Ulemper: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Ulemper: "They said they would fix the sound on my sons t.v. but that never happened so we had to swap seats and one of us didn't have any onboard entertainment although we asked about it 4 times"
Ulemper: "I will never ever fly Qatar airlines again. The boarding for this flight in Doha was horrendous. I and a random group of passengers were made to wait with no explanation AFTER our electronics were already cleared to go through yet another security check. They said we were selected for screening but all the other people they took before us were screened the exact same way. It was stressful and traumatizing to stand for 45 minutes with no clear explanation. The crew were clearly new at their job or ill trained. On top of that they consistently ran out of food they were serving and was forced to take the vegetarian option when it's not what I wanted. I could not wait to leave Doha and exit Qatar airways. I hated my experience traveling with Qatar. It was stressful and traumatic. I want a full refund. I will also be advising all my friends to never fly Qatar. It was the WORST!"
Ulemper: "The seats could me more comfortable . The one that flew from Doha to Mumbai was way more comfortable than the one from Houston to Doha ."
Fordele: "free flowing wine and beer --- unlike previous flight on QA when the actual supervisor of the staff did not allow a proper stipend of the red wine --- also I witnessed her incivility to another passenger which was appalling -- the crew on this flight deserve to be commended"

Ulemper: "Newest seating arrangement in 777 300 ER just too crammed. Used to be better. Nothing special about this flight, was expecting a little more space, a little less crowded, a bit better service. But my flight was short hop from BKK to HAN, last leg of flight originating in Doha."

Ulemper: "Check in staff and customer service reps were unprofessional and unhelpful. We had an 8 hour layover on both legs, no access to the lounge or a hotel was provided. I explained we were on our way to our wedding and it would be nice to have some rest. They were rude with the way they told us no, they even suggested we sleep on the floor of the airport. We ended up paying for the lounge, but then so did about 1000 other people, there was no room for us to sit together. My wife's allergy free meal wasn't provided on the first flight. We had to speak to about 5 people to get a meal ticket at the airport and they were very reluctant to give us one. I told them she was hungry and needed to eat. They told us we could take the meal we got with the ticket on board, when we went to use the ticket we had no choice in meal, were given a coke at 6am and weren't allowed to heat up our meal or take it on board. In summary, all the cabin crew on all 4 flights were excellent. Staff at Doha airport were incredibly poor."
Fordele: "I was the third person in the line. The ticket agent couldn't find my ticket as multiple tickets were booked on my name and all tickets showed X mark. After 20-30 minutes of wait, I finally got my ticket but the security and custom lines were very long by that time. Never flying Qatar again."

Ulemper: "The plane was old and tatty I booked a window seat to actually get the window seat with no window. I had just come off another Emirates flight but this was old tatty plane, the seating squashed. The plane was delayed on the runway for around 40 mins but no announcement made, the stewards were unresponsive when people pressed the buzzer."

Ulemper: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worst flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."
Ulemper: "I payed for emirates not fly Dubai which was low budget flight. They charged me for a coffee on the plane... not something I would expect after paying 1400 for my tickets. And no where did it say fly Dubai on my tickets, I would have gone with other alternatives if I knew like Turkish. So last time I use kayak and will not be recommending it as well. This a rating for my whole trip to kathmandu not just Dubai to Kathmandu."

Fordele: "The staff was amazing, not perfect, but still very good. Even on the long leg from Seattle to Dubai after 14 hours they we're smiling, helpful and attentive."
Ulemper: "The only thing I could say was not up to par was the food on both flights. The long legs food got me sick, and yes I was the only one so could have just been me, and the second the "sandwich" it seems they were not even trying."

Fordele: "Everything I have come to expect on Emirates Economy, except for boarding and disembarking the aircraft involving bus journeys - and the condition of my suitcase on arrival."
Ulemper: "1. Use of buses on departure and arrival. The length of the bus journey from the terminal, in a vehicle with no seats, made me suspect we were going the whole way to Geneva by bus. 2. Don't know whether Fly Dubai or Emirates are to blame but my suitcase (a top grade modern Samsonite) was a mess by the time it reached Geneva, with rubber seal on one side of the zip peeled back and almost off. Why can't airlines and terminals ensure baggage is treated with care and respect?"

Ulemper: "1.45 hours connection time in Dubai was hardly sufficient. Had to run through main terminal. Despite being in business class, no special service to bring us to the gate. Not good enough frankly."

Fordele: "The food on Emirates is excellent, the cabin is classy and comfortable, and the plane is equipped with modern amenities such as WIFI and charging portals. The cabin crew were polished and professional and friendly."

Fordele: "The seats were good, more reclining than Etihad, Luftansa and United airlines and a good leg space, although I'm 5'4. Food was good and plentiful."
Ulemper: "Cleaniness was really bad. There was a puddle of water in the washroom and even after informing the crew twice noone cleaned it."
Fordele: "This airline is consistently great. Comfortable, lovely staff members, and great in flight entertainment."

Ulemper: "Check-in counter staffs in Dubai are poorly trained and do not have service-mind at all."
Fordele: "There was sufficient legroom at the seat. Amenities were provided to remain "fresh". Not computer literate, the entertainment was more than adequate."
Ulemper: "I told the flight attendant while boarding that it was not appropriate to have very little children on a flight of this length. Much to my chagrin, an Indian woman had two howling urchins one row in front of me. These howling urchins proceeded to scream their lungs out for 11 of the 13 hours of the flight!! One of the babies was so small, it looked like she had just pushed the critter out earlier that day!! Had they told the Indian woman to drive or swim to Dubai, the ratings would've have been excellent. I did not pay good money to have to sit in a NURSERY!!!!!"

Ulemper: "Board was troublesome and wasted alot of time as the tube was not used.had to walk down a flight of stairs then wait for mini bus (with very limited seats), then take it for around 5-7mins drive to reach the plane. Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."

Ulemper: "The plane was a very old B777-300 and the air conditioning did not work so the whole flight was very warm. The cabin in general was very dated and cramped. Having flown the A350 to Bangkok which was newer and much better, did not see why they couldn’t operate the flight back on the same platform"

Ulemper: "Boarding - No announcement regarding boarding, people were unsure when boarding would commence and reason for the delay. Comfort- it was very hot, as temperature control is activated by staff; I asked staff to turn on air conditioning in my area as it was very hot and stuffy, but it was still hot and fairly uncomfortable."
Fordele: "Just like on previous domestic flight experience, I love how Thai Airways is able to promote and provide for customer comfort and service on such short flights - something that US airlines are so incapable of providing. Thanks for the help and we will make sure to have a little better time between our flights in the future."

Windows darken without blinds, loads of space in your compartment and food was good even as just a snack."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "The leg room on the long flight was less than I would have wished and it was particularly bad when the person in front put their seat back. this was a day time flight and it would have been good to have a bit more room to use a laptop."

Fordele: "Check- in to arrival was what I would expect from a flight. It was my first flight with Finnair and I will fly with this airline again."

Ulemper: "Finnair used to be a good airline but it has deteriorated significantly. The flights are expensive but uncomfortable. The airline uses every opportunity to save money and charges through the nose for everything. The morale of the crew is low."
Ulemper: "Sat on tarmac for 2 hrs, told we would get a snack then they changed their minds"

Ulemper: "Plane was late taking off and almost missed my next connection. Due to landing late my luggage did not make it on make it on my flight. However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"

Ulemper: "I was not able to check in online within the 24 hrs prior to the flight as the Iberia system kept flashing and "error"message. Therefore, I was not able to pick a seat, which I would have paid to upgrade if necessary, but instead I was assigned a middle seat as a last option, at the counter, and paid for an exit row which, except for the leg room, was just as uncomfortable!"

Ulemper: "the baggage check was a zoo. there was only one finnair representative, who was LATE. the baggage check was opened only 1.5 hours before the flight, causing a massive line."
Fordele: "Decent flight from SFO to HEL, friendly staff ..."
Ulemper: "Ran out of food options from SFO to HEL. I was sitting towards the end of the plane ... and no more chicken so got stuck with the pork and mashed potatoes options. Need more coffee aboard the flight. ANA cleans the bathroom periodically, and wouldn't be bad to do the same on long flights. The arm rest between seats don't go all the way up, only half way. If the person in front of you is asleep during meal service, the FA (flight attendant) won't lift the seat and it may be a very uncomfortable meal experience. Other airlines will have the FA do it themselves. ...and you need to be careful about staying awake to get food (otherwise you can get forgotten)."

Ulemper: "Plane was late leaving Helsinki due to broken latch, which made us late getting into Chicago. After landing we waited at least 45 minutes to get to a gate. It took at least 30 minutes to get off the plane and then getting through customs was a nightmare. Arrival board at O'Hare said plane was on time, but listed gate as 0, which of course doesn't exist so our ride home had no idea what was going on or what was taking so long and ended up waiting over three hours for us to get through everything to meet them."
Fordele: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Ulemper: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."
Ulemper: "They can't even tell me where the bag is supposed to be."
Fordele: "The crew was friendly. We were delayed, but I think that's because we were waiting on travelers with delayed connecting flights."
Ulemper: "The food was very heavy, heavier than airplane food usually is. The touchscreen TVs were not very responsive."

Ulemper: "We had a very rude male flight attendant that argued with us when they didn't have a vegetarian meal for my wife even though we checked that box when buying our tickets. My wife ate two bread rolls for dinner before the next meal 7 hours later. Later, when the second meal was served, he muttered a smart assed reply to my wife after he handed her food to her. After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."
Fordele: "Typical service and level of attention you'd expect in business class. Great food and wine selection. The amenity kit has exactly what's needed and not more."

Sent to another airport except the free shuttle wasn't running, 50 dollar taxi ride later I got to sleep on the floor until the gates finally opened 5 hours later"

Fordele: "I liked everything about my experience on four Iberia flights. The boarding was fair by groups and they didn't allow people cutting the lines. The planes were new. The food served was very good and had a great variety of tastes to please different cultures. The entertainment system on my seat was awesome!! Customizable music playlist that was All genres of music. The navigational pages were fun and interesting and the movies were current."
