the end) were delayed. Nearly missed my connecting flight to NZ. Overall: Resent experience with BA and London Heathrow airport was to the extend that my future travel won't be with BA nor through London airport."

Ulemper: "Food - my dog wouldn’t eat it, Entertainment - woeful same movie just different title, Late again they must specialise in being late"
Ulemper: "1,5 hr delay. No effort from the cabin crew to compensate for delay. Just stuck in our seats for 1 hr waiting for the airline to be cleared for take off. Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."
Ulemper: "No free non-alcoholic drinks. Everything at a fee. Remote gate in LHR."
Fordele: "It has to be said, the prices were good. But you do get what you pay for...… (in my case, a lot of extra time and stress)"
Ulemper: "Firstly Kayak is apparently actually LastMinute.Com? BA flight was OK, but not much different from a low-cost airline. Return leg had to be Ryanair and online check-in didn't work (ouch! - you have to pay extra to check in at the airport). I eventually found out (after frantic googling) that Kayak auto-generates an email address for you as part of the Ryanair booking process, and this is the one you need. I spent about 30 mins getting through to LM.Com overseas helpdesk trying to get hold of it. I also had to request hold baggage as a separate process and it took 10 days to confirm this had been arranged (again, I would have had to pay extra at the airport)."

Ulemper: "The bag drop off was awful, we queued 3 times and every time we got to the front the machine stopped working. Not enough staff to help solve the computer issues as there was one member of staff across all the drop in machines. Very frustrating to have to continually join new queues."

Ulemper: "Arrived pm from manchester stayed in hotel at heathrow to fly out following day to Basel at 8am. BA would not check bag all way through. Seems they only do this at Gatwick. Poor service from Heathrow/BA"
Fordele: "Crew was very attentive and food and drink good as on most flight to and from City Airport. Seats very comfortable compared to main fleet. City Flyer is still worth paying the extra which most flight by main fleet ex Heathrow or Gatwick are not."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed and boarding not great as we were kept waiting in a hot bus outside the aircraft for 15 minutes"

Ulemper: "Overpriced. 90 minutes late departure due to “late inbound aircraft”. Uncomfortable seats - in “Club Europe”. Abysmal food - what would be an economy snack in a decent airline. Really, don’t bother with BA. It’s Ryanair with better livery."

Ulemper: "For some reason we were boarded and ready to go and only then did they think to send for a de-icer. A 40 minute delay on a 1 hour flight. At the other end we then had to wait 20 mins to get off."
Ulemper: "Poor legroom with large entertainment boxes taking up valuable space under the seat. Armrests do not lift all the way up - only go 45 degrees which is useless if sitting next to your partner and want some more room!"
Fordele: "Flight was safe and not cancelled."
Ulemper: "BA needs to adopt the Ryanair policy of limiting the number of carry-on bags allowed on board. BA needs to work better on cabin maintenance. Some reading lights did not work. Ryanair cabin crew are nowadays polite and cheerful. BA crew seem stressed depressed and defensive."
Fordele: "Choice of inflight entertainment"
Ulemper: "Crew couldn’t serve hot drinks, focussed on clearing trays!"
Fordele: "Nothing in particular but it was positive."
Ulemper: "It was quite crowded but still fine. I would have appreciated a snack and a drink but this is not a reason to be disappointed."
Ulemper: "The food was served twice on the flight, but was almost the same kind of menu."

Ulemper: "I called them for luggage I have I can take 20 3KG in the end in the airport I haw to pay for my language"
Fordele: "I like that I could book seats for my son and I in advance of check out We are both 6 foot 4 and leg room in Economy is tight I got us seat beside the emergency exit"
Ulemper: "I found the extra cost exorbitant - OK I did pay it but for the two od us it was much more than I expected"
