beds were very comfortable! Great location! Clean room. pool was cold its a southern state would be better heated. The refridge hummed the whole time. We had to plug it in when we got to the room. Wifi should be free for all. Its 2016 after all. Some english speaking house keepers would be nice as to have communcation instead of a yes from the staff when they clearly dont understand. maybe offer engllish classes to staff that wants to learn.
The hotel was in a great location and very walkable to various New Orleans attractions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to change my room to a double queen and check-in early as well as do a late check out until 3 which I appreciated. The room was a nice size for two people. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like. There was hair left over from the previous occupant. The blanket was also dirty when I separated it from the sheet.
Great stay with a great staff. The hotel is located on the riverside which allows for easy access to the river walk, the auditorium, Harrah's Casino and Drago (which is in the hotel).
They charged extra for wifi and the gym. I thought this was tacky when paying over $200 a night forms room.

It was very close to the French Quarter Festival activities. The rooms were nice and we loved having appetizers and drink at the bar after a busy day of activities.

The location Everything has a huge fee associated with it, the valets were unfriendly and purposely gave us bad directions because we used self Park, our room felt like a motel six, the bed didn't have a comforter, when I called they acted unconcerned and sent up a thin scratchy blanket. The tv signal was terrible, the remote was from the 1990's, it literally took 4 seconds to change from one channel to the next. all of the appliances were unplugged. We were scheduled for 3 nights but we cancelled the last two and switched to a bnb in uptown. MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE. The same price when you add up all the extras the Hilton tries to gouge you on.
Staff was great, especially Kelly at the Front Desk You're being nickled and dimed. Had to get a few pages printed, which were $3.56 each (double-sided) and it came to almost $200 for 50 pages. Wanted to go to the gym, which is an additional $12. The hotel is quite spread out. Going from my room in Building 3 to the gym was a 20 minute walk (and I walk fast). Not a big deal for me, since I considered it part of my cardio workout.
Riverside view, mall access from hotel, cleanliness Pool closed due to weather, could have used a microwave and unclear channels.
Close to casino, Bourbon Street and restaurants. Air conditioner didn't work. We had to call several times for it to get fixed. After it improved it didn't last long. We had to call again. It never was fixed.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to New Orleans, and our lodging was a big part of it. The room was clean, very comfortable bed. All of the staff was very helpful, the concierge gave us many tips.

When we arrived door service was great but the front desk lady was very disrespectful. We arrived a couple hours early before our original check in time at 3 and it seemed like she was bothered by a previous incident. No eye contact and we could barely hear her speak because she spoke so low. The overall stay was mediocre, the last night fire alarms continued to go off through out the night making it extremely hard to get a good rest.
The beds and bedding. The quality of the breakfast. The fact that the restaurant didn't open till 7:00 am. The monring we ate there, it opened at 7:05 and we didn't get out of there till 7:45, which made us late for our meetings. Most business people want to get in and out for breakfast and are not very concerned about a gormet experience. The should open by at least 6:30 am.
Very close to convention center and Harrah's Casino. Excellent location for business. Room service not very effective. Hotel restaurant staff not efficient enough(they act slow).
The hotel was clean with comfortable rooms with a good location to walk to various sites around New Orleans. No open restaurant, complimentary coffee in the lobby you pay for, despite their advertisment they are not attached to the casino to name a few.

We enjoyed staying at the Omni. Very comfortable beds, courteous staff. Hotel is located away from all the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance of everything. There was an outlet center right across the street which was great too.

Our first time visit to New Orleans. Great location (close to convention center and streetcars), great room (clean and large), great breakfast, exceptional service from the staff (very personable and helpful). Would definitely stay here again.
It was new and clean. Good facilities. Staff were friendly. The rooms had no black Tea bags(only coffee). Since these are suites with kitchenette, it would be nice if there a few utencils or atleast some plastic spoons, forks and knives.

Everything was wonderful The price for parking . It was outrageous 28 dollars for one night or park on some side street blocks away. You kinda got us on that one.
We stayed here this past Sunday (March 2) just for one night. The rooms themselves were great - nice and clean with comfortable beds. They had fridges in the rooms which was great and a very nice pool/spa. The customer service was awful. When we arrived (about 10 AM) we could not even park at the hotel and the valet was extremely rude. Two people were in the process of getting their cars back so I asked if we could take their spots (there was no one else around the hotel lobby or valet area). The valet told me no and that it would be 2 hours before I could park. I asked what I was supposed to do with my car and he rudely replied that he didn't know and that check in was at three. I continued to ask why I couldn't take the new spots for the people leaving and he replied "Check in is at 3 PM, is that fair?". Once again in a very rude tone. I did not appreciate how I was being treated as a customer. I realize this is a busy time for New Orleans, but I felt that I didn't deserve his short temper or rude behavior. I still don't understand why we couldn't park where the cars were being moved from.

Staff was very accommodating, the hotel was clean and excellent condition The pillows were feather pillow which was very uncomfortable, when I asked for foam pillows they were out, I guess other guest wanted foam pillows. WiFi was expensive I don't understand when you check into a cheaper hotel it is free, now days WiFi is just as used as TV and they don't charge for that.
The staff was good, location was good, beds were comfortable. (However, we were put in a two-queen room when we asked for a king.) Starbucks in the hotel was convenient, however I was used to free coffee for guests at other Marriott franchises, so that was a little disappointing. I really wish that there had been more drawer space. It was inconvenient for staying a week, though I suppose most people staying are just there for a convention.
The staff was extremely helpful and cordial. Only Double Beds available for my stay. We requested King bed for our stay. Also valet parking wasn't available for our stay.
My husband,3 young kids and I spent the weekend here to do some fun Christmas activities over the weekend. Excellent location across the street from convention center and Riverwalk, near Fulton street and French Quarter. Staff was excellent, room was very nice and located in a very safe area of New Orleans. We'll definitely be staying at the Mariott again!
