Fordele: "The boarding process was easy and straightforward, the seats were comfortable and had individual entertainment screens, the crew was very polite and helpful. For meals, everyone was given a printed menu at the start of the flight so that meal options could be easily made."
Ulemper: "My only complaint is that I would have liked to see more frequent offers for water refills during the flight, since water cups are so small and staying well hydrated on flights is difficult but essential."

Ulemper: "The service was beyond awful! The Flight Attendants had a “could care less” attitude. I had special ordered a meal, and they gave me the wrong one. I did not want to make a big deal, so I just ate it. Then they did not offer any beverages when the meal came! I literally had to beg them to make me their famous “Singapore sling”. Shocking really!!. When I had my coffee, my request for cream and sugar went ignored THREE times. Finally they grudgingly gave me only cream, rendering my coffee undrinkable. .....And the list goes on. Never ever will I travel on this horrid airline again!"

Fordele: "Check in and boarding were flawless. The flight left about one hour late. The seats in coach are getting smaller and smaller. I got an aisle seat to have a little extra room (I'm 6'1") only to get hit big time by the food cart (they did apologize). The food was plentiful, but mediocre at best. The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

Ulemper: "We were supposed to fly back to Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24th. We got to Tokyo Narita a little later than planned due to the Narita Express train being delayed. I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding."

Also, the only male guy in the crew was trying to solve some meal issues and was trying to tell the hostess how not to tell the passenger!! All of it could be easily conveyed discreetly but he seemed to be least bothered!"

Ulemper: "In the B10 gate of Doha airport are only 15 chairs and we were around 100 persons waiting to open the gate. It was uncomfortable In the flight Doha Phuket wi-fi did not work in the first economy sector. It was a big problem to us, it was necessary to go in the second part of the economy sector to stay over the wifi. The crew did not solve the issue."

Ulemper: "The seats on the 777-300ER were tiny compared to the seats on the A380 from JFK to dubai. My wife and I are both small people and we were cramped. This is very unfair to us and even so to larger people on such a long leg The entertainment screens were also very poor. Small, low res"

Ulemper: "The plane was old and tatty I booked a window seat to actually get the window seat with no window. I had just come off another Emirates flight but this was old tatty plane, the seating squashed. The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."

Fordele: "I must admit....this is one of the best experiences I have had flying and I fly this route a lot. I was traveling with an Elder who required a wheelchair and every step of the way it was smooth and the crew was attentive."
Ulemper: "They only give out small cups of water. I would have liked the option of a bottled water as well as for the elder I was traveling with. They did not come around as often with water as we needed. but this complaint is so minor compared to our overall experience that I did not want to even mention it."

Ulemper: "Would love Emirates to fly the A380 from Glasgow but know its not possible with our small runway, maybe worth investing in though as always a busy flight both segments"

Ulemper: "For this flight boarding was smooth as my previous flight was late and an Emirates employee ran us through security and to this flight on time. For the people reading this review who might think my kid would have been messy or cranky on the flight so we were treated this way, that was not the case, she not even cried once or made a mess. Same as my previous flight with crew, Crew were so late in responses, my wife actually walked to their place 2 times to get milk for the baby. Also she was not served food at all when they served breakfast. We requested Hindu meal and I was served hindu meal and she was missed and when they served lunch she was told she has not requested prior to the flight and can only be served a regular meal, which she gladly accepted. Kid was not served any food again, so we gave her solid from our meal. When we requested some food for the baby she was given a banana baby food(Kid did not even eat it). Taste of the food was edible(Not great). Overall do not fly emirates with a kid"

Ulemper: "The entertainment system needs some updating - kept freezing and needed to rebooted to continue watching. Wouldn't normally care but with all that time captured in air you need it to work."
Ulemper: "Food. And also seats. We r silver class and should have been assigned better seats."
Fordele: "Arriving at Perth is always a hassle with delayed baggage unloading. Can Emirates engage their own staff to expedite this activity. The Perth baggage handlers are too slow, particularly when on penalty rates on Sundays."

Fordele: "The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The plane itself was clean and there were plenty of bathrooms. It was great to have two free meals, drinks and entertainment making a 10 hour flight go by faster. I love the eye masks and ear plugs to make sleeping on a plane easier. All around success and would fly again with them!"
Ulemper: "On the flight home the crew seemed a little confused who was in charge of my row. I had to go get myself the customs forms and a pen. Also the front of the plan was extremely hot compared to the back."

Although my wife and I were jealous of the business class luxury we were very satisfied with our 15 hour flight."

Ulemper: "Food is outdated. Menu is not based on nutrition. The pizza served at end of flight is terrible. It should be replaced with a high protein snack. Food is tilted heavily towards carbohydrates and main entree is about 25 percent less than it should be. If the menu evolves a bit to include slightly larger portions, more fiber , protein, vitamins and minerals , it would be a true 5 star experience. Other than food, I rate this flight and experience 5 stars ."
Fordele: "The service for my granddaughters was phenomenal."
Fordele: "I’m very disappointed by the supervisor treatment at the time I was checking in and weighing my luggage. It is very frustrating to see that I was forced to pay US$ 175 for an excess of only 9 Kg. Even after I told him that my other luggage didn’t have the maximum weight he insisted either to throw away my items or pay the amount. The supervisor was ready to either not let to board the flight or leave my luggage. I could have appreciated if either charged only extra 9kgs or move the excess volume to check in luggage that was not full. The supervisor was not ready to listen and he constantly treats me in a disrespectful manner. Given to the mistreatments I had I have vows not to travel with Emirates anymore and also advise my friends and colleagues not to use it. I hope you will use this feedback to improve your customers services."

Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "Boarding process chaotic due to conflicting flow of movement in the aisle. People don't like to step aside to let others pass. Additionally some of carry on luggage was oversized and should have been checked into the cargo hold. When flight landed in Nouakchott an announcement should have been made so that the Dakar passengers allowed the NKC ones to deplane, AND the NKC passengers should have been advised to have their boarding passes out for inspection. This caused a backlog in the jetbridge. AND no announcement regarding local time."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."
Fordele: "Food's always good and the staff friendly"
Ulemper: "The sound on the entertainment system is not good...it used to be good but not anymore"
Fordele: "The food and boarding went fine."
Ulemper: "There was no air in our section of the plane. The entire flight from Houston to Istanbul was miserable. It was 85 degrees or higher, and every chance we got to complain to a flight attendant was met with dismissal. We were told they were trying to fix it, but really there's nothing they could have done, and they shouldn't have made it sound like if we just waited a little the problem would get fixed. Not only was it hot, but there was no actual air flow of any kind, and as a person with Asthma this was extremely uncomfortable. Our section was right behind the first class section, and the flight attendants kept trying to keep us separated with the curtains, even though the only way we were getting any air was from that cabin. We consistently requested them to leave the curtains open in the hopes that some air would make it's way to us, but there was little change. Some families with newborns were moved to first class, and some passengers were able to scout out and find other available seats throughout the plane, but for the majority of us in that section, we had no air, and were treated very poorly for as much discomfort as we were going through. There was no apology and little acknowledgement to the problem at hand and I felt personally very disrespected by the whole experience."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines is a wonderful airline. They treat all there passengers well. The food was excellent and the cabin crew was multi lingual, pleasant and helpful. They made a long flight very comfortable and pleasant."

Ulemper: "everything planes were gross and not cleaned in between flights stewardesses were rude and unhelpful food gross passengers were treated like cattle most of the announcements were not even made in english"
Fordele: "A much nicer 777 on this leg."
Ulemper: "The lounge at IST is overcrowded and lacks sufficient showering facilities. There was leftover food everywhere that the overworked staff tried, in vain, to keep up with."
Fordele: "We arrived safely and on time"
Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."
Fordele: "Having every single person I spoke with pass me on to another party. Apparently customer complaints is really no one's job. They're extremely motivated to have you find someone else to correct your problem. Rest assured it is "your problem" I was told quite explicitly that my missed connection flight and lost luggage was not their problem."
Ulemper: "They lost my luggage. Couldn't even tell me when my bag was checked despite the scan tag they attached to my boarding pass when they weighed it and checked it in back in New York. They legitimately had no idea if my bag ever left the United States. It took 3 days to locate my baggage while I was trying to celebrate my anniversary with my wife in Athens. being without your luggage for half a week in a foreign country is not even remotely fun. I had to wait around missing tours and reservations trying to find our luggage most of our first 48 hours in Greece. After giving up on getting our stuff we had to waste a chunk of time shopping to replace our clothing and toiletries. Despite having purchased the travel insurance I'm still fighting a month after our trip ended to be reimbursed for the clothes we had to buy just to begin our vacation. Again they continue to stonewall by transferring our complaint calls endlessly and forwarding our emails with "new" case numbers each time. Basically what this accomplishes is they can't ever find the case number they updated it to and insist that the prior case number is listed as resolved. Since they say it's resolved there is nothing anyone can do to help. Not sure if I'll ever get any satisfaction out of this debacle."
Ulemper: "Why does Turkish Air boarding always have to be so chaotic - pushing and shoving, etc. Why cant TK control their business class space - people from economy always coming up for bathrooms when there are plenty in the back....."

Ulemper: "First and foremost we were astonished and angered that the cabin crew would not allow any window shades to be open during the day- long flight. That is unhealthy and exacerbates the jet lag phenomena. An airplane is not a hotel and you have eye masks and such readily available for people sleeping. Oh, and I also like to look out the window! For this reason I am looking for another airline to fly for our semi annual trips overseas."

Ulemper: "What I didn't like was when Turkish Airlines told us that in order to get free hotel and free transportation because our layover was 13+ hours we must buy Turkish entry visas which costs us $200.00. The visas should've been free because we were on transit."

Ulemper: "the first flight (from Dhaka to Istanbul) was long, but great. full entertainment. the second flight from Istanbul to London had zero entertainment (the flight is obviously international and 4-5 hours long). there should be an easier way to request a vegetarian meal when i buy my ticket through your website. I shouldn't have to go through some convoluted way of contacting the airline to find if there is a veg option."
Ulemper: "Paid £400 as penalty for being late for the first portion of the flight, although I wasn't going to miss my connection since the layover was over 10 hrs"

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."
Ulemper: "KLM lost my suitcase and did not deliver it until three days later... They refused to compensate me for having delivered the bag with broken articles inside (A pair of Rayban Wayfarers!)"

Fordele: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Ulemper: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."
Fordele: "We were fed a nice pasta meal and offered drinks twice. They also gave a muffin for desert. The flight attendants were very nice and attentive with cheerful smiles. I wish every airline had service this good!"

Fordele: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Fordele: "The time keeping was very good. We left on time and arrived early on both occasion. Good organisation. Excellent service."
Ulemper: "Boarding was a free for all. The travelers did not pay attention to the priorities."

First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me.
