Libanon har genåbnet sine lufthavne med begrænset kapacitet. Folk, der rejser til Libanon, vil blive pålagt at overholde test- og selvisoleringsforanstaltninger for at reducere spredningen af coronavirus. Tjek med flyselskabet og den libanesiske ambassade før du booker.
Rejsende skal fremlægge en lægeerklæring med et negativt COVID-19 PCR-testresultat udstedt inden for 96 timer før rejsen for at få lov til at rejse ind i landet. Børn under 12 år er undtaget fra alle PCR-testkrav. Rejsende, der forlod Libanon i en periode, der ikke overstiger en uge, er fritaget for PCR-test, når de vender tilbage. Rejsende skal udfylde en "Airport Tracking Registration Form" inden afrejse. Rejsende skal downloade den libanesiske regerings applikation "Covid Leb Track" på deres mobiltelefon og udfylde en sundhedserklæringsformular inden afrejse. Rejsende, undtagen militærpersonale, diplomater, medlemmer af internationale organisationer, UNIFIL og medlemmer af den libanesiske nationale socialsikringsfond eller medarbejderkooperativ, skal have en forsikringspolice for hele deres ophold i Libanon, der fuldt ud dækker udgifterne til lægebehandling hvis de tester positiv for coronavirus. Alternativt kan politikken opnås i forsikringsdiskerne ved ankomsten til Rafik Hariri International Airport-Beirut.
Alle rejsende er underlagt en 3-dages karantæne på deres bopæl eller indkvartering ved ankomsten. Rejsende skal gennemgå en yderligere PCR-test i slutningen af deres karantæneperiode. Diplomater og deres familier, officielle delegationer og UNFIL-officerer er undtaget fra karantæneforanstaltningerne, såvel som dem, der har modtaget COVID-19-vaccinationen, forudsat at de har bevis for vaccination og tager en PCR-test ved ankomsten som en forsigtighedsforanstaltning. Rejsende, der tester positive, bliver nødt til at isolere sig selv og følge sundhedsministeriets retningslinjer.

Ulemper: "At the boarding gate they were cherry picking whose bag is too large and whose isn't. My bag was tagged for nothing, no one at the aircraft was to load them to baggage hold. Plenty of space on the plane. What is the point of the fuss."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Frankfurt Airport check lines too long. Only half of security checking stations opened. Hundreds waiting in line and the lines moved too slow. After passing the long lines of security checks, you come to passport checking stations. only 1 out of 3 available stations is manned. Again, lines too long and barely moving. Probably many missed their flights while waiting to go through passport checks. We lost almost 2 hours between security and passport checks. Airport personnel were unfriendly, they did show any care towards the hundreds that are herded like sheep in long lines. They could have eased this backlog of people by manning all their available stations but they did not. Will try not to go through this airport in the future."
Fordele: "The free entertainment sections were good with recent movies. The planes were on schedule and I made all my connections which was great"
Ulemper: "The plane was older 747-400 but that is no excuse for the layers of dirt or dust on the air vents and ceilings. I actually took a photos and will be forwarding to Lufthansa. The couple in front of us actually took a wet wipe and wiped down there area and ceiling. Also the boarding process was a mess we actually were taken by bus to the aircraft that was at the freight depot and had to climb stairs to get on the 747. I’m not sure how they handle the passengers with mobility issues. First time flying with a European airline and I was told the service was better not on this flight."
Ulemper: "Gate changed ast minute so we had to walk a long way to get to it with 3 kids. Airplane with no entertainment at all. Also the worst was getting to Beirut without 2 of our bags. We got one of them 1 day later and the second 5 days after. When we got the second bag few of our things were gone."
Ulemper: "It made us miss our fly due to Lufthansa use stroller stairs for passengers to get off the airplane instead as I had my 89 years old mother who needed wheel chair assistance which did not have during that time. And, with my heavy carry on luggage, plus my under seat luggage that I had to hold my old mother that I had to walk to the bus With pretty good distance that took us to another 10 minutes terminal drive. By the time we got to the connection gate to Berlin, the plane already rolled out to the runway. Now, they have to send us to the next fly, which was at another different gate. Overall, this trip made me very disappointed and horrible."

Ulemper: "Long flight, bathrooms start to look ugly. Incoming plane landed way out on the tarmac, obligating passengers to be all packed into shuttle bus which took a long time to get to terminal."

Ulemper: "A flight attendant was impatient with children, cranky and rude. Other members of the crew were very friendly and let my son check the second floor and cockpit. There was only one choose of main course."

Ulemper: "Chaos at the gate, TV displays facing the side wall instead of the waiting area, we couldn’t see anything. Need more organization in line. Also, why there is no charger on board for cell phones? No TV entertainment or music or anything. It was clearly lacking the sophistication and class of Lufthansa."

Ulemper: "1- the aircraft from cairo to munich was so small that they didn’t allow the carry on baggage and I had to put it with the check in baggage. 2- the special meal ( muslim meal ) that I ordered was a veggie meal !!!!! With no meat or chicken at all , apparently they don’t know what the meaning of a muslim meal is ! It means to have halal meat , we are not vegetarians ! 3- my baggage didn’t arrive to the airport and I filed a report and was told that I will have them tomorrow and now after four days the baggage didn’t arrive yet and I was told that one of them is missing !!!!!!! I can’t hate them enough."

I landed in Munich and had to run to my next flight and when I asked a Lufthansa staff for help in making my connecting flight he turned to me and said "I don't care-this isn't my problem" upon finally making it for last boarding call to my next flight the staff were rude and unhelpful-I was so stressed I literally had a stomachache and felt completely unwelcome."
Fordele: "United was operating the flight. They asked for 200 to assign me seat next to the path. I found out in the plane after i got to my middle seat that they gave a good front seat close to the path to somebody who was stand by..... They also stated that they can not check my nags to Sofia since they DO NOT FLY TO SOFIA..."

Fordele: "Cabin crew was friendly helpful and courteous. Service was very good even t hough the flight was completely full."
Ulemper: "The seating on this aircraft is inadequate for a long flights. Tall people really suffer due to seat size and spacing. There was a 6"6" man of median weight for his height who was in the middle seat next to me and he could barely fit into his seat. It was not his fault, rather the unrealistic expectation that airline seats actually fit today's customer. Not only is there not enough leg room, but the width of the seat leaves no room for arms or shoulders. No one should have to ride 7-plus hours touching the shoulders of the passenger next to them! I used to prefer to fly on Lufthansa because their seating was more comfortable than other carriers, but I will try another airline next time."

Ulemper: "We waited 1 hour inside the plane for a tore change. That should have been done before take off time."
Ulemper: "Where to begin? During the booking process, there was no indication my travel partner and I would be flying Air Canada, and not Lufthansa. We were seated in the last row of the plane with painfully little legroom — even for two women of relatively small stature. The plane was not equipped with modern conveniences of operational wifi, music, or any other means of entertainment over the ten-hour flight. We were nearly an hour late to depart, but were unable to hear anything over the speakers regarding the cause for the delay, nor could we hear any of the flight attendants' safety instructions. What we could hear, however, was the surprisingly loud and nearly constant DINNNGGGG of the passengers' call buttons as they summoned the flight attendants. Because the flight was an overnighter, we attempted to sleep, but it was nearly impossible to do so due to the noise. I had earplugs in and could still hear the chimes, which were positioned right above our seats and made for an unpleasant experience and cranky travelers. The food was subpar as expected, but it would've been nice to be surprised with something resembling a fresh piece of fruit or vegetable. The flight crew was polite and one of the attendants took pity on us and offered a complimentary shot of whiskey, which partially alleviated the discomfort of the experience. That man is a saint and we surely hope he is better taken care of by this airline than we were. Overall a miserable experience. Will definitely rethink flying both Lufthansa and Air Canada in the future."

Ulemper: "We waited over an hour for two people to board the plane. After we waited, the couple didn't make it past security; so, we had to wait another 20 minutes for the company to take their luggage off of the plane. I was late checking into my hotel, which was in the process of being canceled."

Fordele: "Brand new plane, pleasant attentive staff. Delayed leaving but most of time made up. Since plane was new everything was clean and worked well *including audio, good movie selection too."
