Ulemper: "lastminute.com was completely unhelpful in assisting with any changes to my itinerary. They repeatedly provided me with incorrect information that sent me on a wild goose chase."

Ulemper: "The crew kept the temperature in cabin at 26 or 28 degrees Celsius. Whole trip felt like being in the oven. I will NEVER EVER FLY AUSTRIAN AIRLINES AGAIN."

Fordele: "Arrival to the terminal was a breeze, and security was fast and efficient. What more can a traveler ask for?"
Ulemper: "The executive lounge was a bit crowded. But if that is my only complaint, that’s not too bad. A well designed airport!"

Fordele: "On time, best connection for me, earning miles on my program. I booked based on time and cost, didn't even pay attention to what airline."
Ulemper: "No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."

Fordele: "Even on this short 1-hour prop flight they do have average service and pass out Swiss chocolate."

Fordele: "The attendants on Austrian air are all very nice and helpful. You can make any request of them or ask any question and they are happy to help. Great customer service. Arrived on time. Also, very good entertainment options!"
Ulemper: "The seats are very uncomfortable on Austrian air. The only way I would fly them again would be if I had extra money for the exit rows with more leg room. Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

Fordele: "The staff was very friendly and professional Even got some sleep, not easy on economy seats but on this flight they were actually good."
Ulemper: "The other travelers were loud rude and didn't listen to instructions. Also clapping loudly upon landing and it's very annoying. Parents don't take responsibility for their children."

Fordele: "I never try Austrian airlines because this trip was my first trip with them and I'll say that it's one of the best trips I ever had the airport at Vienna it's very small and easy to go anywhere you want and it's super clean and the stuff at the airport are very helpful and they all speak English and I was able to get a hotel room with walking destination from the airport and it was a very good experience overall I'll definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely keep them on my top list"

Ulemper: "Flight was 1 hour late. Didn’t make up any time while in flight. We came to no gate assigned. Additional delays due to wait for free gate. Unacceptable, missed my connection. Had to stay additional day for rebooked flight."

Ulemper: "Rang twice for attendants when I dropped my phone behind the seat. Instructed at beginning of flight to not attempt to retrieve an item behind the seat and to have an attendant helped. No one responded to me, so I got it myself. Wasn’t a big deal, but I don’t appreciate being soundly ignored"

Fordele: "Polite crew. The food was much better that on any airline these days. The boarding process was organized fine."
Ulemper: "As on any airline these days the leg space in economy class is very limited. The movie selection was OK but not great."

Ulemper: "Poor web site. Very poor boarding crew. Boarding crew made no announcements for who must get re-elected ticketed for shares carrier tucked or web site ticketed passengers. No prep boarding plan given therefore mass at gate."

Ulemper: "austrian and lufthansa have the worst seats in the industry. good for seating for about 30 minutes ONLY. so tough that make the trip feel even longer. a charger is needed in economy (at least one every two seats). wifi has not made it to this long haul flight yet."

Fordele: "I thought the food was excellent. Better food in coach than I get on first class domestic flights. Also, the in-flight entertainment was very good. I watched a couple of science shows and extreme sports shows that I truly enjoyed."
Ulemper: "There wasn't much I did not enjoy that could be changed. I chose to go coach and had to put up with seating that was more cramped than I like, but I expected that."

Ulemper: "Our flight was cancelled at the time we were suppose to board. We had to find another flight via Istanbul and got to our destination 6 hours late. Won't use Kayak again."

Fordele: "I would suggest to make up some how for my lost as I had other problems derived from missing my United Airlines but so far every body has been very understanding. For example selling me a new ticket at a special price or with some benefit - I WILL NEED TO FLY TO VIENNA AND KIEV AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS - otherwise; I doubt I would ever buy a Austrian plane ticket again. I AM FLYING ON POLISH AIRLINES RIGHT NOW OCT 25TH."
Ulemper: "When I try to make the change of itinerary on Austrian Airlines on the selling web page, they told me to contact the Austrian Airlines, so I did. The Austrian Airlines lady who told me that I would just lose my tickets and that I could not even pay a penalty to avoid such thing, was very VERY RUDE!! As the Austrian Airlines did not offer me an option but losing my plane ticket,"

Ulemper: "I can not afford first class tickets..."

Ulemper: "When our plane arrived late, many on board had missed connections. We received no help/guidance at gate, other than to be told to go up one floor. One floor up we had to go thru security to reach customer service. 100 people lined up for customer service from 3 Austrian airline reps. After 2 hours of standing, there were still 27 people ahead of me. The woman behind me gave me the local phone number for Austrian airlines and I was able to get on a flight to US leaving in 30 minutes. I managed to make it, and would not have had I waited another hour in line. Why no surge of staff to help? All 3 help numbers on my Lufthansa e-mail receipt could not help. Horrible experience."

Fordele: "The cabin was clean and comfortable. The crew was efficient and friendly. We departed early and arrived early and the entertainment was just what I wanted."

Fordele: "Left on time, exit row seats and a simple, yet adequate meal. The beverage cart came by a few times."

Fordele: "Even though I was very disappointed at what the Austrian airline did to me, the staff and crew and captains where professional and the flight was comfortable especially on Lufthansa. However, I missed the experience of enjoying the flight with the group of people that I joined on the way to Vienna and to Egypt."
Ulemper: "I didn't like the fact that they cancelled my Austrian flight to a completely different company (Lufthansa). I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

Ulemper: "Rude gate agent. Small seats, no leg room, very crowded together. Clearly a budget airline - should be marketed as such."

Fordele: "The service and the overall flight quality, the pilot was very good!"

Ulemper: "The ground crew harassed us for bringing our instruments on board. We fly with instruments for our work and this was the first time we were forced to check certain items and were detained for a period of time so that the ground crew could check with their superiors."

Ulemper: "Delay of 1 hour on a flight of 1 hour during lunch time and neither a snack during the flight."

Ulemper: "The seats are very narrow so it feels tight even for a smaller person like me. There is no meal served on this 7-8 hour flight, unless you pre-purchase one online when you buy your ticket or the weeks leading up to the flight. You can purchase snacks, but they take over an hour to be delivered."

Ulemper: "The staff and crew at Norwegian were not friendly. Boarding was a mess. The plane smelled very bad and was uncomfortable to sit."

Catered primarily to customers ordering and paying on the plane...including cooked meals....customers with preordered meals got everything last...we end up having no choice of meal (chicken only) while people seated next to us got their NOT preordered beef dinner promptly, 10 minutes before us...and people seated behind us got no prepaid meals because they run out of food...???..."

Ulemper: "I was bumped off my assigned seat"

Fordele: "Plane seemed rather new and clean. Seat assignment put my husband and I together. Liked having personal screen for entertainment, with easy to see headphone plug-in and usb charging as well."
Ulemper: "No legroom, thus very cramped for an overnight flight. Wish we had been given a seat on the aisle - there were some empty ones on the flight. I ended up using one for awhile halfway thru flight because center was so cramped."

Ulemper: "My biggest concern was the service onboard. We experienced a flight with the systems for orders for snacks and drinks etc. down. We waited almost 2 hours to receive a bottle of water and headphones, as the system made it look like the items were delivered when they were not. The staff was clearly confused and stressed, and we had to call for attention 2 times to talk to someone who looked at our order and told us the system wasn't working. Two hours after the order we got our merchandise, still charged at full price."

Fordele: "Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Had a delay of 1 1/2 hours (it happens). Lounge was awesome. Long line to get in waiting area to board. Was very crowded in the room right before boarding."
Ulemper: "Somehow I got gluten free meals when only my wife should have. The crew helped us through this though as best as they could."

Ulemper: "No functioning entertainment- equipment from the 80’s No ice for beverages Shuttle to the plane in Paris Very cramped Intermittent airconditioning. It was warm for most of the flight I will NOT fly Norwegian again."

Fordele: "The price was too good to be true, and it was."
Ulemper: "I flew Norweigan round trip to Paris from NYC in May. I knew that it was a budget airline, but I've never seen such horrible service. If you like chaos and being treated like a second class citizen, this is the airline for you. Upon arrival at the airport, we were not able to check our bags at check in (you have to pay 80 Euro and go upstairs to do so). When we asked the staff at the front desk, they were blunt and rude and looked at us like we were crazy for even asking to check our bag. At boarding, they called group A to board at a different gate, then proceeded to make everyone stand for the next 20 minutes before giving us the update that they would need another 10 minutes to give us an update. The terminal was so small no one had any room to move or find out what was going on. During the flight, the only in flight entertainment was the map, Titanic (in French), and Wonder Woman. The rest of the channels either didn't work or didn't exist. The flight attendants only spoke to the people who pre-purchased their meals, so don't expect them to acknowledge you if you didn't buy anything. We weren't even offered water on a 7 hour flight, you had to get the attention of the flight attendant so you could purchase water."

Fordele: "They waited so long before notifying passengers of the problem"
Ulemper: "No refreshments were provided to a whole passenger group while they waited in a line to find out what to do and at the end things were still not resolved"

Fordele: "Good service, smooth boarding, 2 meals, comfortable flight."
Ulemper: "Crowded space like most flights."

Fordele: "New Boeing Dreamliner plane was very comfortable. We successfully bid for an upgrade which was of course spacious. Most food and drink was complimentary."
Ulemper: "The movie selection was limited. If there was on board music I couldn’t find it. There are usb and power points so you can bring your own though. It was awkward to eat out of the meal boxes with little plastic cutlery."

Fordele: "I did not like the fact that there are so many hidden fees. Customer service is also the worst. It took a flight attendant 20 minutes to attend a request, and another 20 minutes to give you what you requested/orderd. Also, once they attend you, they make you feel like you are the worst customer for requesting/ordering something. They give you the nastiest side eye, all of them!!! They also kept getting the orders wrong. The old gentleman I sat next to was vegetarian, and they gave his meal to someone else, so they gave him a sandwich with meat in it."

Fordele: "Comfortable planes and great prices"
Ulemper: "Having to pay for drinks, even water!!"

Ulemper: "Overcharged on luggage because I had 10.5 kg of carryon luggage instead of 10kg. The flight was virtually empty and so much space and still can’t understand why I had to pay usd 130 for 0.5kg over the 10kg. Felt exploited and cheated"

Ulemper: "The flight going to Paris was fine, but the return flight from London was the issue. In over 40+ years of flying back and forth to Europe I have never had an airline weigh my pocketbook to be added to the weight my carry-on baggage for a total weight. I feel this is extreme and cheap and just an excuse to get more money from the passengers. The weight of my pocketbook is not going to cost the airline more fuel to fly the plane."

Fordele: "The price was great but did not realize I needed to pay extra for luggage (a small suitcase) and there was no service for drink or food unless you pre ordered a meal. So good to know! Check in leaving JFK was pretty long and not so smooth but all went well! Intertainment was fine and seats comfortable!"

Ulemper: "Seats are too close together!"

Fordele: "price, speed, simplicity."
Ulemper: "all of the food was mediocre, overpriced and not even a cup of water was free. no napkins were provided. trash was rarely picked up. staff was direct and not very friendly. it felt very impersonal. baggage was WAY overpriced, as were seats, so it would have been the same as buying flights on another airline and with more courtesy. I wouldn't fly with them again unless it was a weekend trip and i was flying alone and trying to save money."

Ulemper: "The plane was freezing With three people sitting together, it is definitely cramped. Staff aren’t as friendly."

Ulemper: "No food and drink was included on an 8.5 hr international flight"

Fordele: "Modern newish plane & generally a good flight with minimal air disturbance"
Ulemper: "Over an hour delay before taking off although we landed only 35 minutes late. Would have thought some free drinks might have been served given length of the flight even if it is a budget airline. Room between seats is a bit tight."

Fordele: "I can't tell you what I liked because I never made the flight due to my first flight being delayed by a full day."
Ulemper: "Everything because I never made the flight because of a delayed and cancelled first flight."

Fordele: "Pricing was the best!"
Ulemper: "I would pay more for 1.) Better Food 2.) Friendlier staff... staff is untrained and not really very welcoming. They treat you like you are in their way! 3.) Better seats. Seats aren't bad but not super comfortable for long flight. BA and Virgin used to be great but they are both dropping off. Norwegian is a far better deal but it might see more business if it works on the above."

Ulemper: "Extreme and avoidable delays (5 hours). Difficult to even get a cup of water."

Ulemper: "They didn't dim the lights as much as previous flights, which would have helped to sleep. However, none of the tv's for entertainment were working for the entire flight. I know that the flight attendants attempted to reset it a couple times, and that it was out of their hands, but it made the flight very disappointing."

Fordele: "Very good seats and a new plane for good value."
Ulemper: "Entertainment system didn't work, ordering system didn't work. When my kid got a black eye from the spring-loaded entertainment system they didn't even have a first aid kit on board with a cold compress--shocking."

Ulemper: "Booked through kayak and picked a Norwegian flight in a 787-9 Dreamliner. Got to the airport and with zero notification whatsoever prior (I've checked my email looking for anything) and got onto a plane from a company called Wamos. I booked my flight expecting entertainment, charging points, wifi and a certain type of new comfortable plane provided by Norwegian Airlines. Not an A330 with zero entertainment , no charging points, no ambiance available in the Dreamliner planes, no wifi, was told right before boarding the entertainment would be available only with the Wamos app (pronounced Vamos so that's what I was searching for) on a quick announcement before calling my boarding group and as I asked what app it was again from the gate attendants no one had any idea what it was because they are probably Norwegian employees, not Wamos employees. I don't understand how it would be legal to be this misleading with a booking."

Ulemper: "First off. I was late to my flight on the 19th, and Norwegian forced me to purchase an entire new ticket for a flight the next day. I have missed flights before and have never had to pay for another flight. The the next day, when I go to board, I see it is not Norwegian Air at all, it is some airline called Hi Fly that I have never heard of. Norwegian sold this flight to someone else. This airline is not up to my standards. The entertainment selection was very sparse. Besides the 1 1/2 meals provided, there was no food on an 11 hour flight! They ran out of alcohol 3 hours into the flight, which again, I have never seen that happen before."

Fordele: "The crew was amazing the entire time."
Ulemper: "The food choices, I ordered a hot snack but they only had ham and cheese. I don't eat pork also I'm diabetic. Not one sugar free item on the list. Why not have a grilled cheese option. I was refunded then offered a veggie sandwich, I paid again for that. Then they found a cold turkey Sandwich. So I was refunded again and paid for the turkey sandwich in thee end. I was starving the entire flight."
