Ulemper: "I can't understand why I was booked with an impossibly tight connection. It's a huge airport, with multiple security checkpoints with long lines. I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."

They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"
Ulemper: "Service was terrible, crew was rude. Flight was delayed 2 hours leaving Tel Aviv and my luggage was not here when we arrived. They let us wait two hours for luggage before telling us it wasn't going to make it in. Frustrated and disappointed! Ground security in Turkey was rude and took my sons skate board which we had flown to Israel with and back to turkey, then they told us it couldn't come with us to miami although we flew Turkish both directions with no problem. In the end gate staff went and rescued his skate board from security as he got to the flight crying his little eyes out. Communication was terrible and staff was rude!"

Ulemper: "Checking laptop in Istanbul was very inconvenient, and retrieving it in Atlanta took a lot of time as we had to wait at baggage for it to arrive. Not Turkish rule, but still a consideration for future flights."

No touch, no 1/8 inch audio jack (it has the old 3 holes one). Wifi for streaming freezes every other second. Just make a face lift to the plane, everything else is good."

Ulemper: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."

No inflight entertainment

The delayed flight from Montreal was horrible, I know it was air Canada operated that flight but no gate open to be able to sit ,for 4 hours to wait after 2 flights and long hours. I will never flight with 2 layover and especially trough Montreal. Airport in Munich was the only civilized. Check in in Heraklion was also very slow and disappointed.

Carry-on luggage restrictions extremely stringent- did not allow carry-on sized suitcases we have brought on other flights, boarding is slow and disorganized delaying take-off and making difficult to get to connecting flight

The flight was on a very small plane for a transatlantic flight. It was more suitable for a mid-distance domestic flight. The plane was also quite old and its entertainment systems repeatedly froze and shut down. Finally, the airline charged for most food and drinks--on an international flight. I will avoid Lufthansa and its partner, United, in the future. Also, the airports are a disastrous mess, with long lines and huge numbers of flights delayed (although this is beyond the airline's control). Both my flights were delayed substantially.

Nice airplane, quick boarding, excellent crew. The entertainment choices are very poor comparing to previous trips with LH. Food was horrible, neither one of us ate it.

Ulemper: "Lufthansa burde presse lufthavnen i Frankfurt til at ge bemanding imsilkerhedskonteollen. Kl 6.10 i morges tog det 35 min i business køen og mindst 50 mini economy køen"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "Lufthansa changed my flight last minute but was sending me updates for the old booking- it made no sense!!! Never again!"
Ulemper: "the entertainment kept cutting in and out on itself, and i was listening to classical music and it simply didn't work to hear anything whole. annoying but not critical"

Ulemper: "Boarding totally chaotic, someone was in my assigned seat, plane was very late, food was crappy, no legroom , seat and armrests uncomfortable , constant screaming babies, smelly passengers, music only came out of one speaker, music kept jumping from one song to another and then back !"

Ulemper: "The seats are horrible without any lumbar support nor sufficient cushion for the seat. It leaves you sore all over. If the person in front lays back, they will be hitting your knees. The food for dinner was ok but the breakfast was horrible. Plain eggs with inedible spinach and tomatoes."

Fordele: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"

Fordele: "Check in was easy, flight was smooth, had good seats with legroom. Liked receiving updates on phone."
Fordele: "I flew in the A380 bulkhead at row 50 from Munich to Hong Kong. Have flown premium economy with Lufthansa before, it was no different from before. The service is efficient. Entertainment was fine and had an interesting selection in their world cinema section."
Ulemper: "A pretty standard experience and nothing which makes you feel special. Other airlines might offer an upgraded meal in premium economy or a special cocktail, but not on Lufthansa."
Fordele: "The seat 16A is very comfortable and spacious. Most of the hosts were friendly and helpful."
Ulemper: "My screen did not function well and sound was very poor. I had to have my computer 'rebooted' two times. The second time was done by a gentleman who was a bit sarcastic when I asked if he could help me, as I had waited 20+ minutes for the help to get it going again. You need to update your system!"
Fordele: "Everything was fine, the crew was excellent. We liked that Lufthansa did provide the special meals (that we requested on-line) for our family."
Ulemper: "The boarding was rather slow (but not extremely so). Calling boarding by row ranges, like some other airlines do, may speed it up or make it more comfortable. The seats were not too comfortable, but within what one can expect for an Economy class --- and not too bad, either."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed. There was a terrible backlog in Security at Frankfurt Airport. This is not Lufthansa's fault but considering how important Frankfurt is, you would think the airlines would say something. The flight was late. There were no proper queues for boarding. Everone was mixed up, business, gold card, economy, and only one person doing the chekcing of boarding passes. It was not the best process."

Ulemper: "For an international flight on Lufthansa, the 747-8 seats pale in comparison to the A380 seats. Thinner and less comfortable. Seats and armrests were dirty, did not look like they had been cleaned in a very long time."

Ulemper: "Unprofessional behavior of the checkin counter agent at IAH was disappointing. The registration of food choice online didn’t get through hence had to deal with pasta Airbus 380 seats selected by us on the upper deck seemed to lack cushion and hence very uncomfortable"

Ulemper: "Food terrible. Please improve. If Lufthansa will like to continue carrying passengers from and to Nigeria they need to be giving the Nigerian passengers more than pester/spaghetti."

Ulemper: "The television screens were very old and discolored."
Fordele: "Even I fly Lufthansa all the time with miles and more it makes you IT'S LIKE TOILET PAPER...VERY DISAPPOINTED...."

Fordele: "great entertainment on monitors at seat. kept us full with two full meals and a snack. came around with beverages often. seats very comfortable with leg room and reclining"

Ulemper: "SEATED, TREATED LIKE CATTLE. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE DUE TO NARROW SEATS. GAVE US TWO MIDDLE SEATS IN FOUR-SEAT CENTER. WANTED $35/EA TO PRESELECT SEATS, ONE-WAY. NEVER AGAIN IF I CAN HELP IT....."
Ulemper: "Seats are very uncomfortable. Body wants to slide forward."
Fordele: "Crew inside the plane was lovely."
Ulemper: "Problems with the check-in online that made it impossible and cause that me and my partner had to seated not together. In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."
