I was not able to board because United Airlines from Richmond (RIC) doesn't know their own policies. I was denied a boarding pass for not have registered on a Kuwait website but US Military is exempt, which is expressed on United's website. Will need a new, fully funded ticket, not at my expense.

Ulemper: "We were able to upgrade to a business class seat (row 1) just 2 days before the flight since we had put in a bid a month before to do so if it was accepted. Honestly, the seat DID NOT EVEN RECLINE, NOR DID IT FEEL VERY SPACIOUS! I felt very taken advantage of to only have access to that part of the plane giving us more leg room for $200 upgrade for each seat. When does a Business Class seat NOT recline??? At least my flight attendant was kind enough suggesting that I let the airline know about my unhappy experience."

No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

We also had to straighten up the seats during meals because it was so bad for the person behind. 2. Boarding is a bit disorganized. Perhaps try splitting the boarding process into zones so it isn't a mad house free for all after the initial boarders. 3. On my flight to Frankfurt, the plane was half empty, yet my seat was changed from row 8 where I would have had almost no one near me back to row 23 where they had cramped all the passesngers into one area of the plane. This was done without request or explanation."

Fordele: "I have a servere hearing problem and was concerned (since we were late leaving Zurich for my changeover in Frankfurt), that I would be late because I can't hear any loudspeaker systems (either on planes or in airports). I felt that I could get easily lost between flights and not have time to get to the Frankfurt/Denver flight. I told this to the person at the gate in Zurich, and he immediately arranged for someone to meet me in Frankfurt and take me there. I was met by Maika in Frankfurt and she was just excellent--personable and efficient and really helpful. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the person at the gate in Zurich. He was also great. I wouldn't have done this if I had had more time, but this really made my day (and my flight!) ! Thank you!"

Ulemper: "I don't understand the boarding process with Lufthansa. Lufthansa does not board by zone but they let everybody board at the same time. The seats in economy class are not wide enough."
Ulemper: "The airplane left Barcelona late and arrived in Frankfurt late. Lufthansa only allowed a 45 minute layover in Frankfurt to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. Because we arrived late - we only had 20 minutes to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. What made this an awful experience is that the flight from Barcelona landed at Gate A - our connecting flight was at Gate Z. This was as about as far away from each gate as you could get. This was over a mile to run in order to catch our connecting flight - I hurt my hamstring during the run. The Lufthansa "assisting agent" in the Frankfurt terminal was less than helpful and laughed when we told her where our connecting gate was. Not only did she laugh but she did not offer any assistance to get us to the gate on time. Prior to our trip - I called Lufthansa and voiced my concern that a 45 minute layover for an international flight was not a lot of time for us to make a connecting flight. The agent I spoke with said that legally - 45 minutes was a standard lay over for Lufthansa and she did not offer me any alternatives. This was not a pleasant experience with Lufthansa and I doubt we will fly with you again."

Ulemper: "1st, neither seat that I selected when checking in were given to me. 2nd both aircraft took off late for no apparent reason. 3rd When waiting to board in Warsaw, I was almost bitten by a large pit pull that a passenger was bringing into the cabin as a comfort animal. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

Fordele: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"

Ulemper: "The boarding process in Norway is a bit of a mess, but not the fault of the airline. We had a delay arriving at the airport and they could have done a bit better communicating what was going on."

Ulemper: "Dozens of passengers, myself included, were forced to check their carry-ons at the gate and pay for it due to Norwegians strict weight policy. To be honest this felt like I was being swindled and it ruined the rest of the experience for me. Do not be tempted by the low fares they offer."

I mentioned it to the staff and he said I had to order it through the tablet but then I mentioned it was broken. Still he didn't have the sense to followup to see how he could rectify it. They gave us a cup at a time and didn't ask if we wanted larger portions."

Ulemper: "Old aircraft Abu Dhabi-Oslo had no inflight entertainment service and no meal service - 7 hours!"
Fordele: "Was not clear that you had to order dinner in advance Not clear that my luggage would only go to Paris and not all the way to Lithuania"
Fordele: "The cost is about 50% of other airlines due to no lay down seats. The Boeing 787 Dream Liner, is a very new and nice aircraft from Stockholm to Ft. Lauderdale. The flight from Stockholm to FLL was pleasant, and the food and drink OK, with good quality box meals, drinks, and three main coarse choices in the beginning and 2 hours before landing in Premium Economy. When coming back to NA and taking off in the morning it is OK with about 30 degree lay back seats."
Ulemper: "Once we landed in Stockholm we had only 1 hour and ten minutes once we landed to get off the plane, clear customs, check in for a new boarding pass (we were told the flight was closed), through customs again, and then a long line where we were thoroughly security interviewed. Once done with the interview process, we were then sequestered with ~ 300 others in an overcrowded area without adequate bathrooms or seating. We had contacted the airline and got conflicting data each of the 4 times on the timing being adequate from both the booking company and Norwegian Air, but did get on, albeit over one hour late in departure time."
Fordele: "Food, price, and long stay in Oslo to give time to enjoy city"
Ulemper: "We were staying in Oslo for 21 hours, but we thought that the checked baggage would stay at the airport. Instead it came out at baggage claim. We even asked the Norwegian staff multiple times whether we have to pick it up in Oslo; they said, 'No.' They said that it would remain at the airport. When we got back to the airport we had unnecessary stress of finding our luggage in some unclaimed baggage office. We almost missed the flight. Norwegian staff needs to be knowledgeable about how baggage is handled."

Ulemper: "I don’t like that if you are low fare, you get zero attention. Not even water for a 13 hour flight."

Ulemper: "I checked 1bag. They lost it. They can’t find it. That’s spoiling the trip."
Ulemper: "We missed the flight due to last minute cancellation of our originating flight from Rochester NY to Newark with United. The cost of changing our flight through Kayak for the next day was over $750 and the travel insurance I purchased through Kayak may not cover this event. I may never use Kayak again. Here we see the high cost of low price deals."
Fordele: "The flight had status of delayed for 24hours due to technical difficulties. No updates were provided, except to wait while they check the issue. Given the technical issues for 24hours there should have been another plane provided for the 300+ passengers."

Ulemper: "No WIFI, no water for free for an 8 hour flight and limited entertainment. Come on its 2018 get it together. Jet Blue and emirates are my top favorite."

Ulemper: "Some will say you get what you pay for: not so. You can get quite comparable costs with lot more humane service in other airlines. This is brutal."

Ulemper: "Make sure you checked bags online 72hrs or more it costs $45/piece but pay at the airport is $65!!! The crew doesn't even offer you water or anything you need to claim for it (at first I didn't ask because I'm afraid they will charge me because we fly low fare.)"
Ulemper: "On an international flight, one would expect at least a meal to be included. But you had to pay, and had to prebook. So without that knowledge I had to overpay for some very basic snacks. Also had to pay to choose a seat and for checking a bag. I've never had to pay for any of this on an international flight before. Tray tables were miserably low too, and I'm not a large person by any means. They hit my lap and left me no room to adjust. Very uncomfortable flight all around."
Ulemper: "Flight was four hours late, we missed the connection to from arlanda to Bangkok. Flight is twenty hours away and since my wife has a Thai passport we are stranded inside of the terminal for the entire time. Airline didn't help with this issue. Also, $260 for two underweight checked bags is ridiculous. No help finding gates at confusing arlanda."

Additionally, the frequency of announcements was disruptive. They could be more efficient with timing and delivery of information shared with passengers. The proximity of the bathrooms was convenient but they need better deodorizers in there -- it was a little stinky during the 2nd half of the trip."

The rest of the party I was traveling with was on a different flight that left a bit sooner so I arrived with them at the airport only to be kept waiting as they were able to go through security upon arrival. Norwegian doesn't have a designated window or kiosk so I wasn't able to get any help on the matter."
Ulemper: "It would be good to know in advance that even for long international flights you're going to have no pillow, no blanket, no drinks and no food!!!!!!! Or pay a lot for it. This is hard for à long ( still expensive) flight. This is the first time I have this experience. It's very dissapointing."
Fordele: "It was late due to some problem with the plane that required additional paperwork and they did not inform us very well anout it. Food is confusing. We got little half cups for tea that we didn't realize were our tea cups."
Ulemper: "It was late. Better communication would help."

Fordele: "Someone in the boarding area called this airline "cheap and cheerful" but that doesn't convey the fact that it's the 787 Boeing plane with roomy seats. And the flight attendants--of which there are many--are cheerful!"
Fordele: "Great service. Prompt and so efficient. Can't say enough good about it."
Fordele: "I make long distance overnight flights about 8 times a year, and this flight on Norwegian was the best flight I've had in years. Plenty of legroom, the seats don't feel crowded together, and my backpack was the only bag in the overhead storage. The chicken and rice was piping hot and had more chicken than I could eat. There are lots of flight attendants so you never feel neglected and they are all friendly."
Ulemper: "I liked the whole experience. I am flying Norwegian again"

Ulemper: "Unacceptable not to have entertainment (movies) on a transatlantic flight in this day and age. We were forewarned but my phone does not maintain power for 8 hours and I would not watch a movie on my phone anyway. I did not bring a laptop or ipad."
Fordele: "My coat was stolen inside the flight, nobody from the airline was able to help. very poor service"
Ulemper: "no real effort or offer to be compensated we are still with cold temperatures here in Sweden - Holland, my coat goes missing in the cabin and the only explanation is, this could happen to anybody!"

There is a degree of unfairness with these impromptu and extra charges. I came on the same flight with the same bag and there was no hassle. I was a soft target and whilst I had no problem with the flight and the service provided, I will not recommend @wizzair. I felt the extra charge was a con."

Ulemper: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. I was abroad so chasing up details I should have been provided with / were never told that I should have, were not on the top of my to do list. I only found out that I had to check in online and that I hadn't been provided with these details when I arrived at the airport. I spent 30 minutes on hold before the problem was rectified and I was given my online check in details but it was now top late to check in online (by 5 minutes ). The flight was delayed due to a number of things - a late arrival, people being let onto the plane slowly, people not sitting down and allowing the plane to taxi and leave. This had a knock on effect of making the plane land late and for me to miss my connection (train) so basically through last minute.com not providing me with the correct details regarding the flight and the flight then being delayed it tripled my whole journey back home."

Flight boarded very late and then flight took off over 2hrs late. No food and drinks provided at airport despite law. Then before landing in Berlin, crew announced that the flight was so delayed that the airport was closed for landings and flight was diverted to Hanover. Flight crew stated over the PA that buses would be waiting at airport to take passengers to Berlin. In fact, no buses or help was provided and passengers were left looking for their own way to Berlin at 1am, when there were very few options Bad bad bad conduct

I was charged £45.99 for not booking priority baggage. All I had was one cabin bag. This error should have been flagged up prior to us boarding I felt aggrieved, not taken care off. Just before boarding to be stopped with baggage. Please make sure you tick priority baggage for any hand luggage/cabin bag 10kg.

90 minutes delayed

There were no info about 55 eur thst I had to pay, I have back with same aircraft and didn't had to pay any fees, it would be nice if you could said before. Maybe I don't have anough money

Very friendly staff at the airport and onboard.

Boarding and special attendance not managed well by ground crew. Also to late in general. After 90 Min. delayed boarding, it was found that technical repairs of the plain were needed before taxying. Immense waste of time for everybody, Ryan / Malta Air seemed to be doing it all for the first time. Not acceptable.

Ulemper: "Delays, with poor comms. After advising of delays, they called us to form queues at the gate, but it was more than 1.5 hours before we started boarding. That’s 1.5 hours standing in line with no communication! No apologies from staff, and when we did start boarding a member of staff was so annoyed at some passengers who we’re in the wrong queue that they called out to the entire queue, (quote) ‘the little baby Jesus is sending you a sign so look to the heavens and you’ll see a sign which says priority to the left and non-priority to the rigjt, ok?’ Again, this is after keeping us queuing with no apologies and no refreshments for 1.5 hours. In all, we were three hours delayed, and not one member of staff even mentioned it. Staff on board were really poor also: huffing and rolling their eyes at passengers ordering food. Genuinely shocking service."

At flyene er skrabet - der er intet net til opbevaring. At kabinepersonalet taler utroligt dårligt engelsk, så man ikke forstår, hvad der bliver sagt over højttaleren."

Ulemper: "Having the family sitting separately on the flight as we were not able to afford to pay additional money to per book seats. But it was only a 2 hour flight so we coped. Think it would be a good idea if the airline didn’t just assume that because a child is 11 years old they are able to sit away from their parents. My son has additional needs and so although his chronological age is 12 years his developmental age is only 7/8 years so being sat away from his parents was very stressful for him. Maybe asking during booking if any of the party hav s additioonal needs would be a good idea."
