Fordele: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
Ulemper: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

Ulemper: "Singapore Airlines is so wildly overrated. The service is frequently poor, and the cabin environment dirty and old unless flying on their very latest planes. Even their A380s are now stale and musty. Not nice."

Fordele: "Cabin crew was excellent and the premium economy seat was very comfortable and accommodating. The choice of food from the variety menu was also delicious."
Fordele: "The cabin crew were fantastic. Food was abundant. Most boarding systems worked well. Choosing seats was confusing on website so we were allocated seating. The newer planes had a fantastic touch screen entertainment system. The seats on the newer planes were much more comfortable and roomy"
Ulemper: "The small seats are squishy on the older planes. The entertainment system on the older planes were dated and difficult to use. I felt sick after the flight to UK but felt fine coming home after one long flight on a newer plane."

Fordele: "Same as my trip to Japan. Crew was great, boarding was easy, seats were pretty comfortable, food was great, and entertainment awesome. Gave socks and toothbrush amenities, along with the normal pillow and blanket."

Fordele: "Singapore airline crew is always top notch in terms of service and attentiveness. It's a direct flight from Singapore to Canberra! Beats the layover in Sydney or Melbourne."
Ulemper: "Business class seats were uncomfortable compared to other business class. They're not lay flat seats, and I can't get the seat even close to flat because my feet jam in to the bottom of the seat in front of me. The food wasn't great, some of the meal which was supposed to be served hot was still cold."

Ulemper: "Mediocre food, lousy entertainment system that belongs to the last decade. Singapore Airlines has not been the premium carrier it was a decade ago and is now simply a so-so airline charging exorbitant fares."
Fordele: "I've always flown Singapore airlines wherever possible. Standards are unbeatable until this flight..."
Ulemper: "The dinner was terrible. I am a long time customer of Singapore Airlines and I know where the standard are. The food on this flight was the worst I've seen. The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."
Fordele: "The crew of ladies and men where so very gracious and courtly, both to the passengers and each other. My wife and I both took note that the flight attendants were "First Class" with emphasis on class. Exceptionally well groomed, but also conveyed genuine concern and helpfulness and at the same time, real workers, energetic and perky. We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. I will always remember their wonderful service when thinking about our trip to Frankfurt, Germany. Robert"

Ulemper: "Crew was very poor in responding to any requests. I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Ulemper: "old plane, boarding ramp smelled musty, food not nice, entertainment system was old not touch screen, male crew not patient with passengers, drinks stingy(split a can of soda with other passengers, and gave you a 1/4 cup). When asked for more OJ with breakfast was told they would come back later(mouth was very dry due to the air). Not impressed as we paid good money for the ticket with the poor service"

Ulemper: "Delayed two and a half hours! Scheduled flight to take off at 0010hours was already a no brainer. Taking off at 0330hours is a killer!"

Ulemper: "Breakfast was pathetic. Not fresh. For 16 hours flight only two meals were served and no snacks were provided"
